This is always my 1-2am stop, every time I'm in town and in the neighborhood. There's always a decent crowd, good music and cheap drinks. It's always made for a good time! Definitely recommend having a few drinks prior to stopping here, to really be in the mindset and to have a good time.
One of the best happy hour places in the city, Hands Down!! Half off the whole bar(except LI Iced teas) during the week 11-7. Beer pong and darts are available for your entertainment. Can get real packed later afternoons and by the end of the work week. Never been on a weekend but if with all the tvs around the bar and else where, great for sports watching.
First if anyone knows me, Tater tots rule so the fact they were cooked individually makes it great. Beer tasty and service great. My old hangout is a great place to eat drink and hang
If you’re looking for a spot for football, you’ve found it. Salute to Meg for taking great care of us, Mahoney for the epic metal playlist during commercials and Danielle for the good vibes. Also a great place for Rangers games and salute to Jenna and Maddy (even though she’s sadly an Eagles fan) for holding it down for our group.
This place is amazing. I attended a friends birthday last night in the private room and the staff was so helpful and laid back. They helped us set up for the party without asking. Our bartender was awesome. It was cool to see her working on her birthday. I'd definitely recommend this place. I don't write reviews and I'm doing it now. So yea they left a great impression on me. Thanx again to the whole staff.
The Stumble Inn is a great spot for hanging out with medium to large groups of friends. It comes with a very well run beer pong area and has a fine selection of drinks. Food is good and probably better as a place to get finger eats, rather than full meals. The staff is extremely friendly and well-mannered, treating customers with care and appreciation. I've been here a lot and it's almost always a positive experience.
This bar is so much fun! Theres tables to play Bier pong (and other games), there's desiring booths, of course your typical bar and just an all around fun ambience. Friendly staff. Quite good location. A pitcher of beer is only 14$ which is very reasonably priced! And right next door is a karaoke bar so if you're having a good time and wanna do some singing with your friends shimmy on over!
Thank you Stumble Inn for providing me and 50 others with an awesome post half marathon spot to mingle and celebrate! Everyone paid on their own tab and I was so impressed how attentive the service was and how quickly the many food/drink orders came out. This was the perfect spot for us. We will be definitely hosting another event there in the future!
Great place to watch the superbowl!
A whole vibe!!! Packed but a great atmosphere
Six of us came in on a Saturday around 1pm and it was not crowded. I was delighted that it was happy hour and got 1/2 price beers. We got 5 stuffed burgers and a chicken Caesar salad. Burgers came with a choice of tater tots, fries or onion rings - all were very good, handcut. The burgers and salad were great and the service was excellent. Prices were typical of Manhattan. No complaints here.
This place and the people here are a vibe. Max was my bartender he’s the best! Drinks are great. Food is great. Affordable! Definitely a must try.
Awesome bar. Amazing food, reasonably priced drinks even before happy hour! Open-7 every weekday, half price drinks. One of my favourites in New York. And gave me and my fiancè champagne for us and our party for free when they found out I had proposed that day. Good location too near lots of attractions, definitely recommend!
I love it here. The first time I went I had a blast. We walked in and stumbled out. I had fun with the beer pong table and the drinks are good. My bartender was nice and friendly. It does get kind of pack sometimes but you will still have fun.
It's a typical college type sports bar in the upper east side. Cheap alcohol so what can go wrong right! Beer pong in the back. Good food menu. And I can never complain about the wait staff. Always gorgeous young ladies whom are friendly and attentive. No matter how drunk you are.
Come here often for drinks and only recently tried the build your own burger. It was stuffed with cheddar and jalapeno and cooked perfectly. I was a huge fan of the onion rings, but would easily come back for the burger again. Also, you can't go wrong with their drink specials.
My favorite bar in the UES. They’re quick with their service. The drinks are always great and I really enjoy their food. Their appetizers and finger foods like the buffalo tenders and wings are super flavorful and their tater tots are amazing!! It’s always super fresh and hot. Music is always great here too. Good spot for a fun night out.
the bouncer is such a sweetheart and put a coaster on our drinks when he noticed we went outside to smoke 🥹💛 pickle fries were the best i ever had and the highlight of my month.
Used to come here when in was Moe's back on the old days. It's a little different, but it's basically the same vibe. Service was good and place was clean. Nice and spacious with a good beer and cocktail selection. Worth a stop.
This place was updated last year and it really shows. We enjoyed an outdoor table on a Sunday afternoon. We were in the shade and love the area was huge, great for groups or couples. Attentive and friendly service for the outside. Good variety of drinks and broad menu of food. Game days are packed, so come early and you'll need to sit inside, but plenty of room and tons of screens. Awesome people watching! As expected the crowd is young and boisterous late nite weekends. A great neighborhood bar. Enjoy!
We didn't order any food, but the drinks were on point and the service was great! The music was awesome. I had a great time
Great spot for your 20s if you live on the UES. Came here quite a bit when I was younger. They have beer pong and I’d say its a classed up sports bar. My friend met her husband here years ago. The food here is decent American bar food but nothing crazy. When it does get busy and really packed here the service can suffer and it can be difficult to get a drink.
This place has become my new football Sunday bar. Large crowds roll in every Sunday for the football games, and the environment is awesome. The service is great (the back bar bartender is awesome and she is extremely nice). Drinks are priced very well, with beers on tap and also $3 canned drinks which I have not seen at any other bar. The food is also great, I am a big fan of their wings. All in all, a perfect spot for the games and I would definitely like to come back to experience a night out here on a Friday or Saturday night. - - - UPDATE - I went here as well for a Saturday night out. The place was packed, had great music, and a really young crowd. This may be my favorite go-to spot in the city! Definitely work checking.
Always a good time! They have an attached private events room with it’s own entrance - highly recommend!
Favorite bar in NYC my dad and I go together every time we visit! Excellent food and cocktails, great vibe day or night!
Super fun for a dance-y night out! The crowd is high energy and the DJ is great. It's a younger crowd but not exclusively. I'll definitely come back earlier in the day to try the food, seems like a great spot to watch the game.
If you get a solid DJ, it can make for an amazing night of dancing! This bar is super fun for larger groups of friends too as there’s typically plenty of space. It also offers fun games AND they always have the most popular sports games on. It’s truly got a bit of everything! Typical Age Group: This group of bars typically draws a 20’s to mid 30’s age group, but leans younger than many bars (depending on the night). Cost: As mentioned above, this is one of the most affordable places to drink in NYC! Drink specials start as cheap as $3.
consistency, consistency - this place is always the best. I never have a bad time (knock wood); staff is friendly, bouncers friendly, feels like I am at a true neighborhood bar that has sufficient locals, plenty of fun and the music is loud and pumping. One goes to stumble for a good time to get nicely lubed up and enjoy the evening. Bar Food is good and it is what it is bar food. comes out hot and tasty. i cannot thank the staff enough since Ive been going there for such great evenings and many great memories; not to mention buy backs :) . my first time there was back in 2008 when they first opened; will be going there for many years to come...
Stumble inn...its great! No really. I love this place. The food is great and happy hour is even greater! The buffalo chicken nachos is a must try. I dont think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. It can get pretty crowded during happy hour hours so it's best to get there early if you want a seat. If not....the bar is always good to stand and order.
Ah, the Stumble Inn. How many times have I stumbled out? Let me count the ways. This has been an upper Eastside staple for at least 15 years. It's not much older than that. The staff behind the bar is as good as it gets. Alex is a not only a beauty, but she exudes charm, kindness, and professionalism as only New York city's best bartenders can. The food is above average bar food in it's preparation and presentation. Tonight I had the spicy stumbler hamburger. Note: all of their burgers are stuffed with their noted ingredients. In my case, it was stuffed with cheese and jalapenos. It did not disappoint!!! I had onion rings and they were huge and satisfying. The DJ was killing it, but, alas, I was out of my age element. Love this place!
Great venue for private parties. The best thing is that they have a private room you can rent, with its own entrance and bathroom, so nobody has to walk through your party. The catered food was delicious and the drinks were exactly as requested. They even lined up delicious shots for us! The staff was incredibly helpful too. Loved having my party here and highly recommend this place
Great bar. I am underage at the time of writing this, but my mother, cousin, and I were still able to be seated in the restaurant section so they could enjoy happy hour. The mozzarella sticks were pretty standard and had a delicious marinara. $5 "you call it"'s after 7pm on Tuesdays, so we had a fun time. They put lemons in my diet coke.
There are so many great spots to eat in the neighborhood but if you're looking for a reasonably priced bar that has a traditional New York sports bar atmosphere that draws a lively crowd, is full of energy, frequented by friendly locals and has inclusive and supportive staff (from the bouncer to the bartender), this is your spot! Whether you're sitting at the long bar counter on the stools or further inside at the nice tables set up to drink and share grub with a group of friends, large TV's are on and music is pumping in the air to really create a space for people from all walks of life to have a good time! Even though I'm an extrovert, this is not my usual scene! But I was invited by a friend and being the traveling soul I am, I truly enjoyed myself! Seeing so many people just enjoying life is what's important no matter the road and sometimes all it takes is just a little trip to somewhere new that can honestly give you that refreshing experience! Thank you for the time! I hope to pop in again another day with more friends and take more photos! I was enjoying the moment too much to take more!
That all American is a must try if you're into a bacon cheeseburger. Didn't have the onion rings, but I tried one, and they were delish; had a nice crunch to them. Vibe and Staff are chill. Sports friendly bar with plenty of room for a party which I believe they book there.
Drinks were good. Had the moscow mule and bloody mary and both were great. High quality and heavy handed with the alcohol Nachos were great, i wish it had more toppings (it was just protein and jalapeños) but it was delicious. Some fresher veggies like lettuce or tomatoes could really help Staff were nice. Waitresses and bouncer were good to us. I was approached by a random guy sitting at the bar talking to me and the blonde waitress working late night was watching over me and that was everything! It's everything a good bartender should do Atmosphere was good and friendly. Pretty clean space and washrooms. I wish the music wasn't as loud
This place is a gem. Good music, good food and amazing staff. Max is quite possibly top 5 bartenders I've ever experienced in my lifetime. It was great to meet you today Max! -Matthew & Gloria
Without a doubt the best bar in the city, the staff from the managers to the bartender's to the waitress to the security are the best you're going to find anywhere. If amazing drink specials great happy hours and a great environment and the rare thing about this place is there food is top-notch five stars
Francheska is the reason my friends and I keep coming back. Service is unmatched and I never have to flag her down when trying to get my next drink.
I adore this place. Great vibes, drinks, food, service, everything A+! Thanks Liz!💕
Opened at 7 PM. We got there at 7:14 and it was PACKED and they music was bumpin'. We sat at the last table available and a waitress came to get our order immediately. My gf and I split a chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries w a side salad. Portions were generous for the city and we left full! Seemed like a big party bar and we loved the energy! Wish we could've stayed longer!
Francheska was phenomenal waitress very attentive and kind. Will be back again. Would recommend.
Have lived in NYC for more than a year now and I always find myself coming back to the Stumble. Favorite bar in the city! Music is always excellent and the bar fills up. Drinks are reasonably priced and servers are fast and kind. Atmosphere is the best part. This is the hub for young people on the UES and beyond!
Big shootout to Francheska, she deserves the raise a 300%, she sees everything and more, very enjoyed the Knicks game tonight with great selection of beers ( 5$ draft on Wednesdays ), enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Big thanks to waitress ( Francheska ), she made even better everything! Cheers 🍻
Not only were the pours generous and the service attentive, the regulars in for the Steelers vs. Ravens game were delightful. I wanted to take a second to shout out the bartender Zoe for going the extra mile. Will be back when next in town.
wish they had gluten free options. always smells like strong chemicals. fun place
Had a perfect experience at The Stumble Inn for my child's birthday party! Meg was very easy to work with and staff were super accommodating. Highly highly recommend for any small party.
Happy Hour, indeed. Had the best time there last Thursday afternoon. Great bartender, drinks, and oh those onion rings. Can't wait to go back.
The Stumble Inn is a classic neighborhood bar and one of our longtime NYC go-tos. We’ve been coming here for years and it’s always the same winning combo: great pub food, generous drinks, and an awesome staff that remembers faces and makes you feel welcome the second you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and lively without being overwhelming, perfect for catching a game or getting together with family and friends. It may be called an “Inn,” but there are no rooms upstairs—just plenty of reasons to keep coming back.
Stumble has the best happy hour on the UES, no doubt. The atmosphere here is great in afternoon, and during quieter times it's a great place for a cheap drink and good bar food. Service can be a bit slower when they're packed obviously, so be patient with your hardworking bartenders when it's a busy night or weekend. The staff are always kind and considerate.
Max, the bartender, is one of the nicest and most welcoming people I've ever met. I was there with about 8 coworkers and he made us all feel welcomed. Max is one of a kind and we all cannot wait to be back because of him. Thank you for a great hospitality Max!
The DJs are top tier here. Definitely my favorite spot to go for weekend dancing. Outstanding vibes. Check them out!
I love to stumble in to this place. First of all the whole staff are great Hugo is the man! Maddie if funny and very attentive. Ashley is superb at her job as well before my drink is over Bam there the next one :D The food is excellent they got awesome happy hours daily must go to place.
I think this place has some of the best bar food. Cheap drinks and amazing wings - love it!!

Amazing bartender Max and whole staff was kind. Rangers ended up winning and overtime and every goal felt like you were at the game in UES
By day, your favorite hometown bar with good bar food. By night, a club atmosphere with great dj's on friday and saturday nights. The servers make the place, everyone is friendly and attentive. 10/…
Amazing burgerssssssss stuffed burgers is the best Omg will be back for more definitely told everyone about this place

On every Tuesday of the year, this bar has Grey Goose martinis for $4. What is fascinating about this bar is that every time I've been there, there are as many women there as there are men. That says a lot about the Upper East Side. Stumble Inn never plays the music too loud. I recommend this place very highly.
I’ve mainly been here for their Friday & Saturday DJ nights and I’ve always had a great time. It’s definitely your college kids part vibe type of place, lots of people in their 20’s just to have fun, dance and/or drink. Music is amazing, you get a variety of absolutely everything. The only downfall is that it does get pretty swamped in there, so watch your toes. And during the colder seasons it’s uncomfortable to be there since there is no coat check and you’re essentially walking around with your coat and bag, you could leave it hanging around but why would you want to do that?
Great sports bar but will get packed on The Weeknd’s. Drinks aren’t too expensive given its location on the upper east side.
Good vibes and good music. I had a really good time here. The bartender was extremely quick. The bar was packed, but I never seen someone's hands move so quickly. I was impressed.
I went here looking for a good burger, and they performed more than adequately. The stuffed burgers, while lacking some control over how they can be cooked (it's hard to make a medium-cooked burger when there are things in the center), are assembled well and deliver a good flavor; I found the bleu cheese and bacon stuffed burger to be juicy and warm throughout. The fries are not bad, either. They do not have much of a craft beer selection, but they offer most common brands. In terms of the atmosphere, most of the patrons are a younger crowd (often at the beer pong table), and while I appreciate that part of the ambiance, those searching for a quiet place to eat late at night would be cautioned... otherwise, happy tossing!
Clean bar. Decent drink specials and good wings. Helpful wait staff. Bouncer was kinda insulting the night I went... I was sitting near the door, and he'd sometimes be slow to see someone come in, ask for their ID, then look at them and tell them they were fine (judging the person to be 21+ by looks, probably accurately, but not being very nice about it). No one wants to be given the feeling that they look old.
If you want a place to be your version of a sitcom bar where you meet your friends every Friday this is your place. Best happy hour menu I've seen this far in NYC, not to mention the deals that they have after 7pm most nights. It's a great hangout spot.
The go-to place to just hangout with a group of friends for good cheap drinks in UES. I’ve been here several times with just other person and it was just as fun. The patrons are also locals from the neighborhood, so that’s nice. The crowd is one of the reasons why I kept coming back. I came here on a holiday one day and found some locals just hanging out, it was a good time. I miss this bar now that I’m not in this neighborhood anymore. I will definitely come back whenever I find myself in this area with friends.
Never eaten a dish here. But the nightlife on a Friday and Saturday night can't be beat as far as dancing goes especially around this area closest thing to a nightclub you'll get from a bar. Bartenders are attentive as best as you can especially when a place gets really crowded and it can get really crowded. But all in all it's the best place in the area to go to if you looking for a club vibe. Best to go there around 11:00 12:00 at night.

Easily the best wings in UES and one of the best in the city (I used to make thousands a weekend in my college days working at a sports bar in Syracuse). Surprisingly good food all around. Mostly a college bro crowd but still a good place to catch a game.
Went here on a Saturday night. Was insanely packed to the point where you had to push your way in whatever direction you're heading in. If you wanna be surrounded by sweaty college dudes and mediocre chick's so be it. My review is based on the actual bar and not the morons in the crowd. Great bar, awesome bar tenders, the other staff and bouncers were also really nice.
Pretty good place for casual happy hour. There is a 50/50 chance it’s a fun dancing bar on weekend nights. Bouncer told me after Halloween the bar doesn’t get much night attention until it summer again.
Went with a group. Drinks arrived quickly and the waitress was friendly and on-point. It's very loud inside, but everyone had a good time.
Still a solid spot. Stopped in for the 49ers v Eagles playoff game and it was a very fun crowd. They were playing game sound as well which was a huge plus. Sunday specials are incredible ($5 beers al…

realized the G&T was so reasonably priced because half of it belonged to the floor-- wicked crowded but the back area with the glowing purple tables is a decent vibe.
I ordered a burger “really rare” and it came out well done, so I sent it back. The second burger wasn’t much better. The bartender didn’t even bother to ask if the second was ok

Think it's definitely worth coming back but I didn't go inside ... I was outside and the stools were kind of comfortable but no padding ... They had grapefruit here which i guess is rare? Also the Jalapeno burger was amazing ... It was like inside the burger ... Only giving 3 stars because I didn't go inside because I believe the game section was closed and the waitress was a little slow for my table
Came in for a quick beer while waiting for dinner, and the bartenders were good. However, noticed about 6 staff members making tiktoks outside and ignoring their customers. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me and they didn’t seem to know how tiktok works as it took them before we arrived and we left before they were done. Good vibes tho
An amazing bar with a great vibe over three weekend. The service is amazing! However most weekends they are under staffed at the bar so be patient and respectful and they’ll treat you the same!
Note that it is advertised with pool and darts on Google maps, but neither are available to the public.
Decent neighborhood bar with a younger crowd. Good luck on the weekend trying to find a seat though! Burger was substantial but a tad under seasoned - though the jalapeño did provide a nice kick. Beer selection is average.
I was told a while ago to try this place because they had stuffed cheese burgers that were really great and so I finally did. It was ok. I tried the Second Avenue Stubbler Burger. I think the burger would have been good but unfortunately it didn't taste like it was seasoned at all. I'm not a salt fan by any means but this needed seasoning, salt & pepper at minimum on each layer for starters. The burger fell apart as i begun to eat it. I guess the cheese along with the mushrooms was too slippery and didn't hold together well. The fries were...well... fries. I will give this place one other try, maybe it was a fluke. Until next time.
Had a great experience the first time I went to the Stumble Inn; very fun and good dancing! The most recent time I stopped by, I walked up to the door with my friend at 1:45am and we were turned away. The bouncer said they were closed when there were people inside. The bouncer then proceeded to let in two guys immediately after us. We asked the bouncer what was happening and the bouncer reiterated that they were closed. A guy walked to the front and clarified that they close at 2:30am, but we left anyway. Very fun vibe, just be cautious.
My burger had zero seasoning while the side onion rings were incredibly salty… avoid the food and just stay for the beer and sports bar vibe.
I hate to say it but this burger is no longer in my top. Not sure if my taste has just changed or if the burger has slipped but it definitely didn't hit the same way this did 7 years ago.\n\nThe …
The bar was fine but the bartender was extremely rude and unpleasant to multiple individuals in our party without any cause or reason (not willing to elaborate on the drinks menu, being very short and only paying attention to her friends that came in etc.). If you don’t enjoy working with people, you might consider another profession.
Too noisy for my taste and the dj is not good. If you're looking for a place to chill and talk this is not the place. If you are looking for a place too dance music not so good either. Food is average, drinks pricey. I don't think I'm coming back

Foods good but don't come here unless you want to wait two hours for your food. Service is horrible.
I visited this bar August 24th, I had an original charge of 90 which was correct, two days later, I noticed an additional charge of 119.
Please do not let any of these other reviews fool you—this is the worst bar in NYC. The bouncers are completely inappropriate, aggressive, and rude. One of them threatened me and pushed me because I moved a chair to the end of the table (a simple verbal explanation would have been enough, not a physical altercation!) The staff is also incredibly rude—they ignore you the whole night and forget about your orders (they charged me $8 for diet soda…..). Overall, the drinks are okay, but it’s not worth the environment nor the vibes. There are so many bars in NYC, it really makes no sense to pick this one.
Very awful experience at this bar, racist owners, and racist bartenders as well. As a person of color I've had bartenders look right through me and serve white customers while I've been standing there waiting to be served. The sound system sounds like trash, the music is boring and quite frankly I felt a bit sick shortly after eating a cheeseburger I purchased there. If you are a prejudice white person that is your prerogative but when you are in the customer service business you better learn how to treat everyone with respect and dignity. I suggest the owners regardless of their prejudice upbringings train their staff and teach them what true customer service is!!!!!
I had a really disappointing, and traumatic experience here. The bouncer was extremely disrespectful, aggressive, and verbally abusive for no reason. On top of that, he kicked me out after stepping out for a phone call while my belongings were still inside including my friends who were sitting at our table with an open tab. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years. Instead of feeling safe and welcome, the whole situation felt unnecessarily hostile and extremely profiled. You should do better on allowing this low of humanity to work here. Here is a picture I was able to get of the man who ruined our night. Since entering the bar he had a problem and questioned my ability of being “okay”… For reference I consumed 1 alcoholic beverage of the night and rarely drink. Unacceptable do better….
If you are a person of color, do not visit this establishment. Other than the fact that most of their music appeals only to a yt audience, I, as a black man experienced blatant discrimination at this place. They overpack the venue and expect people to fit perfectly. Overcrowded. Overpriced. And NOT ACCEPTING OF NON- YT FOLK
