Hands down one of the best Middle Eastern bakeries we’ve ever been to. Everything is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and recipes are clearly made with care and passed down tradition. All the flatbread bread is soft, perfectly baked, and the bakery smells amazing the moment you walk in. You can taste the quality in every bite. Unsure of which menu item was the best, but blindly choose anything and you won’t be disappointed. Staff is kind, welcoming, and genuinely proud of what they make, which makes the experience even better. The owner was so hospitable and friendly, thank you for having us. This place is a true gem and absolutely worth going out of your way for. We’ll be back again and again.
If you want the best service, and the most authentic Lebanese food you’ve ever tried then you need to come here. From the moment you walk in you smell the fresh bread cooking in their oven you will enjoy the experience here. Mere moments after you order the food is on your table. I can’t express to you how amazing this food was. I What 100% recommended to all my friends
We loved this place! The food was great. The cheese zaatar was my favorite. My 7 year old said the food was "10 out of 12" (translation: he loved it). Plenty of parking. Owner was very kind. We will be back!
Hidden gem up in the valley! The food is truly authentic Lebanese and the owners take pride in their food. The food is also 100% halal. Amazing customer service, food, and atmosphere ! Thank you Hassan and Sarah for your hospitality. Looking forward to seeing you again soon
My cousin shared about a great place for Fool. The weather was gloomy so it was the perfect time of the day to enjoy it. I was skeptical because my cousin doesn’t usually has good recommendations. To my surprise, it is delicious with their bread and fresh veggies. I walked away feeling great and not bloated as you currently do with food. Hassan is the owner, he is awesome and very passionate. I will be going back for other items in the menu as they sound great. Thank you
owner was super friendly, and the dishes were very yummy! tastes very authentically Lebanese. pictured: cheese & zaatar, keshek, and chicken shawarma
My family and I love this place! We are originally from Lebanon and it’s hard to find a good bakery that tastes like home. This place is so authentic and the owner is soo sweet and hospitable! Really reminds us of Lebanon! There’s also something so light and airy about their dough, it’s so thin and doesn’t make you feel so full after which is hard to find. Definitely a hidden gem!
Wallah this is the best restaurant i have been to by far. The service was great as the owner himself was very welcoming. The food was on another level! We ordered the Cheese Akawii, Cheese and Zaatar, and the special The Diala Special. They were delicious and were nothing like i have before. The cheese pull was satisfying and when you bite into the manaeesh, the crunch of it is soooo good. Wallahi this is the best manaeesh place i have been to by far. I for sure will come back! 💌🫶🏻
We stopped by this restaurant yesterday for lunch. We ordered chicken shawarma, open baked falafel, lahma bajeen, and stuffed cheese with zaatar. Two items stood out. The chicken shawarma and the stuffed cheese with zaatar. The food tasted fresh and well prepared. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Customer service was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Attentive staff was, incredibly clean from tables the bathroom. The staff looked incredibly happy and it felt like they all owned the place. We tried so many different dishes. All were amazing. I highly recommend you order the Hummus with beef, and don’t skip on the vegetables plate. They had Ashta for desert which I haven’t had since I was back home, we mixed it with Baklava, it’s was divine. The owner was around and helped around in everything. Said hello and asked for honest feedback. It was very genuine. I understand the five star reviews now. Thank you for hosting us!
Amazing food and amazing people. The owner/chef is so nice and welcoming. It’s a family business with home recipes and everything we’ve had here is 10/10. The steak is tender and flavorful. The chicken is so soft, not at all dry. The sauces make the wraps juicy. There’s really no other way to put how great this place is. We keep coming back and are always so surprised that the food gets better than the last time.
Such a lovely restaurant nestled nearby Cal State Northridge. It may be easy to miss it while driving on Reseda Blvd, but I highly recommend putting this Lebanese restaurant on your map. With a party of 5, we went into town with our order of The Diala Special, Egg & Soujouk, Lahme Ajeen, Mini Cheese Bread, Chicken Shawarma, and Nutella Mannaish. Out of all that we ordered, "The DIala Special" was my favorite and certainly earned that Special name. It s named after owner Chef Hassan's own daughter. What all of our dishes have in common is homemade dough, and the Diala Special really delivers with its akawii cheese and sesame seed topping. It's similar to the Mini Cheese Bread, but just a bit more savory and added nuttiness in flavor from the sesame seed. The toasted, yet chewy dough wrapping both top and bottom really goes a long way here, and the stuffed cheese in the middle has such a delicious, mildly salty cheese flavor. The Mini Cheese Bread is still good even though it's missing the sesame seed because of the same akawii cheese used. It is also a bit thinner than the Diala Special since it is one layer of bread. The Egg & Soujouk was the one that took us a bit by surprised because we haven't really had soujouk before. Soujouk is a spicy, fermented and dry-cured sausage, and there is something in the spices (cumin maybe?) that really stands out, giving it a bit of a curry-flavor. It is good, but unexpected! On the flip side, the Lahme Ajeen felt the most traditional with its marinated ground meat mixed with tomatores, parsley, and onion over homemade fresh dough. Flavorwise, it is a bit polite by itself, but when you add a squeeze of lemon over it, the taste really livens up from the acidity! Our last meal, the Chicken Shawarma is probably the least interesting to me since it a bit underseasoned and somewhat forgettable. Finally, the Nutella Mannaish is simply rich and decadent! If you have an insatiable sweet tooth, this dessert is a must! It is a flatbread with Nutella, banana, chocolate syrup, sliced almond, white sugar, and pistacchio. I've never had Dubai Chocolate, but I would think it's similar to this. It is just melt-in-your-mouth goodness! Just like all the dishes, this Mannaish is generous in portion. All their dishes are shareables, so bring along a few friends and family to taste the tasty food from Chef Hassan!
Chef Hassan was so friendly and helpful. Delighted with my vegetable labneh. Bread/crust was baked perfectly. Tasted so fresh topped with a mild yogurt cucumber and vegetable mixture. zaatar added on top. I cannot wait to go back and try other dishes. Portions generous. Im taking half home.
Zaatar N’ More can be summarized with a quote from the owner that warmly greets you as you enter their doors: “One Bite And You’re Hooked For Life”. The warm atmosphere and service instantly made me feel welcome. The food was phenomenal and you could taste the love! Chef Hassan and the team behind the dishes are incredibly talented and understand the core principals behind good food! I highly recommend this place to anyone interested!
Absolutely delicious! We ordered the Akkawi pie, spinach pie, meat pie, and the zaatar & labneh, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly baked. The Akkawi pie was cheesy and satisfying, the spinach pie had a great balance of tang and seasoning, and the meat pie was rich and well-spiced. The zaatar & labneh was especially amazing—creamy, savory, and full of authentic flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic, comforting Middle Eastern pies. We’ll definitely be back! Lebanon!!!!!
An outstanding restaurant in every sense! It is run by Mr. Hassan and his family, and from the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth and hospitality of a genuine Lebanese home. The welcome is sincere and the service is exceptional. The food is authentic Lebanese–Shami cuisine, prepared with traditional flavors and great attention to quality. Every dish tastes homemade, with perfectly seasoned flavors and delicious appetizers. Honestly, this is one of the best Lebanese restaurants I’ve tried. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic food, warm hospitality, and a memorable dining experience
I have never eaten such a delicious Manakeesh cheese stuffed mankousheh with original Akawi cheese which is the signature of the eatery. The owner is so proud of that creation that he named it Diala after his only daughter. The plain Manakeesh was also superb with a quality Zaatar taste . There are tables you can sit and enjoy your meal at and they serve delicious mint tea. The owner is a very pleasant, informative and helpful person. You can tell the place is very clean including its bathroom. It was a treat to visit Zaatar N’ More in Northridge. This place deserves 10 stars for the taste of the food, the cleanliness, the warm atmosphere and the helpful and accommodating servers. The fact that it is family owned and run speaks to the quality which is being presented. Thank you for a delicious meal.
Amazing experience every time. The hospitality at Zaatar N’ More is next-level — warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. The chef is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like a valued guest, not just a customer. The food is absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor and made with real passion. One of the best Lebanese spots in the area! Try their Falafel not wrapped 🤤🤤🤤 you are welcome!

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the owner and his wonderful family; they were all so kind and made the experience even more meaningful. I visited the U.S. from Canada 🇨🇦 and stopped by Zaatar N’ more Restaurant in Northridge for breakfast — honestly, it was the best experience ever! Everything was served with love, care, and such cleanliness. The family who runs the place is so warm and welcoming — they make you feel at home. They truly deserve more than five stars! This is the best place I have ever tried zaatar pies at. It was just at another level! We came to try one menu item and ended up getting five! We enjoyed it so much! The service was excellent and Mr. Hasan was so welcoming and polite. He made us feel at home both in the way he welcomed us and the food we enjoyed!
My wife and I tried Zaatar N’ More for the first time last weekend and had a great experience. Ordering at the counter was quick and easy, and the menu was very clear and easy to read, with helpful illustrations. They specialize in Lebanese flatbreads and pizza pies (including halal options), and everything we ordered came out fast and tasted excellent. You can tell the food is made with care and quality ingredients. We also really enjoyed the desserts. Overall, the food and service made for a really pleasant first visit. We’re already planning to come back again — this time with friends. Highly recommend!
