we had a waitress i think her name is eve she has dark curly hair and wore a leopard print headband and she was super nice and friendly! my grandma mentioned it was my birthday in a week while we ordered dessert and when eve(?) brought out my order she put a candle in the ice cream and lit it for me :) very sweet

Food great, loved my New York strip, salad was fresh and crisp. If you like thin shoestring onion rings they have great ones! It was a little loud but not worse than any other steak restaurants. Spacing between tables was roomier than most .

Quick seating even though parking lot was absolutely packed. Put name on list, went to bar and didn't wait 10 min and our table was ready. Service a little slow, but it was packed. Food outstanding. Try the BBQ shrimp. And pineapple margarita.... wow 👌🏻

I have not been to Saltgrass for a while, my husband and I got the surprise of our live. I wanted to eat fish since the plate was $32 I thought well let me split the plate with my husband, we did made some modifications bcz there were supposed to have crabs meat, shrimp etc but we removed the extra seafood bcz we don’t consume those things. Salad and soup was decent but the main course came out cold and the steaks were chewy. They didn't seem too busy and it took a while to get the food, but that's most likely due too our waiter being swapped midway through our dining experience. Overall it wasn't great ,the atmosphere is nice

I hadn’t been by here in quite some time, but we decided to come tonight since it was my birthday. I had the steak salad and I was most of the way through it and wondering why it wasn’t as good as I remembered it when I realized they didn’t put the blue cheese on it like it’s supposed to be made with (and the menu says it’s made with). The steak was done properly, though, medium rare, like I ordered it. My wife ordered the steak and sweet potato fries. She liked the steak, but the sweet potato fries were pretty soggy so we didn’t care for those too much. Thankfully, the carrot cake was as awesome as I remember it being. After we got our food, the waiter never came back by until we were finished, so I didn’t get a chance to talk to him about the salad until I was already done with it. I’ll give it four stars, but it was really more like 3.5. I doubt I’ll be back anytime soon. There’s too many places to eat where the food comes out really well and/or it comes out like it’s supposed to be made. Update: Clearly Saltgrass doesn’t actually read the review before sending the form letter response. Somehow they thought they met expectations. Guess I should lower the rating to a 3 where the experience actually was. I’ll do that now…

The food was delicious. Not on the menu as a steak topping, but for chicken, Laredo topping on a filet is full of flavor and so good. Service was extraordinary slow for table of 6. We ran out of chip for the appetizer, and by the time we got chips, the queso dip hardened and got cold. Multiple empty beverages at times. We came in for my mom's birthday this evening. Our waiter was super awkward and weird but that's ok. Some other guy brought our food but it was half wrong so he took it back. Our waiter brings our food but hands one person their plate and the rest falls on the floor. Finally brings my plate but the steak was super iffy, never heard from a manager and paid nearly $40 for a meh dinner.

I brought my mom here for her Birthday lunch hoping she’d enjoy it, unfortunately it was not what we expected. The appetizer was mid and our food was bland!!! No flavor AT ALL…. For the amount of money we spent this was not worth it. I will say we got seafood and maybe we should’ve had steak for a better experience. The service was amazing & our waitress was great but food was so not recommend, not for seafood at least.

Lunch Menu changed. I got Sirloin and shrimp, as the filet mignon was removed from lunch menu. The filet was good last time, but the sirloin was barely edible, no flavor, it looked good, but tasted like dry cardboard and cooked medium rare. The shrimp was grilled, it was OK. I would not order this again. Brussel sprouts were good and the salad was fresh. Bread was ok. The service was good, but I had to wait for my water to be refilled by the manager. The two seater booth is so close your feet are on top of the other person's feet across from you. It's a very cozy and comfortable restaurant.

Update review 2/15/2025 I was so excited for my birthday coming back to this restaurant. But the experience was different this time. Let me tell you something when people don’t like their job make other people miserable because when you go to a place to celebrate your birthday but the service is bad can ruin everything. My server was not good . Not even a friendly smile so I am disappointed of this restaurant because of that plus food quality I taste different. I expect the best specially when I am spending more 100 dollars. The manager was nice that’s the only good thing of my last visit.

Horrible chefs. Overpriced. Imagine going to the steak house with 2 other people. And you all order the same thing - a medium steak. Isn’t that the easiest thing to cook for kitchen ? Yet somehow 1 steak was completely rare . One medium. And one well done. Do the chefs check the temperature with a tool like you’re supposed to ? How is there THAT big of a difference in each one when all 3 should be same . Food was outrageous. And me wondering how that happens while I’m paying $100 for 3 steaks is outrageous too. Their servers move WAYYYY too slow when you need something in my opinion. They Forget items you asked for . They run 3 THREE table sections in this restaurant!!!!! But the servers take 5-10 minutes to grab something when you ask for it . 3 tables + that above and beyond Landrys training should mean way better and faster service, and not waiting 10 minutes for a side of lemons , more butter , bread , etc . Do better !!!! Good lord

This has always been a regular on our lunch rotation list. We splurged today and planned on using 1 of our rewards. We ordered the 16 Oz Pats Ribeye to share and a bake potato. This was the worst meal we have had in a very long time. Potato was very old and the steak was 1/2 fat. We had to share a half of steak. Won't go back for a long time.
