My husband and I came in close to closing on a Friday night after snowmobiling all evening. This was only our second experience here and we weren't expecting much. When we walked in everyone was staring at us, I can only assume it was because it was close to closing time. Our waitress paid not attention to the time and was amazing/attentive. Cocktails were out fast and delicious, and the rest of the meal was timed perfectly by the staff. I would go back just for hot wings but I know I'll be going back for more. We closed the restaurant up and no one there made us feel rushed or like we were a bother at all.

Highly recommend Alpine if you’re passing through the area! It’s a bit on the pricey size, looking at $25 per person without an appetizer, but it really comes down to what your order. The place is clean, but very hard to get a reservation. I recommend a few days in advance especially in the winter. Highly recommend the garlic scallion steamed clams, they are one of the bests appetizers I’ve eaten in my life. Overall, service was nice and fast! Going once with friends we forgot to split the check, but the waitress was more than willing to help sort things out. Personally preference, but I really love when places start you with a glass of water so that was an excellent touch. It you haven’t yet, try this place out! The picture is of the shrimp Alfredo penne, which was a solid 8.5/10

We sat at the bar as it was packed on a Friday night! The bartender was fun and friendly as she interacted with us and the other customers. The food was delicious!!! We ordered a few appetizers and items from their weekly specials. Finished off with an amazing dessert, mud pie! Highly recommend this restaurant! Call for a reservation if you don't want to sit at the bar because it gets busy fast!

Absolutely loved the food. Wasn't happy that we were seated by the door and bar where people were only a foot away from our table standing, being loud while we were trying to eat. Service was slightly slow. I mean we waited 25 mins from sitting down before our server even asked us about drinks. Also the bartender didn't wash her hands after leaving the bathroom, she came out as I was waiting to go in and not once did the water turn on nor was the sink wet. I loved my food and everything would have been so much better if we were seated elsewhere.

Five of us enjoyed very good dinners. The fish dinner selections were varied and tasty and the restaurant allowed two of out party to share a dinner. Service was courteous and prompt.

We love stopping at the Alpine on Sundays after hiking or paddling. Food and service have always been great! They are usually open until 9pm. Online also confirmed open until 9 pm. We were disappointed when we walked in at 8:10 and they refused to serve us. We were hiking in the Blue Mountain Lake area. Stopped at the restaurant in Indian Lake, who would not seat anyone else (also an hour before their regular closing time). So we rushed out and really looked forward to making it to The Alpine in time for a good meal. Nope! If we want thriving tourism in our beautiful area, we need to accommodate people. Had to settle for Stewart’s pizza in Northville for dinner. At least they stick to their scheduled closing time🤷🏼‍♀️

New York grill serves a lousy NY strip. Overcooked, served by overworked staff. Service was terrible. I could. It recommend their clam chowder either.
