I treated myself to a solo dinner based on the menu that was posted for Mother’s Day weekend. I started with the lobster stuffed mushrooms. These are absolutely fantastic!!! I received a roll with butter on the side, I skipped the butter and dredged the roll in the extra butter sauce on the mushrooms. Sooooo good! Don’t skip eating the roll! I had a salad with blue cheese dressing. I’m a blue cheese snob, there’s was on point, delicious. My main entree was the Mediterranean Sea bass with a creamy lemon sauce. This was very good, but those lobster stuffed mushrooms over shadowed it. I would have gotten a second helping of those. 5 stars. This was a Thursday at 4pm in the off season. Definitely make reservations during the peak season or when they have live entertainment.

Had lunch there today, Aha tuna salad, two different paneni and a kids cheeseburger, it was really good. Place was also decorated really well also.

This place is amazing I highly recommend if you are in the Northville area to stop in! Wait staff were friendly and attentive! Food was phenomenal, great portions, beautiful presentation and delicious! Chicken wings were out of this world as was the entrees! And if you are lucky enough to get there when they have cream puffs they are one in a million! They have live entertainment sometimes and the night we went even that was out of this world!! Will be back in July!!!

I don't know if people can really understand how hard it is to get seasoned and delicious food around Fulton County, especially Northville. I'm the type of person that has to add seasonings to pretty much everything that I order. Not here. Penne Ala vodka was perfect. The portion size ensures that I'm going to eat this a couple more times and I look forward to it!

Just had dinner here. We had the pleasure of having Bri as our waitress and she was absolutely fabulous! We spoke with another waitress Laura as well, she was wonderful and so friendly. This establishment is very lucky to have such a great staff, they made our experience a good one. Steak tips were delicious! I had a dirty martini, which was a bit strong, but they gave me extra olive juice on the side as well as extra olives. Thank you!!

They have a gluten free section on the menu. Very clean. A perfect place bring couple friends or that special someone.

Great place for dinner. Food was great and excellent drink selection. Dylan was a great host. Didn’t even skip a beat when I had to ask him to unzip my jacket for me since I’d lost a bet and had to wear it to dinner backwards. :) Feel free to do the same and let him know Freedom says hello.

Have stopped here twice with friends. Both times, excellent food, service and atmosphere. Have awesome French fries that can't be beat too! So good.

Thank you for hosting the NCS class of 1968 reunion! We had a fantastic time. The food was delicious! Having the tent was perfect for mingling and conversation before and after dinner! Could not have asked for a more perfect venue. Everything was just wonderful.

We ate here for lunch with friends today for the first time. All the food was great, and the staff were efficient and friendly. The giant cream puffs looked delicious, but we had to pass on ordering them since we were full from lunch. We will be back.

The Local is a great addition to downtown Northville. The atmosphere provides a warm Adirondack aesthetic. The food is delicious, the staff is attentive, and there is a great martini menu. You're bound to become a local at the Local.

My dining companion had Crispy Shrimp over Pimento Mac and cheese. She raved about the flavor and requested a box as the serving was very generous This restaurant is a very welcome addition to Northville, in my opinion. I will be returning soon.

I have dined here a few times. I find the food to be consistently excellent. The staff and owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable and clean. My favorites so far have been the French onion soup, fish tacos, and giant cream puff dessert. Everything that I have had appears to be made in-house which I really like. I also like the quality of the well-stocked bar and the fact that they have Kendall Jackson wine. Will definitely be back!

Late lunch early dinner. I had Calamari with banana peppers drizzled with a balsamic sauce. Sushi type tuna with salad. Spouse has oinion petals and shrimp basket. Highly recommend trying the Wasabi dressing with the onion petals.

Let's start with the atmosphere. What I noticed first is that it is very clean. Decorations were sparse but pleasant. Plenty of room, the tables are not crowded together which is really nice. We heard an acoustic duo and the music wasn't too loud, the room had a nice sound for music. Service... I didn't get our waitresses name but she was super sweet. She did a great job and I think she may have been the only server on the floor. Food... Parts of the meal were great... others not so much and these parts could be fixed so quickly. The bad... the rolls and butter clearly store bought rolls and heated, request for more they were cold out of the package. The salad was beyond basic. I asked for blue cheese dressing, I believe maybe they ran out and it was basically sour cream with some crumbles in it. If this is the normal blue cheese dressing they need to change that. Again, so minor in the big picture but this is how the meal starts so it just sets the mood. Now to the main course... My friend ordered the Steak Marsala and I ordered the crab stuffed haddock. We thought she was going to get a steak... with a side of pasta it was slices of steak on a HUGE bed of pasta with a thick marsala sauce on the pasta. Tasty but should not be listed as a steak. This is a pasta dish with meat on top. The crab stuffed haddock was excellent. I had it with a side of mashed potatoes which were very nice and the veggie medley was tasty and still had some crisp to it, not mushy at all. I recommend this dish and would have it again. I would go back for sure.

2nd time here. Service was very slow. Order was not correct. We had our 1st time recently here everything was great. This time not so much. Sadly staff did not seem to care 😕

I can respect the tourist robbery hustle, but this was a weird, mediocre experience all around. Anxious, disorganized energy and disappointing food.

Interesting menu. Decent food and service. But don’t try and convince me that a house salad is a Caesar salad….really!

It took a really long time for us to get service and also a really long time to get our food. Very expensive for the food as well. Probably a one and done for us.

Was in yesterday for drinks and food with my wife and in laws the food was good the service on the other hand was not good I will say they were recovering from the parade that just happened before we got there but it shouldn’t take that long to get a table for one and shouldn’t have to sit at the bar and wait over an hour to order more drinks the staff was awful I would recommend getting food to good if your not in the mood to wait

Second time there, second time a disaster. Arrived at 6:00 pm. Ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees by 6:15. No appetizers until 7, no entrees at all. Asked for the check at 7:30 and left without eating. Entree was substandard. Will never go back.

Late Sunday only options in town the local. Or pizza it was half empty I figured I would give it a shot, sat at the bar ordered ice tea I don’t drink alcohol so can’t review that. Ordered a special got salad and bread after 1 and 10 minutes yes I checked my phone I said to the bartender I would like to pay for my salad she walked away for a couple minutes so I left a 20 on the bar.
