I was late to pick up my food due to a work lunch time mixup. They thankfully still had it waiting for me. They allowed me to eat in the restaurant so I had more time to enjoy my break. The food was great. I tried their watermelon lemonade and it was so good! 10/10 would get again. The guys were awesome. On such a stressful day, I was thankful for their chill personalities.

This place is delicious! They have great choices and the food is all organic (I think). They offer burritos, tacos, quesadillas, Mexican pizza, chips and salsa, free salsa bar, kids meals, and different healthy plates. Also the portion sizes for what you pay is great. There is also plenty of seating inside or you can order online. Love this place!

This Sharkys is my fave. Every once in awhile I see the owner there and he is very sweet always says hello how are you. Just a kind man ..all employees here have great customer service..the food is always great and hot..All business owners should check this place out and would learn a thing or two.

Went for the first time to one of these! It was great! They have a fresh salsa bar with a variety to choose from I had the steak fiesta bowl with the corn tortillas it was more than enough for me! They also serve chips while you wait for your food! When the waiters bring your food they all ask if theres anything else that you need, very good service!

It's hard to find amazing food that is healthy and fast that my kids love. This is my go-to pick-up food for my family on busy work days. Really nice employees. Love the tofu protein plate with grilled pesto veggies.

I typically go here daily. Food is healthy and excellent. Steven is the manager I believe, and day in and out this guy is super friendly and helpful. His team is second to none. This behavior is rare these days so it is very appreciative. Thank you.

Food was very good, pizza was great, it's like a thin crust pizza, i guess they used a tortilla. I had the order to go but they were fast. Lots of people inside the restaurant and it looked clean.

Ordered online for pickup. Order was hot and ready to go when I arrived. Excellent food here. Had the churros with chocolate for an added treat. Very good. Nice and crispy not soggy. Thank you.

I ordered a tofu and veggie burrito after a 12 hour work day. Got to my Airbnb and it was chicken. 1 point sharky's. 0 points to the vegan. At least I have chips 4 stars because I forgive them they were super busy....I'm pretty hungry though

I ordered a Power Plate. I really liked the food. 10/10, however chicken, rice, beans and a drink for $19.50 as a price it’s kinda expensive 😅. I mean I guess it is because of the quality of the food. No complaint at all, just saying.

I had the special mahi mahi tacos. The fish was way overcooked and the corn tortillas were tough. Everything else was fresh and good tasting. I'm not sure whether I'll go back.

I used to frequent this place on a regular basis because I love their salsa. However since the end of 2014 to the turn of the new year, their prices have skyrocketed. From what used to cost about $8.60 for a 2-taco California plate now costs about $10.. Yeah, no thanks.

I love Sharkey's food at this location, however they have a sign saying that masks need to be worn and they don't enforce it. When ordering I was behind a party six - all unmasked. I debated leaving, but stayed distant and asked the cashier if they were not enforcing the mask mandate. He said they were not. I am writing a review here in hopes that they will either take down the sign so I know how they are handling the situations, or follow what they are advertising. It is difficult for teenagers or college students to do the enforcement, so I would ask that management step up in this case. Thank you.

Not impressed with this location. Staff is slow. When we requested limes, the staff and cooks were unresponsive and refused to give me a slice of lime. The front register staff mumbled something like, the cooks were too busy to cut a lime. There were only 3 patrons at the restaurant. It was not busy.

Sharkys is great and all until you see that the prices here have practically surpassed those of local Mexican grills whos flavors are so much more definitive. I couldn't recommend this place, especially after testing the fact that the large and small nachos are the exact same amount so you're literally getting scammed with the larger option.

Brought my granddaughter here today, first I will say the staff was very nice and service was fast and clean. But the food here is unpleasant, we thought we were going in for Mexican food but this is not that. My granddaughter ordered chicken enchiladas that looked like a full on salad. Layers of tortilla, chicken, lettuce and cabbage. I had chicken taquitos that tasted like they were made from frozen chicken, they were flavorless. Walked away very disappointed and will not be coming back. Beware of fake raving reviews.

I'm really bummed to be writing this review for my hometown Sharky's, but unfortunately it is time. I've waited a while to see if they would get better, but they haven't. This location has been under new ownership for a year, maybe two now (it's a bit of a blur) but ever since the new owners took over, the restaurant has gone downhill. It seems like it is always chaos behind the counter with order prep. They are much slower to get orders out, the restaurant is less clean, and the food just isn't that great anymore. It's a real bummer because I have been coming here for 10 years or so I think... The former manager was awesome, but he moved down to the Camarillo location when the new owners took over. Camarillo doesn't seem to have the same problems that this Newbury Park location has. The cashiers here are usually pretty OK, although they are mainly kids just trying to do their best. Some of the other people behind the counter for pick ups and other things though are a little abrupt and sometimes rude. Customer service has definitely gone downhill. Regarding quality of the food, I often get a Sharky's chicken salad, and it just isn't as good anymore. It has gotten much smaller, much more expensive, and the lettuce is wilted/brown, isn't fresh and doesn't look appetizing. Tonight's salad was yellow/bland brown looking. Not much green in there. It just seems that the care and quality has gone downhill since the new owners took over. It's too bad. I will be trying the location on Moorpark Road since it's the next closest to home for a while. Hopefully the Newbury Park folks will read this and work to get their store back up to par.

Sharky's used to make a great burrito. The one I got today was a rolled up tortilla with some light ingredients added in. I couldn't believe the pitiful burrito I was served when I could have gotten a proper sized one literally anywhere else that serves them, for less.

Our family hasn’t visited Sharkys for a while because they can never get our order right. Tonight I felt like some nachos for dinner because I didn’t want to cook this Mother’s Day weekend. I asked to speak with a manager, (as I was told to do so when I place my future orders.) I was very specific on the items on side and if they could put extra cheese and I didn’t mind paying for it. The manager assured me it would be great. When my husband came home with the order, it was everything BUT great. Not only was there barely any cheese at all but they didn’t put my sour cream on the side, they forgot to even put it in our bag. It literally ruined my whole night as I was looking forward to these chicken nachos. I found owner email from the reviews and decided to email instead of writing a bad review because we are all just trying to make it in this economy. Never received a email or call back, so I’m writing my review now. It’s sad that the manager didn’t follow through with checking our order, even after I explained our history of order issues. It doesn’t take much to keep customers happy. Save yourself the time and money and eat somewhere else that values their customer feedback .

Ordered the fiesta burrito through uber eats and it was really pitiful. The burrito came with no guacamole, sour cream, salsa or cheese. And they gave me pinto beans when I asked for black. Smh, not sure who is running this location but this is unacceptable. Oh and it was cold!
