Was kind of thrown off when I walked in about it being a Japanese restaurant but when "The Ninja Chef" came out to cook for us, all doubt's were gone. The food was really tasty he might have been a little heavy on the soy or teriyaki sauce with the veggies, but the fried rice and filet mignon was delicious. My friend had Hibachi chicken it was also really tasty. You won't leave here hungry.

Quick service, reasonably priced and delicious! Server was very friendly, and the location is great! Lots to do and see in the Plaza. Ordered the Plaza Roll (my favorite), Sky Ocean, Flaming Lip Roll and Crazy Cajun Roll.

Amazing food and great service. The sushi rice was cooked well. The clear soup was very good. Salmon sushi tasted fresh. The hibachi was cooked perfectly. The boba tea was good too. Thanks! We will be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Food & Hidden Gem in the Plaza District! Oshiki Japanese Steakhouse on 16th in the Plaza District is a must-try for anyone who loves fresh sushi and flavorful hibachi! I had the spicy white tuna roll, baby gecko roll, and the chicken hibachi lunch special, and every bite was incredible. The miso soup that came with the hibachi? It should be called "miso good" because it was that delicious! The sushi was fresh, perfectly rolled, and packed with flavor, while the hibachi chicken was cooked just right with amazing seasoning. This place deserves way more attention—if you haven’t been, you’re missing out! Do yourself a favor and stop by to support this great restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!

Definitely my new favorite!! Very friendly staff, but definitely could use some background noise. The food is amazing, we practically licked the plates clean! Same quality as high end places, for a drastically lower price, and much bigger portion sizes. 100% recommend and will definitely be coming back!!! (we ordered the hibachi steak, and nigiri dinner box)

Love that this place has opened up in the Plaza. Service is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered the yellowtail special, the dinner combination box and a couple of rolls. Everything was good. The dinner combination box is a good value for the amount of food that you get. The side salad with ginger dressing is just iceberg lettuce and shredded carrot. Dressing was good though. They could use bigger signage because it is hard to tell what is in that space if you are just passing by. They are still having their soft opening so I hope they do well.

We brought our two grandsons (ages 12 & 13) here for a hibachi lunch to celebrate their birthdays, and from their perspective, it was a fun and successful outing. They enjoyed the show, the food, and the overall experience—and that was the goal. Service was attentive, drinks were refilled promptly, and we were seated quickly with no wait, which was a plus. The appetizers were a mixed bag: edamame and takoyaki were good, calamari was a bit overcooked and greasy, but still decent in flavor. There was a noticeable delay between appetizers and the chef arriving at the grill, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. The hibachi presentation was entertaining for the kids, though as someone who’s been to many hibachi restaurants, it didn’t stand out compared to others I’ve experienced. All entrées were cooked as ordered and everyone was satisfied. One small disappointment was the lack of any birthday acknowledgment, and cleanliness could use some improvement (table items and restroom). Overall, this was a mixed experience, but our grandsons left happy, which mattered most. Personally, I likely wouldn’t return, but for a kids’ celebration, it did the job. Three stars feels fair.

Food was kind of disappointing honestly. The tempura veggies were unseasoned, flavorless, and not very crispy. California roll was weirdly bitter and the avocado was brown. We got both to share as a table of 3 and we didnt even finish either bc they werent that good. Our entrees were slightly better but also not great and still nobody finished theirs. Nothing was disgusting but it just wasnt good enough to justify eating all of it. Atmosphere was great but we didn't like all the weird AI art with fake japanese on it. Server was very nice.

Small place, food is not bad but not great. Prices and portions are decent but nothing on the menu really sets it apart from any regular sushi joint. Small menu as well.

It was filling. Good priced. Rice was a weird texture. Egg rolls were so hot the waitress cut them in half before serving. Service was so friendly though!

Me and a friend came here for her birthday dinner that she reserved 3 weeks in advance and also confirmed day of, only to have to wait 1.5hrs to be seated for it. The food and hibachi was good but it took our server another 30 minutes to bring our checks. To only spent another 30 minutes trying to figure out who ordered what after she had already went around the table asking who had what 3 times , the food was good but the birthday experience here was horrible

Stopped by here to eat with my daughter. They got my order wrong twice. The tables are nasty. Looks like they never cleaned cleaned under the extras on the table. The salt/pepper shakers any soy sauce bottles were completely nasty from not being cleaned. The bathroom was so so nasty. Shoes were sticking to the floor along with other nasty issues. I mean the health department needs to check this place out. I will never go back. Place need to be shut down till they understand what cleaning supplies are. Just completely NASTY

We came into the restaurant at 6:50 on a Friday night. It was dead inside at the front and at the hibachi bar. That should’ve been our first clue to leave. We sat at the hibachi grill for 30 minutes and then watched a family of five get seated at the same grill as us. And then waited another ten minutes for the waitress to take their order. At that point, we asked for our check. 40 minutes in and still getting ready to watch the family of five be served their soup and salad with no meal being cooked for us while three other hibachi grills were available. No thanks. Terrible customer service.
