Was with a large group. We did have 2 servers taking care of us. Service was very good. Lots of different food, appetizers and deserts plus drinks. Everything was running smooth and food came out very good. I would pass on the fresh grilled artichoke, but the dip was fantastic came in a bread bowl. I ordered the filet and lobster tail and was so good.

Go. Just go. The Sunday brunch will blow your mind. I cant even begin to name the variety of food to choose from. The ambiance was beautiful. The service was stellar. The food....my god...the food... sooo good. The background music playing was perfect. I cant wait to go back.
Great views from the top! It’s an incredibly easy walk up and down the hill if you live relatively locally. Great food- and I didn’t even get the steak. So plenty of other options if you’re not feeling the beef flex. L’ognion potage de Francais (French onion soup) was pretty good and the salad is epic. I didn’t try the salad dressings, but I’m sure they’re good too. Cheesy bread was a nice surprise. My non beef main was absolutely incredibly.
We visited for a Christmas brunch, and our company had a private room reserved. The food was good, but the standout was our server, Alfredo. He was excellent, constantly checking in to make sure our drinks were refilled, clearing plates, and very personable. He was truly awesome at his job and made the experience even better! Thank you Alfredo!
Our company hosted our annual holiday celebration at Orange County Mining Company in the Silverado Room, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The space itself was spacious, beautifully arranged, and felt both elegant and welcoming. We were able to customize the linen colors to match our corporate logo as well as the room layout to be best suited for our headcount; as well as the addition of activity tables that allowed us to incorporate fun team activities into the evening. The event team was excellent throughout the entire planning process; professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our event a success. A special shout-out to Christin, Cherokee, and our event captain, Kai, who ensured everything ran seamlessly and that our guests were well taken care of. The attention to detail, professionalism, and warm hospitality truly elevated our celebration. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team and would highly recommend Orange County Mining Company for corporate events or special occasions.
We celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at Orange County Mining Co., and it was such a wonderful experience! The view was beautiful, the food was great, and the service made the night even more special. A special thank you to Sonali, who gave us the best service ever — she’s always smiling, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. We absolutely loved her positive attitude and warm personality. She really added joy to our evening. Highly recommend this place and Sonali’s amazing service!
We’re visiting from Las Vegas and brunch often, but this by far was the BEST experience we’ve had! Well worth the price—about $50 per person with bottomless mimosas. 🍾✨ Our server, Belen, made everything even better. She wasn’t just attentive—she truly connected with her tables, built a rapport, and enthusiastically shared all the amazing things the restaurant has to offer. Honestly, Belen alone will be the reason we return! The food was absolutely delicious, too. Don’t sleep on this spot—you’ll regret missing it. Thank you for making our trip unforgettable!
Came for a family celebration; none of us had ever been here… From entrance to exit the service was exceptional. Lalla was extraordinarily spectacular! The ambiance/underground mining decor (awesome throughout,) killer views (!) … and then the food! Chicken Picatta, Prime Rib and Filet Mignon were exceptional. Our only regret is not being aware of this sooner!
Great food and great service. The Ambiance based on the view is amazing. The location is great easy to get to from Imperial Highway or even the 241. I recommend the prime rib dinner and the salad bar. The drinks are strong enough try to get the tables on the outside as they are heated. Charming decor pays tribute to California's gold mining legacy. A perfect date location. The cheese bread is a rich treat, very delicious. Try to make reservations as they fill up with special events.

Great food & great service! Wonderful view. Best steakhouse in OC. _____________________

Old timey lowkey themed steakhouse. Really enjoyed the ambiance and the kitchyness of the place. Food was all good. Not Michelin star, but that's not what you're paying for. Make the trip, try this joint, and enjoy the view. The view almost kicked it up to 5 stars!
Please do yourself a favor & ask the waiter for no salt or light salt. My steak & rice was way over salted. (Wife's also)Spoiled what could have been a great meal. Mud pie is awesome. This has to be one of the best locations for an anniversary date night. Staff were great location & views amazing .
Came here for Mother's Day brunch. All of the staff were really nice from the valet to the waiter. There were beautiful views overlooking Orange County. We normally go to the Pomona valley mining company, but we had such a bad experience with their horrible staff and management that we decided to drive a bit farther and try this spot. All in all the food was pretty much the same. Looooved the crab legs. Shrimp was ok and so were the ribs and salad. Salmon was delish. I have to say I thought it was annoying that they split the food in separate rooms. I got French toast in one room and had to go to the other room for syrup and pancakes and other breakfast items. That didn't make sense to any of us. We had a great waiter Leif who was fun. He was very attentive kept the bottomless mimosas flowing and really made our time at this restaurant enjoyable. In conclusion, this place was just like Pomona, but the service was top tier. I don't think it's worth the drive from LA, but I will do anything for my mom so if she wants to come back next year, I will be here.
Dinner with a View We recently dined at this lovely restaurant, and the sunset view did not disappoint. The food was a mixed bag, but some highlights stood out. The filet mignonette was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. However, when we requested horseradish, we were surprised to hear they didn't have any. The grilled salmon was fresh and expertly cooked, but the accompanying sauce was overly sweet and syrupy. Despite some minor missteps, we enjoyed our meal and the stunning view. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.
Went with friends for dinner. Food was decent enough, but of the 8 adults, two had to send their meal back. One was a steak cooked well-done when medium rare was ordered. The other was a side of scallops that were cold when they should have been hot/very warm in butter sauce. The soup and salad bar were included with entree meals. It was on the small side, but seemed fresh and fully stocked. The 4 soups were chicken, French onion and chile. The French onion was tasty but watery and not thick like most French onion soups are in higher end restaurant. My prime rib was cooked as ordered. It was tender and tasty! It is easily one of the noisier restaurants I have been to. The larger party close to us were enjoying themselves VERY loudly. The service was good without being great. Once the sun went down The views were wonderful!
The views from this restaurant are gorgeous. You can see Disneyland fireworks from the windows. It is nicely themed inside. They have an open salad and soup bar with chilled serving pans. The food was decently cooked and you get A LOT on your plate. It makes for a nice date night spot, but don't expect amazing food. You come for the great views and setting. Our server was exceptionally nice.

Came for dinner on a busy Saturday night and had to use the valet service as it was the only option. It was reasonable at $9. The restaurant was packed and it was very lively and quite noisy. It was hard to hear conversation at your own table. Our server and all the staff, were very friendly and polite. They all get a 5/5. The service was quite slow at times and there were long stretches in between visits and food being delivered but probably because it was so busy. The food was fine. It was good but nothing spectacular that made you say it was the best meal you ever had. I found most of the items to be lacking in flavor but everything was prepared very well. The creamed corn was a standout however. The salad bar offered typical salad bar fare, like lettuce, veggies, fruit, pasta salad etc. Again, nothing that really stood out. We got lucky and were seated by the windows overlooking the view so we got to see the sunset and the skyline lit up. Many people went outside to take pictures as it is very lovely from up there. Overall, it was a “fine” experience. Not great but not bad either. If you want to have decent food and see the scenery, then this is a good option.
Underwhelming. I remember coming here years ago and it was fantastic. I know the pandemic effected alot of restaurants, but we were really looking forward to the large salad bar.....now it is a fraction of what it used to be. Food was still good, not sure if we will come back any time soon though
Our waitresses were incredibly kind and their service was good so this review has nothing to do with them at all. We love the mining company but unfortunately our experience last night was disappointing. We had reservations and checked in and were told to wait either outside or at the bar while they prepared our table. We were then seated after a couple minutes in a room in the opposite direction to the main dining room and salad bar. The room we were seated in honestly looked like it had been already used by wedding guests earlier that day. The tablecloth was dirty with food stains from the previous people who sat there and the table was really wobbly. I was excited to visit mining company for a special date night (that we really don’t get to have often) but felt disappointed that we couldn’t sit in the main dining hall where the salad bar is with nicer tables and a more romantic date night environment. To visit the salad bar from this room you have to walk past the bar and past the hostess stand into the main dining room which is just awkward because there’s a ton of foot traffic especially in front of the hostess stand. When we went to the salad bar, I was even more disappointed to find out that the main dining hall had numerous tables open that we could’ve been sat at.. we didn’t necessarily care for one with a good view either and last night was actually the most empty I’ve ever seen mining company. Overall.. for an almost $200 meal I was disappointed by the very odd seating situation. I don’t know what management was thinking with seating guests there. The food was nothing to complain about and the seating situation I’m describing sounds very much like a first world problem but I’m leaving this review so hopefully this doesn’t happen to other people because I can tell that the couples that were also seated in this room were not happy. Again, for an almost $200 meal i would expect better.
The drinks were good. The food was okay. The bread was disappointing. The salad bar was really good. Loved the view. Service was good. Overall I liked it but didn't love it sadly.
Not very upfront and honest about the parking being “free”. We were forced to use valet and charged for it, then the valet expects a tip, ridiculous. The website states “free parking”. Food choice was good, but the pancakes were cold. The bacon was barely cooked and when we asked if we could have better done bacon, we were told no. Our table server was great. Our bill came to $600for our party, add a good tip, no problem, but to then be charged with parking without it being posted, ??????? Even to be charged for parking on their own lot, a bit greedy. You don’t feel very welcome
