Bonefish Grill - North Charleston

Went here the first time food not too good. But went back and got fantastic service by Trinity and the pasta was excellent!! So recommend and will be coming back and asking for Trinity to serve us!! Can’t say enough about how wonderful she is!!

Tonight’s dinner was delicious and my service with Trinity was extraordinary! My server Trinity was outstanding she ensured that my request was delivered exactly the way I wanted it perfectly. And to top it off she had the warmest smile and friendly personality! I can’t wait to have dinner again real soon with Trinity see you again!!!

My first time was very enjoyable as a happy hour outing. The staff acknowledge you as soon as walked through the door. The food came out fast, hot and delicious. My glass was never empty. The sangria and crab cakes was very tasty. They have a have a very large selection of fine wine. Will dine again for dinner.

We flew in, and this was one of the first places we saw. It was a great choice! Our waiter was great, knew the menu, and had perfect recommendations based on our questions. I would definitely come back.

Such a great place for a romantic date. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of their menu items and only top of service. We had the shareable dinner for 2. It was delicious, the choices available were awesome.

We had such a great experience at Bonefish Grill! From start to finish, everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. The warm bread with pesto olive oil dip was a simple but perfect start—freshly baked and nicely seasoned. We also tried several appetizers, and they did not disappoint. The Bang Bang Shrimp was a clear favorite: crispy, creamy, and with just the right amount of kick. The crab cakes were golden and full of flavor, paired with a zesty sauce that brought it all together. For mains, the fish tacos were loaded and full of vibrant flavor, while the seared tuna with jasmine rice and stir-fried veggies was a deliciously lighter option that still packed a punch. The fish and chips were generous in portion and perfectly fried—crispy outside, flaky inside. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, we made room for the key-lime-coconut cake—moist, decadent, and absolutely worth it. The staff was attentive and friendly, and everything came out fresh and hot. The overall vibe was relaxed yet polished, perfect for a casual dinner with a bit of a special touch. We’ll definitely be back!

My friend and I had dinner here and the vibe was good. The food was prepared well and the drinks were good as well.

We enjoyed our time at Bonefish Grill on International Blvd. Our server Michael H was awesome! He got me to try the Drunken Coconut Pie dessert and it was fire. I couldn’t eat too much, because I was enjoying the Dragonfruit Margaritas. The Bourbon Salmon and the oysters were great! Thank you for the great food and great service!

Trinity was absolutely incredible! She was so nice and took great care of us. She made sure our food came out correctly and in a timely manner. Would definitely ask for her the next time we come!

I went today during social hour. It was my first time and let me say it will not be my last. My server was Sean, he was great! He took the time to explain the menu to me and answer the questions I had, which I greatly appreciated. Out of everything I had, I would recommend the Bang Bang shrimp which was amazing!

My husband and I were visiting from Virginia and had dinner at the Bonefish grill. We had the mixed seafood grill for two with the cauliflower and brussel sprouts.( Not your average cauliflower and sprouts by no means). We had such a wonderful meal served by knowledgeable, friendly and conscientious servers. Thank you Michael and Zach for a great dinner.

Superb in all areas rated 5, most especially SERVICE because of Michael. He knows his menu, made proper recommendations, gave us time to enjoy our food and drinks and did it all timely and with a smile. Very much enjoyed our Bonefish experience!

Our server, Zachery, was so awesome!!!! He was engaging without being annoying. He provided perfect recommendations and was prompt with service/refills. Zach was an excellent addition to the team and the Bone Fish experience!! If you are eating at the North Charleston Bone Fish, ask to be seated at Zach’s section.

My kids and I came to celebrate my birthday. Alysa was absolutely amazing! I had the special of lobster stuffed shrimp, and it was finished with an amazing birthday brownie dessert! Thank you for making this birthday dinner so enjoyable!

From start to finish, my experience at Bonefish Grill in North Charleston was nothing short of amazing! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right mix of elegance and comfort. What truly made the night special was our incredible server, Michael H. He was attentive, personable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His recommendations were spot-on — from the signature Bang Bang Shrimp (which was absolutely addictive) to the grilled salmon with lemon butter sauce that melted in my mouth. You could tell he genuinely cared about providing an exceptional dining experience. Every dish came out beautifully plated and full of flavor. The cocktails were perfectly balanced, and dessert — especially the crème brûlée — was the perfect sweet ending. Michael H’s professionalism and friendly attitude made the evening unforgettable. It’s rare to find such outstanding service paired with consistently delicious food, but Bonefish Grill truly delivers both. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and requesting Michael by name!

The food and atmosphere were great. I’m a vegetarian and the crispy cauliflower was great. We sat at the bar and the girls were amazing! Sam, Kat and Alisia thank you for the best experience. Can’t wait to come back!

My husband and are had a wonderful meal - the Butterfish and Grilled Shrimp & Scallops. So, so delicious! Our waiter, Joe was friendly and very courteous providing great service.

Last night we had absolutely amazing service! Our server Imagine was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we sat down. Drinks were always refilled, food came out perfectly, and she checked in just the right amount. She really made our whole experience better—we’ll definitely be asking for her again!

Stopped in after shopping to grab a meal and a drink. Greeted by Divinity as soon as I arrived. She was AMAZING! Her personality made my night! She suggested the Bang Bang shrimp and it the best I have ever had! The food was good and came out fast! Everyone was very friendly! Divinity is DEFINITELY a keeper! I will be back!

Zachary took out to go order last night and was extremely friendly, and ensured that my daughter’s gluten free food (she has Celiac’s) was prepared properly and bagged separately. He was kind and attentive while we waited. I have never had a bad experience at Bonefish with either the food or the service - but this was the first time my Celiac child ate there and it was perfect ! 🤩

I was in there last night and my server Imagine was amazing! She was quick with our service and constantly checking on us. She had the best personality and gave us great suggestions on what to pick to eat (since it was our first time) Even though I do not drink she had some great alcoholic drink suggestions for my husband. She even went out of her way to give me non-alcoholic suggestions as well. I will definitely be back

We arrived at 17:00 on New Year's Eve & were quickly seated. The food was Bang Bang great! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our pleasant server quickly greeted us, took drink & appetizer orders which arrived with little delay, then the main course which came soon after. Though the dining area was quickly filling, the restaurant didn't feel crowded nor loud. The only negative, if you can call it that, there was what seemed a bit of a delay presenting the check. But that gave more time to chat before exiting and continuing our evening.

It is always a pleasure to have Alisha as your server. She is awesome, friendly, and provides great service. Bonefish overall has great teamwork service. The seafood is always great. We enjoy this as it is our go to seafood restaurant. Not too many places you can go to and receive great service, awesome food and good price value.

My first time at the Bonefish grill and it did not disappoint! My husband and were in Charleston visiting friends last weekend. We shopped at the outlets. And decided to try bonefish for dinner. Our server, Imagine, was so sweet and she took the time to help me pick out something I would like ( I’m a little picky lol). We also never had to wait for refills!! She was definitely on point! I can’t wait to try our local ( we live in Rock Hill, SC) Bonefish. I hope it will be as pleasant of an experience as this one. My only regret is that I didn’t take any pics because we were so hungry from shopping!! I had the crab cakes and the lobster ravioli (so,so good). My husband thoroughly enjoyed the sirloin and steamed lobster tail.

We had a lovely evening. Divinity was our server and she was amazing. Best server we’ve had in a while! We had bang bang shrimp and calamari for appetizers and they were super yummy! We enjoyed all of our entrées, the only critique I would say is they were a little too salty. We had coconut pie and brownie sundae for dessert and they were absolutely amazing.

Stopped by Bonefish Grill near Charleston Airport- solid spot! The food came out just right and service was friendly and quick. Everything was cooked well and had good flavor. It’s not mind-blowing, but definitely a nice, reliable meal before or after a flight.

I went here with some family members who were traveling to Charleston. We ate here on Friday night when it was very busy. The service was pretty good, but the food was only mediocre for the price. I have been to another location in the Columbia area and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would try another time before I decided if it is an establishment that I am willing to continue supporting.

This is my new favorite restaurant. This time we ate in charleston. The only downside was that we had to stand at the front for a very long time before we could be seated. And I didn't really understand since tables were empty. I would have been happy to sit there and wait rather than standing in the front. Maybe there's a reason that I don't understand but I'm older with a bad back so that was uncomfortable only later did I say there was a bench LOL

Our service was great. Our server, Alisah , was dynamic and our appetizer came out before we were served Our drinks. The service was excellent. I ordered the shrimp and scallop scampi pasta... it was divine. My husband, ordered the Asian buttered fish.. he said,'it tasted a bit fishy tasting'. Feels the Bone Fish Grill in Columbia on Forest portion and taste were better. Overall, we totally enjoyed our meal...

Typical Bonefish Grill. Bar available as well as a happy hour menu. We had the bang bang shrimp appetizer. It was really good, and we forgot to take a pic of it. I had the mahi mahi with broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. It was good. The garlic mashed could always use more garlic. My husband had the orange roughy special, and he said it was really good. The espresso martinis are delicious.

Food was decent. Staff was not that attentive. Phone at front desk was ringing non stop. Bill came and their recommended tip amounts are not correct. They add an extra 2%. Just be honest and not try to trick folks to get more.

I came to the restaurant at around 1330 and there was no wait. The restaurant did not have a lot of people inside. We ordered the bang bang shrimp with sauce on the side, the fries with crab, and water to start. Fries were good but the crab was tasteless. It really didn't add anything to the appetizer. The shrimp was very good and I'm glad the sauce came on the side. I don't like too much sauce on my food. Warm bread was served with pesto and olive oil, it was great and simple. I ordered the parmesan crusted rainbow trout with garlic mash potatoes and seasonal vegetables. It came out looking great but I didn't taste the rainbow. The fish was bland and didn't have much flavor at all. I think all the spices were cooked away. The mashed potatoes were good and the broccoli was fine. Fish was sad. Overall the service was ok, could have been better.

It was extremely busy but that being said we were told a 45 minute wait and it was actually an hour and a half wait. Table turnover was extremely slow. Once we finally got seated everything was wonderful. Our server was extremely efficient and nice always smiling and attentive.

I stopped by the Bonefish Grill in North Charleston recently and walked away with a mixed impression. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it a nice choice for a casual night out or a simple dinner date. The staff was friendly and professional, and service felt unhurried in a good way. For starters, the Blackened Chicken Egg Rolls were flavorful and generously filled, though the sauces didn’t quite complement the dish as well as something more tangy or salsa‑based might have. The lobster ravioli had great seasoning but felt a bit thin and lightly filled, which made the portion less satisfying than expected. My entrée—the grouper paired with a crab cake—was a combination of highs and lows. The grouper and asparagus were excellent, but the crab cake didn’t stand out, and the rice was noticeably undercooked. On the bright side, the cocktails and mocktails were well-crafted and tasted fresh, which added a nice touch to the overall experience.

We love bonefish but have been to this location twice since moving. Both times the service has been super slow and not super friendly or welcoming. The food was good, but the steak was not pink at all it was more considered medium to well. Since it is about $30 we requested it be recooked. Which was a horrible decision considering it came back basically raw. So I left sad and left this review. So mid.

I had salmon and it was dry and tasteless. The mashed potatoes were cold and tge broccoli was soggy. I enjoyed nothing about the experience. The other person had steak- medium rate was the request and it came back rare. Their sides were also cold. The bang bang shrimp had a sour smell yo it and the bread was nearly too hard to break. Super disappointed in this experience. Its usually my favorite place. The quality is going down. Im no longer interested.

The side of rice was way too dry which took away from the appeal of the otherwise ok salmon dinner with broccoli. The portion size was ok but could have gone further. They did include bread, though. Service was poor, however, because we told our waitress upon our arrival that we needed to expedite our checkout afterwards because of a local show and, and she acknowledged that, but failed to help us when that time came. On ok place if you good with ok, but it could have been much better with a little more oversight to details.

We were starving from traveling all day. Finally got to our hotel and ordered Bonefish Grill for dinner. Ordered the beef & ginger potstickers, crab & corn chowder and a slice of key lime cake. This was the worst $38 w.tax & gratuity. I ever spent. Food was flavorless, lacked seasoning and really just tasted like frozen food they thawed out and prepared. Even the cake was blah. Ughhh this was such a waste of money and extremely disappointing.

Bonefish usually has great food and atmosphere today the service was absolutely horrible my food was cold the server was not attentive I couldn’t even ask for anything because he kept walking off. No refills and did not clear the table of finished plates. James our server made me not want to come back for awhile. Extremely annoyed with today’s experience.

Personally, I will not be returning to bonefish, however kudos to the waitresses that served my table because they were excellent however, the food was horrible. The triple fries we had to send back the mahi-mahi was dry beyond compare. The trout was dry as well. The only thing that they cooked right was the rice and the steamed broccoli and the brussels sprouts those were the best things that they serve and dessert. I went in there and spent $217 on nothing I will not be returning.
