Great store with fantastic customer service. The guy behind the counter was generous with the butter sauce and banana peppers. Pizza came out great and the app worked well too. Its a shame their parking lot and shopping center is littered with homeless. Just kind of made picking up the pizza a little uncomfortable. Over all great experience.

For a national chain with premium prices, I expected better service and accountability. That said, I recently decided to call the store directly to see if anything could be done. I spoke with a manager named Eric, and I have to say — he completely turned the experience around. Eric was kind, understanding, and professional. He genuinely listened to my concerns without making me feel like I was just complaining. He even acknowledged that it’s their responsibility to make things right & offered me a free salad on my next order as a gesture of goodwill. While the repeated mistakes were disappointing, I really appreciated Eric’s approach and willingness to make it right. Because of that positive interaction, I’m willing to give this location another chance as it has been a lifelong favorite pizza place of mine. thank you so much, Eric!

It’s Papa John’s I can’t go too rough on a review. Pizza is your standard Papa John’s pizza, nothing crazy different here. You gotta know what you’re buying. I will say the one bad thing about getting pizza here can be the people hanging around outside.

The delivery driver approached the door with his mask under his chin, expecting to hand the food to me. When I said I thought everything was contract free, he said, "some people don't mind." He asked me where I wanted the food, but I had added delivery instructions with a placement specified. I'm urging you to train your drivers better. Besides lack of attention to detail, he had no face covering, and that is unacceptable around food. Pizza was delicious.

The wings were poorly sauced but weren't bad! The pizza was overcooked with barely any toppings. The food was mediocre at best.

The 50% off deal of any regular price pizza is a great deal. I ordered the XL Works pizza normally priced at $31.00, instead paid $16.00. The pizza tasted delicious and made fresh.

We waited almost two hours for delivery and never got as we finally cancelled. We live on Camp Pendleton in a new area that does not show up on GPS and prior to ordering made sure they were familiar with our neighborhood. They assured me they were. I even went so far as to ask for the driver that knew the area and said they could call me right as they got on base so we could explain where our home was. Well over an hour later we received a call from the driver that he was lost (almost by the Fallbrook gate we are near front gate) so I sent him very clear directions and a pin drop of our location. When I called the store to see if they could refund us, they assured us he was close and offered a redemption. Basically we would pay tonight but we would have 2 free pizzas in the future, OR they could have new pizzas made and sent out. We accepted thinking driver was close. He was not. Basically we asked for a seasoned driver they sent a new one and he drove around base looking for our home. We finally just cancelled when he told us he was up by San Onofre (30 mins north). The store tried to send new pizzas but we had already delayed our movie night with our 2 year old and fed her PBJ and ordered ourselves something else. It was a terrible experience for us and I feel awful for their driver as he was new. The ONLY reason the review has 2 stars is because the driver was new thrown into a bad situation and he was very understanding and nice.

I got delivery from here twice. They take longer than Domino's and Pizza hut. They were 7 minutes away from our place but would take an hour to deliver, no matter what time of day we order. The food would be cold or barely warm by the time it arrived. The food quality isn't even as good as the standard Papa John's. I'm not sure how picking up or eating there is though, but delivery twice was bad enough to not bother.

I'm not going to waste much time here, just my recommendation...dont eat here. Papa Johns is a nice company, but this is'nt a papa johns. It's basically a pretend pizza place. I ordered an Italian sausage pizza. The issue starts with the sausage, everyone that tasted it ( 5 people including myself) were 100 % certain they used breakfast jimmy dean sausage for my pizza. Way too much cheese, and barely any actual dough. So I ended up with breakfast sausage on melted cheese, instead of a slice of pizza. I would give zero stars if possible. I did'nt even know pizza places carried breakfast sausage.

Literally waited over an hour and still no pizza even though our email receipt said 39 mins to get our pizza. I called and asked for an update and was told they would get the order to us in about 45 mins because they are short staffed and the time estimate in the email was incorrect. I had to cancel my order because we were hungry and didn’t want to wait 2 hours. All they said was “sorry about that”. Horrible

Ordered 1 large pizza and hot wings. Pizza crust was so think and undercooked that is was chewy and flimsy. The hot wings had no sauce (very little). We also order extra peppers did not get those as well. What is going on at this location????

Worst staff ever. Ordered a Pizza, after an hour of waiting i called and they said i have no recollection of the order. Then was hung up on. After calling for about 15 minutes bevause no one would answer, the manager was completely rude. The worst customer service.

I ordered through Uber Eats this last time, which, in addition to ordering from Papa John’s in the first place, was a dumb move. I couldn’t even cancel my order after all this. Zero stars. Made an online order for delivery and it never showed up. We called asking about it after about an hour and a half and the dispatcher said they couldn't track the driver. We ordered 2 pizzas and garlic knots on Mother's Day. It took over 2 hours to receive our order and it was cold. After an hour from placing our order we called Papa John- first the lady (I believe she was either the manager or the delivery driver) who answered the phone told us that we had the wrong location, then she told us that our order went out and the delivery driver called us and there was no answer. Well everyone that has a phone knows that your phone shows incoming and out going calls and I told her that we received no calls. She recited the number and we again told her no one called. Next they said it would take another 30 minutes to get our order. I asked for a discount because I knew the pizza would be cold. It has taken so long to get our order and that it was Mother's Day. She stated that they would remake our order. Over 2 hours later we finally received our order. It was cold. Toppings were skimpy . And we received about a 3 dollar discount. Don't order from this Papa John's they are liars, make excuses, don't know how to deliver or make Pizzas properly.

If I could give you 0 stars I would. My husband and I placed an order at 6:12. It is now 7:42 with no contact. There is nowhere on your site or app to track our order....even though your add for your app says you can track the order. We have tried to call the store 4 times and it's like the number doesn't exist. The phone rings but no one answers. After a minute of waiting out the rings, our phone cuts the call like the number doesn't exist. We have been charged for our pizza and would like our money back since we never got our freaking pizza! This is not ok. I used to like you guys. What a bummer

Do NOT order from this location!! The staff is unprofessional and tries to blame all issues on the customer. Ordered delivery that was supposed to be there in 30 minutes, after 45 I called (note: they never reached out to me even though they knew the pizza was not delivered). They then proceeded to tell me I was lying about not being called by the driver. They never once apologized for any inconvenience, I never received the pizza and had to demand a refund of which they end up keeping the "service fee" - terrible customer experience - STAY AWAY!!!!

No prices listed in store, and the people behind the counter were unhelpful in helping me determine the prices for the pizzas. A friend got a pizza for $9 when mine was billed for $20 so I cancelled it despite the pizzas we ordered being largely the same.

If the store closes at ten, how is it safe, or how it does it make sense to keep the customer standing outside. If the area is not safe enough for you to leave the door open. Why is it safe enough for the customer to stand outside and wait for their order? Make it make sense papa john.

I even asked for easy cheese because you know.. pizza makers love to make that cheese rain but it's seriously no good for you. Everything in moderation. Pepperoni was crispy which I love but it's not hard to make thinly sliced pepperoni crisp. Also do you not make your garlic butter sauce anymore that shizz was the best. Also 1.. literally 1 peppecinni and 1 packet of some "special seasoning" for 1 large pizza. The manager then said the driver will be on the road in 5 minutes. 30 minutes later the driver is now finally on the road and upon delivery as you probably could guess my food was cold. For now on I will be tipping cash at the door based on delivery service instead of tipping on the mobile order prior to delivery.
