Fun little hidden gem of a restaurant. Lovely covered patio with flowers, we sat inside since patio was full. Ridiculously delicious battered and fried green olives appetizer with a romesco sauce. The other app was 3 dips, tzatziki, hummus and labneh with flat bread seasoned with paprika. Jackie was a delightful server, attentive and we got a bag of their delicious scottimos chocolate chip cookies.
An adorable setting nestled in a quiet area with extremely welcoming and knowledgeable staff. The team was gracious and attentive from the moment we walked up, throughout the meal, and on our way out. The food was magnificent and filled with creative flavors, cooked to perfection. The cocktails were refreshing and tastey! The patio is charming with plenty of shade and a lovely breeze. For those who need heat, outdoor heaters are available. Dogs, babies, kids, young, and old. Everyone is welcome. We cannot wait to come back and try more. Thank you for a wonderful Sunday Brunch 🤍
We dined at Arc and Butcher on Christmas Eve, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional! The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and made the evening feel extra special. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The flatbread was the perfect starter—crispy, flavorful, and beautifully balanced with fresh toppings. The filet was cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with rich, savory flavor. The Brussels sprouts were a standout, with a delightful caramelized finish that added the perfect touch of sweetness. And the meatballs? Simply divine—juicy, well-seasoned, and a must-try dish. Arc and Butcher made our holiday truly memorable. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience!
Attentive staff with prompt service. Everything we ordered was great. Keep in mind large groups will be seated at a side patio seating by the entrance as they do not have enough tables to seat at the main patio. Server was great, will be back again.
My husband and I went for brunch on a Sunday. The day was perfect so we sat on the patio. Ambience is amazing. Josh helped us and his service was great. We tried the burrito (which is humongous but really good) and the classic breakfast, we definitely recommend. Worth it.
Hidden gem in Newport. Honestly, had expectation of it being just fine but all the food was incredible, atmosphere was great (not stuffy), and service was kind and quick. Can’t say enough good things. Much better then the majority of restaurants in town and cheaper. Steak was incredible and duck fat potatoes blew my mind.
OMG 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Amazing 🤩 I LOVE everything we had here 🙏 I had this place on my list for months 😱 I wish I came sooner. Pizza and Sandwiches are the best in OC! Actually one of the best I ever had. JUST DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and tryout this place. The amazing service and food makes this place my favorite OC restaurant 👌
We had a Sunday brunch outside. Can't say enough how delicious this food was today. Started off with the Bloody Mary! Delicious! Breakfast Burrito, Salmon Toast, and Eggs and Bacon were amazing. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast! Will update later once we have a dinner there! A must!
Such a Unique Restaurant. Started out as a Togo place with high quality food. I love how it’s evolved to a chic low key eatery with an amazing wine list. I get the Togo chicken now and then. I love the Pizza too. The food is top notch and priced very good for the quality. I forget to go here bc it’s off the Main Drag and doesn’t pop in my head. Tonight for the first time I had the Salmon and WOWW 🤩
This is the best rustic style brunch I have been looking for and I was so happy, the grilled cheese and soup combo is worth the trip itself, a true hidden gem and will be back, great service from all staff from kitchen to front.

Fantastic food. The appetizers are very tasty. Fried olives are very yummy. The steaks are cooked to perfection and of superior taste and quality. If you like the original Arc, this is an absolute perfect added bonus.

My partner and I tried this restaurant for our first time last night and I was blown away! The food was incredible and the staff are top-notch! I wish I would remember the receptionist’s name and our servers name. We will certainly be back! If you’re thinking of a place to eat- this is the one! We had pork belly, pasta, and octopus! Absolutely delicious!

Enjoyable evening in the patio at this Resy restaurant. We took our dog which was awesome. The atmosphere was festive. I had a couple of their Pilsner beer that comes in a cold can. My wife has a glass of redwine. We had ther nachos to start which was amazing. We also had the meat ball sandwich. Meh. Ther shrimp adobo. Very spicy and one of their salads with chicken. All in all food was a 4 star. Bio came to $160 for 4 people which I guess these days is average.
I'm not sure what is going on with some of these haters on here. I thought Arc Butcher and Baker did a great job and the food was really good. I spent (2) months away from civilization and told my wife, "When I get home, I need a great dinner." I'm glad Arc Butcher & Baker delivered. We started with fried olives, which I had never had before. They were really good. We both ordered the 20oz Ribeye, which is offered (3) different ways - Cowboy, Spanish, and Italian. The choices don't affect the steak, but determine the sides. My wife ordered Spanish, which came with a delicious side of squash salad. I ordered the Cowboy steak, which came with delicious potatoes covered in what I believe was a yogurt sauce. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a beautiful char on the outside, which made it taste even better. The service was also great and everyone was so polite and helpful. The only issue with the restaurant is something totally outside of their control, which is the crappy parking situation. If you are going to enjoy dinner here, make sure you build in 15 minutes to your timeline.
Food:3.5. Service: 5. Atmosphere:4. Steak brought out was cold like it was made yesterday. I don’t mind it but for the price, I expected a little bit better. Everything was good.
Food was great, rain leaked through the roof while we were eating. In general it was a very nice place to eat.
It has a very nice ambiance, very nice waitresses and very good food. It’s an ideal place for a light meal. We had the Charcrudite, which is excellent to share (a mixture of charcuterie and ceudités), smoked salmon, chopped salad. All of them very good. What I missed was a good beer. Worth to come back.
Ambiance = Great. Service = Great. Wine = Great. Food = Good, not that great. And specifically "not great" relative to the value. Our example is date night for two: shared app, two glasses (total not each) and two entrées = $240 out the door. Garlic Meatballs were delicious 🤤, duck fat fries were mealy 😢. Wife got the pork chop = good. I got the filet mignon = good. I don't necessarily expect a filet to be 'cheap' but I do expect it to be worth it - we cook a better one at home 😬 - kinda hope for the opposite when you're going out. I am curious about some of the SoCal soul food options they have, but as I look for future date nights, if I'm going to spend $200-$250, I'm probably choosing a different spot. 🤙🏼

We visited Arc Butcher & Baker on October 18, and it was a wonderful experience. We ordered the sausage, ribs, bacon and onion flatbread, duck fries, and mac & cheese for the kids. Everything had incredible flavor and was clearly made with quality ingredients. The drinks were also excellent and paired well with the food. What really stood out were the sauces honestly, some of the best I’ve had. Every dish we tried had a sauce that elevated the flavors, tying everything together perfectly. The patio dining setup is fantastic and one of the highlights of the restaurant. It’s ideal for a relaxed outdoor meal, though it can get a bit warm in the afternoon, so if you’re looking for an indoor dining experience, it might not be the best fit. The staff was friendly and approachable. Service wasn’t over-the-top or overly polished, but it was solid and welcoming, which fit the laid-back vibe of the place. Overall, I’d rate this experience around 4.6. It’s easily one of the better dining spots we’ve tried in Southern California, and we’re already looking forward to going back.

First time at this restaurant, cool vibe and service. We ordered some appetizers, the fried olives 7/10, lamb tenders 9.5/10 very good, Bruschetta okay 7.5/10. I ordered the butchers burger, I have to say it was just okay for me, maybe because My friend over hyped it for me. I give it 7.5/10. And my other friend ordered the steak sandwich, we split the order so I got to try the steak sandwich, slightly better than the burger 8/10. I wouldn't come back for the steak sandwich or burgers, if I come again I would be interested to try their steaks.

This place is allergic to flavor. We came in after this was highly recommended, and for the life of me l cannot understand why. If you enjoy pretty food that tastes like cardboard this is the place for you. We ordered a steak and salad, both lacked luster. The German chocolate cake doesn't have sugar in it. Do yourself a favor and save the money!
