Opinions de Super Nice Pizza New York
Wonderfully cozy place with delicious salads and great pizza and the best tiramisu. The lighting is excellent. The service was so thoughtful, and everyone has such a positive attitude. It was a delight to be in your restaurant. We'll be back!
Absolutely fantastic food, drinks, and service! Perfect for an intimate date night, a night out with friends, or just some great food and drinks! We’ve loved the donut shop for years and we’re so happy the restaurant is just as wonderful (if not better!). We can’t wait to come back!
The pizza was absolutely delicious, the salads were fresh and flavorful, and the cocktails were fantastic. On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive, making the whole evening even better. Highly recommend!
Had a great time! Wonderful service, beautiful ambience and fantastic food! Brought family from Queens and they LOVED it.
Had a great time at this new spot - an excellent addition to the neighborhood. Already filled with an array of ethnic cuisine, having a down home but elevated pizza parlor is just what the doctor ordered. (But just don't tell my cardiologist.) The vibes are right, the lighting appropriately dimmed, the music at a proper volume, and the menu had more options we wanted than we were capable of ordering. For starters three of us battled between ordering the whipped ricotta vs. the calamari (calamari won out) and the caesar salad vs. the seasonal (we had our heart set on caesar). We had no regrets. LOVED the caesar - all 3 of us gave it a 10/10 (on an arbitrary scale meaning nothing and worth nothing). The dressing, the portion size, the croutons, the parmesan slices - all of it was everything you could wish for. It felt new and almost reinvented, but equally maintained the classic nature of the dish. I don't know how they did it - my proverbial hat went off to the chef (because I wasn't wearing a hat because that's rude to do at the dining table - call me old fashioned). Onto the calamari - for yours truly, it tasted right and the sauce was on the money, but I don't like the tentacles as much as I like the circles - and there was about 70/30 ratio of tentacle-to-circle. So it wasn't my favorite, but my two partners in crime LOVED IT and were obsessed - declaring it was some of the best they'd had in recent memory - to each their own. We tried 4 pizzas (gluttonous, I know). Two reds and two whites. The sausage, the eggplant (red) and the zucchini and the smoky potato (white). I'd recommend any that sound good to you. We liked them all. If I had to whittle those 4 down to 2 I would go sausage + potato and ultimately IMO the potato reigned supreme as it was the most unique...but at the end of the day I'm a red sauce guy so who can say for sure? We took a bunch of pizza home because our stomachs were about to burst and we had to create that little extra space in the back corner for dessert. So, yes, somehow we mustered up the courage and thank G-d we did, because the dessert was FIRE!!! (cue 3x flames emoji). We saw this enormous chocolate cake go by and we were briefly regretful that we bypassed that, but when the tiramisu and cannolis showed up we were in our happy place. I couldn't tell you which we liked more, but like well-balance parents who have two children, we adored them both equally. The Tiramisu was light and not over-espressed (if you catch my drift) but had all of the flavor punch and cream and balance you envision - great example of the dish. And the cannolis! What was happening!? There were these delicious (perhaps Luxardo?) cherries on each end that gave this amazing flavor burst with the filling. Then I started mixing and matching and dipping the tiramisu into the cherry sauce on the cannoli tray and my wife told me it was time for us to go...and no doubt we'll be back
New pizza spot in the neighborhood. From owners of Super Nice Coffee (donuts!). Please go enjoy this new place. In the former Spice space. Amazing elevated food and drinks. Chill, nice environment and perfect attentive service. Thank you SNP!!
Service was good; people who work at Super Nice are lovely. A bit noisy. Food was very good.
The best pizza place in Manhattan by far ❤️❤️ I had the Arugula salad & my husband had the Whipped Ricotta that both was incredibly delicious !!! Then we share the regular pizza that was thin & crispy OMG so yummy!! We were very full, but we couldn't skip the amazing huge chocolate cake dessert !! We will be definitely coming back!!
Everyone was super nice and accommodating. The food and drinks were DELICIOUS!!! For two of us we shared a Cesar salad and a pizza and we each had 3 drinks. The cost was very reasonable considering the quality of everything and how much we ordered. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. As a person who works in the restaurant industry, I find it hard to relax when I dine in. I found it very comfortable and easy to settle and relax in the space. Very excited for this business to blossom. 10/10 would recommend!!! (The pun was not intended… but it is now)
We had a fantastic experience at Super Nice. Everything was what I'd hope for in a restaurant: Great pizza- I loved the crust and ingredients; Friendly and helpful staff-shout out to Mariah & Jose; Wonderful ambiance-beautifully restored classic NYC building and tasteful decor. Couldn't be better-thank you! Mimi
We shared the vegan pizza and the arugula salad - delicious! The beer list is excellent too. Great neighborhood spot with a warm vibe. We will be back!
Amazing pizza in a super cute vibey dining room that makes you feel at home. We had the clam pizza and it was SO DELICIOUS! Will be dreaming about it. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Also, get the chocolate cake and you will be in for a huge treat :) Drinks are also so yummy!!! And they’re open late night! Music selection was on point! New favorite date night spot uptown :)
Thank you for such a lovely evening. Food was delicious and staff was kind and attentive. My cranky baby was well-received as well, which was so appreciated. Also, your team member that met me outside to open the door for me and my stroller-unforgettable.
This is the neighborhood restaurant I wish we always had. The food is always excellent (especially the meatballs—which many nights go quickly), and the neighborhood vibe remains great thanks to the top-notch staff. My neighbors have been gravitating towards Super Nice as our meetup spot and it is nice to have a local place where I would be happy to become a “regular.”
My mouth is still happy thinking about that meal. The way they've decorated this place stands out. The employees were flexible, supportive and pleasant. Their dishes represent what I consider perfect execution. This spot offers a delightful character.
Great place to have the whole day eating and drinking !!!! They have a small coffee place on the side !!! Great cinnamon roll!! Then at night yummy pizza and good cocktails!! And our favorite ice cream cookie !!!!! The BEST!!!!!!
Each visit is better than the last! Crispy caesar salad was perfect. Smash burger and eggplant parm were the best I’ve tasted. Knowledgeable servers helped me select new IPAs to try! Can’t wait to return.
Great experience! We had the meatballs, calamari, eggplant pizza, sausage pizza, and chocolate cake. (Kids ordered a few pizzas too) The eggplant pizza and the chocolate cake were amazing, and the other dishes were very good. For 4 adults (two drinks each) and the three kids, it was $200. The $22 chocolate cake easily fed all of us. Fair for all we got. Bartender was really welcoming and it felt like a neighborhood spot I'll want to return to!
VERY family friendly and DELICIOUS, from cocktails to dessert! My kids love the meatballs and pizza, and the cakes are always yummy.
Great place to eat! The staff was supportive and very cooperative to make adjustments in the food as per our dietary restrictions. Loved the pizzas.
You staff are so friendly and welcoming. We already love your doughnuts and hand pies around the corner and now the amazing food at super nice pizza. The clams and squash blossoms had such a perfect lightly fried coating. Not heavy at all.
You don’t get a dining experience like this very often. Pizza is worth the trip - exceptional. Wine is terrific. Vibe and service are excellent.
This place is awesome. Probably the best burger I've had in a long time. Super cute atmosphere and great service. We know their donuts so we were already big fans. Will be coming back soon!
Place that you both want to gate-keep and also tell everyone about- it’s just that good. Come for the clam pie, stay for the towering chocolate cake or the ice cream sandwich. Tell your friends but not your friends who are jerks.
I took my mother to Super Nice Pizza for Father's Day, and we had a great meal. The pepperoni pizza was on point. But the smash burger was the star; it was so delicious! It's basically a "super nicely" elevated Big Mac, and it came with some of the better fries I've had in some time. Huge kudos to the team! Our server Mariah was very helpful and sweet. We will be back for sure. 10/10. Highly recommend.
Agreat addition to the neighborhood! Relaxed and inviting atmosphere sets the mood for a delicious meal. The pizza is off the charts good. Lots of different toppings to choose from. The small plates/starters were varied and excellent, offering “ something for everyone”. Great cocktails, well crafted and super desserts ( the towering chocolate cake!!) turned the meal into a celebration. Put this in your dining out rotation, for a cozy casual repast to a celebratory chow down, Super Nice hits all the notes!
We love everything about Super Nice Pizza: great menu, great food, and warm, professional service. A super nice addition to the neighborhood.
Fantastic addition to the neighborhood - we’ll be back, and soon! Top quality pizza (crunchy crust, sweet and rich sauce - with this and then Mama’s Too just down the road, we’re becoming a mini pizza destination here in Manhattan Valley!), salads, and dishes (chicken piccata was among the best versions I’ve had recently). Great cocktails and interesting beer menu (good selection of Other Half, among other things). And all in a lovely and casual atmosphere. Easy to see us - and many others - becoming regulars.
This place is awesome. Vibes are incredible. Food is incredible. We came twice in one week it was so good 😂 if you can, save room for the chocolate cake!
Was there for the second time Friday night with my wife and another couple. Love the service and vibe here. The drinks and food were consistently excellent both visits. Fried clams (I am from Boston) were wicked good as an app. Our friend is GF and he had a steak with salad that he loved. We crushed a pepperoni pizza and a zucchini pie with a caesar salad. Dan, the owner, convinced us to have some GF,DF sorbet after dinner and we were happy we did, especially the strawberry basil. Just a lovely night out.
Had the best time at Supernice Pizza last Sunday. Went for the pizza, because it’s possibly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, but the Fish N Chips were out of this world! They have a fantastic wine by the glass list, and my friend had a strawberry spritz that was delicious. I wrote a review about our dinner, and the owner personally emailed me thanking me for coming in. In a city where you can dine anywhere, why not go somewhere where the hospitality is unmatched. Email from the owner is posted below. See you soon, Dan! heather- you're the best, thanks so much for the support. we're so glad you enjoy the place so much! fyi, the wines are all about to change over ... hopefully you'll really like the new ones! and...if you want to copy and paste this in a google review, we wouldn't be mad about it! :) either way, hope to see you again soon! -dan
As 99% of the reviews report, this smallish spot is terrific and a much needed addition to the somewhat anemic UWS restaurant scene. As advertised, the pizza is the star - not just delicious toppings, but a tasty, crunchy crust nobody leaves at the side of the plate. (We had the white pizza with zucchini and pepperoni pie.) Last visit, I had the burger - you wouldn't expect a pizza place to have a good burger & fries, but theirs is GREAT - currently my favorite on the UWS. Also, I'm a beer snob, and they have an unusually good selection, in cans. (Though some are pricey.) We'll be back!
I've enjoyed the donuts from the owner's bakery for years so I couldn't wait to try the pizza. It was even better than I'd guessed. I had the housemade sausage pizza. The sauce and sausage were especially tasty. The crust was classic NYC thin crust, well baked and crisp. I had the super nice daiquiri. Tart and made with faccia brutto aperitivo giving it herbal depth. A new twist on a classic drink. I can't wait to get back to try the enormous slices of cake and more of the original cocktails.
Went with friends and absolutely loved it. The ambience is fantastic — so different from other local spots, with a really special vibe. The food was excellent across the board. Highly recommend the whipped ricotta, the eggplant pizza, and the fried leeks — divine, divine, divine! We also tried the hamburger and fish & chips, both perfectly done - will definitely order again. Can’t wait to come back again.
Dan, Mariah and the whole crew are just pure magic. This has become one of our neighborhood favs. Coming to eat here is a whole experience that feels like coming home. Come for the Super Nice Pizza and stay for the Super Nice Vibes. This place is a precious gem, not only because of the delicious food, but the people who are making it all happen. Can’t wait for the next night out!
Super Nice Pizza NYC – Upper West Side Gem 🍕✨ Tucked away near Columbia University and Morningside Heights, Super Nice Pizza is a cozy sit-down spot that truly lives up to its name. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great mix of locals and students — the kind of place where you can relax over a glass of wine and linger in good company. Their drink selection was surprisingly impressive — from carefully curated wines to creative cocktails and even zero-proof options for those skipping alcohol. The pizzas were the undeniable highlight: perfectly balanced crust, cheese, and toppings. Every bite was flavorful, light yet indulgent — definitely not your ordinary NYC pizza joint. We also tried the salad, which was crisp and fresh, and the steak, cooked to a perfect medium, served with a generous side of fries and onion rings. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat any more, we ended the night with a huge slice of tiramisu — the perfect sweet finish. Overall, Super Nice Pizza NYC combines quality food, cozy ambiance, and a welcoming vibe that makes it easy to say: we’re definitely coming back.
I have been here at least six times since its opening and have enjoyed every single meal. Though their elevated pizzas are the main specialty, they have other menu items to satisfy most appetites. The ones I personally tasted so can vouch for them: clam pizza, smoky potato pizza, sausage pizza, and regular pizza, all the salads, calamari, assorted vegetable sides, burger with french fries, a decadent slice of chocolate cake, and the fish and chips which came with malt vinegar. I hope to try soon their big menu items such as the steak, chicken dishes, and pork chop. They also have a very well-curated beer, wine, cocktail, and non-alcoholic drinks menu. What sets this place apart is the warm, easygoing atmosphere and genuinely thoughtful service. I’ve been here with a big group (several times), for a quiet catch-up with a friend, and on a double date — and somehow it just worked each time. It’s the kind of spot that adapts without trying too hard. For our last visit on Sunday night, we appreciated that the restaurant allowed us to come in and order close to 9 PM the closing time and we did not feel rushed at all to finish our meal. Hope to be more of a regular, and hope that others appreciate this place as much as I do.
Great pizza and ambience – lovely neighborhood spot. We went on a winter weeknight and had no trouble finding a table. The cake slices are very generous portions!
I LOVE Supernice. The yummiest pizzas and salads and really inventive cocktails. Great atmosphere and really nice staff. A very cozy spot. So glad I found it in time for the winter months. I'll be back A LOT.
Great food; Great service. Our dishes varied from steak to pizza to salad...all very good. Delicious dessert too! Cozy & cute environment. We'll be back for sure!
OMG!!! I’ve never been to a restaurant where every single dish was exquisitely balanced and incredibly delicious!! I had the fall grain salad, smoked potato pizza, tomato olive pizza, whipped ricotta appetizer all incredible and the ice cream sandwich was Devine. Cocktails are delicious and hit the right balance.
Fantastic pizzas and do not sleep on the burger - legit probably my favorite burger I've ever had in NYC. I will say this about the cake - it is phenomenal but I think it's a little better at room temperature where the moistness really shines - it's good in the restaurant but definitely a little dryer because it's cold
Truly amazing. Pizza is great (evident from the smell of the dough) but surprisingly burger is one of the best I had in the city (more smash like) Great people too - too nice and they know how to manage kids
Good Stuff! Pizza is very good but other food is so, so good. Meatballs should be kept a secret. Order them with bread. The squash blossoms among the best I've ever had. And the fried calamari is textbook+. don't shy away from the pizza but but son;t let the name dictate. Great drinks too!
My husband and I sat at the bar for dinner, and other than being a little cramped (super lively on a late Friday night), we had a fabulous time. The service was fantastic and everything we had was phenomenal. Highly recommend the chorizo, avocado crema specialty pizza if they still have it when you’re there.
Love Super Nice Pizza. The food is excellent, always interesting. Wine and liquor choices are great. And the service is exceptional. An unknown gem on the Upper West Side. Highly, highly recommend.
I really liked the atmosphere of the place. Second time visiting. The Barman was pretty cool. Very chill and patient with us. The Barman with the V for vendetta tattoo on his neck and nice nails . He's someone who will lift your spirits if you're having a bad night .
Super Nice Pizza is THAT new thing! The staff are so wonderfully friendly and the atmosphere was so warm and inviting. The bartender is making some incredible and elevated cocktails. The Caesar salad was beautifully light, lemony, and full of flavor. The pizza has this perfect crispy crust that will not get soggy no matter what. Our table didn’t have an opportunity to let it sit very long, though. We couldn’t get enough of the delicious red sauce on the Regular pie and the Pepperoni pie added the spice and savoriness that took everything to the next level. Our favorite however, was the Mushroom white pie. That brings us to dessert which is where Super Nice has always shined. The tiramisu was exquisite with fresh lady fingers and an explosion of coffee flavor. The pièce de résistance to the meal however, was certainly the towering chocolate cake which was so indulgently rich but was light enough to make you want to go back for even more. And go back for more I will! I can’t wait to come back here to make sure I get the Clam pie and the Little Gem salad and for many more nights with friends at Super Nice Pizza.
We love Super Nice Pizza. The staff are indeed super nice and the food and drinks are always delicious! They were very accommodating to our 5 year old grandson's requests: lemonade and french fries. A win all around. !
Super nice pizza is…super nice!! Fantastic dough and crust - you smell the fresh dough as you walk in- kindly service and great food. It’ll be our new fave — We will be back!
Another enjoyable meal at super nice pizza. We started with the fried belly clams and stone fruit salad both very good. Where else can you find clam belly’s? We ordered fish and chips, sausage pizza, clam pizza and arugula and prosciutto pizza for the main course. Everyone was very pleased with their meal. We finished the meal with the coconut cake and their unique take on the ice cream sandwich. Wow! Kudos to the pastry chef. We will certainly be going back to this new gem in the neighborhood.
Super Nice Pizza... A Hidden Gem on the Upper West Side What an absolute gem, right in my own backyard! Super Nice Pizza captures everything that makes dining in New York magical. The atmosphere radiates a cool, effortless vibe, where every detail feels intentional yet relaxed. The pizza? Mesmerizing in both concept and flavor, perfectly blistered dough with that just-right chew. The menu surprises, the bar impresses (proper beer glassware; yes, they care!), and the lighting sets the mood beautifully: softly lit for dinner, dimmed and candle-glowed as the evening unfolds into something almost speakeasy-like, with an evolving soundtrack to match. We sat in the cozy window nook, comfortable, sexy, and alive with the joyful hum of people having a genuinely great time. The staff is attentive and warm, completing the experience. Kudos to the team and to Dan Cohen, a true restaurateur who’s created something truly special on the Upper West Side. _______________________ And just when you think it can’t get better; there’s an amazing bakery right next door. Don’t miss the authentic tiramisu or the crazy delicious layered chocolate cake. It’s hard to leave room, but do yourself a favor: take dessert home, pour a glass of wine, and enjoy an intimate, sweet ending with someone you love.
I love coming to Super Nice Pizza. The food is excellent, the space, is lovely, but what I think really makes it stand out is the superior service. Everyone I’ve encountered from the staff across multiple visits has been a joy to interact with. I especially love that they make children feel so welcome. It’s such a pleasure to go somewhere that feels so accommodating to my toddler while still being cool and fun. Such a great addition to the neighborhood and can’t wait to come back.
The experience was outstanding -the giant beans were delicious, the bread wasn't necessary but MAN did it add something special. our pizza was excellent and the cocktails and wine were some of the most unique I've seen in the last 10 years. Service was outstanding the gentleman who steered our wine and desert choices could not have been more thoughtful and professional, while still maintaining a casual approachable vibe. Awesome, will come again soon!
Had such a wonderful time at Super Nice Pizza! Dan and Mariah are wonderful and the pizza is amazing. We got the eggplant pizza, the crust is so good, which makes sense with their donuts. The meatballs were also delicious, as was the wine. We’ll have to get the chocolate cake next time, it was the size of my head. But this outing we had the affogato with chocolate gelato, it was phenomenal! Shoutout Zach at the bar too!
Every time my husband and I visit Super Nice for dinner, we’re always impressed. We went on 12/23 for my birthday and Zach and Mike were just so lovely. The drinks were delightful, the food was impeccable, and the free prosecco at the beginning of the meal was such a nice touch! Thank you, Super Nice, for continuing to be our favorite neighborhood spot!
Great food, great drinks, great service! Cocktail list was creative & thoughtful - interesting options for each spirit. Tried the gin-st.Germain-basil offering & it was balanced & delicious! Cesar salad - excellent! Exactly what you wanted, if you ordered it. Pizza (pepperoni) - really good! Quality ingredients, pepperoni was very flavorful. Crust cooked perfectly (a little crunch) & tastes great. Dessert - chocolate cake was...super nice! Also, the slice is giant, happy to have it for the next few days. & great affogato! Espresso tasted fresh & the vanilla gelato was so good! (Seriously, try the gelato!!) Over, really enjoyed my visit! I can't wait to come back!
Only had to eat here once to know it would be my most recommended spot in the area for anyone passing through, and repeat visits have confirmed it. Vibe is unpretentious, but nice. Great for a family dinner, friend dinner, date night, or even a solo dinner at the bar. Having tried many of the pies, I still keep coming back to the pepperoni - it's a classic for a reason and they do it justice. Leave room for a GIANT slice of cake at the end.
We are visiting from out of town and our local friends recommended Super Nice Pizza. It was such good pizza! Like, probably better than New Haven pizza in that the crust was light and perfectly charred. We had the clam pizza which was fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. They recently extended their hours so we’ll be back for breakfast or lunch in a few days before heading home. Highly recommend! Owners are also very friendly and welcoming.
Best Pizza on the West Side, TBH not sure it is even close b/c the dough is so darn good - great vibe, lucky to have it nearby! Salads and veggies are awesome and chocolate cake is not to be missed. Had birthday there and everyone loved it
Chocolate cake with mousse frosting was out of this world, better than any bakery. Tiramisu was homemade fresh and light. And that darn pizza was very, very good even mozzarella made in house. The pizza crust held firm. We had two salads and both had homemade dressing. I will be making this a permanent stop every trip to New York City from now on. PS: Charming evironment
Great food and great atmosphere. We really enjoyed both the pizzas we ordered and the chocolate cake. The cocktails were excellent and much better than we were expecting from a pizza joint. We'll be back soon! So happy to have Super Nice Pizza AND Super Nice Donuts in the neighborhood.
Great brunch experience and the pancakes are to die for!!!! So fluffy and delicious! We also had a chorizo breakfast burrito and it was enough for two and equally yummy! Service was excellent and the overall vibe was perfect for a Saturday brunch in the neighborhood.
We came to Super nice pizza by accident. We walked in to an enticing aroma and decided to stay. The pizza specials were outstanding. The ricotta appetizer was delicious. Our server, Jeremy, was knowledgeable, personable and all around delightful. His recommendations for wine and pizza were spot on. This place is new and we will definitely be back!
I took a friend for his birthday to super nice pizza located in the upper west side on Amsterdam. We had their potato pizza with onions and fresh mozzarella and their sausage pizza with some beer. The taste of the potato pizza was reminiscent of my friend’s mother’s pizza at home. The sausage pizza was fresh and probably the best pizza Ive had in upper west side in years. The service was fast and accommodating. They brought my friend a tiramisu cake and we sang happy birthday to him. Highly recommend!
Amazing addition to the neighborhood! This place feels cozy and neighborhoody. Our waiter was professional, friendly, and personable :) Service was super quick. Smoky potato pizza was GREAT, with the tomato and olive pizza coming in second. Caesar salad was divine (not drenched in dressing — important!) and came in a fun sharing portion. Would be great if they had pizza knives. Coming back soon!!
WOW! I dream of great eggplant parmigiana and found my answer with Super Nice Pizza’s eggplant parmigiana sandwich!!!! It is truly stuffed with eggplant smothered in the most delicious tomato sauce. The sandwich is huge!! As I was starting to leave, the aroma of baking chocolate drifted through the cafe. A woman sitting near me and I started talking about what smelled so wonderful. It was their chocolate cake baking and of course I now had to try! Wonderful surprise! Our server, Sofia, was the bonus to our visit. Sofia took great care of us with her friendly, warm, and inviting style. Also made a great latte! She made us want to come back! So glad I discovered Super Nice Pizza at the beginning of my NYC visit as now I can return again before I go home to Chicago!
Having had their doughnuts, we were curious to try their pizza. Prior to making a reservation, we looked for pictures of the food. After seeing the clam pizza and the towering slice of cake we were sold. Not only did the clam pizza and coconut cake exceed expectations, but we were also impressed with all the fine details, from the flatware, earthenware plates, to the beer glasses and everything in between. The feel of the restaurant with the exposed brick and half curtains in the windows, was like something you'd find in the Village. The service was quick and polite and they took time to answer questions about the beer and the dough used for the pizza. This is a wonderful addition to our neighborhood. We'll be back with more of our friends. Congratulations!!
Best pancakes in the UWS. Got the chorizo breakfast pizza and burger and also wonderful. Can’t wait to try the dinner menu. Staff was welcoming, food came quick, and everything was delicious. Highly recommend
Super Nice Pizza has me in a chokehold. The chicken parm is unreal — cheesy, saucy perfection — and the Caesar salad is plentiful, shareable, and easily one of the best I’ve had globally thanks to that incredible dressing. The clam pizza? To die for. And if you somehow save room, the coconut cake is a must — freshly baked in-house, light yet decadent, with a salted caramel ribbon woven through the layers that takes it over the top. Come with an appetite because you’ll want to try everything. The staff is amazing, the owner is fantastic, and it’s truly the perfect addition to the neighborhood. Get there, you won’t be sorry.
Very nice pizza. Got the clam pie and the clams were fresh tasting and not overcooked. The dough was great. Very enjoyable. My friend got the vegan pizza with vegan cheese and it was actually quite nice. The chocolate cake is a must have but be prepared to share and/or take it home because it’s enormous. Space is open and sizable but it fills up
I have been such a huge fan of Super Nice Bakery -- and I do love pizza.... So imagine my delight when I learned Super Nice had opened this joint?? Some of the best pizza I've had in New York -- arguably ever. It's a shame I don't live in the area (or maybe its a good thing), because I'd be eating here multiple times per week if I did! Also worth mentioning that the beer and wine lists are phenomenal. Incredibly well curated -- hats off to these guys.
A lovely neopolitan pizza shop for the neighborhood. Pretty packed when we got there. Nice salad and meatballs, great sauce. Don't think I've had a clam pizza with whole clams shell and all before. The juice spilling onto the pie a bit. Nice sausage pizza and a huge chocolate cake to share.
We had an incredible evening at Super Nice Pizza. My wife and I have been obsessed with their donuts (Loganberry, Mango/Chile, Passion Fruit) and breakfast sandwiches on enormous croissants, and our close friends who introduced us to Super Nice, took us to dinner at the new pizza joint- IT WAS AWESOME! Mike took incredible care of us, giving us his recommendations for beer, wine, and pizza. We ordered the pepperoni and the sausage pizzas, with a delicious side of asparagus. Our friends started with the whipped ricotta, which was a different presentation and absolutely delicious. The founder, Dan, came by the table and spoke to us -he is a very gracious host who took the time to tell us about a few of the menu items. We finished the night with a row of berry cannolis- sent by Dan. Overall- we could not have started our week off better: a perfect neighborhood spot with great wine, beer, and phenomenal pizza. I’m sure this place will be very busy.
Space is open and sizable but it fills up
A lovely neopolitan pizza shop for the neighborhood.
Extra Super Nice Time every time we go! Love their focus on high quality ingredients and their professional & friendly staff. Their dinners have always been amazing so we tried their brunch. The fluffy pancakes with blueberry compote (light sweetness and a perfect hint of tart) was pure joy. My favorite was the breakfast pizza -beautifully creative and delicious with eggs, ultra thin potatoes & onion. I usually don’t eat the crust on pizzas but this was so perfectly crispy ( with the right amount of chewiness) that nothing was leftover. Coffee was good as well, so we’ll definitely add to our brunch roster.
I might be biased because the staff wear the same cute apron I have at home, but this is by far the best new-ish restaurant in the neighborhood -- we don't get to eat out much, but we've gone to SNP at least 4 times now. The pies are interesting and outstanding (clam and spanakopita highly recommended, if available), the drinks are well-made, and the vibe is super friendly and relaxed, while having a certain old NY bistro elegance. We just went for the new brunch service, which was fabulous -- I don't normally go out for brunch (so often a restaurant afterthought; I can make it myself), but the offerings at SNP are way beyond eggs benedict and very worth it. Shakshuka, chicken parm, and the breakfast potato/egg pizza all got raves. Get there pronto!
Visited several times since they opened, easily our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. So happy they opened here! Food and drinks are top notch, every dish we've tried is delicious. Service is warm and welcoming, every staff member seems to love working there. Great for a quiet date night, family dinner or a larger group. Owner is present, attentive and cares about every detail. We love supporting small, local, family owned businesses!!
We love Super Nice Pizza! We’ve been coming here regularly since they opened in 2025 and they never miss. We’ve love the pizzas (pepperoni is our favorite) but they are always changing up their menu and keeping things updated! They recently started brunch and the hits keep coming! Get the pancakes and the breakfast burritos! The staff has always been so accommodating when we bring our 10mo baby and always so warm and welcoming!
Born from the incredible bakery next door, Super Nice Pizza has grown into the local neighborhood spot that we all desire. The beer list is truly fantastic, with a huge selection of local crafts as well as an ever-changing and impressive wine list. The food is truly exceptional. I personally have not had a pizza crust I enjoy more, and the ever expanding list of starters and mains (the eggplant parm is perfect) has made it possible to have an entirely different meal each of the five times I have visited. And the baked goods for dessert are just unmatched (the chocolate cake, tiramisu coconut cake and key lime tart in the summer were perfect). Dan and the entire staff are friendly, funny and passionate - the type of people you want to support. We are lucky to have them.
Super Nice Pizza is Super Amazing. Pizza is amongst the best of the best; they should be on a top five in NYC list. Fennel salad was a great way to start, wine list is thoughtfully curated and affordable. Service is stellar. I will return and return and return.
As a longtime lover of Super Nice Coffee (which legit has the best yeast and cake donuts in maybe all of New York? SO slept on), I had really high expectations for their pizza restaurant. Glad to say I wasn’t disappointed. We got the meatballs, freaky leeks (which are leeks some onion ring style), and smoky potato. Everything was so flavorful, herby, and thoughtfully and inventively made. The staff are excellent at their jobs and so kind. Such a welcome edition!
Big fans of dinner and cocktails, and brunch is delicious as well! The berry compote on the fluffy pancakes is delightfully tart and fresh. The burger with the egg was perfectly balanced with a set yolk, and just the right amount of sauce and toppings so it stayed assembled til the last bite! Super nice
As a regular at their East Harlem coffee shop location, I knew Super Nice Pizza would be good, and my expectations were exceeded in every way. Not only was the pizza excellent (we got the eggplant and the smoky potato), but all the little details of the experience were executed with care. Our toddler loved it too. A new favorite!

Great brunch experience and the pancakes are to die for!!!! So fluffy and delicious! We also had a chorizo breakfast burrito and it was enough for two and equally yummy! Service was excellent and the overall vibe was perfect for a Saturday brunch in the neighborhood.

As many other locals, I love their bakery, however after my first time coming for pizza, I wasn't as impressed. The salad, chocolate cake, and cocktails were great, even some incredible mocktails on the menu! The atmosphere was good. The pizza however imo, fell a bit flat. I don't know if this is because it's not a style I enjoy, or if I just had such high expectations from their bakery, or if the price just rubbed me the wrong way, but ultimately I felt like the crust was a bit too burnt, not chewy enough, and the lack of sauce made the overall ratio of each bite a little off. I'll come back again soon to see if things have changed.
The food is delicious, I love the atmosphere and the servers are always very friendly and accommodating. The one thing that disappoints is that the food comes out in a random order. Would be good to get appetizers and drinks before pizza. I'll be back for sure.
Went here on a Friday alone to sit at the bar- got the last seat at 7 pm so was busy early on! Great sign for a new spot. Got a drink which was delicious (& strong) and the potato pizza which was divine— the doneness of the potatoes with the fresh herbs really elevated it and the crust was great! Ambiance is amazing and needed in the neighborhood- feels like a chic downtown spot which we need more of. Loved everything about it except the prices felt a little steep for pizza (but what isn’t expensive these days) and the drink took a little longer than expected but there was only one bartender and lots of orders. Will be coming back again and again!
👍👍 Thumbs up! Came in expecting pizza, but the **brisket short rib burger** completely stole the show. So good I came back *twice in the same week*. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and served with a huge portion of fries. **Pro tip:** Ask for the burger off the *secret menu* — it takes it to another level. Don’t skip the **calamari + cherry pepper appetizer**. They’re good separately, but amazing when eaten together in one bite. The **espresso martini** was smooth and well-balanced. Owner is hands-on and checks in on tables, which is always a nice touch. They also have a **rewards program** and offer a **birthday discount** (make sure your server scans your QR code before paying). Great spot for date night, friends, or family dinner. Would definitely return.
Above average quality that sometimes justifies the price. Of two specials ordered, one was worth the price, the other was not. The ingredients are tasty so there's an underlying quality that you won't get at an average pizza joint. And the service is stellar. But it's possible that the flavor combination just doesn't work. This is one of those places where one should try a variety to maximize the chance of a delicious find.

Service was really bizarre—kept trying to clear out plates as we were still eating off them (and we were there for well under an hour). Hard to get drink refills. Sort of disappointing. And the pizza was decent, but not worth the value. ($27, which is way above the norm for the area for pizza like that).
The service was so slowwwww. I think we waited some 15 minutes for the drinks and they weren’t prepared per the request, so another few minutes to get it right 😭 then the food, THE FOOD!!! It’s took some like 45 minutes to get the food and oh no, please DON’T get the fish and chips. The waiter said: that’s so delicious. Me eating the fish and chips🥴🥴🥴 then the constant is everything okay? No fool. You took forever and it’s not good? Why you asking? If you can’t handle multiple orders and crowds, DON’T OWN A RESTAURANT!! Bye Felicia👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽
