*Amazing Food, Tough/NO Parking* Sanchos Tacos delivers incredible flavor - the Chubby Sauce is out of this world, and every bite is amazing. The only downside? Parking is practically non-existent, so plan ahead. You can pay for parking in Balboa, but prepare to walk a good distance for your tacos. Totally worth it for the food, though!

Very popular local joint (chain) for tummy filling eats. Their breakfast burritos are good! Sancho’s has a very different flavor profile vs Chipotle’s on the other end of the shopping center and vs Chronic Tacos on PCH. If you like refried beans and Spanish fried rice in your burritos, this could be your place🌯 This is not my personal favorite place, but I recognize that a lot of people vibe here 😊 Avocado or guacamole is $5 extra! Extra salsa is $1.50 extra Limited indoor seating, but that’s okay because many people take it to go. NOTE: The shopping center parking lot officially is not for use by Sancho‘s customers—it is confusing, but just be aware.

Food is excellent. Kindof a sweet/spicy. Tried all the tacos and enjoyed. Chips and guacamole was a big portion. Only reason for 4 Star not 5: please don’t charge $ for hot sauce. It’s a taco shop, hot sauce should never not be included. Almost left out of principle. Especially when I spent a hundred bucks for 4 people already.

Fun vibe Taco shop. Great art courtesy of KoolHandLuke, but the tacos are all really average tacos where the the main ingredient (the meat) just doesn’t shine like it should. Not much taste. Decent sauce options. But this isn’t the caliber of tacos of like a Lupe’s of Dana Point or any of The Taco Stand locations which would trump Sanchos pretty easily. Nice location though close to the beach. Nice service too.

I recommend! The food: we ordered many tacos. The best ones were the carnitas, beef and shrimp ones. Chicken ones were very dry. Flavours were good but nothing out of this world. So after that first experience we decided to come back and try other items. Second time I had a steak burrito and wasn’t disappointed at all. It was delicious! The place: A bit loud so not really baby friendly (in case you’re looking for a family friendly place). Good thing is that the restaurant is just two blocks away from the beach. Service was ok.

When even my 14-yr old complains that it isn't worth the price, you can figure it's not that great. Especially since he adores finding little hole-in-the-wall places with delicious food.

Just got my favorite surf and turf burrito today a half an hour before close. Overcooked surf. Overcooked turf. Crunchy onion chunks. Hard rice. What happened?

Gross. Don’t eat here so many other amazing taco places around. Bad decision but I was hungry and hadn’t eaten here ever. Shrimp wasn’t fresh and tasted rubbery. For the tri trip and it was the toughest overcooked carne asada I’ve ever had. The tortilla chips and salsa weren’t even redeeming. How anyone thinks this is edible I have no idea, and way overpriced. Go to Panga Tacos, Great Mex or Chronic. All way better.

Not sure what all the rage is about. I ordered the Caliguey burrito and the tri tip was very tough, chewy and had zero flavor. The burrito was big, but it lacked quality. The salsa was sweet instead of spicy. The young girl taking orders looked miserable, like she didnt want to be there. No personality whatsoever. I know everyone can be going through things, but if you choose to work at a restaurant with the public, you should definitely have better communication skills, and smiling never hurts. I wanted to like this place but unfortunately I was let down.

Disappointed with the food. Nothing to rave about. I rather have went to Del Taco. It would have been cheaper and more satisfying. Service, the cashier needs an additude adjustment and learn some customer service instead of trying to rush us when it was our first time being at the place.. I'LL PASS!

Genuinely shocked how poorly we were treated. Visited in the hopes to get a table with my family only to be ignored by everyone and had to watch the young lady at the register making faces at her phone and heart shaped with her hands for a few minutes. It looked like she was live streaming with her friends. I asked if someone could help only to be told I shocked her??? Of course I did, she was completely oblivious to paying customers waiting in the doorway waiting to be served. Long story short we skipped this place and went somewhere else, the young lady at the register seemed like she couldn't care less, this is not someone I want anywhere near my food, good luck, we won't be returning to try again.

Just look at the picture. I ordered the chicken burrito, and the chicken was completely burnt—so tough it felt like chewing on a rock. This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to leave a review. The burnt taste and smell were overwhelming. Honestly, it was the worst burrito I’ve ever had. I really hope the owner sees this feedback and makes changes to improve. It’s the only way to keep loyal customers coming back.
