Double Steak and cheese, 24 hours later just as good!!! Just refrigerate the sub in a cooler as they prepare/wrap and stick it in your luggage and 24 hours later you are enjoying the best Steak and Cheese in Tampa Florida ☺️ Microwaved about 2 mins and it was awesome
One of the better sub shops still around in Niagara falls. Cant go wrong with a double steak and cheese with everything on it always good.
New renovation for the customer space, while keeping their long tested, tried and true cooktop and equipment to keep sliding their famous subs. It's Viola's, if your local you know. If not it's quality steak, less grizzle etc then random Sysco fed. Fresh ingredients, fair prices.
The best steak and cheese subs ever! In addition, great people work at Violas. They know their regulars and are always happy to greet new customers. Worth the drive after a good day, a problematic day, or if I am just hungry!
I was visiting Lewiston NY for a jazz festival. Viola's had a stand there selling their subs. My cousin who is from the area said I have to try one. It was so good that I stopped here on my way back home to get another one. I got the steak, capacole and cheese. So good.
This place is burned into my memory forever. I remember all the vacations to the Niagara Falls area to see my family. Where my parents grew up, who they went to high school with, their friends, my aunts and uncles, and there was never a single trip there without at least three trips to Viola's, and as an adult with established taste buds, my family didn't steer us wrong, I still visit it each time I visit, multiple times because it really is that good. Go there, double steak, and cheese, everything on it. You will not regret it.
Absoluteley the best steak and cheese and the lettuce, tomato and salad recipe makes the sandwhich POP. Whenever I travel back to Niagara Falls from West Seneca I almost always stop in and grab at least one. Simply the best. 5 star subs. I could not speak on anything else because this is my go to item. But, I always see people order other things and I ask if its good and it is always resoundingly posive. It is a shame so many family businesses have been closing in Niagara Falls and hope they never go anywhere. Viola's is a Niagara Falls staple of the community.
Been eating here since the 80s...killer subs...pricey but worth it!!
Best little sub shop around. Love the steak and cheese. I always get the large double with everything. A little expensive, but totally worth the price. little place, nothing fancy, they only accept cash. Fast friendly service. Never had a complaint. Go here you won't be disappointed.
Best steak and cheese sub in western NY hands down. Their seasoning is phenomenal. Been getting these subs since I was a kid and there is still the same people/family working there. Can’t be beat.
Perhaps one of the best subs I’ve ever tried. They make the steak sub with real steak, not the grilled kind that is sold everywhere else. 10/10 would return again. Beware of cash-only though!
I love Viola's.....and have been going there for many, many years!!!
Viola’s is a mom and pop shop where the majority of customers order for take out. I am a dedicated customer who comes here specifically for their steak and cheese sub which is a taste of my childhood and a must get for my family and I whenever we are in the area. Yes, the size is small in comparison to other sub shops but it’s the classic Viola’s FLAVOUR that has me hooked. I’ve tried other subs from a variety of other locations in the NF and Buffalo region and they might be bigger and have more steak but I always come back to Viola’s. I’ve never tried any other sub from Viola’s in my 50 years so I can’t provide an opinion on anything else…. And in all likelihood won’t lol
OMG. The steak and cheese, double-double is so good, I always forget to take a picture to post!!! Front entrance and dining room have been "under construction" all summer. You can order at side window but no where to sit and eat. UPDATE, Food is just as delicious as ever. Front area now open and seating available.
Always love this place. Their rolls changed for the moment only because their supplier is in Canada and they cannot come to the states to bring the rolls. However, even with the temporary change, theyre still amazing. If you have never been make sure to get the steak and cheese (I usually do a double steak double cheese), oil, whatever toppings, and Definitely ask for the seasoning. It's perfect.
Food is great everytime and they are not skimpy on the meat. Great atmosphere with all the families eating in tonight. Great pricing also.
I pick up 2 large steak and cheese with everything, as often as I am in the area of Military Road. My neighbor has grown up on Viola's and as she doesn't drive anymore, I get her her Viola's fix..
One of the hidden gems in Buffalo. We come here from Canada to get a few Subs to take back home on the way back. Their Steak and Cheese sub is amazing with their trademark seasonings and oil. Make sure you bring cash with you, they don't accept cards of all kind. Good food and good staff
I've been eating Violas my entire life. I've never had any others than steak and cheese and the assorted. My dad is nearly 90 and still stops in a few times a week. Best sub ANYWHERE.
Best sandwich we've had in a long time. Going to be a regular on Buffalo trips now.
Amazing sandwich. Ordered the Double Steak and Cheese. About a foot long for the whole sandwich. Comes with lettuce, tomato, and onion standard. With an oil and seasoning blend. Got it without tomatoes. The perfect amount of oil but the seasoning including a pepper was perfect on the steak. Served wrapped in plastic wrap. Atmosphere inside is that of a Subway from the 90s. Even the plain yellow bench booths subways had. Cash only but has an ATM. $16 for the sandwich. The regular steak and cheese was listed as 11.95.
Went to hear about a week ago as a recommendation from a friend. The staff were super friendly and helped with recommendations for their best sellers. We were told steak and cheese was their number one seller and it did not disappoint! I got an assorted sub which was also very good and my boyfriend got the steak and cheese. I am a sucker for a good assorted sub but the steak and cheese was amazing. Definitely recommend going if you're in the area
My husband and I were in town visiting family and i got him a steak and cheese on Saturday. He stated “best sub he has had in his entire life”.
I purchased the Assorted Cold Sub for delivery. Daniel with DoorDash was awesome! Being from out of town, I wasn’t to sure what I was going to get. I gotta tell ya, it was one of the Best subs I have had in a LONG time. I will definitely be back!!
I got the Steak and Cheese with grilled onions added and my husband got the Steak and Capp, we both fell in love with this sub shop. We liked it so much we came back for a second time lol. The food is made to order and some items take longer to make than others. This place is cash only but they do have an atm.
I am picky. There are about 8 places I'm willing to go out to eat in the WNY area. Violas is in my top 3. Hogie, Hero, Grinder, Submarine or "Sub"... no matter what you call it, Viola's is a name just as synonymous as any of those. If you want THE steak and cheese sub to represent Niagara Falls/WNY, look no further. Get it with everything. The oil, seasoning, tomatoes, and lettuce. If onions are your thing, do it. If you're gluten-free like me, get it without the bun, in a salad form and you're still going to be blown away by how fresh it all is. I just ate dinner and now I want a Viola's. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and bring cash. They don't take cards. If you forget, don't stress, they have an ATM machine next to the counter. Get to it!
My husband has always loved this place. Steak and cheese subs. So do a bunch of others, always busy.
I didn't have to wait long for my order. But when I got there they told me they only accept cash. THERE WAS NO ATM. So I had to go find one. Who uses cash these days?! My steak and cheese sub was absolutely delicious! Though it seemed a bit on the small side and I do wish they would offer mayonnaise instead of miracle whip. REMEMBER TO BRING CASH!!
Subs are really good. Always get meatball and chicken finger subs. Never had a problem with them. They are a staple of the niagara falls area.
Overall pretty good. Steak wasn’t finely chopped and a bit chewy/tough. I’ll try them again and see if I get a better one next time. More of an Italian steak n cheese than anything with all the fixings.
Man this place has one of the best subs. The steak sub they have with all the toppings is a must. My family and I had this as our last meal in Buffalo before we went to Niagara falls. I was thinking about this sandwich the entire trip. Make sure you bring cash the ATM will hit you with a large fee.
This place serves the best Philly cheese steak I've ever had. It will be a mandatory visit whenever we are in town. Right now, their dining room is under construction - sounds like that's been a long project, but should be done sometime soon. I'm sure their dining room atmosphere will be much better than eating our yummy lunch in the car.
It's my best friends favorite place for a steak sub. She's always raving and craving them. They use miracle whip, which I absolutely can't stand. I know you can get packets of regular mayo if requested. I tried the steak and egg sub, and it was ok but not at all what I was expecting. I thought there was gonna be yoke, but while frying the eggs, they deliberately broke the yokes, which to me killed the entire reason for putting eggs on my sub, but that's just me. There is always a long line, and they have been in business for years, so obviously, they're doing something right.
I use to love Violas subs they would hit hard by force and smack your lips with savory flavors of that delicious steak and cheese combo. Subs are packed with meat and leave your taste buds on a ride of love. Unfortunately, the heavy handed miracle whip is keeping me from scoring this family operated buiessness a 4 piece and I believe it takes the expirence away of anyone looking for a submarine. Great customer service and excellent tasting meat but the miracle whip took over the pleasure of me wanting to come back for another bite.
Ordered a cold sub presented in plastic wrap on a sheet of paper and it was pretty generic Nothing on the menu except for subs, small bagged chips and drinks. If I wasn't trying to support a small business a 7-11sub would have been cheaper with more options to satiate my appetite. Did not accept but had an ATM that charged a fee.. Very nice staff
There is one older lady that was just rude. She was rude to the other staff and customers. It made the food taste a little off to me. We spend too much money for poor quality and hostility.
This place used to be very great! Awesome food, great price. However, the place has gone down hill. The price has skyrocketed! And the sauce/oil they use, has lost flavor and it make the sub we and soggy. The staff are still nice. Some are neutral and look like they are just trying to keep a straight face till their shift is over. If you never went here before, you can go and try their subs. But if you have been here before when they didn't go down hill, don't come, because they aren't that good anymore.
Disappointed. Was here before and remembered my sub as tasty. Today's turkey sub with everything was disappointing. Roll cold and stale.
This place used to be a staple of our visits to Buffalo and Niagara Falls. I dreamt of getting this sandwich, a double steak and double cheese. When you walk in and smell the oil, it's like memories walking back into time. Although those memories don't live up to expectations as soon as you start talking to staff. Not friendly, don't have the time of day to speak with you, and just short. Okay I understand if you're busy that's okay. Then you get the sub, bite into it and it just doesn't taste the same. Something doesn't seem like it used to. Maybe I hyped it up in my head to much. Maybe I wanted it so bad that I over sold it to myself. I'm not sure. Either way I know it is not the same sub you used to get. And the staff was not friendly to be around.
Haven't been here in quite awhile so thought i would grab lunch here. The woman at the counter were very pleasant and friendly. Ordered a steak and cheese with everything and a large drink. Came to over 25 bucks which doesn't suprise me. But when I gormt my sub, that did suprise me. Very small in size. Then the flavor didn't seem to be ehat I remember. That maybe me but looking at other reviews that seems to be common. Sorry to say that I won't be returning anytime soon.
Went to Viola for the first time looking for a good buffalo chicken sub. There wasn't even enough chicken for the hole sub half a sub at most. Then I'm not sure why they think oil on tomatoes and onions is a good idea for a buffalo sub. It is exactly why we stopped ordering it from Mr. Venture. IT MAKES THE SUB SOGGY!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SUB.
Viola's has been a staple of Niagara Falls for many, many years. It was one of the places you would recommend out-of-towners stop into, for a quick bite to eat. Sadly, the quality of their food has drastically declined. Both the taste and presentation of their subs has been lacking for some time now. We decided to give them another shot hoping that this hometown favorite would once again live up to its reputation. Unfortunately, we were disappointed once again. We love to support local, but they definitely need to make improvements.
Was highly recommended by a good friend. But the food which I got a steak and cheese hoagie. Was just subpar I've very honestly made better at home. Then I dont know why on earth it was wrapped in cellophane. I think to keep it warm ok understandable but had to almost rip my sandwich apart just to get it off. But the customer service was exceptional the women were great friendly great sense of humor. The way it should be.
food was good a little pricey for what you get subs were skimpy and they wouldn't give you ice water charged for bottled water
It says online they're open untill 10pm on Tuesdays so I decided to make a 30 minute drive for a delicious sub. I arrived at 8:45 to find the door locked. When I called and told my story, I was told they closed at 9. But it's 8:45!?!? I still like the subs, but it really sucks they were so dismissive. I didn't realize they closed before they close for the night. Please consider changing the hours to reflect this. 😕😡
It has changed allot. The last 2 times I went there The steak and cheese subs that they are famous for the steak was so tough that I could not chew it. It was never like this before!! And it used to be so busy...now you can tell by the parking lot its not busy! It's sad...many of us grew up loving there steak and cheese sub.
The subs are fantastic but I have two MAJOR gripes that bring this down to two stars. #1. They're cash only. If you're not from around here you'd never know they're cash only. There's no signs or anything. For a restaurant to be cash only with no ATM inside is just extremely inconvenient. #2. Is an ever bigger gripe, the staff is ALWAYS extremely rude. They're impatient and pushy, they give you dirty looks if you don't know exactly what to order and how to order it. They give you dirty glares if you don't give their fat rude counter lady a tip when all she has done is forced you to misread an order because she's been so pushy. The food is fantastic, but the entire experience is sour. Around here every corner can make a good sub, don't waste your time with this place until they fire their whole crew.
We have gone to Viola's for years. I always thought they were the best but recently at a steak and cheese and it was terrible the meat was so chewy not tender at all. And my husband's meatball stop wasn't as good as it usually was
This has been the go to place in Niagara Falls, FOREVER. Really sad because their new steak meat is chewy and tough. Won’t be paying for chewy steak… see you at Jim’s!
For the money I don't recommend Viola's or at least this location. Maybe you need to be a regular to get decent service and a decent sandwich. The roll was dry, meat, cheese and toppings were barely there. Over all very disappointing.
My cousin past away and I stepped up to help his mother out during the funeral, and since she knew I like this sub place she got me a 75$ gift certificate for viola's, witch i was so happy with at first, i am a stay home father of 4 kids and my wife works 50plus hours in the Counselor department to help people anyway she can, well when I went to spend like 50$ of this viola's gift card, because we have 4 small children plus 2 adults, The lady that usually is only the cashier got so extremely rude with me while 10 other customers where in the store and said I spent to much of the gift card at once and I had to give them a notice a head of time to spend that much, keep in mind we are only talking about 3 and half subs, she acted like I was begging for something free, what did she do with the money my auntie gave her for a piece of paper that said gift certificate on it, this happened a few months back now and I will never go back to this place, my cousin died in a brutal car accident that I was a witness to and I went here to feed my children and wife after a time of grief and that cashier lady made me feel horrible like I was taking Advantage of something, when she took advantage of my aunties 75$, keep in mind I been a customer of voila's since I was a child and now it will be skipped on my kids over a 50$ order that was paid for a head of time by my auntie purchasing the gift certificate, this lady i believe is the owner or manager, I only can ask why don't they have an escrow account for the gift certificate, because of their lack of handling gift certificate money, she truly degraded a customer while in a time of grief just looking for a easy dinner for his kids and wife. Thanks viola's for not honoring your own gift certificate and speaking to me like I was a low life p.o.s when I am only trying to raise my kids to be respectful American citizens and trying to make my wife the happiest of them all
Disappointed! Steak n cheese wasn’t what I remembered, I used to love it. Not this time. My daughter like the chicken finger sub. Also was charged $9 for the atm.
Almost $20 for a sub-par sub that was almost made incorrectly twice, even though I was the only customer. When I made a comment about the price, the lady cashing me out (who, based on a few things she said, sounds like she's related to the owner) blamed the cost of goods going up, which would be a valid argument if there was a reasonable amount of meat on the sandwich - she claimed there was at least 8 oz of turkey and there very clearly was not. Maybe their prices have something to do with staffing 3 employees when there wasn't enough business to require 2. I honestly think I could have looked past everything, but then the signature experience of Viola's presented itself - a sandwich shop that only offers miracle whip when you ask for mayo (to be fair, they do provide mayo packets). Their one saving grace was how kind and polite the staff was. Unfortunately, that's not enough to entice me to ever go back. I wish them luck.
Food is trash worst sub I've ever eaten I'm not from nf and this place was highly recommended very sad for you guys not to know good subs ordering process is chaotic and weird the lady doesn't write anything down and don't remember anything correctly so plan on standing around to answer the same question over and over she says she drinks heavily I think she was kidding but I'm not too sure rolls fall apart are not toasted no plates for the food which is crazy messy sub roll was dry and cold the steak was good onions shouldnt be frozen.. egg omelette was cold with a kraft single on top almost 60 dollars absolutely absurd service was sub par an wasnt very friendly place was clean my daughter who loves eggs just said these are gross can I throw them out
Disappointed, used to the best steak and cheese sub place. Not only was the portion lacking steak and cheese, it lacked the special “homemade” seasoning. Didn’t look appetizing. This was a large steak and cheese with everything minus tomatoes, but you wouldn’t have thought that from the picture. Couldn’t even finish the second half, had too much chewy steak. Also cash only in 2023? Never again unfortunately.
This Viola's has very poor service. Call to order two subs and the girl is not even paying attention. So u repeat my order. Get all the way home and find out that my order is messed up. Not surprised when they are fooling around instead of doing there job. So I called to let them know and they hang up on me twice call for the third time ask to speak to a manager. Let them know that they had messed up one of my subs and I was on my way to come back to get the correct sub I ordered. When I get there I get dirty looks!! Very disappointed & very poor service!!
Rude employee let my call in order sit and get cold and soggy while she took orders from walk in customers,. Asked her twice that my subs were sitting on the counter for 15 minutes getting cold and she complained that she was only one person working.Four employees working but we're not working the order window and pickup window. Worst un-cooked terrible Italian sausage and cheese sub I've ever had.
Assorted sub, consisted of 3 slices of different lunch meat and 2 slices of cheese food and a stale bun, all were of the cheapest quality. Overall the flavor was salt. The restaurant was somewhat clean, and the service was adequate, and to make it more awkward they only accept cash.
Weird, stuck in a strange approach to customer service. Worst part though is you can't be confident about the quality of the steak on the Sub.
Frequented this place back in the 90's. It used to be great. Now, as the baton has been passed to the younger members of the family, frugality is evident everywhere. No ice in my soda? Come on. No credit cards? Come on. One sliver of steak on the steak and cheese? Come on. This reeks of penny pinching and I'm sorry to say I can no longer recommend this place.
Not a fan. My sons hot meatball and cheese sub was cold and mushy with onions tomatoes and lettuce. We ordered a large but it was the same size as the 2 small subs that we also ordered.
Order was placed and then promptly forgotten about. Watched 5 people enter, place orders, and then exit before a senior employee asked if we were there for a pick up order. After replying we placed an order in the shop there was zero communication about correcting the issue being a priority, only "nevermind, they're leaving" when the total waiting time had exceeded 30 minutes.
Violas has become one of the most inconsistent restaurants in this area. Some days the subs are amazing and taste great, other days the subs are fatty, chewy and so full of grizzle and grease. Don’t understand it as this has been happening for years. They can’t live on forever putting out hit or miss quality food and their long reputation.
Food was acceptable, subs are getting smaller, service was atrocious, i.e. sucked.
There's only one bread choice and it's stale and subs are expensive. The veggies added to the sub are not even put IN the sub, but ON the sub so as soon as I unwrapped it, all of my veggies fell out. Staff did not feel inviting either. The restaurant appears clean and presentable but the food and staff made for a disappointing experience. Not recommended.
Not good, ordered double steak double cheese, took it back up woman fought with my husband not double cheese on sub, wrong been coming here forever, and to fight with him over it wrong, but a couple more pieces of cheese on it wouldn’t of killed her to do it. Very disappointed
I can't comment on the food since it was cash only, and being from Toronto, we didn't have any U.S. dollars on hand. However, something that did catch my attention was a jar with a sign that read, "Tipping is not a city in China." As someone of Chinese descent, I found this comment offensive. A more considerate message, such as "Tipping is appreciated," would have been much more respectful. After seeing that, I honestly felt uneasy about trusting the food they serve.
I came running to the Google reviews as soon as I was done placing my order, and I seriously question how so many people have rated this dive highly. My friend and I were in town and went here based on a recommendation, and I can honestly say that our sandwiches were mediocre, at best. On top of that, the sandwiches are overpriced for both quantity and quality, and the place is old, and not in the cute, charming way, but in the run-down, not interested in upgrading anything way; did I mention they’re cash only and don’t inform you on the website??! The cherry on top was really the elder of the woman working today who took our order; MISERABLE is an understatement, but Google would not allow the verbiage I would prefer to use. She was rude, intimidating, ignorant, dismissive, and I could definitely taste the hatred in my sandwich. This woman, without a doubt, makes everyone around her hate their lives, and I could see it on her colleagues’ faces. I would imagine, unfortunately, she is perhaps an owner, because no one in their right mind would allow an employee to treat customers that way. Please do yourself a favour, go to Subway. They have food and customer service standards, all of which are lacking at Viola’s.
Cash only in a digital world. It’s almost 2025 but they’re operating like it’s 1965. They have an ATM beside the front counter which is basically a cash grab instead of just investing in a POS terminal. Didn’t get to try it because of the cash only policy which is an extremely poor business decision. I’m sure it’s fine but I’ll just go to Buzzy’s down the road instead.
Manager can't read. I orderd through doordash. Showed her my phone with my name on it. She was claiming she needs to make sure it's mine after I told her my name, showed my phone, plus it says in BOLD on receipt "CUSTOMER PICKUP" . if you want better service, go to ventrys pizza.
The food at this place is terrible and super expensive. 10" miniature Royal sub on old stale roll with weird dressing and miracle whip as the only choice unless you want mayo packets. Sub was also super salty and only cash is accepted. Miniature sub was $15 with tax plus an extra $2.50 for their ATM fee to get cash. Around $18 for garbage. What a waste of money and calories. Very disappointed. Wait staff was mean as well.
I went here thinking I would get a better sub than Subway, boy was I wrong! When we(family) arrived we were not familiar with the menu, when we asked the girl for a minute she looked annoyed. When we got our Subs they were extremely oily, I got my shirt all dirty with oil and guess what, no napkins were given with our Sandwiches. The subs were mediocre at best, the bread was stale. I like to support small business, and I hate to give a small business a bad review but I won’t be returning.
Once again, they got my order wrong. I said NO OIL and I get home and every sub is soaked in oil. This has happened so many times but no more. I'm done wasting my money here.
idk what happened I used to love this place now not so much 3rd time coming here since I got back to NY and 3rd time disappointed today I ordered a turkey sub whole and really it wasn't bad enough that the guy who ordered his steak sub before me jumped up when they called out turkey and they dressed it to his liking but when they found out the error they thought it proper to just try and pick off what he wanted and I didn't then when they gave up on that finally they handed me my sub uncut whole got my toppings all wrong and if that wasn't bad enough after all that there was a layer of turkey on it across the whole sub thinner than the cheese slices and they were not all that thick either I mean the dam thing was all bread and onion when I asked for light onion and idk seems to me they took it out on me that the other guy messed up my order or the lady did as I heard her say turkey and he walked up saying steak and she made it anyway but then blamed him for it ...overall experience total waste of 11.25 they asked about seasoning I said sure and omg I tossed it in the trash way way too much hence the assumption taking it out on me ..
Ordered a steak sub and it was terrible! The bread was soggy and the sub was disgusting! This is also the only sub shop that wraps the sub in saran wrap!
Worst sub I ever had. Soaked in oil in which I never asked for. Would have returned but it was delivered. Never again!
Chicken fingers for the kids looked like greasy rubber. Our steak sub was so chewy most was not edible. Will not go there again.
Food was tasteless not much meat. First time I would never recommend eating here!!!
Had 3 steak and cheese subs with everything on it and one of my friend even asked for extra mayo but got dry subs with dry meat and bread wasn’t even toasted or heated it was so chewy couldn’t even get couple bites out of my sub used to have good food before idk something wasn’t right not going back to the one on military rd …good luck for future
I’ve been a loyal customer for most of my adult life, and I’ve almost always had a good experience, but in the past couple years since I’ve been frequenting the military road location, I’ve been losing my patience with a particular employee who seems like she must have slept through her food safety meeting. Each and every time I go there and she’s working, I observe her blatantly disregarding any attempt to use proper food safety measures, like the rest of the employees. She is handling cash and change with her gloved hands, then using the same gloved hand to reach into the lettuce and tomatoes and onions, to make people’s subs. I was there today, and it was the last straw. I observed her handling all of the rolls without any gloves on, she’s reaching into her pocket to check her phone, go right back to slicing rolls and I even saw her digging her nails into the one end of the roll to open it up further. I have no idea what her name is, but she’s an older woman, short with long dark brown wavy hair usually up in a messy bun, heavy eye makeup. She also has a terrible attitude and has never once been pleasant any time I’ve had her serve me food. I think after today I’ll be only going to the Elmwood Ave location.
I am 68 yrs old and lived in Niagara Falls my whole life we frequent Violas quite often was very disappointed with my last visit. Prices went up. I ordered one regular large steak and cheese and one with double cheese fried onions came to $30.75 which I’ve never paid that much no problem. I understand prices go up but the size of the subs I’ll send you a picture where so small …The price goes up and the quantity goes down??don’t know, but I think my visits are gonna be less frequent now…photo is the double cheese fried onion smh … gotta do better Violas we were there 10/15 /25 at about 7pm
Ordered 2 steak and cheese subs last night. They were so small. Hardly and lto on them. This will be the last time. Place has been terrible for over a year now.
All you have to do is listen to what the customer wants… just pay attention. 7 ingredients on a sub write it down and take the 2 seconds to make it how I asked… for 8 employees working none of them actually care about what they’re giving you. Sandwich didn’t have mayo , wasn’t wrapped to be sealed. Not much oil at all. So very dry exposed and not what I asked for when I call back I get a hold so here you go. Avoid If you just want a specific thing.
[FOOD SAFETY] Steer clear of this place. Was there waiting in line Sept 14th, 2025, 1230pm for about 20 minutes.. Bill's game at 1... Lady at the cash register handling cash w both hands.. (cash only). One glove one, one glove off. Handling all the money of the day from every customer. And doing food prep with the same hands. Not changing gloves, and for sure not washing. When confronted, she said she was doing it all day and its busy.. Yeah. If you like eating toilet germs. This is your place. Sure they won't cover you hospital stay.. Run...... Safety second, Money first..
Visited the area and was recommended this sandwich shop. Was super excited to try as they had great reviews Online and I always love supporting a family business as I have one of my own. The woman who I assumed was the owner was rude, dismissive and aggressive with my friend and I. She misunderstood our order, then passive aggressively screamed out to the other employees that my sandwich had to be remade. If she would have done her job properly, respecting us as customers instead of pacing and not looking at us while taking our order she wouldn’t have made the mistake. I couldn’t help but feel like she was hom0phobic. She barked out at me while I was in the seating area about what cheese I wanted on my sub and I just said the last cheese she said cause I was afraid to take too long to make a choice. I could have dealt with her attitude if the food was good, but the sandwich was a joke, They put onions, lettuce, and tomatoes, over seasoned with oregano on every sandwich. Which I would have preferred not to have on the tuna sub I ordered. bread was stale, the sandwich other than the oregano had no taste and was soggy. If you’re looking for an awful sandwich, and to be disrespected this is the place to go.
