Opinions de La Parisienne New York
Walking into La Parisienne feels like a sudden teleportation from the frantic streets of New York's Financial District straight to a cozy corner in Paris. We visited for a morning brunch and were instantly charmed by the intimate, chic atmosphere. The space is small but incredibly inviting, making it the perfect escape for a romantic morning.
Strong bakery and breakfast/lunch spot in FiDi. We had the French toast and the salmon brioche, both well executed without being heavy. The pastry case looked properly laminated and fresh, and the savory lunch plates coming out also looked competent. Worth a stop if you are nearby.
Excellent place, the quality of the food is very good and the menu is simple and delicious. Pet-friendly — I was able to go with my service dog and we had a great time. Highly recommended, and they have a wine happy hour! 🍷
Stopped by La Parisienne for coffee and it was a great experience. The coffee was excellent and the pastries were fresh and delicious. The atmosphere feels like a small café in Paris and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Perfect spot for a quick coffee or a relaxing break. Highly recommend!
I stopped by La Parisienne and had the Chai Latte, Cheese Croissant, and Yogurt & Granola Parfait. Everything was absolutely delicious! The croissant was buttery and flaky, the parfait was fresh and flavorful, and the chai latte was perfectly spiced and comforting. The café itself is small and quaint, with a cozy vibe. You have the option to dine indoors or enjoy a seat outside, which makes it a nice spot whether you’re catching up with a friend or just taking a quiet moment for yourself. They also offer curbside pickup, which is super convenient. Customer service was great, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. All in all, La Parisienne is a wonderful spot in NYC if you’re looking for a charming café with tasty food and drinks. I’ll definitely be back!
La Parisienne, located in the heart of the Financial District at 9 Maiden Ln, is a charming little French café that feels like stepping into a slice of Paris amid the busy energy of Wall Street. The space is a bit tight, but that only adds to its cozy, authentic Parisian café feel. I went with the Salmon Brioche, and it was nothing short of exquisite. The toasted brioche was buttery yet light, carrying layers of smoked salmon, creamy herb ricotta, cucumber, avocado, capers, pickled onion, and fresh dill. It reminded me of how the French approach food quality ingredients prepared simply but with balance and care, letting freshness speak for itself. Brioche, with its rich and pillowy texture, has always been central to French baking, and here it becomes the perfect base for something indulgent yet elegant. Every bite was a harmony of textures and flavors silky, tangy, creamy, and crisp. My friend ordered the Avo Toast on multigrain, with miso tahini spread, lemon, scallions, black sesame, and ripe avocado. It was so good that I didn’t even get a chance to snap a picture ,the kind of dish you dive into before your phone comes out. What I loved most was how it felt like a modern, global nod layered on top of a French café tradition. Avocado toast may not be French by origin, but the way it was plated and seasoned reflected that same spirit of refinement and attention to detail you’d find in Paris cafés reinventing classics. La Parisienne blends New York energy with timeless French café culture small tables, artful plates, and food that’s as comforting as it is thoughtful. I’ll absolutely be back to explore more of the menu.
This is a cute French cafe in FiDi. I went on a Saturday afternoon, and while it was busy, the wait for a table for two was short (I would recommend joining the waitlist ahead tho). The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. The Croque Madame and French toast were well-made and tasted great. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for brunch or a quick bite.
Absolutely love this place. The french toast is something to brag about. Fluffy with some sort of cream filling. Delicious. Just wish they had cream to serve it with. Had eggs also but they could either only boil them if fry them. No scrambled, unfortunately. Will be back for the French toast though, for sure. Good price point also, very affordable.
Came here at open on a Sunday morning. Sat at the bar stool next to the kitchen. Great service and food. As a former restaurant employee was awesome to watch the lone cook crank out all the food for a full house of brunch enthusiasts. They managed to misplace my order and offered me complimentary French toast and a mimosa. Great service recovery. Lovely french atmosphere but upbeat and not stuffy. No more scaffolding on the outside as of Nov 3, 2024 ( there is on the google maps pic). So sitting outside would be nice on a warm day as well. Food was delicious and service attentive but not overbearing. Don't hesitate to go, but get there early on the weekend!

Very cute hole in the wall place. They warm up the croissant and that is awesome since it didn’t taste like freshly baked or especially tasty before they warmed it. After warming, the croissant is milky and fluffy. The egg wash is shiny which seals in moisture while gives ir a special aesthetic. Not the best croissant ever but fairly decent.
Food was quite good. We ordered the ham and cheese croissant as well as the salmon toast. I am giving a 4-star review because I saw what I consider a major gap and room for improvement. The lack of space utilization took me by surprise for a place that has such high rating. The tableware, round tables, and number of tables make the place way too crowded and people do not have enough personal space, especially during winter times. This can be improved with some minor tweaking here and there.
We had the salmon brioche and a croque madame, both were very good. The coffee was solid too, but the real highlight was the dessert: the chocolate tart with ice cream is a must-try. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only downsides were the size of the space, it can feel quite cramped when crowded and the smell; our clothes held onto the food odors after leaving.
Such a cute little French-style brunch spot! The place is small but super cozy with a nice vibe. Got the latte and french toast with banana, blueberries, and almond flakes — so good! Soft, not too sweet, and perfect with the coffee. The smoked salmon and avocado toast was fresh and flavorful too — love the combo with lemon and dill. Great spot to chill, grab brunch, and enjoy some quality food and coffee. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out! ☕️💙🥐

Want to love it… The overall experience on the occasion I’ve been here have been fine, but there are a few areas that missed the mark for me and my group. The servers are warm and friendly, but we had to ask for more water, extra cream for the coffee, sugar, and additional items. Each time I’ve dined here there were problems between my order, and the dish had to be sent back. The flavors are good. Coffee is tasty, not over roasted. The ambience is lovely, you get the feel of a cute café in Europe.
