Had a wonderful dinner at Shorebirds. The bartenders were awesome and fast! Delicious drinks. Our waiter, Arturo, was AWESOME! Gave amazing recommendations. You have to try the meatballs and the skirt steak was amazing! The restaurant is clean and posh looking. The outdoor area was under construction. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal!

Food, Atmosphere, Views & Presentation all came together to create a great experience. We had a party of 10 and the seating options there were very accommodating and spacious. See for yourself on the food we ordered a wide variety of options. The Seafood and Sushi is spectacular and the Chicken Sanwhich was High quality. We went for a walk on the dock after to look at the boats coming into the slip. It was a fantastic time.

Solid spot! Amazing food. Obviously it’s in the higher end. I paid $80 for a delicious salmon plate, added a risotto side, and got two cocktail drinks. Thought the experience was great! Beautiful view of the marina. And the salmon was so gooood! Like this was a fancier/ modern looking place that wasn’t too crowded. They validate underground parking but I didn’t know so I paid the meter, fyi.

First time at Shorebird and it was excellent. Food was tasty: we had the omelet, pancakes, and chicken enchiladas (family style). The service was excellent: our waiter made great recommendations and brought out extra plates so we can share the 3 plates we ordered. The atmosphere is nice but wish there was a table available that was closer to the water so we could enjoy the view. Overall I'd recommend Shorebird and plan to go again.

Love this place! The vibes are spot on, lovely views of the marina, service is friendly and most importantly the food is great. Some of our favorites are the hash brown sushi roll, the crudo, pork belly, deviled eggs, their house chicken dish, and the Chilean sea bass. Definitely a must try!

This place was wonderful. We stopped in for brunch on a weekday and were able to get right in. Service here is amazing. They get you whatever you need whenever you need but without bothering you too much. We both got cocktails and they were done right. Not too strong but enough liquor where you could taste it and enjoy the drink right. We got the overstuffed bacon and eggs as an appetizer and it was amazing. For our main courses we got the Cuban sandwich and the chicken sandwich. Both were fantastic and things we would eat again in a heartbeat. All around this place is delicious and service was great. Will definitely come back again.

I liked the vibe and bottomless mimosas. My food was good but I thought the overstuffed deviled eggs needed a little more flavor. My omelet was tasty and I added bacon. 😋

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was great, you get a nice view of the marina and the service was amazing. There isn't many options for kid meals. All the kids in our party ate the same item, chicken tenders and fries.

Had the most incredible experience here earlier this month. We came to enjoy one last day at Newport having brunch with a view, and left beyond excited to come back! The food was just as delicious as the atmosphere. We took our server up on each course recommendation and she did not disappoint! Each dish better than the next…the crab cakes were worth the review itself. We had the pleasure of being waited on by Bri, and she brought the experience to a whole other level! She was so accommodating and personable, it made it easy to trust all of her recommendations in which , were spot on. If you are looking for a literal foodgasm in Newport, this is the spot. We stopped in for happy hour and every single bite was a knockout. Very much a shareable gastro adventure. ​We started with the short rib meatballs, which were incredibly tender and rich, followed by a spicy tuna roll that was super fresh with just the right amount of kick. For the main event, the Shorebird burger was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and exactly what a high-end burger should be. ​Whatever you do, save room for the carrot cake. We asked with a scoop of ice cream. This is easily some of the best I’ve ever had—moist, perfectly spiced, and the ultimate way to end the meal. ​Beyond the food, the service really made the night. Our server, Nico, was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Between the delicious dishes and the great vibes, we’ll definitely be back.

We ordered the scallops, which were beautifully cooked and paired with an excellent sauce. The Crab Egg Benedict and the omelette were also great—flavorful and generously portioned. The service was warm and attentive, which made the whole experience feel even more welcoming. Really enjoyed our experience here, and I’m already looking forward to coming back to try their dinner menu next time.

Several people at our hotel recommended the Shorebird to us and we were not disappointed. Our waitress was fantastic and made some great recommendations. The menu is varied and interesting, but the food was incredible. Beautifully presented and delicious. We had a table by the waterfront and it was a perfect night out for a romantic dinner.

Our server, Amanda, and manager, Ozzie, were both friendly and welcoming, and they offered complimentary ice cream for a birthday. We enjoyed The Shorebird, Chicken, Chilean Seabass with risotto, Salmon Belly Nigiri was okay little pricey for 2 salmon pieces , and an Espresso Martini ,all tasty, with the seabass and chicken especially well marinated. The GLS Patz & Hall Chardonnay was excellent; coffee was fine. Sunset is the best time to visit, and the area is great for a walk after dinner.

I had their tomato and avocado omelet with a Paloma. The Paloma was crisp, refreshing, and well balanced. The omelet was incredible. The avocado was perfectly ripe. It also came with lovely sides- a fresh salad, crispy potatoes, and perfectly cooked toast with jam and butter. This is a place I’d absolutely return to. Thank you for the amazing brunch. Cheers!

Dined in for dinner on a Sunday evening and were seated at an outdoor table right away. Our waitress was friendly. They were out of the crispy cauliflower unfortunately I was looking forward to trying them out. We started with the Caesar salad and onion rings. The onion rings were so light and yummy and I love that they came with buffalo and ranch sauce. The salmon dish was unique and delicious. The cauliflower purée was extremely flavorful. The roasted potatoes are also sooooo good and seasoned very well. There is parking validation for 2 hours by the restaurant. The views of the pier from the tables are nice and it's a spacious restaurant with a nice size bar area. The only downside is the amount of flies that were swarming the entrance area and the dining area outside.

I'll be honest. For a restaurant that claims to be a rich visitor, this is weak. There is a lot of sauce in the dishes, although they are made very creatively. The selection of groceries is simply amazing. That's why I'm giving you 4 stars, although of course you can't compare this restaurant to regular street food. My daughter's birthday went well. Thank you.

Shorebird is a great spot for a date night. The atmosphere is really nice (especially if you get a view of the marina). We ordered a couple of local drafts, margaritas, oysters, sushi and the salmon filet. Hands down the food was amazing. I’m giving this four stars because there needs to be a little bit of subjectivity when it comes to reviewing places. I had really felt that the service could have been a bit better. There was a couple sitting at a table in front of us that appeared to be receiving much better service than the rest of the patrons in the restaurant (including ourselves). When they were served their food, the server waiting for them to take a bite of each dish to ensure it was to their liking. This server was also our server. They were also checked on frequently, where at times it took some time for them to take notice and check on us or other patrons. I don’t know where the bias derived from when it came to the service and the customers in which were very obviously receiving top notch service in comparison to others - but, when I go somewhere, I’d like to think that service provided should be equal and similar. Other than that, everything was excellent!

Came here for Father's Day as they were able to take a reservation relatively last-minute. Honestly, the service and atmosphere were much better than the food. The dishes were well-designed with complex flavor combinations; however, execution and portion size left a lot to be desired. I am only taking off one star because I understand that it was a very busy holiday, so I'm sure everyone was a bit tired.

It is a great location overlooking the bay. The brunch menu has something for every taste. The lemon ricotta pancakes are fluffy and light.

I had the knife and fork breakfast burrito that was nicely prepared and tasteful and served hot. My wife had the crabckakes lakes and a few people has the fried chicken and waffles which seemed nicely done. Service overall was great given how busy they were on the Mother’s Day. My wife really enjoyed this place so will likely visit again.

IM NOT YOUR SERVER! YOUR SERVER WILL GET IT FOR YOU! Wanted to try shorebird for a while! Came here for brunch with a baby during Sunday is a mistake. We parked at Spaghetti factory valet parking for $10. According to the valet guy, shorebird has no parking (not sure if that's true or not). We made a reservation ahead of time, luckily we got to seat very quickly. We ordered a lot of stuff to share. The oysters are fresh and very tasty. The deviled eggs are overpowering with too much going on, and the dish name is so ironic overstuffed bacon & eggs. LoL. I wanted a puff pastry soup so badly since it is really rarely to find, we ordered shrimp bisque encroute to try. The pastry has great texture and flavors, shrimp soup tastes kinda hard to describe. I don't want a second spoon of the soup but I really like the puff pastry. Sticky ribs appetizers are so tasty, the meat fell off the bones and delicious flavors. Steak & eggs are medium rare with great flavors. The ricotta pancakes are very fluffy & yummy! Overall, I would like to come back to try other dishes. However, Sunday service was really horrible. With a tired crying baby, we wanted to leave the restaurant ASAP. We can't find our server anywhere, we finally waved to the host. She said " I'm not your server". Since we can't find our server, we had to keep bothering another server. At the end, he was very swamped that he started to not wanting to help either. Well, if a restaurant has these much crowds. Maybe you need to hire more people, if I don't have a baby. I'll probably walk around to find someone to help. For some reason, it was so difficult to spot a server in the whole restaurant especially our server. Not sure if I should come back for a second time if this is what we paid for $150+ brunch experience. Also the restaurant is extremely loud, you really have to yell at each other to hear anything.

We had a reservation for a bachelorette dinner and left mildly disappointed. The atmosphere and place were so cute! The drinks (most of us got starry night) were also delicious. Service took a while and we were always trying to search for our waitress who looked like she was taking care of a lot of tables. Most of our table ordered burgers, but we also tried the Cubano, cauliflower, tomato soup, and chicken tacos. One girl ordered off of the sushi menu and didn’t get her food until all of us were done. The waitress did apologize, but I vaguely remember her saying the sushi chef was on a break which caused the delay (peak dinner time might I add). We would have ordered another round of drinks but again couldn’t find our waitress so we decided to head out. We really wanted to like the restaurant (the soon to be bride has recommended it and was so excited to go), but it was slightly disappointing to say the least.

Food was very good and flavorful but service was not great. Dishes were dirty and the waiters forgot what we asked for. The restaurant was noisy as there were many big groups. It was super cold.

Very disappointed with both the food and the service during our lunch visit. We ordered two chicken lemon Caesar salads, string fries, and meatballs, and it took almost an hour for the food to arrive. During that time, I had to repeatedly follow up with the waiter to check on our order. To make matters worse, a table that was seated after us received their food before we did which was really frustrating. When the Caesar salads finally came out, they were underwhelming. They looked almost store-bought - just shredded lettuce with a few croutons and dry chicken on top. The “string fries” we ordered weren’t even string fries, they were just regular fries. After waiting an hour, the meal definitely didn’t live up to expectations. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to after my experience at Shorebird last night. I had a 7:00 PM reservation to celebrate my birthday with my family, and when we arrived, we were told our table had accidentally been given to another party. We waited by the bar area while they worked on finding us another table. Unfortunately, by 7:45 PM, we still hadn't been seated. During this time, the situation became even more chaotic when the main hostess appeared to have a full-blown panic attack and was on the floor crying in the middle of the restaurant. What made the situation even more confusing was that the restaurant appeared to be only half full at the time. The most disappointing part was how the situation was handled afterward. After waiting about 45 minutes past our reservation time, we were understandably getting frustrated and asked for an update. Instead of offering a sincere apology or trying to make things right, the staff became confrontational and had a surprising amount of attitude toward us and told us to leave. The staff was using profanity toward us, and we watched as several parties without reservations were seated ahead of us, which made the situation even more frustrating. The interaction was very unprofessional, and it didn't seem like anyone was in charge of resolving the situation. The whole experience felt chaotic--honestly like something out of a movie. I've never experienced such poor management at a restaurant before. After this experience, I won't be returning to Shorebird.
