The baingan bharta curry (smoked eggplant) was delightful and full of flavors with right amount of spices served with fluffy basmati rice on the side. The garlic naan was hot and crispy and held together when coupled with curry & rice. Vegetable samosa was perfectly fried and the sauces were light and tangy. My friend ordered a soup and lamb saag and shared positive reviews. Attentive and friendly service. We arrived at 5:30pm and the place filled up quickly. Would definitely come back when in the area!

Delicious! Service was great. Their spice level for the chicken tikka masala starts off mild, so if you like more spice, ask for medium or more. Highly recommend the garlic naan as well - some of the best I’ve had.

I was excited by the reviews and they didn't disappoint. A cute little corner restaurant, cozy and tasty. The staff were really friendly and each dish we ordered was fresh and light. The Navratan Korma was not as heavy and oily like most places I've had it and the rest in my party enjoyed their meals as well stating the same. Will be back again!

SERVICE, FOOD, AMBIANCE! I am surprised how friendly service is despite them being understaffed. Food was amazing and the portions were so value for money! definitely a must go!

Both delivery and dine-in experiences were extremely good! food and service, thumbs up 👍🏽 We were able to taste the freshness of the food, we could tell, food is fresh made! and the ingredients are also very fresh! juicy but not soggy, tasty but not dry, crispy but not bland. So far, best Indian food in town.

4.4 stars. Solid choice for casual dining on Friday evening, esp if you haven't made a reservation. Large portions. Our party of 4 arrived around 7:20pm with 2 bottles of wine (it's a BYO) and was seated right away. We ordered 1 samosa, 2 orders of papadum, tandoori chicken, veg korma, coconut chicken curry, chicken saag & garlic naan (plentiful rice was included). The food was tasty enough (hard to really tell as we had to order lower than normal spicy due to a child dining with us). We were surprisingly stuffed - the portion are larger than most Indian restaurants and we actually did not finish some of the food. The prices are competitive but considering the other aspects, I would definitely return. Mar 2014. Update Feb 2025: back for their set lunch, which includes some curries with veg of the day, lentil, rice and naan. Good and filling.

This place is nice but you guys close in the middle of the day where people are usually grabbing lunch. I would close the shop partially for break half of the team on break and other half helping customers. Hope you guys work more on that because you will lose customers.

WORST service ever. We waited for 50 minutes before I had to find the waitress and tell her that we haven’t received our food. She did not apologize and just walked away. The worst service ever. It was just me and my girlfriend and our order was the most basic order. This is one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant.

Me and my roommates have been ordering from anar for a while and the way they treated us today is beyond unacceptable and so disgusting. There was hair in my food today and since they are just 2 blocks away from me I asked them if it was possible to resend just that item. They said it would be at mine in 15 mins and 45 minutes later it still wasn’t there. We called and they didn’t pick up (online it also said closed). My boyfriend then went to go talk to them and pick up our order and they refused to open the door. The server/host sitting inside purposely ignored him. This is beyond unprofessional and safe to say they are never getting me or my friends business again

i have tried getting food from here thrice. each time, i was deeply disappointed in its quality and taste. The veggie biriyani was simply awful and i had to dump it. high in sodium and overcooked veggies. they also charge for green chillies which is free in every other restaurant.
