Opinions de Rockin Fish Northport
This place is amazing. Dollar oysters happy hour from 4-6 everyday. I had half a dozen oysters, a local Northport beer, and the mushroom ravioli in a lemon butter sauce. Everything was delicious. Would recommend.
Sister restaurant to crossroads in East Northport, this place has great food and great service. When my Thanksgiving plans fell through they actually called their other location to make me a reservation. During the pandemic their take out has remained a welcome indulgence when I'm sick to death of my own kitchen.
Great restaurant. We dined outside. Menu mostly fish. Only thing other than fish were the salads and a pork chop dish parm...slightly disappointed because I dont eat fish. (Friends picked the restaurant) Waitress very nice. My salad was very good and my table friends stated their fish dishes and appetizers were delicious.
Great atmosphere, service, and conversation! Great place to be! The wings are super cripsy and we had the fried Oreos which were amazing! Vanessa and Melissa were very hospitable and we will definitely be back!
Friendly staff. Marge the hostess was amazing. Jizelle our server was the best. They made our experience there even more enjoyable. Food was great and the way the owner treats his staff was amazing. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful night.
Wonderful place. Food is always above and beyond. My girlfriend and I love to enjoy the craft brews, zucchini fries and cod blt as the usual, but love to try new things and they are always great. Fun atmosphere and great/friendly staff. Highly suggest you stop in!
Great happy hour with about 20 friends. Very friendly and attentive service.
One time, I had a fried chicken sandwich wrapped in a jelly donut. I haven't seen it here since, but I still dream about it. The interesting concoctions is my favorite part of this place. The indoor space leaves plenty to be desired but the outdoor seating is great. Go for the oyster happy hour. Yup, you read that correctly. Consistently one of my top restaurants in Northport.
Everything was wonderful. Our waitress Vanessa was perfect. She was helpful with suggestions from the menu and very pleasant. We had the fried oysters. Yum.. And a raw oyster and tuna appetizer also 😋. And the music selection was great. Good people, great food and music 🎶
You'll always get an excellent meal here! Creative appetizers, delicious abundant entrees, both local and diverse craft beers & wines maintained by a knowledgeable and friendly staff. It's like going to a good friend's house to have fun and eat delicious food.
Probably my favorite restaurant in Northport Village. A solid variety of food, a robust beer and wine list (always including a couple beers from the local brewery), and polite and attentive staff. Not the cheapest eats in the area for sure, but if you favor quality over bang for your buck, absolutely worth a visit or three.
Those of you who rely on my reviews know that I give an honest impression whether the place was good or not so much. Tonight, we had an excellent meal, with excellent service and a comfortable atmosphere, consistent with past experience. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you, Rockin' Fish!!
Outstanding service by a lovely waitress who has a lot of kids. We enjoyedcthe outdoor seating and the great food. We will be back
Great restaurant for fish dishes. I tried the red snapper special which was totally delicious. I have also stopped there for lunch and they have an amazing cod sandwich which i love. They have a mixed menu of deliciously prepared food that is a must go for fish lovers. Enjoy as much as i did.
Love this restaurant especially in the summer season when you can dine outdoors. They have a great happy hour menu. great prices on the raw bar, and Rob. the owner has successfully done it again, he also owns Crossroads,
My spouse and I finally ventured out during the pandemic for a nice afternoon lunch to one of our favorite area, Northport, for another visit to Rockin' Fish. As always, we were pleased with all their offerings; from drinks (margarita sampler and MTK IPA) to their entrees and desserts. As a diabetic, I was happy there was a substitution for the starch to save some for a delicious peanut buttery dessert. The table outside was a bit wobbly, but it was not an issue as the server had a quick fix for it. We left happy and full. We are looking for our next visit!
Always good food. Bartender seemed bothered but gave ok service.
I think this is the best restaurant in the village. First, it's an absolutely beautiful building and the outdoor space in the evening is real cool. The beer selection is always very good. They have a pretty big menu, I always stick to my favorites-Cod BLT, fried chicken wrap, or a burger. The service is excellent. I think they do a great job at this restaurant.
I love this place! Happy hour oysters are a steal at just $1.50 per oyster, plus it's in downtown Northport. Highly recommend the lemon sauteed oyster special! Oysters were fresh and are from the Long Island sound so they're definitely fresh. Service was great - will be back.
This was our first time coming to this place with my husband. We were driving after the beach. Fried and broiled oysters were delicious. I enjoyed my 4 mini mimosa shots. Brie & Fig Crostini appetizer was good, but I expected a bit more brie cheese on a few pieces of bread. I would definitely come again.
Really good Food and wonderful outdoor seating. The wait staff was very helpful with suggestions and steering up in the right direction.
I went with 3 other people we sat outside . The environment was pleasant . Garden like with outdoor tables and bistro lights . The server was pleasant and knowledgeable. The menu was definitely too large. It was almost like I was at a diner. It's something they can scale down on . I had a simple linguine with clamsauce it was good. I have had better . Over all I enjoyed the variety of beers available and my visit was enjoyable.
We had a great lunch outdoors here yesterday. Everything was perfect. We had a burger that was delicious on a pretzel roll, and a fried fish sandwich. French fries nice and crispy. So easy to be here with everyone friendly, responsive and fun. We sat under a very large umbrella that kept us comfortable on a very hot day. Our server Jack was part of the great meal. We ordered a flight of beer that we shared and went well with our meal. Jack was wonderful at taking care of us and was very responsive to our dog, too! Best restaurant experience in a very long time. Will definitely return.
Went on a quick google search, reviews were good, and I was not disappointed. Diane, the server was great, the food was very good, and the village is very cute. Will go back again soon.
Great food in a casual atmosphere. Great service (our waitress was very attentive). Service was fast! We had the whole fish grilled and the grouper special. Very yummy! Would go back if I was in the area!
We had dinner at Rockin' Fish tonight and everything was excellent! The food came out pretty quickly, especially the $1.50 oysters. They were really fresh! The entrees--one off the specials menu, one from the permanent menu--were really tasty as well. Service was great, too! I think it just became our Go-To when around Northport.
A great hangout, not over-blown or dramatic. Simple place to grab a beer, enjoy some good food and relax. If you're a beer drinker, and are sick of the 1 million IPA brands, check out a true UK beer called "Old Speckled Hen". This is the only place I've seen on Long Island that has it on tap! Oi! Cheers to the Scots!!
We always have dinner at Rockin' Fish before going to the Northport Theater. The food is always excellent and served with a smile. Vanessa knows us and what we both like to eat!! I love the relaxed atmosphere and how it's decorated!! Comfortable and welcoming!! Thank you Vanessa! Claire and Dan (burger well, well, well done!)
Excellent local place. Staff is awesome. Food and drinks are great. Definitely recommend a visit if in the area.
My wife really enjoyed the variety of oysters offered. The hamburger was OK, but the fries were really good. I got the pork chop pizza, glad it had no crustexcept for some bread crumbs. I enjoyed the dish and the sauce on the cutlet was great. I would have loved a vegetable like green beans or spaghetti squash to go with. They could have left off the jalapeños. Food was very tasty and service was very good.
Recently moved to Northport and haved enjoyed exploring and discovering all kinds of good bar/restaurants, beach, harbor and overall "village" vibe; now I know why everyone lives here forever...:) When my "oldest" friend Ross (friends since 1969!) decided to get together catch up a bit, we discussed a few options and Rockin' Fish was the winner and it certainly was a great experience! Located in the heart of Northport Village, small place (our visit being in winter, obviously large outdoor area not available), no reservation, Friday at 5:30, parking available right outside. Offered a sweet bar-style table by the window with smiles and friendly manager. No rush attentive and friendly service by everyone. Prix-Fixe menu not only if you are attending a play up the block (we weren't) and Ross ordered off that menu. I had the Cod Fish tacos appetizer and Salmon entree. Both excellent and delicious. My usual Moscow Mule and Ross had a flight off the beer selection. The waitress Liz was great. Really nice, cool chick! Was very attentive and cared very much if we were happy with everything. Even listened to our stories lol...She gets 10 stars 🌟 ⭐️ lol. Overall, Rockin' Fish is certainly a great part of the Northport Village Sweet vibe. Go and enjoy, with family, friends or a romantic date-night. ☺️
"We had a truly delightful outdoor dining experience, made even better by Christine’s impeccable service—attentive and top-notch. The food was equally impressive, with the seafood specialties standing out as particularly delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking exceptional cuisine, a great outdoor ambiance, and warm, professional service."
Lovely outdoor dining, with pets ok, even give a dog bowl for water. Appetizer of baked clams was delicious, and stuffed tuna sushi was the freshest sushi we ever had. Entree of cod with crab meat was amazing, and the red snapper, shrimp and clams with olives and capers was a hit!! Dessert of black cherry ricotta cheesecake was smooth and creamy with fresh whipped cream. The key lime pie had bits of lime zest and beat out any key lime pie we ever had. Definitely try the leinenkugal summer shandy, it's the perfect refreshing summer beer.
Excellent service. Nice atmosphere to bring out of towners. Food was delicious. A bit pricey but worth it. Loved our server she was very sweet.
I haven't had oysters since 1987. I had to order a few just to see if I would acquire a taste for them on my second try. Still not feeling it.... I'll stick with my little neck clams on the half shell. Very pricey here. 4 mini lobster tacos $18. When they say mini, they mean mini. Nice atmosphere and our waitress was very friendly.
Good food. Service is mostly good except for a slightly undercooked burger. Desert was good. Tables are cozy which means a little tight to get out of the high tops. But ambiance is nice and outdoor dining in warm months is quite nice.
I've enjoyed every experience I've had here. The food is always interesting. The staff has always been fun. I also met the love of my life getting up from an sidewalk table, (so I will always have fond memories and great things to say about the place) but I will continue to go because it is just that good.
Personally, I love this place. My wife and I go here when we’re visiting my parents in Northport. The raw oysters happy hour is an amazingly fun way to waste away an hour. The location is on a gorgeous part of Main Street. The building has high ceilings and beautiful windows in front. You can eat outside on the path leading back towards the old ( ORIGINAL original ) Harbor & Trading. Things like calamari and other fried fish is the strength here. I thought the service was fine as well.
The wait for outside dining was over 40 minutes over the Labor Day weekend. Disappointed, but we opted for the inside dining. Inside was typical, slightly dark, tables near bar but not noisy. What attracted us in was the $1 oyster specials. Oysters were good but it was served with only cocktail sauce and vinegary sauce. I prefer horseradish & Tabasco. I ordered the Stuffed Red Snapper and wife ordered Lasagna. The Snapper was overwhelmed by the crabmeat stuffing. The Lasagna was ok. Overall, eating on Main Street in Northport was a treat.
The oysters were awesome. Never had anything like it. But I got the crab cake BLT and it was just ok. Too much bread for my taste. I'd definitely go back for the oysters but would need to be sold on the other food.
We brought our son in his stroller. They were very accommodating. $1 blueprint oyster happy hour was a real eye catcher. The friend green tomato sandwich was real southern comfort. The Montauk bass was a flavor explosion with olives and spices.
Loved the outside ambiance and the food was delish! It was Mothers Day and we were spending time the 2 of us, but I Frankly felt bad when the check came and a Cosmo was a whopping $22.00! Of course if the kid is driving mother will indulge on that special day, but I didn’t want her to feel like I was taking advantage 😂 either! She is a good kid and paid the bill and insisted I not kick in. It was $18.00 for the drink and a $4.00 up charge for a martini 😉 Was it because it was Mothers Day?
This is a very cute place in downtown Northport Village. This is an older building which many of them are, so the exposed brick as part of the decor is very cool. The old door at the entry foyer is definitely cool. The food is good...not unbelievable.. but good... The prices are a bit high for what the portions are and the quality of the food... The desserts were probably the best part... The red Sangria was "ok" not fabulous. The waitress Stephanie was great. Really nice, cool chick! Was very attentive and cared very much if we were happy with everything. She gets 10 stars 🌟 ⭐️ lol. The place is pretty small and also a little too bright... All in all was cute and decent.
Happy hour $1 blue points just like NYC!!! As for the entrees, eh, it could be much better. I thought the entrees were mediocre to below par at best for the price I was paying. Ordered a tuna and a salmon dish. Tuna dish was a 1 star that was a waste of a tuna. Salmon dish was overcooked and just ok at best, a 3 star. If you're into IPAs, then this is a great place to go. If you prefer hard liquor, you're out of luck here. 4 stars for the 4 dozen blue points I ordered, 2 stars for the rest of the food and drink options. 5 stars for outdoor seating. 1 star for allowing dogs at outdoor seating.
Visited on a quiet night with 3 other family members. Everyone else loved their meal and was sure to voice their opinion multiple times. I had the Cajun salmon and shrimp, pictured. The shrimp were great but the salmon definitely lacked Cajun flavor and was a little over cooked on one side. I also had the mimosa flight special which was fantastic as well as the fried buffalo cauliflower which was also quite tasty. Our service was great: friendly but left us alone to enjoy our meal. The menu was a bit pricy, but portions were big. Would recommend and would visit again.
So me and my partner went to Northport to have a nice romantic evening together . We walked around and stumbled upon this restaurant, very aesthetically pleasing and the menu options were great! So we put our name in and they said itd be about 30 mins . Ended up being over an hour , but we finally sat down . The appetizers (fried pickles and stuffed clams) were alright . The clams were mushy which I didn't enjoy. Then our entrees which he got a red sauce with oysters and linguine and I got a garlic type sauce with oysters and linguine. We both agreed the fish and pasta had a dusty type flavor . I dont know how to describe it but honestly wasn't impressed. The drinks were probably the best part , I got a raspberry cider which was delightful and he got a pumpkin beer which was very good. I wouldn't go back to be completely honest.
I really want to like this place. It’s cute and could be trendy. Every time I eat inside it feels very disorganized. One time there was boxes everywhere, for instance. The entrees are just…not very good. For the price I’m expecting some decent seafood and I’m disappointed each time. It’s not terrible, but there are better options in Northport.
The salads were so bland. I used to love it here. The steam dumplings were cold in the middle. However the waitress and manager really checked when we asked if certain fish was really wild caught. The service 5 stars the food meh! It may have been what we had but wasn't a meal I would go back for!
Went for oyster special "happy hour" , while inexpensive, they were very small. They had an oyster dish, which included ahi tuna, which was an absolute disgrace. The server agreed and gave us a round of beers.
Went to Rockin’ Fish on a Friday night and had a nice dinner. For starters I had the dumplings and my wife had the mussels which were both good. For entrees my wife had the fish and chips while had the swordfish. Everything is a little spicy but not over bearing, just the right amount of spice. The bread dish was nice and the service is great.
Mussels were sandy and too salty; fig and Brie appetizer was bland and bread did not taste fresh …. Watermelon salad was not ripe and dressing did not complement the salad😥 atmosphere is great - so sad that food was not.
Slow service on a slow Monday night. Raw oysters were very tasty, only 1 piece of shell. Cod was amazing. Garlic parm toast, not so much. Good beer list. Could use some outdoor music.
Fried calamari was excellent as an app. But the fish and chips were not. The fish was frozen processed like what you buy in the supermarket. Two pieces, exactly the same size and shape, not batter dipped. Disgusting.
Bad experience. I've been here a few times and loved the food and the dog friendly atmosphere. This time the service was not good at all. Had to wait 10 minutes for our waitress to come over. Took 30 minutes for our drinks to come at the same time as our food. They forgot to order my daughter's dessert. It started to rain and it seemed like they forgot all about us. The fish taco had too much sauce. I did enjoy the sushi roll though. Very good. Hopefully if there is a next time it will be better.
Having read the reviews, we might have passed but we were referred to Rockin' Fish by an acquaintance so we thought we'd give it a try. Bottom line is that the prices are not commensurate with the overall experience. The food was OK as well as the atmosphere and the service. Nothing special to warrant such high prices. Adding salmon to a salad was $20 on top of the price of the salad. A house cabernet had no price on the menu and was $12 for maybe a 4oz pour. There are likely better choices in Northport so we will try other restaurants.
Most of the dishes that came out were ok except the chicken Parm which was not edible. Thin, hard, more like chicken jerky... Had to be sent back for something different. The fish and chips were fine as were other dishes like the stupid chicken sandwich but nothing wowing. The beer choices were good (sand city 10%? Was amazing in taste) and the coffee was the best I've had in town at a restaurant. Service was very good. Highlights were beer, coffee and service.
Food was good, service was too. The 3 star rating is because a waiter dropped my meal in my lap - which I didn't mind too much - but there was no comp on the bill, not even a discount on the item! A stain (literally) on an otherwise fine meal.
I love this place atmosphere wonderful staff always smiling. Very disappointed in food. Everything was so salty. Wings and zuccini so so salty. Breading must have been made wrong. I wanted chicken without any seasoning and I got a grilled salty chicken plus they weren't very accommodating with special request because it was sat night....not a good policy.. We were a large party . Everyone is drinking tons water. Food is made well no need to add all that salt...it will keep me from coming back unfortunately.
The food itself wasn't bad, but I don't think it is worth it for the price. Our fish was dry, the shrimp was a little bland, and it didn't taste like things were cooked with salt. The oysters were very good though.
Very mediocre night out. First the only alcohol served is beer and wine. Beer selection is okay with ample choices. We ordered clams on the half shell for appetizers, and they were very fresh and good, but at two bucks a piece, a little steeper than other places. Also ordered the fried calamari which was done well. Main course for my girlfriend and I was onion crusted grouper, and fish du jour, which was grilled striped bass with vegetables and was told it came with rice. The grouper was good but very small, as was my striped bass which is cooked as a whole fish. I actually measured the fish and it came to 11 in with the head and the tail, so something doesn't seem right there as I don't believe you're allowed to catch drive past that small. The fish was cooked well but so small that it was unbelievably annoying to eat as it had many small bones for such a small fish. Had the fish been a larger size they are certainly would have been more meat to pick from the bones. A friend of ours ordered the fish and chips, which was fried cod but when she opened the filet, the fish was Brown inside, obviously from overcooking so it was sent back. My other friend had the same Dish as I did only he had a deep fried. Again the flavor was okay but a very small fish, too small to be legal in my opinion. Also my rice was delivered as mashed potato. I didn't mind so I didn't say anything. They didn't charge us for the fish and chip meal but for the remaining three meals appetizers and drinks which was only two beers and a mock margarita, came to $193 before tip. Certainly not worth the trip back. They need to fix a few things. The server was extremely friendly and kind though which was the Saving Grace of the place.
A portion of overcooked cajun shrimp consists of 4 (four) mini shrimp. Meatball special served in at least three day old bread… Don’t want to go into all the details, but we tried 4 different entrees , and all four were bland and truly poorly presented… tasted almost like canned food. Really disappointed.
Not sure why this place is listed as a $ when it should be at least a $$. They had no official kids menu and when asked only offered chicken tenders or pasta with sauce. Two of my kids wanted plain burgers so they charged us full price $18 each. Worst part was that my son only ate half his burger so I tried the other half. It was flavorless. I've had better tasting burgers for 1/3 the price. Beer prices were also a bit steep. $7 for a pint of Narragansett? Ouch! My linguini with clams ($24) was ok. Cost me $$160 including 20% tip for a family of 5 (three kids: 14, 10, and 8). 1 drink for each parent, no coffee or dessert.
The crab cake blt was delicious. We ordered the truffle fries on the side instead of regular fries. Extra &5 and they were absolutely horrible in taste . Don’t waste your money. Soda: beware: not free to refill! And a 3.50 convenience fee to use a credit card. Theee of us had lunch and it was $130! We had a burger. Blt, and fish and chips! No alcohol. Complete rip off!
Pretty bad. Some food too hot like it was in the microwave too long, some food room temperature and cold in the middle like it wasn't in there long enough. We couldn't stomach most of it. Left hungry. Later on we heard they don't cook the food there, it's cooked at another place they own, froze and reheated when ordered. Waitress was very sweet, hence the extra star.
Been there at least a dozen times....never once did either of the owners come say hello. Saw them both again today, assuming I have the right people, once again they walked right by without even a "hello nod". Oysters tasted "watered" down...as if they were rinsed after being shucked then put back in the shell. The waiter was a nice hard working kid and the beer was cold.
The best way to describe this place is: "okay, mediocre." Nothing was bad but nothing was good either. Considering the prices of the food, it's not worth it. It's disappointing because this place has a lot of potential - great outdoor seating, and the staff are friendly, waitress was great. Unfortunately the food is just really not that good. There are better places to eat in this area. Also, there's a cigar shop across the street and we could smell the smoke throughout dinner; it was awful. If you go and sit outside, try to sit far from the entrance.
I disliked this restaurant. We ordered the tuna nachos, tuna rolls, and fish & chips with two beers. $100 bill. There were four tuna nachos (long oil-fried strips of tortilla with a small piece of tuna on top for $20). The tuna roll was $27, and it was four pieces of tuna stuffed with imitation crabmeat. The fish & chips were more batter than they were fish. It was just ridiculously overpriced for the poor food quality. I'm local but will not be going back for anything but a beer and atmosphere.
Food was good. Great atmosphere. Our waitress was very nice. 2 stars because there was another waitress there that was helping with our waitress. She was very rude and very unfriendly. Was even talking about a customer to another customer at another table. Tall with short hair. You just don’t do that or act that way in this line of work. For that, I don’t think we will be back.
Friday 6/20 at 6pm. Service, atmosphere, and drinks were fine. I really never write bad reviews but, The food was basically inedible. No taste and no seasoning. Steamers had no seasoning or taste. Crab cake and fried oysters were so overdone, they were terrible. Fries were the only thing we finished. Not sure what happened to this place.
The staff was nice, the atmosphere was too. Sat down to enjoy some seafood in Northport village. The crab cake contained 0 crab, 100% imitation meat. For $16 + tax and tip you'd expect at least a little crab in a "crab cake". Oh well. I ordered the baked clams too. The baked clams contained no clams. Rocknfish is a seafood place that doesn't actually serve any seafood. A shame Spent $85 for 2 good beers and no good food
I had spaghetti and clams definitely o verly priced. Baked clams more like baked stuffing no clams also over priced. I used to like the restaurant, unfortunately you ve seen the last of us
Ordered a lamb gyro but got a beef one instead, and the meat was rancid and overdone. The french fries weren't made fresh -- they were frozen. I'm sorry for all the nice and friendly people who have to work here. I could hardly manage to tell them the food coming out of their kitchen was terrible and severely overpriced.
Aweful food. Aweful service. We waited an extremely long time for our food. They did not serve us bread to start even though most other tables had bread. Not kid friendly, no high chairs, plastic cups, or kids menu. The fish is flavorless. Chicken is undercooked and rubbery. Server barely comes by and takes forever when we asked for additional items. Dropped off the check and never came for payment. We have tried this place in the past and decided to give it another chance. Same experience. We will not be back.
The staff could not be more clueless- like deer in headlights level. Called a few minutes in advance to ask about outdoor table availability for 5 and was told “sure plenty of room come on down”. Got there 5 minutes later and was told the wait was 45 mins. Super aggravating. So we put our name in and strolled around town. Checked back in after 40 minutes, and was met with more befuddled stares and told it would be another 30-40. Please train your staff or hire more competent people.
We went to this place as a group and while this place had enough room to accomodate all of us we wish we chose somewhere else. Three of us ordered the baked lasagna and when it came it looked very appealing and exotic. Then came the taste test and It felt like they put cheese on cardboard, It was awful. It was definately not what I was expecting. The best way to describe this dish is a beauty with no brains, while it looked good on the outiside it was it was empty and bland on the inside.
From the moment we walked in the service was terrible. The only staff member working wasn't friendly, welcoming or kind. This place is not child friendly and does not have high chairs or booster seats. She served our sodas with five icecubes and they were flat and tasted like the lines needed to be cleaned. No free refills by the way, which she didn't mention. The food took a long time to come out. The lobster bisque had no chunks of lobster and tasted like wall grout. Overall, a bad experience. We will not be back.
My wife and I had dinner there Mon 11/9/20. The beers were the only thing to write about. I had the Atlantic Grouper...it was terrible and the vegetables were flavorless. My wife's fish sandwich was worse than any pub food we've had. Spent $80 for terrible food and 2 good beers.
Disappointed. For a fish place they don’t know how to properly broil fish. My fish was uncooked and soggy. Fish also had s bad smell a sign that it’s not fresh. We spent over $350 for 7 people and nobody was happy with the expensive and poor quality food. The place was nearly empty Sunday evening compared to other restaurants in Northport. We ended up here because Robkye in Northport was busy with a long wait for table. Will never go to Rocking Fish again.
Went with my mom and got the oysters during happy hour which were amazing! But thinking about it how do you mess up oysters? Anyways then we got the tuna nachos and arugula salad. Not good at all. Tuna nachos were 4 pieces of crunchy flatbread in triangles which a tiny sliver of tuna and shredded cheese melted on it. Not worth 22 dollars. Then the arugula salad was literally like a handful of beets and like no goat cheese. Only reason I would go back is for the oysters to be completely honest.
Nothin rockin here. Our server was excellent, staff was kind but the food was anything but. Crostini was a slice of soft bread. Burger was over cooked. Sandwich undercooked. They ran out of many beers and menu items, there was no luck with drinks. Definitely overpriced for the poor quality of food.
If I could give less than one star I would, I had 3 oysters today (June 30th, 2025) and they gave me food poisoning within the hour.. awful awful awful 🤢🤮
The wedge salad comes “deconstructed.” Why am I crumbling my own bacon and cutting tomatoes? Put the salad together… Cod was also overcooked and cold. Vegetables were steamed broccoli and carrots… it’s summer, come up with something better.
Really rude servers with no knowledge of the menu and a clear disregard for customers. The waiter was rushing us to order, and missed half the table for drinks/food. When the food came they dropped a plate in front of me which I said wasn't mine and they replied "well you can just pass it down right??" The food was a joke for the price, $12 for this "watermelon salad" pic below. $25 for a kids pasta. Oysters were being brought from what looked like another restaurant? When it came time to pay the bill, we had a giftcard to use and it was accepted and seemed fine, however I accidentally left my phone on the table. I went back and they were being weird and said "we need to have a word with you" and told us the giftcard wasn't valid etc and withheld my phone. I was not the one to pay the bill and they we so rude and said they aren't giving me my phone until "we pay up". I told the bartender and kitchen manager we did not enjoy our experience and they just said well thats unfortunate, and still just pushed us for the remaining money from the giftcard. Nothing to remedy it, and we spent over $300 Not happy at all.
The food tasted bland and the portions were really small for the price they’re charging. We had the calamari (small portion) which was meh. The crab cake had imitation crab - ew. The fish n chips were mealy and were meh. The oyster po boy was mostly breading. Not great. Not great. The service was basically non existent. It took 30 minutes to get a drink and I had to flag the waitress down to order food and get the check. It was weird. We sat outside and the atmosphere was great, but really disappointed after paying $170 for bland food and bland service. Won’t be going back.
