Absolutely loved my experience at Soba Totto! Excellent service, chill vibes, and delicious food! Tried cold soba for the first time and was not disappointed. Highly recommend the 5-tier New Totto Soba! So fun to eat and great to sample several dishes. Will be coming back :)

very varied menu with many options for trying an assortment of things (eg sashimi platter, yakitori platter, soba combo). I had the new totto soba (4 different types of soba and 1 plate of tempura) and it was delicious!

Soba Totto in Midtown Manhattan is an izakaya that serves Kyoto-style handmade soba, yakitori, sushi, and much more. Their traditional Japanese decor and private seating make it feel like a hidden spot in Kyoto. Wonderful staffs here provide excellent recommendations for an amazing authentic Japanese meal. Their 5-Tier Soba allows you to sample different styles while the Ita Soba provides a generous portion for traditional tasting. Their yakitori is juicy and flavorful too. You must try the limited PORCHE ramen with a 10-hour chicken broth that’s on the next level. Pair with their refreshing Chuhai cocktails which is like soda but with a kick. Now don’t skip dessert. The parfait and Mont Blanc ice cream are the perfect finish. Come try Soba Totto right now and see for yourself!

Very good experience. Lots of selection. Tried the sushi, which was interesting since it’s on a spoon. The yakitori was tasty and the chicken was filling. I especially liked the don rice bowl. One of my favorites with the chicken and egg. Food was served fast and fresh. Servers were very attentive.

Wonderful Japanese restaurant. Located nearby the UN. Very delicious soba noodles. My son and I got the Miso Cheese with crackers, the Washugyu wagyu on a stick and the Octupus Balls (Takoyaki)…..all were fantastic! For our entrees we both got the “5 Stack) which is 4 different trays of different soba noodles along with a try of Tempura. We enjoyed everything except the salmon roe one, but we are not huge fans of salmon roe anyways.The soba noodles are wonderful here! For dessert we both got the Matcha Parfaits which totally put us over the edge and we left stuffed. Great restaurant and friendly lovely staff!

This is a very quiet, relaxing place to eat some real Japanese food. It feels and tastes exactly like the food I ate in Japan. Its nice to eat here once but after that you dont really need to experience it again and again. The service is excellence and you can tell there is a high level of attention to detail in everything this restaurant does.

It wasn’t as nice as we were expecting but it was alright. The food tasted decent but the price felt high for what it was worth; the portions were on the smaller side and there was barely any meat in my niku soba. I also barely touched my cherry blossom cocktail, as it tasted like a party drink rather than a well balanced cocktail. I’d recommend getting sake instead. Overall the two sobas and one drink didn’t feel worth the almost $100 bill (incl tip) we paid. But the restaurant itself wasn’t bad. If you do go, you should use the discount on my profile to make it more worth your money.

I would not come here. My food took 30 minutes to arrive, and the atmosphere feels cheap and stale. For $30 my bowl of hot soba was average sized, which I would’ve been fine with if the service and atmosphere made up for it. Spend your $30 elsewhere with a better ambiance and hospitality. The bar for single parties is positioned really awkwardly, the lighting is stark, and you’re just staring at a wall and a sparsely decorated open kitchen hibachi area. All the servers were nice enough, but mine did not check on me once but stopped to chit chat with this guy next to me at least 4 times. Hospitality flop. Not to be rude, but I basically know this guy’s whole life story now, thanks! Wild!

Never again. Was going to Sakagura, then saw the Michelin guide tag and got curious... big mistake. Tried the lunch set- price was okay for what you get but flavor was super average. Service was terrible, and food took forever. Wouldn't go back.
