Really pleased to find such a great local spot for Thai cuisine. The service was attentive and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Their thai iced tea was also very good. They've got some indoor seating, along with a cozy patio with outdoor heating lamps. Excited to come back and try more stuff here!

Best red curry with shrimp, used good amount of coconut milk. All the appetizers were delish especially fried spring rolls. They were able to accommodate 12 of us outside and they have heaters.

I've been eating here for about 10 years. the food is great, just about everything on the menu is done very well. the "special duck" is some of the best duck I've had anywhere. takeout usually takes about 10 minutes, service is always friendly.

I love this place. Usually I would give it a 5 for food but the pumpkin curry was under cooked and definitely not my favorite. It’s a terrific restaurant though with wonderful food just avoid the pumpkin curry.

Really fast! Great for walking over and picking up if you live in the neighborhood. I got the pad Thai with beef and couldn't even finish it! Serves 2 for 8 dollars! Tasted delicious. Hard to find really good pad Thai around

A good Thai restaurant/takeout on a street where everywhere else is eat-in only. Very reasonably priced, polite staff and fast service. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Food was good (tofu red curry which was spicy) so would thoroughly recommend!

Tasty bell pepper beef, and fresh papaya salad. We did take out, but the patio is lovely and quiet. Next week we will plan to dine on the patio.

Waitresses/People working there are really friendly, don't rush you and such, they don't really give off any sort of bad vibes. Plus the food is wonderful, be sure to try everything on the menu, but I would recommend the Pad Se Aew (I think that's how it's spelled, correct me if I'm wrong). Aside from that, come here if you want a good experience with Thai food!

Lovely and quiet patio. Friendly service. Family-owned restuarant will prepare food to your specified level of spiciness. Good for a quiet conversation. A hidden gem in Rockridge.

We were the only ones there so we got VIP treatment lol. I ordered the lunch combo yellow curry with veggies, chicken spring rolls and Thai tea. It didn’t miss a beat! The flavors were amazing and the veggies were cooked perfect. We also had the chicken wings as appetizers. GET THEM! They were delicious. Definitely coming back.

They promptly escorted us to our table, where our orders were taken and served with remarkable efficiency. Accompanied by our two young children, who were exceptionally well-catered to, we indulged in a variety of dishes. The grilled chicken satay and the fresh spring rolls were the stars of the evening. It's certain that we will be returning for another memorable meal. Bangkok Garden comes highly recommended!

Both of them are pretty good but I would 100% recommend the roasted duck over rice. It's an incredible dish. Also if it isn't raining and if you're there during the day, you should definitely request outdoor seating. Beautiful atmosphere and a great place to just chill while having lunch. The location is also pretty nice, you can have a nice little walk before or after the meal. If you're local, this is a must-visit place. I'd even recommend out-of-towners to pay a visit if you have time.

Probably the best eggplant I’ve ever had. The eggplant basil is full of flavor with eggplant cooked to perfection. The sauce is a magical blend of garlic and Thai basil, slightly sweet and a bit spicy. 10/10 recommended!!! Thai tea is also perfect and Tom Yum noodle soup is incredible on a cold day. Very quick and kind service as well :)

I’ve only ever done take out and have had quite a few of their dishes - all of which have been solid. But their unique and kind of tangy sweet Crab Rangoon and their Tom Kha Soup really are special. I also appreciate how their spice level is consistent and real (like a 2 has some heat to it!). Definitely recommend.

The best Thai food I know of in the Bay Area. I can't really eat in any of the other places I used to go because Sabuy Sabuy has spoiled me. The staff is super nice too. Everything is good, but it's worth trying something you wouldn't be able to get somewhere else. My particular favorites are the catfish curry and the special duck—then for desert the fantastic coconut ice cream!

For me the food becomes better when they changed the ownership. Been here few times to order roasted duck to go when I forgot to defrost the protein for dinner. Tastes nice and fresh.

Nice staff. Nice outdoor garden. While service was great in the past, this time it was slow despute me being the only customer in the garden for a while. Had to go in to place order and waited a quite a while to get the bill.

Food tasted good BUT prices have gone up 50%. Restaurant has NOT updated their online menus/prices. I thought I'd pay $21 at the store, bill was $32. That's a HUGE difference. Worker there said "portions are large" (though no larger than any other Thai places around). That's irrelevent. You advertise X price, and I arrive to pick up and it's Z price. Feels like bait and switch but really it's just carelessness to their customers. Won't be going back.

It's good but they pricing is either 7 for an apatizer or 13 for almost everything else. Some things are priced 8 dollars. It all comes in big portions, you should bring 2 other ppl and split.

Don't forget about this place! The food is quite good. Love all the curries and some kind of great garlic chicken..sorry, can't remember what it's called. Nothing fancy, but really good food and totally affordable.

I just ordered a tofu larb salad to go for lunch, it came to about $15 with taxes. I just opened it up, and it’s a tiny pile of romaine lettuce, raw onions, sparse carrots and some dry tofu. It is absolutely not larb salad.

Respectfully, this is the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review and much less about Thai food because I love it so much. The seafood basil I got was basically a mountain of barely cooked green beans with about three pieces of calamari and two shrimp. It was gross, to be frank, swimming in a puddle of oil to boot. The green curry had about three thin slices of chicken in it, and again, raw vegetables floating around. Not even mildly steamed. Look, I know everyone’s cutting costs but a mountain of vegetables and a couple of strips of meat whether it’s seafood or chicken, just is embarrassing and substandard. Even the brown rice wasn’t brown rice… It was purple rice. Which is its own thing and not what I wanted nor ordered. Will never ever return. Tossed most of it.
