I love their slight remodelled interior and it's always been a pleasure coming here! The Panda Express has always been my occasional go to and their employees are very kind, often tired from working so hard! They do a great job tho, I don't know how they manage to pull through some tough shifts around heat lamps all day! I do recommend coming here for a tray of tasty noodles, rice, and a good assortment of entree options like their classic orange chicken or broccoli beef or something like that! Wonderful restaurant!

They are always busy .. line out the door! They do their best with moving the line quickly. The restaurant is shared with a Mexican restaurant and bakery inside. They look good too! The sitting area is pretty cozy and small. The customer need to clean up after themselves. This is fast food where you pick up after yourself!

Visiting in Santa Monica, I was tired and hungry after sightseeing when I walked by the Panda Express. The delicious aroma made me pause, but I would still have gone on when I noticed the line of people. Drawn in, I got in the line, which moved quickly, and 4 minutes later, I sat down to a plate of mushroom chicken over noodles with a side of steamed broccoli and bok choy. Everything was warm and quite tasty, and better yet, the chicken was mist and the veggies hadn't turned to mush. Gourmet? Certainly not, but for $7.99 it was quite tasty and wholesome. I've been back 3 times so far, and and found the food uniformly well prepared. I have to point out that this is the only Panda Express I been too so I am endorsing this location only. My guess is that the location in the middle of the Montana Avenue shopping district (and near a Big Blue Bus stop) means high volume so nothing stays on the steam table for long.

Two restaurants in one building, the line goes outside the building which makes it bad on cold and rainy days. The staff wasn't friendly at all. A very small place to eat inside.

Updating my ancient review of this panda: The last few months they have been loading up the tray to the top, best value for portions in the city right now! Wrote to them about my concerns with portion size and shrinkflation and it seems like they’ve listened. Still holding that last star until they bring back sweetfire chicken 😉

This restaurant always keeps their food counter well-stocked and I rarely find them out of anything. The spring rolls are always very good. They do a lot of business and have very little seating. Some days the food tastes better than others, depending on how busy they are affecting how much cooking time they have.

Ford is typical fast food chain Chinese. The service here is hit or miss. And even though they're open until 9:30p, they start getting ready to close by 8p, meaning only food that's cooked, no more anything, etc. And always check every single thing in your order if you call it inn as pick up.

I can tell the staff try hard, but this may be the worst Panda Express I've visited. The food's never exceedingly fresh and the portions are just a bit smaller in comparison to other Pandas. The containers they use for take out are different; less durable than other Pandas. They're compostable, I get it but there has to be a better, less flimsy option. They don't have the drink station is behind the counter due to space constraints (it's a nitpick, I know, but I like to fill my Hydroflask with ice-water and don't like to bother the staff for that.) All that said, the worst Panda is still pretty good, but if you have a choice between this and another Panda, I can't say I'd pick this one.

Overall experience is middle, a 3. Only reason it was a three was because it did not feel so welcoming. Not sure it the customer service or the area but made it feel ok but not great 😓 There were some nice employees I bet but maybe tired idk 🤷‍♀️

I love the food at Panda Express in general. However at this location it can be good one they and not so good another day. There is no consistency. The staff is nice and the lines are generally not that long. There is a huge parking lot in the back and is very convenient.

I think they changed spicing to cheaper option. Way saltier than used to be. Panda used to have pretty decent Chinese food as they were started by the Panda Inn restaurant.

I’m getting tired of being bullied into donating. I said not today when I asked, and the guy was like well. It’s only a few cents and I said no I’m not going to do that. I used to do it sometimes but after this particular time now. Plus their food is mostly not good for you so not worth the hassle.

I do not recommend! Chow mein was overcooked and bitter, the orange chicken and the Beijing beef were dry. the staff is not friendly and the was in a hurry. the place itself is very old and worn out. however there is free parking and a toilet. visit only if there is almost no money and really want to eat. in other cases, choose a different location :)

On last Sunday, on Aug , 27، the store was not crowded, the taste of food on mixed beef and vegetable was bad , not fresh ( most probably,White onion or red green paper was old )whenever at the middle of food I told the problem to them, some body named Cindy started very aggressive talking with awful body language and denied the problem. Newly, they don't care about food, portions smaller than before, food often doesn't look fresh, one time the toilet was so dirty with late Tidy.

This was my third times in this restaurant and every time the place was disgustingly filthy. The ones in the hood are much cleaner. It definitely needs cooperation's attention. The last two times I came in around 9 pm, near its closing time, all food were cold and awful. I normally eat at Panda 4 times a month.

Consistently Poor Management Last dining experience the Uncleaned Shrimp Entrails Were Dangling from the Entrre The manager was super snnoying regarding my cash return. Unprofessional and misleading discounts-coupons Seating Area looked like a food fight had occurred. Poor ownership and management CONSISTENTLY bad. Better off getting a ramen cup @ 99 cent store. Overpriced and vague indistinguishable meats

They gave us very little food, when we asked if we could get more they said no we can only give a certain amount. Not only that but the plates to go are not the standard panda plated they are way smaller. The panda on Wilshire next to home depot gives you two scoops of food and here they only gave us one scoop. Just not the kind of service I'm used to. The one on Wilshire is the best by far. This one not so good.

They never have your food ready when ordering online. Edit: They just lowered their already low standards. Order is late as usual. The broccoli beef I ordered had one tiny piece of beef. And the fortune cookie packaging was already opened. This is by far the worst Panda Express location I've ever visited.

The girls that work the later shift (Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 @ 7:30PM) basically rush you through ordering and out the door, and have little patience with customer service. Because of this my order was mixed up and I did not get what I wanted. I'm not a prick to cause a scene over a mistaken order in public, but she didn't even offer or ask if I wanted sauce with my veggie rolls & food! And rang us up as quickly as possible. This has turned me off from returning to this establishment.

2 dinners sent rock hard orange chicken, over cooked broccoli WITH ONE PIECE OF MEAT EACH. When I called to complain and ask for replacement the manager told me to call Corporate to get tefund. I am done with ALL delivery food and will order via Instacart and heat frozen meals.

Avoid this location!!! Very poor servings at this joint, they will literally give you 50% less protein compared to others and even the side is minimal little portions here. The manager of the store is very rude with customers and employees as well. So find another better served location if you want to enjoy your meal. Not recommended at all!! Waste of money..

2 times I've been there and both times have been bad experiences. The cashier "Eder" got mad because I had to pay and bag my 5 orders separately. Being vocal about how frustrating these orders are and angrily chopping the the teriyaki chicken. Tossing the items in the bag and rolling his eyes when I asked for drinks for the orders. If all 5 of us went to order, it would've been the same thing. No reason for the attitude. I understand nobody likes to work but come on. Thats what you get payed for. Just do your job and get on with your day. Don't waste your time here.

I ordered food that I always order. Only this time there was larva in the broccoli 🤮. Even after returning to the restaurant and showing the larva, I was not refunded my money or offered any other food. Disgusting! I'm even in doubt if none of the previous orders had larvae and I just didn't pay attention. I will not return.

Panda Express is exactly the reason why I prefer to get my food in person rather than ordering online. I ordered a bowl, very simple, all I asked for was a 1/2 serving of rice with beef and broccoli. Well, what I got was 1/2 serving of beef broccoli and rice. The broccoli was half pale green and half yellow and the beef was dry. So I'm assuming they gave me what was left in the bottom of the pan before they put the fresh batch out. Very disappointing for me because I have been sick for a few months and today was one of those days where I felt like I could finally eat something that I love and miss; I wanted Panda but they did me dirty y'all, they did me dirty.😢😒

This was by far the worst Pand Express I've been to. Service was mediocre, one of my item choices ran out, I was told more was being cooked and it would be brought out to me, it should be put in 5-6 minutes. 10 minutes go by, we had just about finished our meal and still nothing. I got up to check and was told another couple of minutes. When I finally got my missing food choice, it was just handed to my daughter without so much as an apology for it taking so long. I definitely wouldn't recommend eating here.

Every time I order Uber eats from here, you guys NEVE put condiments in the bag. No soy sauce or chili sauce. I mean it's Chinese food with no soy sauce that's pretty wack. The worst part is that on the app there is no option to request condiments. This is always so disappointing.

More importantly the food here is served totally stale toward the end of the night. The orange chicken isn't prepared right either theres barely any orange sauce detectable and its dry and way overcooked. Never been to a panda this bad I hope they get it together because it was great the first week it opened.
