The food was really good and there was dense amount of food in the order. The money was worth it. The boneless chicken and the fried shrimp was really good.

This is the best Chinese in the area hands down. I love the chicken with cashew or chicken with mixed vegetables. Their soups and apps are good too!

We got the Kung Pao Bean Curd (tofu) and steamed dumplings. It was SO good and affordable. It wasn’t oily at all and so flavorful. And the portions were hefty. Highly recommend!!!!!

Traditional American Chinese take away place. Moved to the heights about a year ago from Greenwich village and the quality is not far from my previous favorite Suzie's, the Chinese institution on Bleecker street (Now uncle Ted's). Prices are ridiculously low and you can feed your whole family for less than $20.

Tough General Tso’s Chicken, barely any meat. Maybe 3 solid pieces. Great deal for lunch special. Kind lady, clean place. Maybe I’ll try another dish

I think the prices here are ridiculous mean while the food isn't really good sometimes it's good sometimes it's really bad I asked for half chicken before and they gave me pieces of chicken wings and I was disappointed and I asked for pork fried rice the other day with broccoli and is was just soo nasty and greasy I was disappointed again.

But overall I have to give it a C+. The place is run down and desperately needs some new chairs. But if their business is mostly take out, it might not be worth the upgrades. The proprietors were friendly and polite, which was a plus. I'll give them another try, but will probably order something else next time.

Still good... but seafood fried rice had no sea food in it... lobster sauce has crab meat instead of lobster... if you offer a dish deliver the dish you offer and charge for!!

They have all their products they use to cook laying around in what is supposed to be their dining area and they never do anything to improve the inside of their establishment. It looks slummy and the food is far below real Chinese cuisine standards. They never really had the room to serve as a dine in restaurant like they have in Chinatown. Yang Garden has been the only Chinese staple in this neighborhood for years and maybe that’s the reason no one wants to tell them that they need to do something to improve their appearance. While there are other Chinese Restaurants in Washington Heights, they all seem to follow the same set of rules, by not doing anything to improve their appearance but because of the economic downfall and inflation, they are forced to continuously up their prices, lower their portions and aren’t keeping up their appearance. While there are other restaurants in our neighborhood to go to, most have tried to improve their establishment by expanding and offering outside dining, but unfortunately, Yang Garden doesn’t have the room to do that and we understand that, but at the same time, they aren’t bothering to improve their appearance. While I’m not usually one that post their comments concerning dining establishments, I felt it was time that I finally posted my viewpoint and my overall rating on Yang Garden. I’m doing this in hopes that they do something to improve their business but I’m quite sure, my comments will be falling on deaf ears and they will continue to be at most, a low class establishment. After all, an old adage is, why fix something if it isn’t broke, right? Hopefully others will feel the same as our household does and Yang Garden will finally take the steps they need to improve the appearance of their business. 👎😏☹️
