This is a must go East Orange donut shop. You get what you pay for and that's quality. You know how you can tell when you have an unforgettable donut experience? Eat it the next day. I can say that Friendly Doughnuts are resilient, maintain their freshness where you taste equal amounts of dough, icing and filling (i.e., the creme brulee, the eclair bar). It was late at night and I was thinking about donuts, so I came to this place since i wanted to try this place for a while. First of all, the outside of the donut shop was very cute and the inside was also cute. The display case was full of donuts and the staff kindly guided me. There was one recommended donut, as well as maple bar, twist, and strawberry vegan donuts. I bought it and gave them mochi nuts as a service. Even the donut box was cute. I ate the maple bar as soon as I got in the car and it was so delicious. It was a little thinner than the maple bars at other places, but it was very delicious, and the vegan donuts and twisted donuts were also very delicious.

Awesome delicious donuts. Variety of unique flavors and they have so many classic options. Got a dozen plus they were doing an awesome Mother’s Day special so we got those too. Definitely will be coming back. They also have lots of coffee options and looks like they have their regular customers which is a good sign.

These are the BEST donuts in the world, hands down, and you can find a line here any time or day of the week and rightfully so. Not only are these donuts GIANT and covered in so many toppings, but they also have every flavor under the sun like dossants (donut-croissant hybrids) and mochi donuts, you name it, which they rotate monthly so it’s physically impossible to order only one. I got the French cream which I was very excited for, and a box of all their monthly flavors, each one was a 10 out of 10, and pairing them with an iced Zebra mocha only felt right. They were so good, I had to go back a second day in a row, but this time I tried their Friendly sliders which are incredible. It has bacon, avocado, spicy aioli, and cheese all on Hawaiian bread. Drove past this donut shop and saw that it was vegan. So I decided to turn back around and try them out. It was Sunday morning and they were a little busy, but they were very well in control of the customer flow. Customer service was great. Very friendly and they make you feel very welcomed. They have a very good selection of donuts. The donuts themselves are very soft and tender. The taste is better then the donuts you try at other shops. Keep in mind they're pricey but they're a MUST try!

Our daughter have food allergies to dairy and eggs. So thankful we found this place that offers delicious vegan donuts. We always stock up when we visit and freeze them individually for her to take out when she wants a safe sweet treat.

We love Friendly Donuts! We have been coming here for years. Our favorites are the Ube donuts and the breakfast sandwiches. We went through phases of loving the French cream, the dossants, mochi donuts, and guava fritters as well. The jalapeno ham and cheese croissants are also delicious. Service is always excellent.

Friendly's delivered the spread of pink boxes to Hewes for middle school fundraisers. I stayed in Key Club for an extra year to make sure I always had first shot at Friendly's apple fritters. Friendly's is the best of SoCal doughnut culture. Generational expertise across the classics: Buttermilk Bars and French Crullers and huge glazed raised. They've always had a range of "fancy" doughnuts, but that menu started expanding dramatically in the 2010s. Now Friendly's is full of "new classics" like Ube cake, mochi old fashioned, and more iced/topped/frosted concoctions than my eye can parse. I've lived around the globe, and I'm not truly home in SoCal until I've had a Tiger Tail and a Jalapeño croissant. Dad, I Love Friendly's!

Have horchata ready if the meal is too spicy. ***Recommendations to La Bahia*** Low carb and low sugar items like fresh lemonade with minimal sugar or no sugar. Low carb tortillas options. Provide nutritional content for items, as it will help people make healthier decisions. Maybe some nice live music on weekends, but not loud. Someone who can do Mexican music but with an ameican twist or vice versa American music with a Mexican twist. I like the calm atmosphere of this restaurant. If people want mariachi, I would recommend keeping it outside on the patio only. Changing the restaurant too much might lose the authenticity because locals may like it's simplified traditional mexican fashion. Really enjoyed this place. A lot more variety than your typical Mexican restaurant and at least to me it felt a lot more authentic as well. My wife really enjoyed it as well. Only suggestion I would give the restaurant is to heat the plates before serving because the plates were very cool causing the food to get cold much quicker.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ostioneria Bahia in Orange, CA, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality, as if we were family. The staff promptly seated us, and I immediately ordered a coffee and a glass of water. To my delight, the coffee arrived quickly and was freshly brewed, setting the tone for the meal ahead. As we settled in, tostada chips and salsa were brought to the table. The chips were warm and crispy, and the salsa was absolutely delicious. For starters, I decided to try the Botana Bahia, which included a small shrimp cocktail, shrimp tostada, fish ceviche tostada, and half a dozen oysters. The oysters arrived first, and although I expected them to taste strongly of the ocean, they surprised me with their refreshing and incredibly fresh flavor. The shrimp cocktail was a true standout, loaded with plump shrimp and perfectly seasoned. I added a dash of Tapatio for an extra kick, and it was a flavor explosion. The shrimp ceviche tostada was piled high with shrimp and tasted amazing, while the fish ceviche had a well-balanced ratio of meat to vegetables and was marinated to perfection. The addition of jalapeños provided a pleasant spice, while the cucumbers kept the dish refreshingly cool. Next, I ordered the Filete a la Diabla, a fillet of fish grilled in hot sauce. Let me tell you, the Filete a la Diabla at Ostioneria Bahia is my absolute favorite. The spicy and delicious flavor is expertly balanced, allowing the flavor of the fish to shine through. The garlicky toasted pepper taste adds a wonderful depth of flavor that is truly delightful. Accompanied by a side of refried beans and white rice, the dish was a complete masterpiece. The beans melted in my mouth, and the rice was cooked to a perfect buttery texture. What impressed me just as much as the food was the impeccable service throughout the meal. My water glass and coffee were consistently refilled, and empty plates and trash were promptly cleared away, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. In conclusion, my overall experience at Ostioneria Bahia was exceptional, and I can confidently say that I will be a regular customer. From the warm greeting at the door to the delicious food and attentive service, everything was top-notch. I highly recommend visiting Ostioneria Bahia for a memorable dining experience that will leave you craving more.

Stopped by to check out the themed or special donuts. Host was friendly and answered questions regarding the donuts. Chose a Churro mochi donut and a Cookies and Creme mochi donut. In addition also got a French Culler ( this was delicious). My eyes saw a Creme filled one that I had to try but waaaay to much Creme for my taste. Location was quite clean. It also had mugs shaped as donuts. Also against one wall there was a mural for taking pictures.

This was my third time coming to this place as I was invited to dine in at this place, the food isn’t bad but not my favorite, especially when they’re so cheap on tortillas, they give you just two regular ( not hand made) tortillas!. I was charged for four baskets of tostadas as they don’t offer chips, the service wasn’t great or even good as we had to be chasing around the waitress for drinks. The food needs a little more love but like I said it’s not that bad I give it 4 out of 5. (P.s the cake was baked my my kid)

This restaurant used to have good quality food, but as time passed by the quality of the food has dropped on flavor and quality, to the contrary of prices for plate.
