⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved this Vietnamese restaurant! The food was really delicious and full of authentic flavors. Everything we tried was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The milk tea deserves a special mention — hands down the best milk tea I’ve ever tried! 🧋 I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great Pho and excellent service. I will definitely be coming back!

Heard about Golden Rabbit through the foodie grapevine—everyone kept talking about how their pho broth was different. Curiosity got the better of me, so I packed up my family of five and made the 90-minute trek from Marina del Rey to Balboa Island. When we arrived, I expected a big flashy restaurant. Instead, it looked like a cozy boba shop with a few tables outside. But don’t let the size fool you—this place delivers. Because there were five of us, we ordered five dishes family-style, and I’m glad we did. Everything was fantastic, but a few standouts deserve special mention: Filet Mignon Pho – Believe the hype. The broth really is different and in the best way possible. Chicken Curry – Comforting, hearty, and unique. A soupier vermicelli style that reminded me of the dishes I grew up with in Indonesia. My personal favorite. Shrimp Vermicelli, Wok-Seared Beef Rice, and Crispy Egg Rolls – All excellent, and honestly hard to rank because they were each that good. If you come, bring friends and order family-style so you can try a little of everything. One last note: my kids were obsessed with the brown sugar boba milk tea. They loved it so much we actually came back 20 minutes later to grab another round. According to my teenagers, it’s a must. Bottom line: Golden Rabbit is small, unassuming, and absolutely worth the drive. We’ll be back—no hesitation.

Yummy. We really enjoyed our dinner here. Very friendly service. Place looks very clean. We dined in and were offered complimentary chilled water. Prices of food are very reasonable.

During my recent visit to Balboa Island, my friends and I stopped by Golden Rabbit for some boba and takeout. We were blown away at the kindness from the staff and the tasty food to enjoy at the cottage. My favorite dishes were the beef vermicelli bowl and the garlic chicken wings!

They are so friendly.. they asked me how my golden rabbit milk tea tasted, and after I commented it was a tad too sweet, they instantly re-made my drink with no extra cost, and let me keep the original! Their prices are very reasonable, and pretty low considering the area! I got a milk tea, and two entrees for just over 30 dollars! Definitely coming back next time I visit.

I’ve been to The Golden Rabbit a few times now and it never disappoints. The filet mignon pho and chicken pho are both amazing. You can really taste the quality and the long hours that go into the broth. Everything is super fresh and full of flavor. Big shoutout to Casey. She’s always super friendly, polite, and incredibly hardworking. You can tell she really cares about her customers. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!

Out for a stroll I happened to be struck with curiosity when I saw Udon noodles on the menu in the window. ended up also getting tofu spring rolls and chicken curry. got a really nice variety of items and all of them were perfect, so delicious and flavorful! So glad to have stopped for a bite here as all the food was delicious and the staff is so sweet and attentive!

OMG!! This is the BEST pho we've had and that includes our recent trip to Vietnam. Go get their limited availability traditional filet mignon pho!! Go now!

The Filet Mignon Pho is an excellent choice. Absolutely delicious and the staff is supper sweet. I highly recommend!

This food is incredibly fresh and good! What sold me was “no seed oils used.“ I will be ordering from or eating here again very soon. Everything was delicious. It was delivered exactly when they said it would be. I highly recommend you try this restaurant.

What a gem. Husband and I are visiting from Massachusetts and my cousin told me about this gem in Newport and just had to try it. We had the garlic wings as an appetizer and we both got a rice dish. Husband had the shrimp and I did the beef. We both cleaned our plates it was all so good. A must try. Staff was great and it was a great night to sit outside and enjoy people watching.

Ordered a meat dish over the phone based on their recommendation—picked it up and it had zero meat. Called the next day (since they were closed that night), and they promised a replacement. Went back the following evening, only for them to say they "reviewed the surveillance footage" and insisted the meat was added. Accusing a customer of lying is unbelievable and insulting. They grudgingly replaced it "just this time." I also bought other items that were decent, but the terrible customer service makes it not worth ever returning. Avoid this place
