Opinions de Tellers Oklahoma City
Had such a great experience with our server! She was super attentive, knew the menu inside and out, and even gave us great recommendations. Honestly one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time. We were a party of four, and it was my first time dining at Tellers. Everything we ordered was delicious. We tried three appetizers and three entrées, and I ended up sharing since I wasn’t super hungry
Oh my gosh, what an awesome place! My wife and I went there for the first time ever on the afternoon of New Year’s Eve. First, if you love art deco, you will really love the architecture from floor to ceiling. I found it to be beautiful. Also, they decorate BEAUTIFULLY for Christmas, it’s just stunning to see and walk around. You can also see very cool bank vaults, safes, old cars and other nostalgia. We ended up finding seats at the bar to have drinks and also to order food from the restaurant. We had wine and I also had an Old Fashioned. The bar staff was just really friendly, the food was DELICIOUS, and the atmosphere was classy. Whether you are in your 20s or baby boomers as we are, you will find a gem in this place. Oh, my wife had stuffed cannoli and I had the wood fired pizza. Great experience!!! We will be back.
What a beautiful place to eat a meal! First off, you should go see the location just for the architecture and decor. It was so impressive to me. The actual restaurant part was lovely, as well. The menu isn't overwhelming, so it's easy to focus in on a dish or two to your liking. We started off with the fried artichoke hearts which were the star of the show. I would return just for those. We also ordered some mushrooms to enjoy, and I could live without order those again. They do bring out some complimentary bread which was tasty. I ended up ordering a Caesar salad and the formaggio and pesto pizza, and my friends both got the lobster ravioli. The salad has a more lemon based flavor to it which I enjoy, but my friend didn't like it so much. The pizza was everything I'd hoped for and more, so good! The lobster ravioli actually had a bit of a kick to it, and I enjoyed tasting it. We had great service and were treated so well. I definitely would like to return. If you do park in the garage, it's around $10 and you can grab the elevator to take you to the second floor where the restaurant is located. You can also go to the first floor and walk the long hallway and take a right to go up the escalator.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Tellers is in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City in the historic National Bank. The decor is stunning, and during the holidays even more so. Prices vary but are in the more moderate to high side. Tea parties and bar on site. Staff is very professional and accommodating. Food is delicious and ample. Kid-friendly and ADA-compliant.
We had a lovely lunch. It was mid afternoon and we did not wait, but we ate at the bar. We had great service and the bartender was very attentive. I had a lemon drop and the hamburger. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. It's a must visit for the Christmas Decorations!
I am so glad I found this place for dinner. the Beef Carpaccio was unbelievable and the lobster raviolio was just as good. My server Jessica was also fantastic. I expect to be back in town twice a year for the next 4 years for a trade show and I will be here every visit.
Had an incredible experience at tellers last night. Jessica, our server was incredibly attentive, helpful, fun and friendly. Delicious food great drinks incredible ambience. Very special place. I’d highly recommend it. Also I’d recommend starting with a drink in the vault downstairs. Such a cool vibe all around.
The service at Teller’s is always incredible! Last night was super special - we had William and Max at the bar before dinner then Joe in the dining room. All three of them are outstanding and hospitable beyond measure! The carpaccio is so cravable! We must always start with that app! We had the burrata last night and it was great! Last night we tried the new formaggio pesto pizza and it was the best pizza ever! Great cocktails and food! We will make our next reservation with Joe - ask for him on your next visit!!!
We had an amazing brunch. Beautiful architecture and relaxed atmosphere. The avocado toast was fantastic. We will be back.
I'm not certain how they could step up their holiday decor game any more than they have in the past, but this year's decor is 20 out of 10! The food never disappoints. The atmosphere is great. The only downside is now with the popularity of the restaurant you can't always get in. I'd say that's a good problem though!
What a beautiful resturaunt, amazing food, and the nicest staff, David at the bar was truly awesome handling not only our needs but EVERYONE else in the packed area. Highly recommend the lasanga, margherita pizza, apple crisp, and Roy Rogers. 10/10 across the board!
Stumbled into Tellers this week and couldn't have been happier that I did. What an environment, what a cocktail list. The atmosphere was great but the highlight was Max the bartender. His attentiveness, helpfulness and service was top notch. He helped make sure our experience at his venue was the best it could and shared some insider knowledge to ensure my Oklahoma City experience was the best with local recommendations. Tip of the hat sir. All expectations exceeded.
A very beautiful building from the 1930’s that was originally the First National Bank. The restaurant is just up the escalators, be sure to spend plenty of time looking around, the older teller windows are still there and there is a bar in the middle of the floor. The service was great (ask for Holly she was wonderful), the food was good.
Our food was good. Maybe a bit pricey for what you receive (just my opinion). Drinks were really good. Atmosphere is very cool.
Wow! I am really blown away with this experience. The first thing you notice when you walk into tellers is the grand architecture of this establishment. It is the perfect atmosphere for fine dining with the family and celebrating special occasions. The food was wonderful as well! The servings were plenty and the flavor profile for each dish was absolutely wonderful. I was blown away. Finally, the service was amazing. Our server was very attentive and made sure that we were taken care off. My water was always full and he was always making sure that we were doing well. I appreciate him being on top of making sure that we were taken care of. All in all, Tellers was an amazing experience and I’m looking forward to returning as soon as I’m in Oklahoma City next!
First, to the human who saw this space and envisioned a restaurant, all the way down to the basement Vault, you are a genius. Thank you! On to the good stuff. We were a party of 10 (birthday party) and a party of 2 (designated drivers). As one of the designated drivers, I can only tell you my experience but in an informal poll later one, my 11 family members all agreed with what I’m about to say. After we checked in, we wandered the floor. From the marble columns to the clever use of the teller windows and bank offices, the atmosphere was spot on. We were seated just minutes after the clock ticked over to our reservation times. I’m kicking myself for not remembering her name but she was simply wonderful. When we asked for her thoughts on various dishes, she jumped right in with what she liked about each dish, made recommendations, and according to our taste buds, the she was spot on every time. The servings were generous and delicious. Appetizers, main course, side dish, and dessert were all complaint free. Downstairs in the Vault, Zane was legendary. Engaging, funny, and ready with the drink recommendations, he checked on us regularly and his recommendations were all huge hits. All in all, I am thrilled Oklahoma City has this restaurant in its growing list of top shelf eateries. And I am looking forward to my next visit.
Wonderful food offerings nestled in an equally wonderful esthetic. I flew into town to surprise my daughter at her job. I ordered two strip steaks to go and we tailgated at her job from my rental car. I don't think either of us will forget it.
Everything about this place says exquisite. The food is on the pricier end but it’s worth the money as the quality of the food is top notch and taking the ambience in account its a total package. The lights, the architecture, the open bar area, the spaciousness, all add up to make your experience a memorable one. I believe it’s the perfect place to celebrate anniversary or to go on dates for. Try the pesto pizza and the rose regale wine it’s must have.
Teller in Oklahoma City offers a breakfast experience that’s as visually stunning as it is delicious. Set inside a beautifully repurposed historic bank, the space is nothing short of grand—towering pillars, detailed stonework, and a sense of timeless architecture that feels straight out of a Capitol building. It’s the kind of atmosphere that makes even a simple morning feel special. I ordered the omelette, and it was truly exceptional—one of the best I’ve had. The texture was perfectly fluffy and delicate, and the addition of fresh arugula and spinach brought a light, earthy brightness that elevated the entire dish. Every bite felt balanced and fresh. The coffee was also fantastic—smooth, strong, and clearly brewed with care. It’s always a treat when a breakfast spot takes coffee seriously, and Teller absolutely does. Service was warm and attentive without being intrusive, which added to the relaxed-yet-refined experience. Whether you're a local looking for a sophisticated morning outing or a visitor wanting something memorable, Teller delivers a breakfast that feels indulgent, intentional, and beautifully executed—all in a setting that’s truly one of a kind.
Stopped in for an early dinner on a week night. Location has valet but street parking was easy to find. Restaurant is beautiful! The historic building gives a wonderful atmosphere. My food was phenomenal. I had the Cacio e pepe with broccolini. We tried the Meatballs. I found them just ok but the sauce was lovely and the bed of polenta was the star of the dish. For dessert we tried the Affogoto witch was delightful. Espresso was rich and the ice cream was good; not gelato but good.
We came here for my birthday. Kendal was our waitress and she was very informative about the building and answered all our questions about the menu. The food was phenomenal. We all had different dishes and agree it was delicious. They even gave me a piece of berry cheesecake for my birthday. Definitely recommend Tellers!
So happy we switched our reservation from a different restaurant to here. Awesome historical building renovated for this restaurant and hotel/condos/bar. The service (Juan was our sever) was perfect - came around just enough but not too much. He knew the history of the building and gave us insight on that as well. The food was wonderful. We had the burrata to start then the strip steak and the carbonara. We loved that the carbonara had an egg yolk on it - the best way to have it. Steak was cooked perfectly and the broccolini was incredible too. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The food was DELICIOUS!! My sister took me for a birthday brunch!! The service was amazing. Our waiter Devin was fantastic. It was a little pricey, but that was to be expected. Definitely a special treat!
A very nice Italian restaurant …great ambiance. Excellent meatball appetizer as starter. Sophia recommended it along with lobster ravioli for main dish. Both were super. Make sure to try out their special national smoked old fashion , excellent! They even have a selection of very nice mocktails.
Fantastic dinner experience, it's on the pricier end but it is well worth it - a great alternative to the many steakhouses around. The portions were reasonable sizes and I felt that I got good value for the price, it's a date night kind of place with fascinating history! This is all original interiors from the First National Bank founded in the 1930's and it is glorious. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area, they've also got an incredible speakeasy-style bar in the basement that is open 5-11 weeknights and I believe 5-12 weekends. Zane was our server and he did great, 5 stars for my boy
The restaurant is located inside a place that used to be a bank. It is definitely a must see. The aesthetic is superb. The food was beyond delicious. I love a restaurant that truly goes above and beyond. It is a great place for date night or to enjoy amazing food. Either way you can't lose.
I went here for a valentine's dinner and I have to say I love the subtle ambience. However, I'm not a fan of three-course meals that feel like one because they're so small. I do understand that it adds to the whole social experience so no complaints. Finally, the chocolates that they gave us were phenomenal.
Teller’s nailed it with the chef’s special. The dish came out looking sharp, tasted even better, and the flavors actually made sense together. Seasoned right, cooked right, valet parking available. Decent place for an in and out meal
Just had dinner here last night and I brought three of my closest friends. Service was incredibly slow but our waitress let us know it was her first time on her own so we of course gave her grace. We felt bad for the table next to us because every time the waitress came by, the person at the end of the table had to get up and move out of the way. Eventually they just moved to sit on the booth side next to their date. Food was delicious and the Christmas decorations are a must see this time of year!
Tellers is in a beautifully, restored building. I had a drink and the only thing that could be made vegan on the menu broccolini. They make pasta in house but it has egg in it. The ambiance is great, the virgin mojito I had tasted good but was way too full of ice, and the food was ok, as well. It's disappointing that they have so few vegan options. I sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive but unsure of vegan options. Overall a nice place to have a drink before dinner downstairs and Stock and Bond.
I’ve been here before but jeez the place does impress. Great ambiance. Prefect for date night. But not the place if you’re on a budget. Staff was excellent- kept checking on us brought out items, offered suggestions, asked about allergies, restrictions.
Place is great! Atmosphere inside the bar is so cool. Took a ton of pictures! Food was decent. Bar tenders were very nice, but one of them was new and didn’t know how to make our drinks so we sat for quite a while waiting for someone who knew how. Food came out at the same time as our appetizer... little weird. But I'll definitely visit again when we're back for our conference in Aug.
My wife and I ate breakfast at Tellers both mornings of our stay and were pleased each time. The first morning she ordered the avocado toast and an espresso and really enjoyed both. I had the biscuits and gravy with sausage and orange juice. It was very good overall, though I would not have minded just a touch more gravy. The server was so nice and attentive this morning. The second morning she tried the oatmeal with an Earl Grey tea with cream. She mentioned the oatmeal was a little bland even with the apples and toppings, but still solid. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese and really liked it. The peppers added a nice flavor and it also came with potatoes, which was a nice surprise. The server this morning was a little hard to find and quick in checking on us, there wasn’t many others eating there that morning. Overall it was a convenient and reliable breakfast option during our stay. I do wish there were a few more breakfast choices on the menu, but what we had was enjoyable.
I honestly wish we would have come here when they didn’t have their Valentine’s Day menu. I came into the night excited for some sort of pasta, but the four courses of their special menu were disappointing. The bread was cold and the difficult to chew. I had the smoked beef appetizer which was good, but the beet was overpowering. My husband got the scallop crudo which was okay when you got to where the lemon had sat for a bit, but there was a decent portion of the dish where you were just eating raw scallop. Then I got the cucumber and tomato appetizer which had very little cheese or dressing, but a hefty portion dill. The tomatoes were an odd texture. My husband liked his salad, I can’t remember the name. The beef wagyu was delicious, no hits here. My husband had the lobster tail and it was mediocre with the risotto having very little flavor - even just a little garlic or salt would have helped it. Which is so sad because risotto is one of our favorites. I did really enjoy the dessert box we got to take home. I feel like this would have been a very different experience if we would have came on a different day, but I probably won’t be back. We would’ve been able to have a tastier meal for a lot less than $400 somewhere else.
I don't like giving bad reviews and many times I just chose to not even write one because I dislike giving them so much. However I just can't wrap my head around how mediocre this was. It was a beautiful restaurant, and the food a had decent presentation that was were it ended. Pictures say some many words and if you noticed the pizza was floating, and the 100 layer lasagna was an empty cupboard. Brick oven pizza should be fired, crispy and it just wasn't, because of all the moisture. I don't know if the cheeses are so fresh they didn't squeeze the water out or the cloth was clogged but watery pizza is a problem. My wife liked her lobster ravioli, she gave me a bite and it was ok but nothing that wowed me. My 100 layer lasagna had some serious issues being bland from all the pasta and little meat and sauce. The 2 dollops of cheese on top helped moisturize it but added zero flavor. I scooped the sauce on the side placed on each bite until it ran out. They gave us a dessert for our Anniversary and that was a nice ginger spice cake. If you are wanting to come here to grab the photos, it is gorgeous, grab a drink enjoy the scenery maybe try your luck with a pizza.
The two of us had an early dinner on a non-holiday Monday. We had reservations and were seated quickly. The old bank architecture is fabulous and it was difficult to not just sit and admire the view. Our server was knowledgeable, helpful, and very attentive. We were not impressed with the food. I had the Short Rib Rigatoni al Forno. The meat was tasty and tender. The pasta was cold and the sauce was just okay. This was the first Italian Style restaurant that I've ever been in that did not serve bread with either oil or butter. It is an expensive experience, only the atmosphere was worth the cost.
The portion of ravioli we received was much smaller than what others have posted. The chicken tasted boiled and had some smell I didn’t like. But the ambience was really nice and the staff who welcomed and served us were very friendly. It is a fun place to visit during Christmas but the food did not meet our expectations.
The over all dining experience was great. Presentation of the appetizer, dinner, and dessert was beautiful. However the entree I had (Lobster Ravioli) wasn't very flavorful and I feel it lacked proper seasoning for this dish. For the price and the beautiful establishment I had high expectations for the taste. I would give this place a second chance, just avoiding this dish for next time. Our Server was excellent . A mistake was made , and Trent went above and beyond to fix it even though he had nothing to do with the error that took place
Not much to brag about. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. It just was not the atmosphere that was expected. It is very bright and loud..it is the main restaurant to a hotel, which we didn't know at the time. Our waiter, Tray was awesome, along with the rest of the staff. The food was just ok..pretty under-seasoned. I had to ask for salt and pepper because it is not at the table. They serve room temp tap water. They did give us a complimentary anniversary dessert, which was pretty tasty. They do offer valet other than that parking you will have to find, which is expected, being it is downtown. All in all me and my husband were not impressed and a 1 & done for us.
We have gone to Tellers twice before and loved it. We had Christmas dinner there last year and it was a wonderful experience. We went for Thanksgiving this year and was somewhat disappointed. First of all it's decorated beautifully for the holidays. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Our wait staff was very professional and polite. It was the food and service time that put a sad spin on it. I ordered a drink when we were seated. It didn't come till 35 mins later, after we started eating our main course. The drink was yummy though. Would have been nice to have it to sip on while we waited. My husband did like the harvest soup and my Brussel sprouts salad was good. But they didn't bring the rolls. We had to ask for them. The rolls were as hard as rocks. My entree was good. The steak was very tender and cooked too perfection. My husband ordered his well and it came out bloody. He didn't eat it. The potatoes were great but the asparagus was cold. Looked forward to dessert but really disappointed. The pumpkin cheesecake while delicious was just a small sliver about 3 in x1 in. The pecan bar that came with it was so hard. Neither of us ate it. It had no flavor and tough. So disappointed this year.
The atmosphere is very open, a bit historic and interesting. The server was polite and informative. The food? Some was good. Some was quite bad. The chef tries to do too much. The steak was terrible. Charred with an exceedingly unusual flavoring. They ruined a perfectly good piece of meat. I mean, we're from Texas and love steak. Texas Roadhouse serves a good steak. This restaurant, however, has no idea how to simply cook a good steak. Too bad as its an interesting venue.
Visited the night before Valentines and paid for the prefix three course menu. Service was really terrible. The place was absolutely packed and people were running around, our waiter was stressed and grumpy. Our section had a ton of food mixups and people dropping food at the wrong tables or not dropping cutlery with mains. Our bread course didn't come with butter and the bread was over salted, I had to wait several mins to flag down a server to get a steak knife so I could eat my main (steak). For $350+ I definitely expected much better service. Interior space was beautiful and unique but would not recommend for a busy event. They were not prepared and it was not a positive dining experience.
I got the Lobster & Raviolo. It was ok. Not worth $34 for 3 pieces of Lobster and a few bits of lobster. I also did not like that there was a wedding going on at the same time. I love weddings, but it did not seem fair to the wedding party. Update: talked to a manager and was able to fix it. Manager did great.
We had come back some months ago and I had gotten the lobster Ravioli, I loved it so much! I came back tonight and couldn’t wait to order the lobster ravioli, so you can imagine the let down when the server brought my entree and it came out and I literally had 3 raviolis. It wasn’t A appetizer! The server was Great! The establishment is beautiful! So it was a disappointment.
Went there for a Birthday lunch and was extremely disappointed by the overall experience we went through. We were offered a table that was wobbly and the first server kept disappearing for extended periods. Finally asked for a different table and the second server was outstanding. The food was the major disappointment. Not a very good selection for an "Italian" restaurant. My son had to ask for another choice because the steak he got was tasteless, cold and tough. My daughter's burger was burnt (asked for medium) and all our food was cold. Manager made amends by offering the food as complementary but the damage was already done. The cheesecake dessert was really good though. Not going back again.
I am not one to write reviews, but my boyfriend and I went to Tellers to celebrate Valentine's Day, and it was beyond subpar. To start, we were not informed when we made our reservation that the menu would be different and specialized for Valentine's Day. We checked online, not even 30 minutes before we arrived, and it still showed their normal menu. When we were seated, we noticed that the menu did not have its price listed. Our server did not tell us how much it was going to cost, dancing around the topic instead of telling us directly. But when we arrived, they did make it very clear that if we chose to leave, we’d be met with a cancellation fee, not telling us how much said cancellation fee would be. My boyfriend and I do not drink, and upon learning about this, our server’s demeanor completely shifted. She was far more blunt and curt with us; it was clear she realized she wasn’t going to get as big a tip because we weren’t going to have drinks, and she treated us as such. Our server, while not directly rude, was far from the politeness we were expecting. I have had much better, polite, and vigilant servers at basic chain restaurants. She forgot to give us our bread with our salads, and when I asked her about it at the end, she wasn’t apologetic, instead bluntly saying she could throw it in a to-go box. We were also forgotten about when we were done with dessert. We sat for a good 20 minutes before she came to ask if we wanted the check. Next, the space was not comfortable in the slightest. We were less than a foot away from the couples sitting next to us and could barely hear each other over the sound of the conversations around us. There wasn’t any music playing, and everyone was trying to talk over each other to hear their own date. We spent almost the whole night in silence. The food was very mediocre for the price; my boyfriend’s duck was good, but my entree was small in comparison, and one of the ravioli was cold in the center. The dessert was even worse; while a few of the treats were good, my macaron was bad. It was overbaked, it wasn’t chewy, it was hard, and the shell was not crumbly. My boyfriend’s was very good, and it’s clear they were simply rushing out the food, worrying more about quantity instead of quality. For the price of the meal, the food quality was not there, the service was not expected, and the space was beyond uncomfortable. While very pretty, I will not be going to Tellers again, and I would not recommend it. If you want to go somewhere nice for a date night, there are many other nice restaurants in OKC that will have better service and better food. As well as the fact that you are not going to be put in a very sketchy situation where they will not tell you the price of the food and threaten you with a cancellation fee.
Went to Teller’s for the Valentine’s Day dinner, which I figured would be romantic. I was Horribly Horribly wrong. Upon arrival, it was like a cafeteria square tables set up next to each other in a long row with a foot between you and the person next to you on both sides, trying to squeeze in as many people as they could to rip them off there was no effort in the preparation or decoration. The tables didn’t even have table cloths, cheap laminated square tables with two tiny little silver salt, shakers, and a napkin folded into a heart a 3 inch bottle with the saddest little Horribly fake flower with the head less than the size of a dime. Lol This is a nice restaurant?!? Charging $328?!? First course was beef and beets second was a iceberg lettuce wedge third was either lobster or steak supposedly Wagyu I don’t think it was. The menu said a lobster tail when we received it Was actually only a HALF!!! of a lobster tail which for $328 you can’t get a whole lobster tail are we serious? Thats a dinner? half a tail?!? It was horribly cooked rubber and hard as hell and they didn’t even serve it with butter. My date didn’t even finish it. It was so disgusting. My supposedly Wagyu beef came out and it wasnt a steak it was 4 small beef cubes lol which when it’s four little cubes, it’s because it’s considered the more affordable cheaper meat and so they can cook it as fast as possible . and it had no flavor whatsoever. (Again $328?) I found myself trying to sop up the juices on the plate to give it some kind of flavor. The service was horrible. They maybe came up to your table 4 times & it was someone new each time. We couldn’t get water refills and couldn’t even get ice in your water because they just put a chilled bottle of water on your table which also had no ice it it which we looked around and no one could get ice so they wouldn’t have to return to fill your glass (again thats not fancy) but they forced you to tip $52 lol insane. It was like being in a cafeteria shoulder to shoulder a foot apart from the people on your left and right loud as hell no music, and just the super loud crowd noise couldn’t even have a conversation with my date we sat there, just waiting for it to be over would not return to save my life and will suggest to everyone to not be fooled by this restaurant. This was an incredible rip off for $328. Just trying to get people in and out as fast as they could with the cheapest most lackluster food and Environment.
This was my second visit and will be my last. The building and atmosphere are awesome, the hostesses were very pleasant. Then it was downhill. Took forever to get our drinks and appetizers ordered, I will say the meatball and breadstick were the highlight of my night since it was all I was able to eat. The pizza I had ordered was left off by the server. It happens, said he would take care of it. So I sat while the rest the table ate. Almost 30 minutes later when the server came by and still no pizza, I asked him to just cancel it. Since the rest the table was finished. Overall the ambiance is awesome. Food was ok, but overpriced. Service was extremely lackluster and slow. 2.5 hours at a table is unacceptable.
My husband and I live right upstairs from Tellers and have really tried to like it, but unfortunately it hasn’t been worth it. The building is beautiful, but the food has been consistently mediocre. We’ve gone for dinner and even tried breakfast to give it another chance, with the same result. The food doesn’t match the price point. It’s edible, but not memorable, and there are many nearby places offering better quality and flavor for less.
My wife and I went to Tellers for the Valentines special menu (~$150 per person, not including drinks). I would never return based on my experience. Not only was the food horrible, but we waited OVER 40 minutes for our first course. The servers delivered our main course to the wrong table then brought it to us eventually. Neither my wife or myself finished the food. Take in mind - I’ve been here for lunch on multiple occasions and had a great experience. This was terrible and I don’t know if I’ll ever return. I’ve had better meals and service at Outback. NOT ONLY WE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE. We talked with two other couples outside who said the same thing. This is unacceptable.
