We went looking for a nice pizza in Novara and even without reservation we got a table. The waiters where all very nice and helpful to explain the concept of the menu. The pizzas was very nice, a bit different, but very good. We enjoyed our self at Fra Diavoli Pizzeria, and we give our recommendations for a good pizza experience.

A must if you are in Novara or nearby. Wonderful selection of pizza. Perfect service, beautiful setting. Very very limited wine selection but good negroni sbagliata. One pizza is more than enough to fill satisfied but you will wish you could eat more.

We were really disappointed with our experience here. Despite having a reservation, their staff was rude, walking by and not even acknowledging us, and service throughout was slow and inattentive. Our server was loud enough to wake our sleeping baby, which was frustrating, and the pizza arrived lukewarm. We ordered a basic Margherita—because you can’t hide behind toppings—and it was just… fine. Nothing special. Adding a branded sticker directly on the pizza was also a strange choice. The bathroom situation was equally odd (hand towels instead of toilet paper?). For a place with such high reviews, this was a letdown—especially coming from New York City, where even an average neighborhood spot does better pizza. Now we understand why local family never suggested it.

This is supposed to be a pizza restaurant but it feels like an American food chain with frozen pizzas. It tastes funny and does not at all look like an authentic Italian pizza. Avoid this place.

It might be the best pizza in Novara, but the service it's the worst possible. Me and my husband, without a reservation, went to try to eat a pizza, the place wasn't full, actually there was just 4 tables being served at the moment. Apparently this wasn't an issue, so before we even sit at the table, the waiter said to my husband that it was 50euros plus to eat there... Which kind of service is that? Needs prove that you can pay the bill there? Or it's just simple discrimination judging by the clothes you wear? If this was a requirement, you need to write this is the website, on the social medial and all the advertisment so when you enter, you are aware. I didn't know that to eat a casual pizza, I needed to use my formal dress! When we decided to leave, the waiter said it was a joke... Which kind of joke is that? Hopefully someone in charge of this costumer service can answer me! Since we moved to Novara we were planning to eat there, thank you the horrible waiter that made us save our money and go to a place that actually knows how important every client is.

Always very slow service, we arrived for lunch and they didn't have a single english menu, and they notified us that they do only pizza despite showing on their menu also pasta, meat, and starters. Waiting 20 minutes for drinks to be served when we are the only guests is unacceptable. Strongly recommend not to go, environment beautiful but if you expect at least minimal service, avoid this place 100%.
