La semana pasada estuve asistiendo al lugar, por lo menos una vez al día, el café es de buen sabor, solo el wifi se desconectaba de mi celular y una ocasión le pedí a un chico si tenía un papelito o la forma de decorar alguno de sus panes " feliz cumple " para mí novio pero no tuvo nada :( de ahí en fuera todo bien :)

Excelente servicio, y excelente café. El mejor lugar para relajarte y refrescarte después de ir a la playa. O para tomarte un café caliente después de comer o cenar. Las instalaciones están limpias y agradables, con un montón de libros y artículos para entretenerte.

Café situado justo a la entrada del camino a punta cometa, de muy buen sabor, muelen los granos de café ahí mismo... sabor excelente.

El lugar es hermoso, el chocolate también. Les falta mejorar en algunas bebidas como la leche dorada y el cold brew. El ambiente es excelente con muy buena vibra.

Comets Cafe roasts their own beans, and makes a great cappuccino. It's a community oriented open air cafe in a small town, very friendly staff and customers. Many customers stay and meet friends there, or make new friends there. I highly recommend this sweet rustic local cafe that offers shade and wifi.

Cafetería de especialidad tranquila y con un ambiente relajado. El servicio es poco dado a recomendar o asesorar (tienen varios modos de extracción de café). En general un lugar agradable. Por un Latte y un cold brew pagamos 105 pesos.

La primera vez que fuimos no estaba el barista y no pudieron prepararnos café. Al día siguiente el servicio y las bebidas estuvieron excelentes.

Cometa café is a nice place in Mazunte, I was sitting there for a breakfast. I chose to go with the “hot cake” (pancakes) which was good, fresh and delicious, andusually it comes with fruits but I don’t like watermelon and melon so I asked if ok with only bananas (see photo). I think the prices are decent, (the drinks a bit pricy to me) besides that, while eating I was dealing with like 80 flies that try to eat my food, was kinda annoying cause I felt it ruined the moment, but, I guess it’s the time of the year that there are lots of flies here in Mazunte.. Besides that the server was nice and patient. Thank you

We had high hopes for good specialty coffe judging by the reviews but were disappointed. The cold brew was waaay to strong and tasted as if it was just a regular coffee with some ice thrown into it, v60 was a bit better but nothing above average, hence the average score.

I've only been here once and had their Americano. It wasn't anything special. If you want really good coffee in the area go to Panadería las canastas. They had the best french press I've ever had.

I am disappointed by this place because it's not consistent. One day the servers are kind and helpful (Paula and Bea), the next they are apathetic and rude (Emo goth girl). Their espresso machine hasn't worked for weeks. I ordered the same drink 7 different times last week and today the order came out wrong. I had already paid, and tipped, when I was asked to PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE if I wanted the drink I actually ordered. What cafeteria does that? None! But I aquieced, and when I went to pay the girl says I didn't pay for my other drink. She then went and checked and saw in the system that I actually had. She didn't apologize. Then she couldn't let me pay with 500 pesos and didn't offer a solution. I left without drinking the coffee - losing 15 minutes, 75 pesos and a 10 peso tip for nothing. To the owner: there isn't an excuse for this poor service. And people know it. We go to great cafeterias every day of our lives, all over the world and we know what we can expect. You can and should do better. So in the end, why drink coffee at a place that has terrible customer service, poorly prepares drinks, can't accept payment, has a broken espresso machine, and all the noise and dust from the cars passing by? The answer is to simply get coffee somewhere nicer and more consistent.

We ordered memelitas that were very delicious. Chilaquiles did not have spice because they had not prepared ahead of time the Chile; they where definitely lacking the traditional flavor (I'm Mexican). The girl that served us did not smile once and communication was not clear (I speak Spanish). They charged us different costs per protein and do not have certain items on their menu, all of this was not mentioned beforehand. It's not about about the money but transparency and trust. I hope the owner reads this review and takes it into consideration. Overall ok and they have free wifi for digital nomads.

Very good coffee but really stupid ‘break’ system. Went in the morning and they were on a break for 15 mins. Went back at 1.35pm and they said they were on a break til 2pm. We were in a bit of a rush but decided to wait. I went to order just after 2pm and they said another 10 mins… surely they have enough staff to make a quick coffee when someone has waited that long on the promise of a coffee at 2pm. Anyway, we had to leave at that point and didn’t have time for a drink elsewhere. Don’t recommend if you need to be anywhere anytime soon. A system that is so time-wasting and bound to put customers in a bad mood.

Je commande un macchiato à emporter ce qui revient à presque 3€ et je reçois ça … (voir photo). Ce qui s’appelle un expresso noisette. Pour un endroit censé être spécialisé en café, il faudrait peut être revoir les bases ! Un macchiato se sert dans une grande tasse, avec du lait chaud. Pour qu’il soit froid il faut ensuite le frappé avec des glaçons…. Honteux !

el lugar es agradable, el café no está tan mal, pero lo que si está pésimo es el chocolate y la atención del personal.

La cajera no nos aviso que cambiaron los precios del menú antes de que lo veamos y hacia varios días que ya lo había subido en el sistema. Ofrecen un menú de "temporada baja" y cuando vas a pagar te lo suben al 50%, pedí unos chilaquiles con pollo de $80 y cuando fui a pagar me lo subieron a $120 y no me respetaron el precio como lo estaban ofreciendo en el menú y también el café de olla que estaba a $35 lo cobran a $45 y la mesera no pudo hacer nada al respecto. Sólo me dijo que haga mi descargo dejando un comentario al lugar para que se tome cartas en el asunto. El ambiente muy descuidado y sucio. La comida desabrida, sin sabor. Pedimos un sándwich gurú y no tenía ni sal. Mis chilaquiles tardaron 50 min en llegar. Estaban muy grasosos, sin sal y el pollo se saboreaba en mal estado. Nos llevamos una muy mala experiencia. Nos habían recomendado este lugar solo por el café y literal fue lo único rescatable del lugar. Terminamos pagando más de $100 por los dos.

Para iniciar, los chicos fueron muy mala onda, como que no querían atendernos. Al recibir las bebidas nos la dieron medio vacías, si crees pedir un cold brew recibirás un vaso de plástico de número #8 a la mitad. El café americano estaba sin buen sabor. No les recomiendo que asistan a esta cafetería.

Para ser una cafetería dentro de un pueblo mágico si deja mucho que desear, y no por su café sino por la atención al cliente. No toman en cuenta si el deseo del cliente es llevarse su café porque ya se va, lo menciono ya que la cajera con la mala actitud no preguntó si lo tomaría ahí o me lo llevaría, a lo que cuando me lo entrega en el jarrito le pregunto si tiene para llevar y en su respuesta grosera fue "tu basurita te cuesta 5 pesos" por el vaso desechable. Como gerencia o dueños del lugar lo invito a pensar en su clientela, no todos llegan a tomar café con calma, los vasos desechables tienen una función y reconozco que los tengan con material biodegradable, sin embargo el hecho de RECALCAR "la basurita" me pareció déspota y grosero. Si quieren tomar como iniciativa la generación cero de residuos lo pueden hacer pero con una mejor capacitación del trato al cliente por parte de su personal.

Los drinks de café casi no tenían cafe, el chocolate muy aguado 😐. Ninguna medida de higiene y prevención para Covid, incluso la señora que nos atendió se burló porque limpamos la mesa con alcohol y papel. Apenas el lugar era agradable y la soda de jengibre estaba ok.

Café regular, al igual que el chocolate!! Pero la atención de lo peor, apenas nos volteo a ver la cajera, tardaron más de 30 min para un sándwich!! Cero recomendación mientras este el personl de hoy!!

El peor cold brew que he probado: me cobraron 50 pesos por un vaso de plástico de esos de refresco con lo que parecía el café que se va quedando de otras órdenes y hielos. Horrible.

La atención súper mala, la chava grosera con pesima actitud... El café decía que costaba 45 pesos y me cobraron 60, además era súper poquito, creí que Starbucks era caro pero ahí de perdida te tratan bien y te dan un chingo de café, cero recomiendo, buuu, todo lo demás en mazunte está bien chido

Steer clear of this place. The people who work here have a really bad attitude which is selective. I get treated good but my girlfriend gets a cold shoulder because she doesn't speak spanish. The day she was treated badly even the owner joined in. I really hope that one day they understand that offering free bathroom and wifi to anyone whether they pay or not is the key to people spending lots of money in their business.
