We stopped here as we were walking past on a whim. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was nice, too. Oh, and the food was the best. I sampled the shredded-chicken, crispy-shelled taco my friend was having, and it was marvelous, with great flavors. Then I had a chicken burrito, which completely satisfied my cravings. The portions were very generous and could have probably been shared, depending on how hungry you are. All the food has a freshly made taste; nothing is made overnight here, in my opinion. Their horchata drink was great, and we were surprised to see a full-service bar there.

I had the carnitas enchilada lunch special. I liked it! For a meal, I thought it was missing vegetables. A serving of salad would have completed it. They served the usual chips 'n salsa before they brought in the main meal. As for the ambiance, it did feel like a Mexican restaurant, with vibrant colors of decor. All in all, it was a positive experience!

Great vibe here is really good. The food was amazing and drinks awesome. Lots of options for vegetarians. The portion sizes are so huge that my wife and I had to split the meal.

I’ve lived in the area for about a year and haven’t managed to try this place out yet! A wonderful sit down experience, perfect sized restaurant too. Staff were very nice and even sang to celebrate someone’s birthday near us. We ordered a spicy chile liquor drink and it was definitely a strong drink. Street tacos and red enchiladas were absolutely amazing, major compliments to the shrimp tacos as well the shrimp is amazing. Will definitely be coming here again.

I visited this establishment for the first time on Saturday, accompanied by my best friend. The red sauce chicken enchiladas were exceptional, and the experience reminded me of a Mexican restaurant located in downtown Oakland. The chicken was rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed a blueberry margarita, which featured fresh-tasting tequila that contributed to a delightful experience. I intend to return; however, there are areas for improvement, particularly concerning the service. Our server was courteous but seemed to overlook our needs at times. Additionally, we ordered takeout due to the generous portions, and it appeared there was a reluctance to provide extra chips.

I got the Carne Asada torta and it was great! Far too big for me to finish in one sitting, but it was a great lunch the next day. Atmosphere was really nice lots of televisions to watch the game and they have a full bar.

Very nostalgic reminds me of a Mexican restaurant I grew up going to in my neighborhood and city really recommend for a date night. Chips and margaritas are my favorite. The food is really good too. I recommend all the soups in the molcajete

We love the food here. Authentic food, great flavors and plating! Large portions so definitely come ready to eat or take home for lunch for the week. The family staff makes you feel at home. They are all wonderful and will get you what you need. We had to wait for our check for a bit at lunch time. Also, tables are limited for such an in-demand place. The food is worth the wait!

Steak fajitas were good. Salsa was good. Service very good. Plenty of food. I took home leftovers and my son loved it.

Shrinkflation has started, Wife and I wanted to split a Chimichanga, but to our surprise, it had shrunk by a third since our last visit. The taste of the food had changed, it was not as wide a palate as before. Guess they cut back on the spices also. We were very disappointed this trip as we have been coming here for a few years. Hope the next visit is better.

Great location. On Sunday there is a farmers market on the street. Being hung over from the night before I ordered the Güevos ala Mexicana. Expecting them to be spicy y also told the waiter to make sure they are spicy, they weren't and it was 90% onions and bell peppers and 10% egg 😔. Rice and refried beans were so good, fresh made corn tortillas and the high light was that they offer Abuelita hot chocolate 😋

If Mexican food had an Irish cousin, who married into the family, never visited Mexico. Got all their recipe off the food channel..this is then, your joint. I suppose all the tequila makes up for lack of good authentic Mexican food. Bummer…
