Long overdue review! I am a proud regular here for years. I usually get the fish kabobs w/ brown rice & potato bolani but have tried their other kabobs. Sometimes they have a buffet menu so you can try more dishes. Everything is flavorful. The staff are so kind and sweet. Atmosphere is spacious and casual. Can’t say enough good things about this spot!
We ate like Queens! Delicious food..You could taste the love in each dish!! My first time, and I cant wait to return and bring guests.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Afghan Cuisine, and I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food was the real star of the evening. We started with the Bolani, a crispy stuffed flatbread that was perfectly seasoned and paired beautifully with yogurt sauce. For the main course, we tried the Kabuli Pulao, a fragrant rice dish with tender lamb, raisins, and carrots—absolutely divine! The Mantu (Afghan dumplings) were another highlight, bursting with flavor and served with a delicious yogurt-based sauce. What truly stood out was the impeccable service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to share recommendations, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for authentic Afghan cuisine with rich flavors and generous portions, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
This unassuming Afghan restaurant is what your taste buds desire after a long flight into Oakland airport. We flew in for a trip to Yosemite and the family was looking for heart Afghan food and that’s exactly what we got. We ordered some individual meals and a large family platter which dissolved too fast for me to take pictures of. All were amazing and fresh in taste.
Hey this is Aman khan! I can’t say enough good things about this place! Kamdesh Afghan Cuisine is hands down the best Halal authentic Afghan restaurant in town. Every time I visit, the food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of rich, traditional flavors. The staff and chef are truly exceptional—they’re incredibly kind, welcoming, and always go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. They treat you like family, and their generosity makes the dining experience even better. One of the things I love most is their buffet system during Ramadan—it’s such a great way to enjoy a variety of Afghan dishes, and everything tastes absolutely amazing. Whether it’s the perfectly seasoned kebabs, the fragrant rice, or their mouthwatering curries, every dish is made with care and authenticity. No matter what, I always find myself coming back here. Kamdesh never disappoints! If you’re looking for a place that serves the best Afghan food with top-notch hospitality, this is it. Thank you so much for always making my visits special! Can’t wait to be back again soon! Alhamdullilah ❤️
The food was great, my first experience eating this kind of food in a restaurant. I had the chicken kebab with the brown rice and some black tea. My friends had the mix kebab plate and the super crispy chicken wings with French fries. [I know, is 2 white guys and a Mexican cut us a break!] I have to say the chicken breast kebab was very good and the tea was good. The rice was 7.5 out of 10. The family of the workers running around laughing and screaming as they played added to the ambiance of the mostly empty building. I enjoying hearing them play and laugh, although my friend was very annoyed and wanted to pull his ears off. Depends on your mindset I suppose, it's was cute to me but I have baby fever already. The service was decent but the ladies seem they could use a little more help at times with the mobile/to-go orders and the front of house. Overall I enjoyed myself and felt very comfortable. My only time eating this food before is was at friend's family dinners or clients wanting to thank me with food; compared to the home cooking I've had I'd give this a 4.5 if I could. My friend asked for onions and peppers and hotsuace and she said "suuuure" then never came. I don't know if that's normal to have but he seemed to think so. Lovely family afghan place overall reminded me of my fondest childhood friends and their family kebab nights❤️
Delightful authentic dishes and gracious staff. The kebabs are on point and worth saving your appetite for savoring!
Hidden treasure. Came here after some lovely cocktails at Bar Shiru and had an outstanding dinner. Took home a lamb sandwich as well. Got the Qabili Pallow and Samosa, it was phenomenal. Very comfort food style that hits the spot. Can't wait to go back.
We went to this restaurant on Ramadan month the they had a buffet the food was stunning and there service was outstanding thank you for the hospitality. “ I found an Afghani cuisine, family gatherings, cultural dining experiences” thank you very much! ✌🏻🤌🏻🔥🫶🏻
The food? Absolutely phenomenal! Every dish is a masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. Their Kabuli Pulao is a must-try-tender lamb, fragrant rice, and just the right touch of sweetness from caramelized carrots and raisins. The Chapli Kebabs are juicy and perfectly spiced, while the Bolani is crisp on the outside and filled with deliciously seasoned potatoes.
The best place fresh afghan food very nice people from the owner to employees once u go here u will go always here if u are in Oakland don’t skip this place
This family-style restaurant is perfect for large and small groups. The food is authentic and delicious, the service is friendly, and the location is very convenient.
All the food was excellent. It felt like having a warm homemade meal.
I chose Kamdesh for catering (50 people) at my baby shower and do not regret it. Their team was very professional and the food was excellent. We chose a variety of dishes including Bolani, Afghan rice, chicken and beef kabobs, lentils, spinach and salad. My guests kept talking to me about the food even days later. The food was properly delivered on time and the entire process was very easy. I highly recommend Kamdesh for your catering needs.
my friends and I couldn't stop talking about how tasty our meal was after stopping in for dinner. the salmon kebab, eggplant, leek bolani, and yogurt cucumber side were so so good!! generous portions and delicious rice. we will be back!
The moment I entered this Afghan restaurant, I was captivated by its warm and inviting ambiance. The staff greeted us with a genuine smile and provided impeccable service throughout our meal. The food was a flavor-packed experience! I highly recommend the beef and chicken kebab, perfectly grilled and tender. The spices used in every dish are expertly balanced, and the portions are generous. The soft and fluffy naan complemented every bite. A must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic Afghan cuisine!
I hadn't had Afghani food in a minute and we just moved, so I had no idea what's good here. This place did not disappoint. The lamb was tender, the rice was cooked perfectly and the sabzi was hit the spot. To top it off, the customer service was so kind and pleasant. I mistakenly ordered sabzi challow instead of sabzi challow with lamb 🤦🏻♀️ and they were totally fine fixing it on the fly and still kind when I dropped in to pick it up. I'll be back for sure!
I came here with friend of mine and I’m not regret at all. The food is amazing and I wanna say thank you so much for Omid for helping us.
We ordered several dishes to be delivered via Door Dash. The food was so good. I couldn’t believe it because it was delivered so I didn’t expect much. My friend ordered us some kind of dumpling which seemed like an Asian/Afghan fusion. Also Quabili Pallow (lamb, rice with carrots and raisins), flatbread stuffed with shredded squash, spinach and scallions marinated in spices, and Afghan salad. It was marvelous trying all these perfect dishes for the first time. Thank you!
The service was excellent and food was so authentic and amazing.
Nice place and delicious food , q All the staff are very king and friendly. Restaurant is very clean and clean Restroom . There is a parking lot in the corner near to traffic light , the parking is not free but no expensive. Very satisfying.
One of the best halal Middle Eastern food spots I've ever tried! The flavors were incredible authentic, rich, and perfectly balanced. The grilled meats were juicy and tender, the rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the hummus was unbelievably smooth. The service was friendly and made the experience even better. If you're looking for amazing halal food, this place should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended!
I recently visited Kamdesh Afghan Cuisine on 14th Street and left completely impressed. The atmosphere felt welcoming—spacious, bright, and family-friendly—with plenty of seating and even outdoor options . The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, greeting us like familiar guests . Standout dishes: • The Quabili Pallow stole the show: tender lamb shank nestled atop fragrant basmati rice with raisins and carrots—a truly comforting, rich standout . • The Bolani (stuffed flatbread)—crispy, fresh, accompanied by tangy yogurt—felt like the best homemade version you could ask for . • Kebabs were juicy and well-marinated, plus the Eggplant Borani and Mantoo dumplings added delightful variety and spice to the meal . Why I’ll be back: Generous portions, authentic flavors, halal meats, and a hospitable vibe—Kamdesh hits all the right notes. The restaurant feels like a comfy blend of home and tradition, with each dish showcasing real Afghan culinary spirit .
Janati khoraka ast. Its the food from Heaven. Wherever I go I blindly go to get this Heaven food. When I am not in this world then be able not to eat. This is a blessing on the Human being. Thanks Kamdesh Afghan Kabab House. God Bless Aghanistan and its people. Thanks my brothers and sisters, come and enjoy this food in the center of Oakland California.
I recently visited Kamdesh Afghan Cuisine, and I cannot say enough about their amazing food and exceptional customer service. I mentioned that my dad had been in the hospital and had specific dietary needs, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. They kindly removed the bones from the Qaubli Palau, making it easier for him to eat, and even included soup and a side as a thoughtful gesture. The food itself was incredible—rich, flavorful, and comforting—but what really stood out was their genuine care and kindness. I highly recommend them for not just their delicious dishes but also their compassionate service. Thank you for making our day a little brighter!
I went there for a family dinner. We were in the area and my brother in law recommended it. FIrst impression was very underwhelming. It’s in a shady neighbourhood of Oakland. No music, cafeteria style seating. The food was decent overall. I had the combo meat dish and it was dry. The rest of the group was happy with their order. The washrooms are clean, which is a good sign. It’s an excellent place for big groups and families. 5 stars because it exceeded my initial expectation and the staff was very friendly.
I went say it was very excellent service, very delicious food . The rest of the group was happy with their order. The washrooms are clean, which is a good sign. It’s an excellent place for big groups and families. 5 stars because it exceeded my initial expectation and the staff was very friendly.
The staff at this restaurant are not only friendly but also bring a delightful vibe to the dining experience. From the first bite to the last, the food is downright delicious, making every visit a taste bud adventure. Plus, the place is spick and span, adding to the enjoyment. With such an exciting array of dishes, I can't wait to dive into more culinary delights on my next visit!
I've been eating the Qabili Pallow here for over two years. It is fantastic every time!! Family run place. Underneath all that rice in the picture is a generous lamb leg. And their in-house habanero sauce (the orange bottle) is really tasty. I have never left the table unsatisfied. Highly recommended!
Very large Afghan restaurant in the heart of Oakland with a wide variety of dishes. We went in the evening when a family had rented out a portion of the restaurant for an event, so pretty lively! For our appetizer we tried an eggplant dip dish which was sooo good and for the entree we got the Kabuli Pulao which was soooo filling and obviously very shareable. Really simple tender lamb shank paired with fragrant spiced rice! I was daring and tried the doogh (salty cucumber and yogurt drink) but maybe I’ll pass on it until I become an advanced Afghan food appreciator! Really nice vibes and decoration with staff that are willing to help! :)
What an amazing find! I’d give 6 stars if I could. The absolute test for me on any Afghan/Mediterranean food is how good they can make Kobideh (Ground Beef) Kabob. And this place nailed it. It was juicy, well marinated and had an ever so thin crisp layer that I haven’t seen on any other place before. Everything else was perfect and on top of that had a unique taste. I could feel the aroma of soup in the lamb shank of Qabuli Pulao. They’re that good. Plus the service was extraordinary. Courteous and fast!
the food is amazing and im not joking when i say that ive NEVER received better hospitality than i have here by ALL the staff. they have vegan options!
A fantastic Afghan place with some of the best BBQ meats you'll eat! The chai is worth the trip by itself! Highly recommended
I’ve been to Kamdesh twice with a large group of people and both times the food has been incredibly delicious. The service is warm and I would go there much more often if I lived nearby. The prices are reasonable too.
Great restaurant with great Afghan food. The atmosphere is great for family dine in. Definitely visit this place if you are in East Bay
Delicious food and excellent service! A must-try if you find yourself in Oakland.
If your in the Downtown Oakland area check this place out for Afgani food. I will be back for more. There's a lot on the menu.
We are here tonight with a group of five. It was just fantastic. There was a buffet, so we got to try a lot of different dishes. The food was extremely good, with really wonderful flavor. It was clearly prepared with a motif of care and skill, and I enjoyed everything. The atmosphere is very casual and easy going. Felt homey and welcoming. Don't come expecting fancy, but if you are looking for a wonderful in a comfortable setting, I couldn't recommend it more highly. Places like this are what make living here great.
After months of planning and making sure we had the right crowd to eat like we meant business + everyone in stretchy feasting pants, we finally made it over to Kamdesh! We accidentally arrived for the first night of Ramadan and got to enjoy a special buffet! Everything on the buffet was beautifully seasoned with an excellent variety to chose from. Everyone had a different favorite dish. For me the vegetable dishes were the stand outs. Each had an unexpected depth of flavor that spoke to slow thoughtful cooking. At one point a little I had a little bite of onion and thought "Was that the most perfectly caramelized onion I have ever had?" Friends, I believe it was! If you have never had Afghan food this was a lovely way to try out a lot of small bites and find your favorite. If you love Afghan food you must stop by. Perfect for big groups. Absolutely recommend.
I do food deliveries regularly and often pick up orders from this Afghan restaurant. From day one, every staff member has been extremely kind, respectful, and welcoming. They are always organized and make sure orders are ready on time, which makes a big difference for us drivers. Today I had an amazing surprise — the owner kindly invited me to have dinner there on the house. I chose the lamb wrap, and it was absolutely delicious. The lamb was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with rich, balanced flavors. The bread was fresh, and the toppings complemented the meat perfectly, making the wrap both satisfying and flavorful without feeling heavy. More than just a great meal, it was a genuine act of generosity that truly meant a lot to me. This is the kind of place that values people — not just customers, but everyone involved. Highly recommend. Incredible team and amazing food.
This is the third year I organize a large event at Kamdesh in Ramadan. The service is excellent and the food is amazing. They are very generous and accommodating. Thank you for your service.
Great Afghan food with authentic flavor. The rice and kabobs were delicious, meat was tender, and everything tasted fresh. Friendly service and good portions. Highly recommend if you want real Afghan cuisine in Oakland.
I've lived in the neighborhood since 2014 and I can tell you that this is the only place here that makes you feel like you're right at home, eating delicious homemade food with your family. The flavors are incredible and the family that owns the restaurant are incredible. The only point of caution that I have is that the lamb challow is so big that you can probably split it amongst two people :)
Kamdesh Restaurant is an excellent place to enjoy authentic Afghan cuisine with rich flavors and traditional taste. The food is freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and truly represents Afghan cooking. From kebabs to rice dishes, everything is flavorful and satisfying. What really makes this restaurant stand out is the outstanding customer service. Naaz and Umaid provide exceptional service — they are friendly, attentive, and always make guests feel welcome. Their professionalism and positive attitude greatly enhance the dining experience. If you’re looking for delicious Afghan food with warm hospitality, Kamdesh Restaurant is highly recommended. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a place worth visiting again.
My friend ordered some carry outs from here to Fremont and the food was so good. Way better than the Afghan restaurants in Fremont. Can't wait to go there and try their dishes. 10/10
I absolutely love Kamdesh Afghan Restaurant. Every time I visit, the food is consistently delicious and full of rich, authentic flavor. You can really tell how much care they put into every dish. The service is always warm, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s truly one of my favourite places to eat, and I always leave satisfied and happy. Highly recommended to anyone looking for amazing Afghan food and wonderful hospitality!
The quabili pallow was so bomb! Actually my first time having afghan cuisine but I’m in love. (I personally feel like it’s a blend of middle eastern and Indian cuisine? I could be ignorant) I didn’t expect the yogurt drink to be a savory drink but I guess I need some more research on it. It also kinda makes sense as it balances out the fatty meat. The rice pudding also melts in ur mouth. Not too sweet with a hint of cardamom.
Went here on a sunny afternoon with my mom and was blown away by the space, quality of the food, and kindness of the staff! It has so many halal options and it’s a very spacious restaurant so it’s very wheelchair accessible/friendly (although I didn’t see the bathroom). The food was so flavorful and it came out nice and hot — they also have a traditional style seating area for large groups. I hope more people come here! We got the chapli chicken kabob, Afghan salad, and Kadu Bolani as well as black tea for just around $35 or maybe $45.
Amazing cuisine, super friendly service, and a spacious clean restaurant. All the dishes are great - my favorite is the quabili pallow, an incredibly succulent lamb shank dish buried under delicious rice mixed with carrots and raisins. Their grilled dishes are also special, they use actual charcoal for the best flavor.
As a multi generation native Californian this was my first taste of Afghan food. I discovered I have been missing out, delicious, very much in a comfort food kind of way. I look forward to eating here again soon!! A gem of a restaurant. So this was my very first time eating Afghan food. I was blown away, this restaurant is fantastic. Everything I tried was spectacular, delicious, and left wanting to eat more. I tried chicken, lamb, and steak kabob meats, the golden lentil Dahl, spinach, and sautéed okra dish. These sides I highly recommend, all of them. While they look and are named similarly to their Indian food counterparts, they are very much there own taste of Afghanistan. All unique and delicious in a way I call a yum factor the spicing, it was a new and lovable taste for me. The Afghan spicing blend in all their cooked foods, has that special way of making you want more, very satisfying meal. Not familiar with Afghan food? Think a beautiful blend or hybrid of cooking from the south and eastern Mediterranean foods and foods of India, which makes since given its geographical location. It’s own unique flavor that will leave wanting to back time and time again. This is a family ran restaurant, all the family was there including young children, and young adults, not uncommon from family restaurants I ate at with my family when I was younger. Everyone was friendly and polite. Our server’s English wasn’t the best but she tried hard and was a truly sweet young woman. The owner visited our table a few times, he is very dialed in and doing an amazing job. The food impressed so much, I found myself looking up traditional Afghan recipes when I got home as I only visit Oakland on occasion. This restaurant is a true gem!!
I have been coming here for almost a couple of years now and I’m very pleased to say that the service is always excellent. The food quality is very very good by looking at the food you can tell that it’s made out of fresh ingredients and also that that the vibe here is very good. Employees are taking all the safety precautions needed in order to run a great restaurant. The owner here itself is always available in order to make sure that the customer gets the best service and the best food. I came with my coworkers the other day and they service as they always do we were a group group of 20 people and then we just walked in did not made a reservation, but they were super happy to have us be seated and give us an excellent service with and great food. I also come with my family sometimes And when we are in Oakland, we make sure we stop by in this restaurant. They’re open 11 AM to 11 PM every day they also do catering. They also have a buffet sometime. And they also manage private if you would like.
Discover a delightful array of fresh premium meats and mouthwatering dishes at this buffet, an ideal option for a satisfying iftar, lunch, or dinner. The chef's expertise shines through in the flavorful creations, enhancing your dining experience with a fresh take on exquisite Afghan cuisine.
First time here! We went around closing time so it was pretty empty but the place itself was huge. I wished we came when it was a little busy cause the vibes would be more lively. The food was good but I thought the meat was a bit salty for my taste. The server was really nice and accommodating so I would give this place a try if you’re craving some afghan food.
First time visiting this restaurant with the hubby. Very enjoyable date spot. Such a beautiful culture and great customer service experience from a sweet young waitress. The food was beyond my expectations. Great portions for the price. Very well made and great temperatures on the food as well. I had the lamb and brown rice (amazing combination) hubby had the kamdesh chicken special was terrific as well. Definitely loved the green tea and the doogh is a must! We will be back to try more of the menu. Great atmosphere and big area for group dining.
great kabuli pulao and amazing portions and taste. they definitely need to bring more variety of desserts too.
The food was excellent. The lamb shanks were delicious, rice was exquisite, and the bolani appetizers were surprisingly hearty. Service was friendly. I'm taking away 1 star for service because after serving us, they seemed to forget all about us. We couldn't get the server's attention to ask about one entree they apparently forgot. I had to walk over to the cash register after we were all done to get their attention and pay for the meal. When I mentioned the missing entree, they were apologetic, took it off the tab promptly, and also made our hot tea complimentary. So overall very friendly and accommodating crew.
Come for the food and the service, both are amazing! The atmosphere is nothing special but you won’t regret coming. Reasonable prices and generous portions are a plus. The eggplant was terrific as was the bolani.
We had the Lamb with Sabzi and it was amazing! A big chunk of lamb and tasty sabzi. It reminded me of Afghanistan. I didn't like the mantoo with corn on top and a little spicy but it was not bad, just a personal taste and based on what I've had before. Service was good. The place is huge! The green tea is from a tea bag, I was sort of expecting that for 4 dollars at least it could be from a tea leaves. The yogurt drink with mint was very good. I'll be back!
Great food and friendly service. In downtown Oakland, which might scare off a few timid travelers, but, all in all, I recommend visiting. I ordered to go, and the host told me 20 minutes for the chicken breast kabab entree. It probably took 15, and I did not mind waiting. There was a big screen TV playing music video hits from the 90s (hello, BSB!), but I suppose that's better than nothing at all. The space is large, and if you are dining in, there's an option to sit in a special area which appears to give a more authentic Afghan dining experience (no shoes, low table). The food was cooked to perfection, of a good portion, and the spicy cilantro (?) sauce was heaven. Room for improvement: Men's bathroom. Things were clean enough, in appearance, but there was an unpleasant odor. Be prepared.
We had dinner here last night, and the food was absolutely 10/10 — delicious, flavorful, and served fresh. However, the cleanliness needs serious improvement. While the dining tables were clean, the floor seating area was extremely dirty. It looked like someone had eaten there and no one had cleaned up afterward — food bits, trash, and noticeable dirt were all over the floor. If they can step up their hygiene and maintenance, this place would easily be a 5-star experience. The food deserves it.
We were a group of 13. They accommodated our group by bringing two round tables together. All the grilled dishes were cooked well and tasty. The lamb shack was not flavorful, but cooked well. The eggplant dish was ok. The portions were big and filling. We didn’t like the fact that the food didn’t arrive together. Some dishes were too early and some were too late. The chef came out and greeted us. The workers were very nice and polite. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner. We got hot black tea after dinner and it came with
-1 star for qabili palau, as it wasn’t one. Plain white rice topped with carrot and raisins, seriously? Trust me, i know how it should look and taste like. -1 star for mixing up time on my order, and had to wait extra. I was in between meetings and had only 10mins to pickup my food and was late for my next meeting 15minutes Was hoping to get freshly baked naan, but it wasn’t as fresh, not sure if it was yesterday’s. Mantoo tasted average, nothing special. Not as good as other afghan places i’ve been to. Won’t be back.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon. It was nice to see the staff were cleaning the restuarant thoroughly. Plenty of seating. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was just okay for me. The Chapli kabob was just not as good as most places. The chicken kabob and beef kobedeh were delicious though as was the fresh pineapple juice. The eggplant borani was great as well Overall just average food though. But glad to patronize a halal establishment. Clean restroom and the upstairs had a whole area for prayer which I appreciated very much.
I came here for a group iftar. The food was okay, but there were noticeably more vegetarian options than protein options. The dishes were also extremely basic and did not feel like a true reflection of proper Afghan cuisine. What I didn’t like was that the buffet clearly did not have enough food for the number of people present. The servers kept saying, “It’s coming,” while people were waiting for dishes to be refilled. The total came out to $27.58 per person for very little food, which felt extremely overpriced for the options provided. Another issue is that you can’t run a buffet where food is made only as needed during iftar. Restaurants should roughly estimate how much food will be required. People also don’t have much time, since many need to leave for prayers. Overall, I do not recommend this place for iftar.
I hate to write this review because I wanted it to be a positive one, but it will not be. 😢 My partner and I went to this restaurant this past weekend. When we got here, we ordered the same dish as they were out of Kofta challow. We also got the mantoo. These items were delicious. The only thing I ordered for myself was the doogh, which seemed to taste fine. I also asked for the cilantro chutney, which I only ate as well with my dish. Unfortunately, 24 hours later, I have negative gastrointestinal symptoms. ☹️ I don’t feel well, and I’m worried it was either the chutney or the yogurt drink. Nonetheless, the service was fair and the family staff were kind. I am sorry, but I don’t think we will return back to the restaurant again.
Very bad service I ordered 3 meals and paid for them and when my son went to get them they only gave him 2 then I went back to the restaurant they didn't believe me I paid them and they didn't give me the full food
Absolutely disgusting experience. Ordered Bolani Ganda — not only was it drenched in oil and made with the wrong greens, but instead of packing it properly in a pizza box to keep it crispy, they shoved it into a noodle box, so it arrived smashed and soggy. When I tried to address the issue, they were incredibly rude, refused to admit their mistake, and even accused me lying. Total scam — avoid this place at all costs. Unfortunately, it was extremely oily and not actually Ganda — it seemed to be made with a different type of greens. I wouldn’t recommend ordering Bolani here, as the item was misrepresented. They are SCAMMERS and LIER
Wish I could give negative stars, came here for a wrap, ordered on the screen for a togo order and said hi to the guy since he was helping the single table of customers. Then it took 30 minutes to get my wrap, since his buddy came in for a togo order and he made his food first and chitchatted. Not worth your time or your money.
Very poor food quality and bad taste. I was unhappy with the food. Not recommended for people.
They don't welcome the right way. The lady she thinks she is mayor of the Oakland, with arrogant and profiling attitudes.
I ordered one item but received something different. The bread tasted bad and was low quality. The delivery was very late, and considering the high price, the overall experience was disappointing. I expected much better quality and service.
Went here around 7pm today with my family. This had to be one of the worst or the worst afghan restaurant I have ever been to. Their food was absolutely terrible. I threw away their chapli kabob due to its taste. I'm not one to ever throw food away but it was just terrible. My daughter's food was uncooked and she took just a few bites. The pricing of this place was terrible as well. We paid $124 for just 3 of us. Crazy expensive and the food was 1 star. They need to get a new chef. Server didn't know half of the dishes in the menu. She had to take the order twice because she didn't write it down the first time. Horrible service and food.
