Amazingly delectable food, located in the heart of Newburgh. I had a craving for chicken and waffles, which was quickly satisfied. My lunch date ordered a western omelette, which was also delicious. The atmosphere is bustling, lively, and warm. I look forward to having this place on rotation for the future.

Breakfast was delicious! Prices are good and food was presented well. It was packed on a Sunday morning which was great for business. There was a little wait with a nice stream of patrons but kitchen moves fast. worth the visit! Well done Newburgh!

Absolutely Amazing. Everyone is so friendly, food is delicious. Haven't had a great bowl of shrimp and grits since I moved up from NC. And not to mention the coffee??? So good and so yummy AND it comes with a cookie 🥹 If you're around, please go and give blacc vanilla some love.

We stopped in here for the first time for breakfast last week. The food was delicious and the staff were all very friendly and hospitable. I had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was so good. The chicken was crispy and juicy. My wife had a waffle with eggs and sausage that was also delicious. We both had cappuccino which we thoroughly enjoyed. We will be back again!

We were just passing through and I needed a coffee baaad so we decided to give it a shot. Almost didn’t go in but the reviews sold me. This is a local neighborhood coffee shop! You can tell this is a staple in the community. A lot of people who came in knew one another, and it was very encouraging to see. You’re greeted by a friendly smile, the service is quick and the staff make small talk with all the guests. It’s nice. The black & vanilla latte is phenomenal and my husband had an americano. Both were really good. The Mexican Avocado toast was also delicious! It came with home fries which were seasoned to perfection. Only thing is that I wish they just cut the pickled red onions thinner and so more of it covers the egg but the chipotle sauce is the boss on that toast let me tell you! It’s a hit. If we were locals we’d definitely be dining here often.

Awesome food. Friendly vibes with the staff, they are all amazing you feel like you’re at home. Marcelis had great positive energy and Trevor was a cool calm vibe. And the food, is craft like you taste the care in it. I got the chicken and waffles and that might as well be my go to it had very good flavor and the portion was great! I almost took another order to go. I’d definitely return for more and to try their famous black vanilla latte I believe it’s called

I’m really in a coma! I had this place on my list of local places to visit ever since I moved and I’m so glad I had the opportunity today to try it! First off the hazelnut latte was to die for!!! Piping hot and great clean flavor. Next the food shrimp and grits with another popular dish chicken and waffles. Everything is made to order and hot and fresh, the taste is just indescribable I loved everything!! They have a variety breakfast items including muffins and omelettes! I will definitely be back! They only thing that was a little bothersome was the tables were sticky. But that is definitely not a deal breaker. See you soon!

My daughter and I visited today and the food was absolutely perfect! I had the shrimp and grits. I am not a fan of wet food so when my dish came and I saw all the liquid in the bowl, I was tempted to order something else. I’m so glad I have in and tried it. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Just the right amount of liquid, perfectly seasoned!😋😋 My daughter had the strawberry and blueberry pancakes and the Turkey BLT. Everything was absolutely delicious! The ambience of the café is perfect for a laid back Sunday brunch. This visit was well worth the drive as we don’t live close. We will definitely visit again.

We had a great time at Black Vanilla Cafe celebrating a bday. We arrive for breakfast, the avocado toast was delish and so we the Pesto Mozzarella. Our drinks were beautifully presented and full of flavor. It was a great experience even more because the bday girl got a free drink, that was very nice of them. I'll definitely be back again to try other items.

I didn't realize this place is only open three days a week. It was rather run down like it's surrounding neighborhood. The booth seats were shedding. They had a coffee roaster sitting near the front windows and it would be great to get fresh roasted coffee some day but I fear this is just a pipe dream. Our breakfast was fine but nothing spectacular. I ordered a single pancake and it was very small. This place certainly doesn't warrant a 4.8 rating on Google Maps.

Arrived first and was served last. A group of white people arrived after me and my partner and the group was served first. Shortlt after another couple arrived and were also served first. We had order the same exact thing as the others, but they were served first somehow and even the couple that arrived after us. It is NOT okay to serve clientele based on your ethnic preference. Unhappy and sad with the service! If you come here, make sure you're being served in the order you arrived. Wasted great amount of time for nothing. The guy had even offered a donut for the long wait, however, he did not even give us the dunut he offered. Lastly, the omelet was not even good, it was flavorless. I'd recommend the Buffalo chicken mac& cheese or chicken waffles & stay away from the omelet. Just not worth the waiting & other getting served before you. Very frustrating and upsetting, won't be coming again.
