YES! So many choices and every counter service employee is pretty nice & attentive. I've gotten the sushi burrito from Hai (very good) and the thai curry from Bangkok Bar (good for it being quick service). It's pretty packed around lunchtime on the weekdays but you definitely can get in & out on your lunch break with a few colleagues and all get something you want. This is where you go when you're not sure what you want!

Food court with wide variety of foods ,treats, drinks: tacos, pizza, sushi, Indian food, etc... Tables and stools for indoor and outdoor dining available. There was staff circulating, cleaning, and security on site. Atmosphere is clean, fair noise level, hand sanitizer available, well lit.

Kirsten Black

Great selection of vendors with delicious food. On this visit I went to Mr. Bing and got a kimchi bing. So good! I've also tried Mayhem Sandwiches and Kuro-Obi among others and had great experiences with all. I like that the vendors change periodically so you can try new things!

Amazing atmosphere during happy hour! Alot of food options: healthy, comfort food, or international. Prices are kinda high depending on what you eat. New resteraunts popping up all the time.

The go-to choice for breakfast! Whether pancakes, doughnuts, breakfast burger, smoothies and smoothie bowls, oatmeal... The variety of shops is great. Toby's Estate has the very best coffee in town! The coconut and hibiscous are delicious! Btw: they also have a big savoury selection for lunch and diner...

Absolutely fantastic. Incredible variety and the portion sizes are huge. We loved it so much we spent most of our vacation eating here because the food was so good. I had something different every night and my fiancee fell in love with the Mexican place La Palapa.

Artur Guerra

Lots of different types of food and drinks. You sit down in a central plaza.

Great food choices. Extremely bad acoustics and it makes it louder than it should be.

I feel lucky to have found this restaurant when I did. Their menu was mundane and expected. Their team delivers excellence regardless of customer numbers. Their location makes sense. The cost makes sense after you experience it.

There is something for everyone in this place. Very live and vibrant atmosphere especially on week nights. Three is a diversity of food and good toes to try from and they rotate so you never get bored. Boies and sandwiches are notable highlights as thru lend themselves well to locations like these.

J

Other than having no place to sit it is a great dining experience! I recommend going early or late to avoid the crowd. They have a nice Toby's Estate Coffee at the back to finish up your meal with a coffee.

Clean reasonable prices. I ate Sushi from Bento it was good, But I've had better. Edamame 🫛 salad was tasty and pork dumplings were amazing too...

Great food court. Lots of options. Crowded during lunch hours during the work week.

A

Good selection of eateries with a lovely atmosphere, but very limited space. Tried the Greek stand here which was great. There is a selection of different foods from Gyros, Bao Buns to Tacos. Space is very limited and we just took the food away to Bryant Park, a short walk (few blocks).

י
יוסף אביב כהן

A restaurant center inside a building, many possibilities for food, everything looks inviting and tasty, the Greek is recommended. Go for it..by the way there were seats at least when I visited.

J
Judith Vasquez

The taste of everything I ordered was spot on. This place creates a following naturally. I'm scheduling regular visits to try everything they serve. Every employee was authentically friendly. We feel satisfied with our dining decision.

Great place to get lunch if you’re by the area either or work or fun. There’s lots of choices, and especially a lot of Asian food. The portions are good for the price. I got Dan Dan noodles, and it was a lot so had leftovers after. It was very good!

D

There’s something for everyone. Whatever craving you’re having... mine was pizza, but it can be Whatever! BBQ, lobster rolls, sushi, just tea or a good beer.. it has it all!!!!!! Great market

I love any place where you can get food from so many different vendors. I always wish I could eat more. We had chorizo tacos from the Mexican restaurant and they were unbelievable. Great location near Grand Central!

J

This place is fantastic for a quick bite, multiple food options from some phenomenal restaurants at reasonable prices. Quirky atmosphere with lots of tables for seating. I had the ramen from Kuri-Obi, the noodles were legit and the broth was spot on. Definitely going back as soon as I'm in town again

Went there around lunch time and it was packed to the gills. But I didn't expect it to be anything less. Great choices. Tight seating. Your call.

Fantastic with a great choice of food, drink and service was very good too

Great spot for lunch and very busy and popular. Was hard to find a seat but didn't have to wait long to order food which was great. The cheeses Christ pizza from Roberto's was really good but if you're ordering for kids have them hold the black pepper. I had the salmon sushi wrap which I was really hyped for but really wanst that great. One of the pieces of salmon was chewy and the sandwich was missing something. My kid had a cheeseburger which was awesome and had that great charred flavor. We also tried the bulgogi cheese steak egg roll which was also just ok. I still give this place 5 stars for the variety and possiblity of repeat visits. I definitely want to try the chicken sandwich next

C

Wow! Californian coming to NY for the first time, and I have to say this place was awesome. Love the large variety of food you can get here, and all seem to come pretty quickly so lunchtime eats are good to go! Also like that some of the places serve alcohol for those evening visits. Highly recommend stopping in!

S

Cool place with lots of food options with quite a few fusion styles (Indo-Burmese, Japanese-Mexican). I had the duck bing from Mr Bing. It was a bit salty and overpriced but the dumplings were nice. Very fast service. Not many places to sit, more bar tables for people drop in for a quick bite to eat.

L
Lorin Warner

Great options and great vibe. Several unique options that are off the beaten path of your typical food options. This food hall has a great feel to it and a buzz from the moment that you walk in. It is clean, organized and spacious. A nice spot for tourists and New Yorkers alike that provides options for everyone’s palate and allows you to sit together and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere. A spot well worth the visit to understand the brilliance of a unique food hall.

L

The food is good, has some tacos with a spicy margarita. It’s a nice place to get some lunch but lines can get long.

R

Love this place. Was my first time here, and I am absolutely coming back to try more food! I went for the ramen this time, and it is simply THE best ramen ever. The walkway bit is a bit cramped when crowded, and it's incredibly crowded during lunch hour. We got there at 11am and by 12:30 we had to "excuse me, pardon me" our way through and out the building. Also, the poutine at the deli place isn't bad (but not quite up to Canadian standards). And the fact the bar has soju is something I'll remember for next time :)

M

The size of the meal quite satisfied. Bring me back to Huston trip.

Walked through here to see what it was. A bunch of food stands serving a wide variety of foods & drinks. Outdoor seating also. Will be back to try some food from Red Hook Lobster Pound.

S
Subuola Ojerinola

The place is easy to locate, it’s by the road and very close to grand central. It was really hard to decide on what vendor to go with or what type of food to get. I decided to try Bao fro the first time with Miani kitchen . I opted for the Cow and potbelly combo with spring rolls . Spring rolls was really good , and the dipping sauce was great. I did not quit like Bao , overall it not my type of dish. Customer service was great , got my food fast .

N
Nilesh Patel

It’s an upscale food court with booze. Lively convenient with outposts from some of the best casual food restaurants (ideal for grabbing lunch) in the city!

A
Abdul Rahim Abdul Rahman

Amazing variety of food and very chill and cheerful vibe. I had some korean pancake rolls and japamese takoyaki. Both were amazing. You get the food pretty fast. There are many seats too. The prices arent too crazy depending on which stall you go to ofcourse. Would recommend going here for a quick bite or even for a proper meal.

Got some great vegan food from Neat Burger here, and happy hour drinks from the Oyster place that actually had happy hour prices. Nice atmosphere and lots of choice.

The chef creates tastes that linger pleasantly in memory. They keep food descriptions clear and simple. Restaurant workers maintained service remarkably special. Their plates arrive stacked with food. A notably good restaurant experience.

Great place for dinner with plenty of variety—sushi, tacos, smash burgers, and noodles. There’s something for everyone. It’s also a popular spot for after-work meetups, thanks to the relaxed vibe and wide range of options.

L

Their vision extends beyond the plate to the entire space. The dishes here taste great. I swear, the employees are excellent, notably friendly, well-informed and immediately make you feel welcome. This restaurant provides positive mood and attracts nice people. This restaurant does more than required.

An European style food market or food court that has a variety of small restaurants within it. It is located in the iconic Helmsley building close to Grand Central Terminal. Food options include chinese, Mexican, American and many more, around 10 to 15 restaurant which serves cocktails and beers. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Lunch time could get busy.

Great food court / market with lots of options... There really is something for everyone! Loved the meatball sub from Brett's Deli. And there are two bars too with local craft beers. The whole place is not on the cheap side, but worth it....

S

Loved this place! They have amazing choices of food and it's a very open space considering New York. They have lots of shops to eat from and seating areas. The people are friendly and the food is great, though some of the food was judge-able.

C

Walked by the donut place — I don’t even like donuts but they were just so shiny and sugary that I had to step in and get one. So many options that I ended up going w the plain sugar one, which did not disappoint although it did mean I had a sugar rush that lasted for 2 days. You win some, you lose some but donut miss out on these donuts, even urinoir not a fab usually Can’t speak to the rest of the restaurants, they looked nice too eventhough these urban space spaces are always a little overpriced

T
Topher B

Nice food hall, so many good options. Everything we tried was good and we were thoroughly impressed. Not all the foods are ‘traditional’ and it is ‘trendy,’ however the flavours are there to make a trip to it. Waits weren’t long during dinner rush either. Go with a group, or order small and fill up on a bit of everything Urbanspace has to offer.

C
Caro Geffroy

The initial meal captured my loyalty. The environment here is wonderful, spotless, and staff are helpful. Service this attentive has become uncommon. The food combines fresh ingredients with great taste. I enthusiastically back care this professional.

T
Teva Ingrassia

The positives.... Great selection with multiple different kiosks and food varieties. "Something for everyone" kind of place. Full bar if you are so inclined. The negatives (for me, but might be a positive for others) It was crowded and loud. Not a place to go if you're looking to have a quiet conversation.

T
The Hunter

Really really really liked this place. Hit it up early on a Thursday. It was already hopping. I usually go americano but their single estate brew beckoned. Good but did not blow me away. Dough was limited in choices. One local walked up and looked at the selection and said 'what happened?' and walked away. The tunes were an interesting mix of funk and R&B. Definitely not lame. I'd kill to have this place near my home. Drop in and check it out. You wont be disappointed.

P

Loved the guided tour. I walk the grounds which are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. I live locally in Hyde Park and I've walked our dogs there for more than 16 years. The dogs thought it was there Mansion grounds, LOL

J

Crowded, noisy, variety, no need to wait, served quickly, prices above average, but the portions are huge.

M
Mike Zito

Food court located in the Helmsley building on 45th street and Vanderbilt Avenue. There are about 20 food stalls and cafes. Huge dining area with big screen TVs. There is also outdoor seating. And restrooms! I had a delicious cupcake and espresso from at the MM cafe.

Finding a venue that satisfies every craving can be difficult, but the selection at Vanderbilt Market makes it quite simple. I appreciated the streamlined experience provided by the self-serve kiosks, as it allowed me to browse the numerous vendors and order at my own pace. The atmosphere is bustling yet organized. If you are looking for the facilities, they are tucked away in the rear, past the smoothie and beverage stall. This market is certainly worth a visit if you are in the area and desire a diverse meal.

Reminded me of eateries in Europe. Between the two of us we had a burger, sushi, empanadas and washed it down with an old fashion. All were excellent. Definitely going back on our next visit to NYC

Vanderbilt Market is a fantastic spot if you love variety, atmosphere, and great food all in one place. It’s a vibrant, modern food hall filled with excellent dining choices, bars, and cozy seating areas. Whether you're craving artisanal coffee, sushi, tacos, or craft cocktails, there's something for every taste. The layout is clean and stylish, and it never feels too crowded even during busy times. It's perfect for meeting friends, grabbing a quick bite, or enjoying a casual night out. The vendors are friendly, and service overall is quick and efficient. What I love most is the great energy of the space—a mix of locals, commuters, and visitors, all enjoying good food in a comfortable setting. It’s also conveniently located, making it ideal for both solo visits and group hangouts. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a lively food market experience with plenty of bars and eateries to explore.

Ms. Yolo was the best place to eat! From service to quality of food!! Will definitely eat there again when I return. You can mix up your empanadas as the are marked in the batter so no guessing. We went back and ordered more!!!

This place is cool. Lots of excellent food options. Very clean and organized, and the people are friendly. Stopped here before visiting the Vanderbilt observation tour, and it was a wonderful stop for our family at four. We have two places like this in our hometown San Jose California, the San Pedro Square Market and the SoFA Market. We felt right at home! My daughter and I got sushi, my son got fried chicken sliders n fries, my wife got Indian, and we were all very happy.

I missed taking pictures of eclectic place. Lunch time and bustling with so many humans. I was in rush and made a quick stop for a pita roll from Pita Yeero. Classic Chicken Pita roll with sparkling water. Want to go back again !

This place stole my heart at first sight! Located just steps away from the majestic Grand Central Station, it beckons with its cozy atmosphere, perfect for meetings with friends or warm family gatherings. You can spend quality time here, enjoying a cold beer 'to go', especially considering their generous pitchers at incredibly attractive prices - starting from $19. And for sports enthusiasts, there's the chance to dive into the thrilling broadcast of a match. But most importantly, of course, is the view! Before you, like on a palm, unfolds the majestic Manhattan, with its soaring skyscrapers creating a unique urban landscape. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best places for a budget tourist in New York! The cuisine amazes with a variety of dishes, but my heart is forever devoted to this corner of Manhattan. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Stopped in randomly while looking for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised with the array of options! Went for some bao buns and loved the beef option. Lots of hoisin flavor and the cucumber / peanut crunch were a perfect combo. Would definitely recommend for a quick lunch or snack option!

Plenty of tables when we went for lunch on a Saturday. I love the idea that its not crowded so you can enjoy dining. A lot of option for food there’s Mexican, pizza, Indian, poke bowls, Taiwanese noodles, Japanese, dessert and more. We tried the Taiwanese noodles and its very good. We will definitely come back and try the other food option.

Vanderbilt Market was bustling today. The food hall was filled with people having lunch, drinks and camaraderie. Now there is more seating and lots of different cuisines to choose from. What will it be today? I went to have Poached Chicken Rice at Lou Yao Kee. I got a seat at a table and lunch was delivered. Assorted condiments gave more flavor to this dish and the cup of warm chicken broth was refreshing despite the hot weather outside. I sat to enjoy this without having to hurry out. Music from a playlist was enjoyable. At $19.38 this was a tad expensive for me but as prices have risen one cannot complain.

Florence Sumaray

A short distance from the Summit, I enjoyed the sushi place and the taco place. I got a bento box with grilled chicken and some mini salmon tacos. It was delicious but the small tacos are really tiny. I loved the spicy chorizo empanada and guac and chips froma the tacos place

Can’t decide on what to eat? Fighting over who wants what? Problem solved! Vanderbilt Market’s got it covered. With 15 different restaurants, you can choose from various cuisines, bars, sweets, and much more! They even have table service with the friendliest staffs that allows guests to sit comfortable at the table and skip the line. You can also tap a card on the table to orders seamlessly. Brings people together. We enjoyed tacos, pizza, and sushi along with a pitcher of refreshing beer. Service is quick and efficient with deliciously made food. Best of all, prices are fair and reasonable! Vanderbilt Market’s brings people together while enjoying drinking and eating. Stop by and enjoy time with friends and family!

I actually pretty love this place - for its convenience, spaciousness, efficiency in payments and service, variety of selections and clean environment. There’s Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, Indian, Korean, and the usual burgers, tacos and more. A nice commercial bar sits right in the centre as well if you are keen to have a pint of beer too. There are lots of seating areas available and also a nice cosy bakery located at the corner for a quick cup of coffee. Prices are slightly cheaper than the restaurants but fairly reasonable regardless. The layout is also decent; not too crammed and confusing. Alfresco seating also available if preferred. It’s just 3mins walk from Grand Central station.

C
Cynthia Smith

What a fun place to eat! There is something for everyone; however, the seating is sparse. And because it is not handicapped friendly, only four stars.

Z
Z O L U

A good execution of a market hall, however, somewhat dark. Lots of well curated vendors that have something to offer for all tastes and ages.

R
Richard Schagrin

Great food hall with over 20 different vendors selling all types of foods and drinks. We ate at Roberta's and Bob White.

C
Crystal L (CBoogieSings)

There's not enough variety and everything closes very early. Overall though it's clean and the food is good enough.

M
Millie Wong

Went during lunchtime so very busy, but still able to find seating for my friend and I. I got butter chicken with ricefrom the indian place, they were out of the Tikka masala chicken. $20 for plate and soda. Enough to be full, but the dish was very salty for my sensibility. Probably wouldn't go again. The Greek restaurant and sushi place had the longest lines, so I'd try them if I had extra time and not hangry. Good variety of choices.

M
Michael Fuller

An excellent food court a couple blocks from Grand Central. There are tons of options here - Korean BBQ, Thai, sandwiches, sushi burritos, salads, pizza, coffee, juice bar, the list goes on. The lines can get long during lunch hours but they move quickly. Most everything is pretty reasonably priced for the area. There's something for everyone here.

K
K. Elie

For what it is, in the heart of Grand Central station it looks and feels magical even for a native New Yorker like myself. The homeless however have a habit of being too close for comfort and MTA Police are the definition of useless even though there's 6 of them gathered mere feet away.

F
Fahad Osman

A really good idea that's rough around the edges. Having so many restaurants to choose from is a good thing, but not having enough people to cook for the size of the place, not having an easy way to let people know when their orders are ready, not having a way for restaurants without digital ordering systems to notify people in line if they are out of a dish are all shortcomings of a system that still hasn't ironed out it's bugs. The atmosphere is great, the selection is great. But temper your expectations with patience and your taste buds with tolerance for mediocrity.

E
Ekendra Lamsal

Various options for food and drinks, seating maybe limited during peak hours but definitely a place to eat and chitchat.

J
Jonathan Avery

Great food market close to Grand Central and 10 mins away from Times Sq, vendors to suit most culinary tastes and drinks from smoothies, coffee to IPA.

B
Bryan Lau

I had a vegan bowl from “plant junkie” that was fantastic, total 16.88. The space is nice and has an eclectic collection of foods, and the prices are what they are for the location. The turnover is fast.

A
Ashesh Goswami

An excellent place to grab lunch during work hours. With so many food vendors, you get different options to try on different days. Lots of vegetarian options are available. The place is usually crowded even at night, although some of the items get exhausted by then.

s
samantha

Lots of options to choose from, with a good variety. Choose Seamore's for a seafood Mexican taste. Fish tacos were great... couldn't get them down quickly enough. Kale salad was fresh, crispy and flavorful. Ceviche was delicious. Would go back if there weren't so many other options to try.

G

Urbanspace Vanderbilt is my new favorite place to have a meal or a drink after getting off the Metro-North train and before heading out for the evening. An interesting selection of foods and plenty of seating... I particularly loved having a real Japanese ramen available for dinner. I'm eager to try some other options. I used to eat in the food court downstairs at Grand Central but over time I found the food selections less than wonderful and the atmosphere in the lower food court is getting grimmer at commute time in the afternoon/evening. The urban space is full of mostly younger people and be forewarned: there is loud music playing and the place is not quiet! Still I thought it was great fun!

V
Vivi

Had an Indian Food and ordered it online 20 min prior to my arrival time. Apparently, they didn’t received the order on their machine so they had to make it on the spot. Btw, when I tried calling the phone number, the phone number is unavailable too. Lol what a joke. The curry was so watery and not creamy/buttery chicken. I now know better not to get it again. I expected at least decent Indian food… NOT. On the other hand, I bought donuts because how could you not. Looks delicious and taste delicious.

B
BusyB

Great place to stop if you don’t know what you are in the mood for. The variety is amazing! From pizza to poke bowls and amazing donuts for dessert! Only drawback is the seating. Place is always packed and there is very limited seating. Definitely worth the wait. There is something for everyone!

It's a nice place to have your meal at night. Variety of choices, reasonable price. I tried out for the pouched chicken rice, it's one of the Best I had in NYC, it's better than the one in Elmhurst and Chinatown ( the most famous one ) it's a bit pricey but the portion is legit I think it can share for 2 ppl if you have Smaller appetite and the other one I had it's the poke bowl, the salmon is fresh with lots of veggies too The desk is cleaned and not sticky at all. The ventilation is good too even we were sitting in front of the taco restaurant. It's nice to gather with friends and get some drinks

We were walking back home from shopping and stopped in to this food court by Grand Central to look around. Too early for our lunch but I did get coffee and we stayed awhile. Very nice but I guess very crowded on a work day. Lots of very tempting food choices.

We were on vacation, and our hotel was 2 blocks away. We weren't sure where to eat so we decided to come here. I like that it has lots of different choices to eat with nice bar area. My food was ok, but I really like the atmosphere. Definitely go check this place out if you are nearby.

This place is like a modern update food court in the city. Plenty of food option for all palates and for anyone looking to try some new food items. I tried the Miss YOLO’s and Taco spot where I went with a burrito bowl. I also decided to do a Bento box at Sushi and Bento by Mr. Lim. My final stop was the bar area. I give the food a 4 out of 5. The food isn’t bad but I have definitely had better around the city.

J
Jay Kim

Although there are a large variety of vendors here, there is very little seating. My wife, son, and I had to squeeze into the end of a table that had been monopolized by a group acting like they reserved a private room at a fancy restaurant. I imagine this location is great for workers in the area who can grab food to go. Roberta's, Korilla, Red Hook Lobster, and Dough Donuts were some standouts.

Not worth the hype. If you have a mixed party and want to be in doors this place would work, the food is below average and the prices are high.

Nice variety of non chain restaurant foods here. I think the place could be more cleaner though. I got the curry chicken bowl, it was delicious. I tasted the indian place and it was really good. I would recommend this place for a quick bite to eat. They have reasonable prices for a manhattan location. Only three stars because the cleanliness could have been better.

Bash Burger: Overpriced, average burger and fries…you might as well go to Shake Shack. Mian Kitchen: Good value. Decent bowl with lots of toppings. 10/10 would go back again and I recommend the curry chicken bowl!! General: The food court has quite a few options available (Indian, Japanese, Chinese, American) and also has some donuts and refreshments you can grab. Prices vary depending on the food stall but some have decent prices. Might go back to check out the other places…

Good choice of food options infusing Japanese, Mexican, Chinese, cafe, etc Prices are mostly reasonable. Some seating but insufficient - most stalks don’t have seating so this is a real problem. The cleaning needs to be stepped up - floor was dirty and sticky.

If you are looking for a market that has different foods for the family instead of waiting for everyone to decide then I guess this is the place for you. Food is not the bestest but it’s good enough to eat and relax.

We must've missed the memo where almost all Grand Central terminal food vendors are closed at night *INCLUDING Hudson News. Get your snacks or food outside Grand Central if you're taking a late train home on a weekend. We got there around 11ish and were highly disappointed.

I was just here and they were literally cleaning out the septic tank during open hours so it smelled awful. Would not recommend.

We arrive after 7 pm and ask for a couple of wine glasses after they serve us the manager who was the one who open the bottle of wine told us the it was the last call About 5 minutes after he came to our table to tell us that they were about to close. We felt like a scam we paid and we were not able to enjoy

I'm not sure why there’s so many positive reviews. The food from various restaurants tastes like it comes from the freezer. The machines for ordering, though 'cool' - in practice add a layer of frustration when ordering, and the screens lack product descriptions and won't let you modify. I had the pizza, pasta, burger - my family and I all agreed it was a waste of money. I have gone here in the past, and it was a fun, eaay experience. Now, in a sea of options- you can easily pass by this place and go to any of the other
