I enjoyed dinner at The Local last evening. The food was exceptional. I had Fish Tacos. The fish was fresh and they were topped with a delicious creamy Cole Slaw with fresh Pico de Gallo which also was very fresh and perfectly seasoned. My dining companion had Crispy Shrimp over Pimento Mac and cheese. She raved about the flavor and requested a box as the serving was very generous This restaurant is a very welcome addition to Northville, in my opinion. I will be returning soon.

A very nice restaurant located in Northville. It’s aesthetic and atmosphere fits very well with its location, the Adirondack mountains and the Sacandaga Lake. Since it reopened this year, my family went here twice and both times were both equally amazing. On our first visit I had the lobster brioche and the second visit I had the chicken Parmesan. Both were very good choices! Highly recommend this place if your visiting Northville.

Highly recommend! Staff friendly and attentive. Lunch was well prepared and tasty. French Dip and Chicken Panini were terrific. Crème puffs for dessert topped off lunch. We’ll be back

I have dined here a few times. I find the food to be consistently excellent. The staff and owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable and clean. My favorites so far have been the French onion soup, fish tacos, and giant cream puff dessert. Everything that I have had appears to be made in-house which I really like. I also like the quality of the well-stocked bar and the fact that they have Kendall Jackson wine. Will definitely be back!

Late lunch early dinner. I had Calamari with banana peppers drizzled with a balsamic sauce. Sushi type tuna with salad. Spouse has oinion petals and shrimp basket. Highly recommend trying the Wasabi dressing with the onion petals.

This place is a total gem! Food was delicious; we ordered the steak masala, lobster roll and the chips and fish. All meals were scrumptious, but the best part was the service. From the hostess to our wonderful server Madalyn. Highly recommend this fantastic restaurant!

Server was very nice. Was only her 3rd day and she was great. My husband loved his chicken parm. I got the chicken with maple bourbon glaze and a starter salad. Salad was gross and chicken was eh. Pretty bland. Atmosphere was nice

Nice place. Food wasn’t anything to write home about, except the fries were good. Great service. We were hungry and we didnt leave hungry so it served us well.

Cute, friendly place. Our meals weren’t great. Penne a La vodka was a huge portion of pasta (enough for like 3 people) with what tasted like jarred sauce, and long strips of bland chicken breast. Husband had chicken teriyaki featuring the same exact bland chicken strips. Rolls tasted like they were straight from a grocery store plastic bag. This place feels like it’s trying hard to present an upscale vibe, but the food is subpar. They should cut the menu way back and just focus on doing fewer things but with higher quality.

We left ended up with Stewart’s pizza. 2nd time. My wife 2 sons and I we had decent service but food was not to brag about. But took longer than expected 3 rd time. Late Sunday only options in town the local. Or pizza it was half empty I figured I would give it a shot, sat at the bar ordered ice tea I don’t drink alcohol so can’t review that. Ordered a special got salad and bread after 1 and 10 minutes yes I checked my phone I said to the bartender I would like to pay for my salad she walked away for a couple minutes so I left a 20 on the bar.

Was in yesterday for drinks and food with my wife and in laws the food was good the service on the other hand was not good I will say they were recovering from the parade that just happened before we got there but it shouldn’t take that long to get a table for one and shouldn’t have to sit at the bar and wait over an hour to order more drinks the staff was awful I would recommend getting food to good if your not in the mood to wait
