Great service and coffee

I visited NY for 4 days and I found the best / most friendly service over here. Nice staff, quite agile and last but not least, very good coffee and Corn Muffin. Highly recommend.

Come here constantly. Along with a bunch of grad students and healthcare workers. The food is pretty good! Comparable to other places nearby in priced (think 7-8$ for a ham and Swiss croissant). Generally good - the cakes are delicious, and gluten free options. Sometimes not a lot of seating but the coffee is fairly strong.

My new favorite coffee place! I live really close to this shop and I come here to get coffee between class. Prices are very reasonable and the service is always very nice and very fast. I recommend the nutella latte and the spinach feta croissant

Needed to spend an hour working and the Nutella Beignet and Cortado (single) hit the spot perfectly. Staff was great and the place feels fresh and bright. Not loud, which helps when one wants to concentrate a bit.

If you want to enjoy coffee or drinks near Columbia University, I recommend this place. The staff are friendly, and the drinks taste great. One small downside is that there’s only one power outlet in the corner, so it’s a bit inconvenient to charge a laptop…^^

I've been coming here since it opened and can say with confidence that not only are their cappuccinos, croissants, and raspberry beignets consistently tasty, but the baristas who work here are really kind. They remember my order and always brighten my day. Also, the prices are reasonable (improved further by their rewards program) and I've never had a problem finding somewhere to sit, unlike other lovely cafes in the area. I recommend Niko!!

Why yes, that pre-made sandwich they heat up for you is indeed $14. Place is perfectly average for the price. Friendly staff and often a place to sit. I come here because it's predictable and nearby.

Their regular coffee is really as bad as it is reviewed by many. I wasn't able to get even halfway through with it and had to toss it. The service was friendly, and they had warmed up my croissant upon request. The plain butter croissant was alright.

The coffee was horrible. Do not drink regular coffee. You have to have a café Americano. The staff did not want to change the coffee for me had to pay for another one.

Worst matcha I’ve ever had

False advertising. It says on the sign that the smoothies are $9.99 ($10.85 w/tax) for a 20 oz cup. It is a 16 0z cup. An already overpriced item and false advertising. Mostly ice and almond milk. Never again. I measured the amount of fluid in the cup...it's 16 oz. False advertising.

The service sucks. the young lady that opens at 7am is extremely rude. Customer service is at an all time low. I wont be going back

I ordered London Fog and took the first sip as I got home. This is what I saw when I opened the lid. SHOCKING. They should train their baristas again or at least hire someone that actually knows their recipes. So disappointed.

Bought a cannelé bordeaux from the cafe and it was rubbery and tasteless. Politely asked the staff if it was meant to taste like this but I was told that was how it was, despite my multiple attempts to tell them it did not taste anything similar to what I had before while showing them a google photo of it. I was given another cannele and it tasted even more dry and rubbery, and when I complained again, the staff laughed and told his manager that I was comparing it to a google photo. Manager raised his voice and rudely offered a beignet, without offering any apology. Poor service, rude staff, no apology and very bad pastry. Would not come here again.

Worst service to date from the front desk girl with the tattoo on her arm. I ordered my latte well ahead in line and she starts serving everyone in queue. I politely asked ‘Hi if my latte was ready too’ and she had the audacity to scoff at me and told me 'it's coming!' I always used to go there but her attitude is always the worst. They frequently screw up your order and if you ask them to correct it all hell breaks loose. Will definitely not go here again not getting business from me

I ordered a vanilla latte and it tasted like mocha, when i daid something to an employee about it she took my cup and proceeded to put 10 pumps of vanilla syrup into my cup making it so insurmountably sweet and virtually undrinkable, I spent $8 for a drink that i literally took a few sips of and wanted to throw away, Don’t come here expecting to get a good coffee, I’d recommend Community Food & Juice’s lattes instead , save your time and money!!

The drinks were awful and we kindly asked if it could please be remade. one was a pumpkin spice latte that was extremely syrupy, grainy, and bitter concentrate. An older woman working said “its not our fault if you dont like the drink” even though it was extremely un-consumable!!!!! i feel it couldve been a nice courtesy if they couldve just remade it or added milk since i was inconvenienced 60 dollars on drinks which is absurd!!! We talked to every employee with respect and dignity, didnt receive it back. I came back 2 days later and still no sign of receiving the money. The same cashier said “did i say come back in 2 days? I said come back in 3.” I said the dates i was here, and he was trying to convince me i didnt come on that day even though it says it on the receipt. Again, no apology, no respect in how i was spoken to. I was told to come back but that was just another inconvenience anyways because the establishment itself did not return the money. Never come here!!!!! Horrible service!!!!!
