Opinions de Reif's Tavern New York
In over 30 years, since my first slice, the pizza is still amazing. Was in town visiting family. Good to see some things in nyc are still there with all the changes.
Pizza to go before traveling back to Syracuse area. Ready on time and perfect.
First time here and I loved it. Had a slice at the restaurant along with some cappuccino gelato then took home the chicken parmigiana. Can’t wait to come back to try more items from the menu. Apparently they have live music some Fridays and Saturday night. This might be my new hang out. Great customer service, friendly and welcoming.
This place is BUSY. They have vegan cheese as an option which is great. That being said, they don't have a fully vegan menu so no specialty slices or pies that are vegan. If you're looking for a plain vegan slice though, this is a solid option. I appreciate that the pizza itself is just so well made so even if they don't have many options, it's just a delicious pizza on its. Crunchy bottom and crust.
The owner is one of the sweetest people I have met! We came from Missouri and he was such a welcoming person. We tried the pepperoni and margarita pizza. Both were the best pizza I’ve ever had. Prices were great! Feed 5 adults and 2 kids with 2 large pizzas.
Great pizza and the nicest people working there. 100% recommend
I’ve occasionally passed the pizza is really flavorful . Not salty . The white was perfectly seasoned , I had know clue it would be so nice . The sauce for the plain was well seasoned too . My regular pizza shop is garbage compared to this place . This will be my new go to
ate so much it was delicious my favorite was the artichokes!!! 10/10
Some of the best pizza on the UES. They are always busy for a reason - the staff is pleasant, they use quality ingredients, and all the food they make is delicious. Their pizza dough is my favorite and their slices with different toppings are always fresh.... I recommend you try their grandma pizza and their Chicken Marsala is amazing!
The lasagna and live music was amazing! Wish I could go back and enjoy another memorable evening with my friends.
In the city for the marathon. We had a group of six meeting up. Picked this place for its location but so glad we did. Reasonably priced and food was soo good. It was busy so servers were busy but we didn’t wait long for anything. Highly recommend. Made reservations the at before without problem.
Behind a pizza parlor exterior hides a lovely restaurant. The wait staff is professional, the food delicious and they have live music on the weekends. I'd walked by it in the years I've lived in the neighborhood. With glass casses and some tables it appeared just another Yorkville pizzeria. Only recently did I discover that their back room is a special venue, with a great menu, far above the generic red-sauce offerings of the other local establishments. Veal, chicken, and seafood dishes as well as great pastas are on offer. There are table clothes and real cuttlery, all at neighborhood prices. The jazz was excellent, of cover charge venue quality! It is a hidden jem and a neighborhood asset!
Great food, great service, great atmosphere! We had a wonderful dinner in the backroom of the restaurant with my fiancée
Food was amazing!!! 10/10 service and I love listening to live music it sounded so good it sounded pre-recorded.
Best Pizza we've tasted. And Joe the owener came up and spoke to us personally shook our hands and thanked us for our service- very old school vibes. My boyfriend felt like a made man straight out of Good Fellas. Pablo our waiter was amazing. So all in all amazing food and impeccable service.
Amazing atmosphere with live music ! The Food was also very good. We didn’t expet this place to be so cool. Hidden gem
Great place for homestyle Italian of another era. The restaurant is a fast casual pizza joint facing 2nd and a quiet sit down restaurant facing 92nd. The garlic knots in the bread bowl are delicious. We liked the eggplant parmigiana with thinly sliced eggplant, minimal breading, and light not-too-sweet sauce. The garlicky broccoli has nice sautéed garlic and wasn’t watery. The desserts were well presented. We liked the airy texture of the tiramisu and tartufo. Staff was patient with requests.
The food was good and the atmosphere was good, just wish everyone was treated with the same top notch behavior. I noticed some are treated a little bit different. But other than that I enjoy the food when I stop by there.
Delizia 92 is a must visit whenever I am in the mood for super amazing pizza. This place never disappoints. When I had family at a nearby hospital many years ago, Delizia’s food gave me, and my family so much comfort. Major life celebrations, Delizia’s 92 catered our family’s milestones. There were times when I lived in NJ I would drive into the City just to buy pizza from here. Delizia’s 92 is special not only for the awesome food, but the workers are all very nice. Never ever had bad food, or a bad experience. It is such a huge treat, and joy to enjoy amazing food on each visit. If your ever on the Upper Eastside and want good NY style pizza, give Delizia’s 92 a try. My favorite is the Grandma Pizza, or if it’s just for me. I buy several slices of plain pizza. The slices are huge, large selection of various toppings. They sell bottles of wine, coke products, and there is indoor, plus outdoor seating. Parking can be tough, but you can find street parking if you drive around, plenty of garages.
The veg option might just be the best out of the lot
We visited Delizia today, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! We enjoyed the Veal Sorrentino and the Chicken Arciduca—both were spectacular. The Clam Linguine in White Sauce was divine, and every dish was cooked to perfection, pasta was textbook al-Dente. The service was outstanding, and the cozy atmosphere, complete with light instrumental music, made us feel right at home. We loved that there’s a quick-serve Pizza and Sandwich Shop in the front for a casual bite and a lovely dining room in the back for a more relaxed meal, so we’ll definitely be back for both experiences. We left feeling completely satisfied and can’t wait to return many times!
This is a pizza joint ....but they serve the best pizza. Been in many places in Roma and elsewhere around the world, cruise ships and lived in South Philly for 5 years. This is the best.
Since I was a little kid, I’ve been raving about Delizia 92 to all my friends. I grew up in NY, and have lived in many other States, but this past Saturday, I took some of my friends from CT and Canada to eat at what I call NY’s best Italian restaurant. It’s been at least ten years since I went to Delizia 92, and I’m thankful they are still alive and well! I had a “Ratatouille” moment eating the garlic bread, and the pepperoni pizza. Not to mention, the Shrimp Fra Diavolo was delicioso! No question, Delizia 92 deserves 5 stars! They definitely treat all diners well, and there’s also fantastic live music playing when we dined in the backroom! Buon Natale and Mangia! Many blessings to Delizia 92! 🍕🇮🇹🎄🙏
Always an incredible time at Delizia. Food is spectacular and service is excellent. The Deliziosa pasta is my go to always. Pair it with some wine and you have yourself an excellent night out. Delizia is a must try!

Fantastic dinner experience. Staff was kind and helpful. Great ambiance and greater live jazz music. Delizia 92 has a wonderful homey feel with classic Italian dishes.
Delizia 92 Ristorante is truly a gem tucked quietly behind the pizzeria out front—so unassuming you might walk past it without realizing there’s a cozy Italian haven just a few steps away. Once inside, you’re greeted with a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels like stepping into a local Italian home in Venezia. It’s the kind of place where conversations flow easily—quiet enough for catching up with friends, perfect for a client meeting, or even a relaxed date night. We also learned that on weekends, they feature live jazz music, which makes perfect sense because there’s a piano right in the dining room. It’s such a charming touch and adds even more character to the space. The service was another highlight. The wait staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and offered thoughtful recommendations throughout the evening. They even accommodated my friend’s special request—turning what’s normally a risotto pollo into a gnocchi-based dish, without hesitation. I ordered the Pollo Arciduca, which came with a lovely side of pasta, and we also shared the calamari fritti, which was perfectly crisp. Everything we had was delicious, comforting, and prepared with care. Their wine selection is also impressive, offering great options that pair nicely with the menu. Delizia 92 feels like the kind of neighborhood spot you want to keep coming back to—and the kind you’re excited to tell others about. Whether you’re local or just passing through, it’s absolutely worth a visit.
I ate food from this restaurant two nights in a row. The first night, we ate in the restaurant and had pizza and a stromboli. The second night we brought food back to our hotel, where we had a pasta dish, soup and more pizza. The take-out came with delicious bread and garlic knots. The order also came complete with plastic ware and plenty of napkins. The staff was very friendly. I would've eaten there a third night but I was going home the next day. Highly recommend!

Very fast service. Another New York pizza. Nothing special, fine if you are in the area craving for a slize
Thise place is one of the best in the neighborhood, it's the first place we like to go when we come back to town. In the summer, we eat warmly in their back part or in their outdoor part. Our favorite dishes, by far the best, are the Sicilian slice and the Chicken Marsala, Pizza, Pasta , Salad, Cake , whatever you like!
We had a surprise party for my Aunt in their back room and the place was a perfect size for my large family. Service was good but a bit rushed - you could tell they had another event after us… Food was served family style but the serving dishes were taken away without being finished and we were not offered to take any home. Lots of food wasted in my opinion. Otherwise the staff was friendly and efficient.
A bit small for $3.25, I guess it's the neighborhood rents. Good coverage of cheese and sauce. Thin, very, very chewy crust. Fair flavoring overall, seems to be a Spanish pizza, couldn't find any Italian flavor at all. My grade is 84.

The place is nice. The pasta was good. The pepperoni pizza was blehhhhh. The customer service was bad. Waitress got upset because we asked for stuff.... 🤨. 1. That’s her job. 2. If she would wait for me to finish my sentence then She wouldn’t have to make another trip when she came back 🤷🏻♀️
We ordered for takeout. Pizza was good but for me it was missing some time in the oven. Still the sauce was good, it’s has lots of cheese and a very generous quantity of pepperoni. Service was friendly, we called ahead and when we arrived pizza was ready. Thanks a lot
$8 minimum on credit card. It’s posted on a tiny sign on a napkin holder so not easy to spot. Pizza is decent. The sauce is very sweet which is interesting.
overall, i have to say i was somewhat disappointed by this experience. the seating was nice, and the menu looked inviting. yet, the calamari was bland and the pasta was cooked incorrectly. i had asked for the meat filling but got the cheese instead. the restaurant also seemed understaffed. it took several tries to get my water refilled. the servers were nice though

Food great but don’t leave a deposit for an event… you’ll never get your money back if you cancel even if you give 2 weeks notice

Not much of a welcoming place at all the heavy set white women didn't want to great me or ask what I wanted so the Spanish guy cooking helped me, but I paid 5$ a slice and felt like I was too brown lol smh no love, stay away look for the cheap slice spot they are a bit nicer if you're black.
I’ve been here five times with a friend and can speak from experience. There’s a restaurant in the back that makes an effort to look cozy and charming. But the food lacks flavor and is grossly overpriced, especially for a hole-in-the-wall East Harlem location. No one speaks English and it may take two or three efforts with the Latino staff to find someone to translate what you want. Same with the pizza area. Well, after taking home a “chef’s salad“ three nights ago, I’m calling it quits with this place. The deli meat wasn’t up to snuff, they put in only half a hard boiled egg, a couple of mushy tomato wedges, and two little brown olives. My mistake, there were two slices of cucumber. I gave the slivers of cheese to my dog. The rest was chopped-up lettuce. The tortellini soup was disgusting. Yellow-colored water and undercooked tortellini. For the salad and the soup they charged me $25.
I wish I would’ve just kept walking. I walked in and thought I’d just try it. The outer boroughs have way better pizza. Even City Pizza on 1st Ave has better pizza. The tomato sauce tastes straight out of the can, overly tomato paste based. It was not good. I won’t be in again. I thought, sure ok we’ve all had pizza that was not to our preference but where’s the harm? Right outside the bathroom was a big cockroach, large antennae and all. I wish I saw it before. Yes, I know many places have them etc. I get it. The food wasn’t good enough to risk finding a roach in it. Go elsewhere, seriously. What a shame, people were nice but the taste isn’t there and the roach was.
