Great place to pop in for a Budweiser and check the score of your favorite team. The staff is incredibly on it and if you get hungry the nachos are damn good.

I like their drink specials and they have a great deal on chicken wings on Mondays. The bartenders are pretty friendly. During football season, they have a crowd to watch the Steelers game.

Came here for the first time ever after walking by and decided to just walk in. Olivia was our server and she was so sweet and welcoming! She was extremely attentive but also soooo friendly and made the bar feel like such a welcoming space. I will definitely come back again just because she made the bar so fun for us! Music was great, drinks were great, but Olivia really made the experience remarkable. She is so nice and SO sweet and genuine!!!

This is hands down the best bar on the lower east side. Walking in, everyone makes you feel comfortable and welcome. The bartenders, servers, even the owners are so nice and sociable, they make you feel right at home. Sports, music, drinking, whatever your craze, they got it at Reservoir. I can't recommend it enough.

Nice bar that seems to be largely locals. Popped in for a quick bite and the bartender was super kind and attentive! He noticed I was traveling and offered to wrap my leftovers in foil for my backpack instead of giving me a large box. Moments like these really put a place above and beyond in my book!

After Amity Hall in Greenwich village screwed up big time with a reservation I made a week in advance, my gem of a friend managed to find this place last minute to celebrate my 21st birthday. They were extremely kind and accommodating despite the last minute situation and I really liked how they were extremely lenient with the reservation timings. The service was excellent and the waitress we had was an absolute sweetheart. The Buffalo and teriyaki wings were EXCELLENT and I really enjoyed their fries. To top all of this, they provided a chocolate lava cake on the house for my birthday. They just overall made me feel special and hyped me up for my 21st birthday and completely turned around an evening that would have been a milestone birthday disaster. I will definetly be recommending this to my friends and would love to come back soon!

Randomly found myself at the Reservoir after dinner the other night and am happy I did ! Elle made sure we got a table and kept the drinks flowing ! It was such a cozy, inviting atmosphere, and it’s definitely my new favorite place. Thank you to Elle for taking care of us all night !

Excellent food, beverages and service. I highly recommend. The food: the burger was melt in your mouth, the steak Ceasar salad was just the right seasoning - basically you can’t go wrong with this place. The drinks were strong - and quite a a bit to choose from.

This is by far one the of the best bars in Nyc. The bartenders the servers and the owners are very welcoming and extremely attentive. I recommend this bar to anybody that wants to have a great time or just wants to wind down with some great hand crafted cocktails.

This is a great local sports bar the staff is super friendly. One of the locals Casey who has been there since the bars founding is always posted up and ready to talk to locals and visitors. If you see him say hey and grab a cold one with him. Also the burgers are great.

Amazing budget bar in an otherwise expensive area. Super cool staff, amazing prices for the city and a good mixed crowd of clientele. Popular bar food location as well. Only downside is this place can get crowded fast so be prepared to wait for a spot to chill at !

So many memories here, this place brings alot of smiles and people together. For years and years . The service is always amazing and the servers are exceptional. The drinks are off the hook and the finger foods are so good. The pretzel is fresh and really good. Always a joy here and will highly recommend and be back.

Relaxing atmosphere: we showed up a little after 5 and sat outside. As outdoor seating lovers are aware, this sometimes means that you don’t get customer service as quickly. Not here! We were checked on frequently by the super nice woman waiting on us, and I swear she arrived as soon as my friends’ drinks became empty. The food is lovely too: try the frickles! I’m sometimes apprehensive about pickle fries because they can be soggy, but the frickles here stay crisp and they’re well-seasoned.

Best sports bar in NYC in my opinion. Gets crowded for Indiana games, so make sure you know that schedule before you go. But a great place to watch football on Sundays. There isn’t a bad viewing angle in the bar. No other bar like it in Greenwich above Washington Square.

I came to this place by accident before a concert nearby. I figured a burger and a beer and I would be on my way. I have eaten a lot of burgers, but this place has had the BEST burger I have had in my life. Maybe it was how hungry I was. Maybe I was just really in the mood for a burger. Who knows. But it was perfectly done, very juicy and absolutely delicious. I debated having a second one and being late for the show. I regret not doing it. I haven't gone back since. Maybe I'm afraid that it was a one off. I'm certain it wasn't. And I will return eventually. Long drive from PA! And thanks to the tolls and new congestion tolls in NYC I'm not in any rush. But this burger is worth it.

Stopped in for Happy Hour with some coworkers. Good atmosphere - lively music but not too loud, otherwise it’s your average sports bar. Standard beers were $8-$10 (which is pricey still in my opinion, but good for NYC), and Happy Hour pricing was competitive, if for a limited selection. Our server was very friendly and flexible, helped us grab a table, and made sure our drinks never got empty. Would go again.

Reservoir, located near Greenwich Village/Union Square, is a beautiful bar with great vibes, making it a perfect spot to unwind with friends. However, it can get a bit loud after hours, so keep that in mind if you're looking for something quieter. The food was just okay—we had the buffalo wings, which were a bit too salty, and fries that were also over-salted. While I understand they’re meant to complement the drinks, they weren’t really to my taste. The drinks, though, were the highlight! The Shaffers Special, with Casamigos tequila, club soda, and watermelon Red Bull, was incredibly refreshing. The Cherry Bomb, with tequila, cherry puree, lime juice, and soda water, was delicious and balanced. The Berry Nice had a strong herbal taste, as the ginger beer was a bit overpowering, but still enjoyable. We finished with a Sam Adams Seasonal, which was amazing. The waitresses were not only pretty but also exceptional at their job, ensuring we had a great experience. Oops—I forgot to take photos of the drinks, but they were as good as they sound! For drinks and service, Reservoir is definitely worth a visit, even if the food didn't quite hit the mark for me.

Best neighborhood bar in the area. The staff is great and the mix of regulars makes this a must stop when I am in the area or just want to meet someone for drinks. The food is actually surprisingly delicious for a bar. Good selection of spirits including some of the higher end whiskey and stuff like Pappy Van Winkles!

Cool spot to come to for drinks. Stopped in with my brother before we went to the movies (Regal). Then we stopped again after the movie before heading back to Jersey. Of course at night it was packed. Because of the smallish size of the place, we was still able to easily get service. We sat at the lil table by the front window, which happens to be by the end of the bar. We decided this will be our go to spot whnever we're at the Regal in that area.

Decent bar ... Service was great .. The ladies were very attentive and helped us secure a table when we walked in. Plenty of TV's and they have their Steelers flags hung so I think it's safe to say they host Steelers football watch parties during the season.

It's a bar's bar. Typical NYC bar. Moderate noise, sports on, and space in the back. Usual domestics, some craft beers, and loads of liquor. Reasonable amount of seating for a hole in the wall. Would go again, if I find myself on that side of town again.

There's a comfortable feel here. Service was excellent. Love the juke box and beer selection. Has that musty smell you only find in that town. But a good neighborhood joint!

LET'S GO STEELERS. OK I finally came here last night after one of my friends told me it was one of his favorite bars in all of New York. My favorite bar for food and drink and sports wtaching had been Whiskey Tavern, but that gets way too friggin crowded so we stopped going there. We started going to Gin Mill but it was way too far and the chicken sandwiches were just AIITE. Finally, we found a place that's close enough to us and has AWESOME food. They have $.30 wings here with a 10 wing minimum (that's $3.00 for you folks that suck at math). The only thing is that you'll want to order your wings fierst because they take a while to make since there are so many orders. I got a chicken tender salad and it was amazing. My friend likes the quesadillas and the burgers too. Reservoir looks corwded when you first get in at the bar. But they also have a back area with tables which is spacious and not crowded!

Great place to go to watch a game, and enjoy a few pints. There is a slightly college-age feel to this place which makes sense considering its proximity to NYU, but without the drunken riots I remember from my university days. The food isn't bad either. They have the typical bar fare - wings, nachos, sandwiches. They make a decent burger. It's a fun after work spot too!

If you know to expect a dive bar, you'll be fine here. There are plenty of TVs to watch a game and the bartenders are friendly. I was here on Halloween so it was a bit crowded with the NYU crowd, which I imagine is their regular crowd anyways. Overall I'd recommend it for a good time.

A great spot for a late night stop. A fun atmosphere, there is always great music playing. And it's a fun little bar in the village. However, I go for their bar food! They have always made a mean chicken finger - and they do still. Though, I was very sad to learn that they no longer offer waffle fries! They used to have some of the best waffle fries in the city - the perfect crunch, seasoned just right, & the right addition to any drink. The new fries were still very good; they were not the greatness that was their waffle fry.... But, in a world without waffle fries, regular fries will have to do.

Honestly, it was a really great bar to get a couple of drinks at after watching a movie at the regal cinema nearby. It's honestly a chill vibe, not too loud so definitely good for conversation . I got myself a few drafts here, and ordered the nachos. The staff was very attentive, however, the nachos were just OK. To be honest, and maybe I'm biased because I'm not a fan of them, but way too much jalapeño. Other than that, dope spot, not too pricey considering New York, and overall a good time with friends!

Nice dive bar. Nice people. Decent happy hour. You can tell this is a bar where many locals frequent. I like those kind of bars. Where everybody knows your name. I got a glass of cabernet for 5$ for happy hour. It wasn't bad wine, better than many other happy hour wines at different bars. Service was quick & friendly.

Great food and decent drink selection, but the service was pretty awful. Three servers spent most of their time talking to one guy inside, took about 10 minutes of waiting for a drink and it wasn't busy at all.

Regular sports divey bar with a slight smell of sweat and Clorox. Decent selections of beers and food menu. Nice service staff. Not a bad place to watch a game if you're in the area.

Typical sport bar with pretty/nice waitresses. Drinks are at a decent price and the food is good. Is one of my to go places when I am by Union Square Park. It can get very loud and annoying when is football season but that's any bar that shows sports. I will say give it a try.

First of all, THIS IS NOT A STEELERS BAR. Yeah they'll play the game and the sound but the vibe is gone. Used to be wall to wall black and gold, that's over. The food is good but everything is really expensive now, so you might as well go to another bar that has more space. Service and food is why I gave this place 3 stars

This place used to have the best buffalo wings (pre-Covid) but now they taste awful and sweet—they might still be wings but they are not good and are NOT buffalo wings. At first I thought they gave me some other flavor by mistake. Their new french fries are now characterless and disappointing too. Sorry to say I will not be returning here unless they go back to the old recipes. Don’t fix what isn’t broken! Three stars only because I don’t want to hurt this business but I AT LEAST want them to realize they’re disappointing some loyal customers (look through the reviews and you’ll see I’m not the only one who feels this way). Still solid pours with the beers though👌

I went here to have a drink after class with some classmates. There was a bit of confusion regarding seating and from whom we were supposed to order. Later we were able to sit at the bar and enjoy a nice conversation without being bothered by bartender which was pleasant. It's not the type of place I'd personally seek out, but it's okay when visiting with company.

Very cool bar overall - the margarita we ordered however was flat out awful with very cheap tequila and old lime juice that was sour. For the price of the drink I think they could do a lot better! However our bartender took pity on us and agreed that it was terrible and replaced it with a beer instead. If the bartender is agreeing how bad it is than that should say something about maybe trying to improve that... Overall we liked the area and the bar but they would need to up their drink game for us to head back. These days with the prices of everything you have to be on your game if you want returning customers.

The vibes in the bar are pretty great and if you just go there to drink I’m sure you’d have a good time. Service wasn’t the friendliest, but this is NYC; the service industry is stressful and people are tired. That doesn’t mean you should over charge us by $24 for drinks we didn’t order, but the biggest gripe was the wings. Buffalo wings should in no way ever be sweet. Like nah. Tasted like there was cinnamon? or some random spice in the sauce. Also I’m not saying the wings should come in a pool of sauce, but every wing should at least be healthily coated. More than a couple were pretty dry. Lastly is the price. To quote our waitress, to which I concede as a valid point, “It’s the city.” Sure, yes. But 8 wings for $15? Of that caliber? Huh? Like in the grand scheme of things y’all can price things how you want, but there are bars within 10 minutes walking distance that sell 20 wings for $30, and they’re bomb. I know I know, “I should just go there right?” All I’m saying is if the great Google algorithm is gonna give you one $ re: price of the restaurant, the wings should reflect that label with respect to cost or quality. Preferably both.

Used to be my favorite sports bar pre-COVID. Post COVID, way downhill. They had the best wings, waffle fries and bar food in the city, and now it’s mediocre at best. Not sure if it’s new management, or too cheap out on food costs, but won’t be coming back.

I am actually confused because the reviews I've read were great and that's what led me to go there in the first place. But when I got there, it was the complete opposite. It felt like no one there wanted to be there and didn't really care about anything. I ordered drinks and the bartender disappeared for a while as I was going to close my tab and the waitress looked like she was uninterested and would have rather been somewhere else. I was going to get food too. The pics that were taken looked really appetizing but I just needed to get out of there. It just felt depressing. I understand this may have been an off day guaging by the other ratings but this wasn't the best first impression. I may try going again on a different day/different time. I'm willing to give it another shot.

The food was definitely pretty good. We walked in on a Sunday Football lunch time, around 2:00. Sat right away and got a round of waters, to which we immediately ordered two apps. The guacamole with chips was perfect and the pineapple teriyaki wings were so friggin good we should have ordered more. Unfortunately when two of us ordered the You're My Boy Blue Burger (comes with blue cheese, bacon, caramelized onions and jalapeños) we received our burgers missing bacon and jalapeños! The other unfortunate part of this, was that we never saw our waitress once. So there was no room to ask for the missing ingredients unless I got up for a second time to ask someone to come over. I was also a little put off by the demeanor of the bartender when I asked if we could get our waitress. The man who ran the food was INCREDIBLE. I’m not sure his name but he saved the day by just being him. It’s not a good look watching the servers hang out at the bar and ignore their tables. I understand the laid back vibe and the pub style sound with the games on all TVs should be relaxed and enjoyable but being completely ignored was just a difficult thing to fully enjoy. As an industry employee we obviously would never skimp on a tip, we did leave more than 20% but made it clear to give half to the food runner (who honestly could be the manager, if he isn’t, he should be) Over all service was horrible.

Slow service, rude wait staff (I was chewed out for not leaving a big enough tip, for the less than mediocre service I received - waitress then changed the tip amount charged to my credit card) Illegal practices going on here. Your standard dive, but given that it's NYC its easily replacable in a place where fraud isn't committed. The server named Rose increased her tip since she was not satisfied with what I left her.

If you sit by the window at the bar, that's where you see the Ice bin full with Ice for all Drinks. That's the same Ice they stick all the dirty beer bottles and cans in it, while they making all other drinks! Never exchange or clean just fill up til it falls out on the floor. Wonder Health Department OK with that. Same Ice for cooling dirty bottles and drinks in a Glass. Eeew!

Only a one star review because I can't give zero. They deserve negative zero. First, I ordered a drink and they sent it to the wrong table. Second, I ordered chips and guacamole for the table, the waitress arrives with chips and salsa and says "Sorry, we were out of guacamole!" Uh, no. Who pays $8 for chips and salsa? I told her to take it away, but I was nice about it. The drinks were strong. The manager comes by and says the chips are now on the house. Awesome! Okay, then she comes back, saying she's sorry, but she'll change the tonic in my drink. Uh, what? Wrong table again. My friends and I laughed about it. Whatever. We keep drinking. We ask for water, it appears after the third time we ask. Okay, my friends and I laugh, they're busy, whatever. We get the check. We all put our cards in, and the waitress takes it away. She's gone forever. She comes back and says she's sorry, she charged one card twice, but they voided it and the charge will disappear in a couple of days. My friend checks her account, says it's her. We notice that the chips are also on the bill. We tell the manager, but we've already paid, so she offers us a free round instead. Cool. We drink, say thanks, laugh about our lousy service, tip the waitress $30, and leave. Later, I check my account. The waitress has charged the entire $150 bill to my card in three separate transactions. That's not swiping one card twice, that's swiping two cards five times. I feel like I was pretty nice about the first four mistakes. But now I'm pissed. I almost feel like this couldn't be an accident, like the waitress preyed on me and my friends or something. Now I have to go all the way back to the bar tomorrow. May this bar rot from its foundations. The arms of the wicked shall be broken their sword shall enter into their own heart and the wicked shall perish as the fat of lambs, into smoke shall they consume away. As a person who hangs out a lot in bars around NYC this place disappointed me charging 14 dollars for a cheap house wine that I can get the bottle for 10 dollars at any wine store. Overpriced for the quality.

I was very excited to hear about an IU bar in the city. However, I was extremely disappointed in Reservoir. Not only were the servers extremely rude and inattentive, they threatened to take away our table if we did not order food and drinks, which we fully intended to order if the waiter ever approached our table. I felt like I had to eat and drink faster and more than I wanted in order to maintain my spot in the bar for the duration of the basketball game - we got dirty glares from the waitstaff as soon as our plates were empty and our glasses were half full. I will not return here and would not recommend this unpleasant experience to anyone.

Terrible! Would give 0 stars if I could. Rudest bartender ever! Nowadays most bars are closing early, specially in the beginning of the week. Walked in and asked if they’re still open, just in case they already did last call and were just letting their customers finish their drinks. The red haired bartender turned around, rolled her eyes and answered “? Yes? Dont you see all these people sitting? otherwise we wouldn’t be here. What a question” I work nearby and would definitely be a regular if the staff weren’t ridiculously rude!

Terrible and sassy customer service by the bartenders. I legit don’t recommend anyone having a drink here. My group asked for a particular liquor and they said they didn’t have one when we are clearly all seeing two bottles. Very bizarre! We walked in around 8p. We weren’t too drunk or anything like that to be too annoying, you know. I get that drunks walk into bars and act out of control. Trust me, we were not. They gave us attitudes, especially the short redhead bartender. I believe her name was Sarah. I hope she was just having a bad day, but if it was my business I would have a word with her. Not ok. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else nearby. There are tons of options!

First time I leave a bad review on a bar. We came here for a birthday. Unfriendly staff. They turned off the light on our table so we had to move then we tried to use the jukebox which never played our songs and didn’t get any refund. We were then asked to leave 1h before the closing of the bar.

I had a very disappointing experience during my first visit and unfortunately, I cannot recommend this establishment to others based on how my situation was handled. I ordered a few shots and then requested a Don Julio Reposado. When the drink arrived, I immediately noticed it did not match what I had ordered—Don Julio Reposado has a distinct amber tint, but the drink I received was completely clear, resembling a blanco tequila instead. I politely brought this to the bartender’s attention, expressing that there might have been a mix-up. Rather than addressing the issue calmly, the bartender became defensive and escalated the situation unnecessarily. Her response was aggressive and unprofessional, even going so far as to say, “I’ll pour the fing drink in front of you,” followed by telling us we could “fing leave.” What concerned me further was her repeated claim that “this is my bar,” which seemed to be an attempt to deflect accountability. Regardless of her position, no staff member should ever treat customers with hostility or refuse to address a reasonable concern. This level of hostility is completely unacceptable in a customer service setting. Whether it was an intentional substitution or an honest mistake, the way it was handled showed a lack of respect and professionalism. For management’s awareness, the bartender in question was a white female with reddish-orange hair. I did not catch her name, but her behavior left a very negative impression and significantly affected my view of the establishment. I hope this review encourages the management team to look into the matter and consider better training or accountability measures to ensure customers are treated with courtesy and respect. Also forgot to mention she claimed this was "her bar" obviously it's not her bar maybe the owners but that can also lead into something else maybe a relationship between to too

I've come here for years as I used to work at Coffee Shop. Who ever was the "bouncer" last night pushed my partner physically, after following us outside. We hadn't been drinking as we just left the cinema so it was all very unwarranted. Maybe he was just a rowdy patron but you would think a bar that's almost closed many a time would take care of their guests.

They have awful cable service, and every game on the TV is minutes behind the live feed. When I pointed this out to the owner, he flat-out said he didn’t want to bother trying to fix it! What a joke of a “sports bar.” 😂 If you actually care about watching the game in real time, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Apparently, AZ IDs aren’t accepted here! Traveling in a group from another state is “suspicious,” and apparently people don’t travel anymore! Guy at the bar told our server (our server was great mind you) to stop serving us because we looked too young or something. Only serves people 50+ (SENIORS) I guess. Way to lose paying customers and tourist business (which I’m sure is most of your business anyway!). Guy made comments about us being from AZ interrogating us on our addresses and saying “there’s nothing to do in AZ.” Are people not allowed to take trips? Can people not have IDs from other states? Waste of time. Waste of money! Go somewhere else.
