Visited 11/18/2025. Excellent tortillas and meat. Taco Tuesday cash special, slight discount for tacos dorados and tacos estilo Tijuana. Very generously sized tacos, you’d easily pay 5 bucks or more at a gentrified spot. Super fast service, maybe 4 minutes from payment to table. They had a live DJ playing English and Spanish bops as well. Will definitely be back.
Awesome tacos. Great atmosphere. Delicious tacos. And $10 pitchers!!! So happy I stopped by.
*Delayed post from Feb ‘25 This restaurant took my love of Mexican food to another level. I’ve eaten birria ramen in Cozumel, Mexico before, but these tacos are something else. The tacos dorados were so crunchy and greasy, but in the best way! The quality of the meat speaks for itself, but I also loved how many options they had available in their toppings bar. The inside has such a cool, modern street vibe with the wall art, neon signs and colorful banners. There’s plenty of parking in the lot and lots of seating inside. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table.
Wow! These tacos were next-level good 🤩 I got tacos and tostadas estilo tijuanes. The flavors were incredible, and the staff made the whole experience even better with their kindness and good vibes. Highly recommend this place!
Ever since Tijuanense opened up, I have lost all desire for all of the other small Mexican restaurants. They are absolutely delicious. Every item on the menu is great. And all the people who work there are so nice. They remember and treat their regulars like family. And the atmosphere is everything! All in all, I have never had a complaint. And I have been there about twice a week for at least a year now. This is the authentic food I have been searching for. Thee best birria anywhere!
Absolutely love it here, one of my favorite Mexican dining spots in the Valley. Super friendly staff and a bar with onion, cioantro, salsas, jalapeños & carrots, pickled onions, lemons/limes, etc. They have a self serve fountain drink machine as well as a self serve aguas machine with Horchata, jamaica, and some other drinks. Great selection of alcohol, lots of beers and also some mixed drinks. Also has a selection of bottled drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic). Busy on weekends and dinnertime but food is always out quickly even when they’re busy! Highly recommend ♥️
Food here is so good. Everytime I visit i try to eat something new and im never disappointed. I can say the pozole was my second favorite after the birria tacos
Great Food. Plenty of parking. TV. Beer. Caldos Y tacos.burritos
One of the things I love to do when traveling outside of the country is trying out their food. Tijuana has by far the best tasting tacos. I've tried to find a place in the US that has the same taste but I've yet to find one. This place is as close as you're going to get. Here you can find tacos with Tijuana flavor and salsa to die for. I will come back to try out other items on their menu but so far I'm very impressed. I tried the birria taco, taco estilo Tijuana, and their mulitas (Mu-lee-tas). The birria was flavorful and NOT dry like at other places. The taco estilo Tijuana was as close to a Tijuana taco you can get and you don't have to drive hours to get one. But I think it's beat out buy their mulitas. A Mulita is basically a taco with another tortilla on top and with melted cheese inside. I loved it. 10 out of 10 for sure. The tortillas must be heated in lard or something because even the tortillas are tasty. This is a must try.
Food was BOMB!! I’m used to East LA tacos but this was chef’s kiss! All of the meats we tried were super tender and juicy- even the carne asada!! Small fresh topppings bar on the side, no salsas or hot sauces like taps too but maybe if you ask. Cute instagrammable vibes here. The mural art on the walls is very nice. Overall, highly recommend and can’t wait to go back again!
Great food, friendly service. The restaurant is clean, so are the bathrooms. Good choice of additions at the salsa bar and the fountain coke tastes like the bottled coke from Mexico. Found a gem in walking distance from my home and plan to return many times! My only request is please add Al Pastor to the main menu. And maybe a molcajete salsa! Overall delicious food and the adult beverages are nicely varied. Try the house lager!
I stopped by this Tacos El Tijuanense restaurant to pick up dinner for myself and my wife. I saw their social media video and was tempted to try their Tacos Estilo Tijuana. I called the restaurant but no one picked up so I waited and tried again where someone finally pick up. There was some communication problems because the person couldn't understand my order correctly so I had to repeat it a couple of times. I got the asada regular tacos, asada tacos Tijuana, Pozole, dorados which is their crunchy taco and mulitas. When I arrived to the place, I found parking in the plaza it was in. I had to wait a little inside the restaurant for my food to be ready. You get your own salsa and sides. My wife loved her Pozole when I brought it home. The tacos you have to eat it while it's hot for the best taste. The regular tacos were delicious, the taco Tijuana was whatever to me. My aunt loved the dorados and my wife said the only thing missing with the mulita was the cheese.

This place is such a lovely vibe. I'm coming back. I've always loved their truck and excited they've openned up a restaurant. They have so many seats and it's so colorful here with great Mexican music. The food did not dissapoint. And excited to try their happy hour. The green salsa and pickled onion complimented the quesa birria very well. It's stuffed and filling and perfectly seasoned Be warned that the cashier sometime only speaks Spanish so be prepared to communicate in Spanish even a little bit. They're so nice, friendly and got my order right. Remember to ask for the salsa containers because they're not kept freely by the salsa station.
This place is great. Come here with friends and enjoy some Tijuana style tacos and a pitcher of beer. I frequent this place for lunch on work days. It's one of our "Go to" when we want something quick with good value. Definitely recommended by me.
I randomly stopped this place when stuck in traffic. And I'm glad I did. We had the Tijuanense Fries with carne asada. Bomb. We also got a couple of Tijuana style tacos which were also bomb diggity. And the caldo de birria which was 32 oz of delicious consume and meat. Perfect for a hangover. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great. They also have a great beer selection. I can't wait to return. I'll take pictures this time.
We love eating here best tacos and Ramen Birria. Just make sure you get there a good 30-40min before they close. They will only take your order for take out if its to close to closing.
Legit happy I don’t have to drive to Tijuana to get the quality tacos. Bringing family and coworkers here all the time. There’s something for anybody here, do doubt. Also the staff are super friendly here. Bumping Tupac while watching the Rams game. This is one of the valleys hidden gem, no lie.

First and foremost, thank you Angel for the office lunch feast today 🙂 Now, on to the review... Definitely a new go to spot for birria. I got a chance to taste the birria quesataco and birria mulitas, both were delicious and the consome was very flavorful. Birria is a hit for sure. I also got some asada tacos, which were mid at best - nothing spectacular there. I will be coming back whenever I'm craving birria for sure!
Place was really good ordered some food for take out it was fuego tried it for the first time . I tried taking some salsas to go and they have no lids not sure what's up with that

December 19,2024 I tried their Queso tacos and their carne asada burrito. I honestly didn't like them that much because I have been to other better ones but they're ok. I give this place a 3 star rating.

Ehhhh, I won't be returning. I tried a taco of every meat. The cabeza was good, however, the birreria was bland shredded beef (not juicy), the carne asada was dry and bland and the al pastor was oily and greasy, yet somehow still hard and dry. Totally flavorless. It's like all the meats were reheated and used over and over till they're dried out. Oh, but good salsa bar! Perhaps their other items could be better, but I don't think so with such flavorless and dry meats.
