Went here for Mother's Day(per Mom's request) and we decided to get the All American Feast. Overall the food was very good. The only thing I didn't care for was the cornbread.The ribs/chicken was very good.I also ordered bread pudding for dessert which wasn't very good IMO. Famous Jose was our server and he was so sweet with us! We just went in for a quick bite, got sat really quick for a Sunday evening. To be fair it was just 2 of us and the place hits every time. The ribs? Fall-off-the-bone perfect. Brisket? Smoky, tender, and full of flavor. Pulled pork? Juicy and just right. And don't get me started on the cornbread muffins-soft, sweet, and addicting. Sides are solid, service is fast, and the vibe is chill. If you want real BBQ, this is it.

One of the best BBQ places I had. Wait time is a bit longer than the usual but its because the outside dining area is not big enough. We had to wait about 30-45min. But considering the situation we are living in, that's is totally acceptable. Staff cleans the tables and chair completely before they allow someone else to sit. Food is well served and hot, proportions are big. We ordered the platter for two, you could easily feed 3-4 people with the amount of food they served. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Place is very cleaned and well organized. The only thing I would say is that since the main restaurant is closed and there is no signs. People was getting confused as to where to go to check in which caused confusion and people cutting the line. But since all this new normal, I understand business are trying to adapt and try to their best. So I don't think this would be enough for a star. After all this place is a great place to eat and spend a good quality time with friends or family.

If you're looking for big portions and great BBQ, then look no further. Famous Dave's never disappoints, no matter what location you're in. The service was great, and the food came out very fast. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good BBQ. Don't forget the cornbread when you go.

It’s been a while since the last I ate at Famous Dave’s. Since it was nearby, my family and I stopped in for a bite. SO GLAD WE DID! This place is far better than I remembered!! We were greeted and seated quickly with a smile. A gentleman named Lino welcomed us at the table and asked a few questions, and make some spot on recommendations! Our server Nate was right behind him, took our order and verified the details. Our drinks were served quickly and our food came shortly afterwards. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! I don’t know what they did, but they leveled up their food like no other!!! The ribs tasted like I was eating bbq in Texas, the pulled pork melted in the mouth bursting with flavor, and the corn bread was buttery delicious! The burnt ends appetizer was so good it could be mistaken for an entree! Nate the Great kept our drinks constantly filled and checked on us regularly. I'm from Saint Louis and was surprised to see STL style ribs on the menu and rib tips. I had to try them and they were good! Very fork tender. My inner T-Rex was satisfied! Lol Took me back home to Saint Louis. The potato salad and baked beans were really good along with all of the BBQ sauces offered. Price wise they are on par with other BBQ places, however the portions are very generous. I was able to feed 4 times off my order. Drinks were good and strong. This is definitely a place I'll come back to on my visits to California.

WE had a bad experience literally as our party of 25 driving to a different restaurant in Corona refused our reservation after they had told us to confirm call 1 hr prior to our reservation time! ... did a 360 turn n called Dave's Bbq as our party group was driving from Whittier, Riverside,Highland & La Puente, Last min spoke to Dave's manager n OMG she did her best in squeezing us in.. not to say our server GABRIEL, HE WAS THE BEST. The Rancho Cucamonga Famous Dave's customer service is great. They immediately engage in conversion and get you seated in a timely manner. They also serve cornbread while you wait for order and anticipate when you are ready to order or when you need a refill. Food is good and has a consistent quality. I had the rib tips mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. I wasn't a fan of the corn or jalapeños in the mac n cheese

Awesome BBQ & Service! First time at this location of Famous Dave's. The wait time was not too bad for a good BBQ place, around 20-25 minutes. We were seated just after two large parties, so we knew there would be a bit of a wait for food, but our server Jose took great care of us while we waited. We had the BBQ chips, so warm, fresh, crunchy, and delicious. We also tried the cornbread. Now this was a nice, sweet treat, buttery and soft as well. For our main, we had the Loaded Baked Potato with Pork. Now this was a filling meal. The potato tasted like a high-end steakhouse, cooked to perfection. This was topped with the tender and very flavorful pork and crispy onions. The cheese, sour cream, butter, and BBQ sauce were served on the side. I wanted to get the coleslaw as well; this was crunchy, sweet, and so delicious! With my meal, I also tried the Black Cherry Lemon Soda. This gave my taste buds quite a surprise, like drinking a sparkling soda made of Nerds candies, yum! The atmosphere was a little on the loud side, but what you would expect from a large restaurant. Loved all the funny signs on the walls. As for service, this was a great experience, from the greeting from the hostess to our server Jose (who was awesome, by the way). Definitely made the experience great.

My apologies.... this review is actually for BK subs in Redlands it got mixed up with famous Dave's bbq. I purchased a couple of turkey subs here for the first time. I didn't realize they were going to be so big! Good price friendly employees and clean tables perfect timing didn't have to wait.... A southern girl's heart ❤️ I was super excited to see a Famous Dave's in the area. I'm a Southern girl, and it's hard to find good southern food in CA. Many say it's southern, but I'll have to debunk that notion. However, here at Famous Dave's, you're sure to get some of the best sweet tea, CORN BREAD, and bbq. As you can see, I came for the CORN BREAD, but all the food is great. To top that, they greeted our family from the front desk with great workmanship and joy, and we have the best service with our waitress, Famous Liz! She's the one that put the corn bread on the table, lol. She's a sweetheart and works fast while remaing humble. I'm always thankful to find good food and service.

The food was as good as to be expected. Service was great also. But the hidden gem at this location is the bar area. Although small, it is located in the same room as the dining tables. That means the servers don't have to go far to get you another drink! And, if you choose to sit at the bar, you'll have 3 big TV's right in front of you.

Food was delicious with healthy portions. We will be back again soon. Only downside not really any specials. So prices were a bit high for BBQ.

What can you say about Famous Daves. As usual, great barbecue when your in the mood with spectacular service. AC was off and I couldn’t tell if they were purposely trying not to run it to do their part. The three dollar rum and coke special hit the spot.

Wonderful find! Excellent service, really good food. Manhandler sandwich was great, the chopped chicken salad great as well. Mini corn dogs were superb, and did not get a chance to try the ribs as soo many other options jumped out. My girlfriend and I will definitely return soon for the ribs, oh and great prices for everything we ate.

If you're craving BBQ and Lucille's is busy this place is definitely another choice... only thing I can pushback on is the price at this spot is a little more costly. Food does taate great and the quality of food and quantity of food is also great. Definitely recommend a family feast!

Famous Dave's is bit of an enigma. The food is good. The staff is friendly. And the prices are pretty reasonable. Yet within the largest county in the United States, with over 10 million people, L.A. County has only one Famous Dave's location. San Bernadino has 3, and Orange has 1. I really can't explain why this is, but I'm really happy there is one not too far from me. I used to come to this location a lot when I worked nearby. I came here for lunch and dinner. I came here with family and friends. And I never had a bad meal or a bad time here Unfortunately, now that I work closer to Downtown L.A., I really haven't been to Famous Dave's in quite awhile. Until today. For lunch, I had the ribs and brisket with 2 sides and my meal tasted even better than I remember. The ribs were moist and tender, with tons of flavor. The brisket was just as good but juicier. My sides of mashed potatoes and coleslaw held their own. I absolutely loved, loved my meal, and I hope time and circumstances brings me here again. Check this place out.

They have 3 BBQ sauces devil's spit, sweet & zesty, and rich & sassy. The sassy tasted the best for me. The Brisket, hot link sausage, Wilbur beans, and the cornbread were all great. Plenty of options and combos to choose from. Service was quick. We had a group of 5 and we all met up at 5pm for dinner and hit the 6:30pm movie across the street at Ontario Mills. The place was nice, sort of reminded me of the inside of a barn. I ordered ribs, chicken, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. My Ribs were precooked and I kepted finding small pieces of hair on it(the clear kind that float around in the air or the ones that get in your eye) My chicken was dry and not worth eating. The macaroni had no flavor as if it were watered down. My mashed potatoes were so overly garlicky I couldn't even enjoy them. So I traded them in for rice which looked and tasted like Turkey stuffing. I'm sorry but my boyfriend and I didn't like any of the food. We thought for the price it would have been better quality. Customer service was great though, the wait was short and the Manager was accommodating and switched out my ribs for freshly hot cooked ones. I spent $45 😱. I asked my Bf to rate the food (1-10) 1 being the worst 10 being the best. He said, "5" I rate it a "3" We won't be going back to this place...

Food was great (about an hours wait) I had the 3 meat combo.. service was terrible, we were say down in the sunlight and asked if we can move to another table that was empty in the shade. Our server had to go ask her manager if we can move tables. Well she came back and said her manager said NO we couldn't move. We asked to speak to the manager and when our server came back we were told that the manager wouldn't come.out to speak to us about moving tables. Well abou615 min into our dinner she comes blackout and says that a table has just come available. Okay when there was 2 other tables that had been empty for about 30min already. Well service after that went down hill. Mind you were eating Famous Dave's, and we had to ask for extra napkins and water. The table in front of us our server took care if them but when she left she never to a glance or asked us if we needed anything. So before we left I asked her, did I make u mad or what did we do to get sucj6bad s ere service. She replied that she didn't want to bother us by asking if we needed anything. 😅😂🤣🤣. Okay sure!! Wow. This was my first and last time at our bbq place!! Way to leave a lasting impression on my first visit!!! Thanks Dave!!!

I hate to give this place two stars but I like to be truthful. The waiter & service was good so that makes up for why I put 2 stars but the food….. SUCKS! I should have known the food was going to be a mess when the waiter came out 5 minutes later with the food I ordered the two meat combo: brisket & tri tip. 2 sides: Mac & cheese (a joke) and corn on the cob (bigger joke) the brisket was dry and not tender whatsoever with no flavor , the tri tip was the same. Felt like I was eating well done steak, literally shaking the table using a knife to eat the meats. The 3 diff flavors of bbq sauce provided at your table made up for the flavors of the old dried up meats. The corn bread & my lemon water was probably the only decent thing there. Never seen Mac & cheese have corn in it… a mess. They address the corn on the cob “sweet” on their menu but the corn taste like it was just boiled in water to make it hot & served. No butter, not sweetness, no nothing! I didn’t even eat all the food. Waiter asked if I wanted a to go box. No thx! Throw the food in the trash. THEN have the nerve to label something Texas on the menu, I lived in Houston; Texas would be appalled ! lol

First time eating here. The service was horrible. We drove an hour to eat here. We waited an hour to be seated and they gave us a gable directly in the sun. When we complained, it seemed like it bothered them and they didn’t want to move us. They finally allowed us to move to another table and we had to move our own trays and drinks to our new table. After complaining about our first table being in the sun, it seems like the waitresses didn’t come by as much to offer if we needed anything else.

This place was horrible! We ordered to go and got 3 chicken tenders with fries. We got no fries and got Mac n cheese instead. The Mac n cheese had corn in it and was so bad. Employees were annoyed and rude do not come here!!!

Went there today for lunch, ordered St Louis rib and roasted chicken, Beef brisket, tbh the brisket taste like ham or some kind of restructured meat, it was flavorful but dosent taste like beef or brisket that we normally have in other restaurants also it was room temperature not hot, it was really like a ham texture. But the decoration is awesome inside. It’s a bit pricey for the food portion.

Some of the worse BBQ I've had . It started bad with the drink I bought a rum punch they brought the drink with spoiled lemon on the rim . We got the feast for two the potato wedges we're old and the cornbread. Brisket it was barely warm and the ribs were ice Cold they replaced them with a other rack ribs these were even worse super dry the texture of the meat felt like they just threw it in the microwave to warm it up then threw sauce on it. Long story short I don't recommend this place And my dog got ribs for dinner he didn't mind the hard dry meat .

We ordered the St. Louis Ribs with Roasted Chicken combo and the beef brisket. The ribs and chicken are fine. Nothing special about. However, the brisket does no taste like brisket at all. It is like ham. The texture is different from the typical brisket you know. I wouldn't recommend the brisket. We also got the $3 drink special, it is mojito on the day we visited. It was good. The sides we got are the famous fires, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and broccoli. They are fine, just the typical fries you get at other places.

I’m genuinely shocked by the recent good reviews because my experience was awful. I’ve never been to Dave’s before and wasn’t sure if it was a sit-down or fast casual restaurant. We walked in on a weekend to a completely empty restaurant, which should have been our first warning. The host stood there staring at us instead of greeting us, and we had to ask him whether we were dining in or ordering. I had a toddler with me and asked for a high chair. He acknowledged it, walked away, and never returned. After waiting several minutes, I had to get it myself. It took an unreasonable amount of time for the waiter to even acknowledge us, so we ordered immediately because it was obvious this was going to be a long wait. The restaurant was empty, yet service was painfully slow. We were brought cornbread but only given two pieces. Nothing for the baby. When I asked for a slice for my toddler, the waiter said yes and never came back with it. Our food finally arrived nearly 50 minutes later. No check-ins. No updates. No apologies. We seriously considered leaving multiple times but stayed only because we didn’t want to put our toddler through another long wait somewhere else. By the time the food arrived, we were already frustrated and over it. As we finally started eating and I was feeding my toddler, a table of four was seated behind us. Almost immediately, they began experiencing the same lack of service. After what felt like 15 minutes, I overheard them complaining. I caught their attention and told them we had already been waiting nearly an hour for our food. They sat there discussing where to eat next and eventually left. I’m not even sure the waiter realized his table walked out, and I can’t really call it walking out since they were never greeted, served, or even given drinks. The food itself was fine at best, but it was impossible to enjoy after such a long and frustrating wait. The waiter never checked on us once, yet the moment we asked for the check, he suddenly appeared in a hurry. The bill was full price with zero acknowledgment of the wait or terrible service. No items removed. No attempt to make things right. I was not looking for a free meal, but some accountability would have been the bare minimum. The waiter had no issue running around, socializing with coworkers, and checking on other tables while completely ignoring ours. The restaurant was dead, yet they somehow made it feel chaotic and disorganized. It was clear they prioritized to-go orders over dine-in guests. If that is how they operate, they are doing it wrong. I will not be returning and will absolutely be warning others. Save yourself the time and frustration and do not eat here.

My wife and I came here to eat and unfortunately we stood and waited and we stood and waited some more, all awhile t there's no one in line in front of us (12 noon) after standing there for a while ,I see a bell on the counter and figured "oh" this must be why no one has come. So I rang the bell only to have the bar person who was there all along say someone will be with you in a moment, something that could been said to us long before ringing the bell??? When someone did come I decided I didn't want to eat here do to the negative energy. I asked the person who came for the manager and she poudly told me that she was the manager. No courtesy, no "oh" I'm sorry for the wait, just a SO WHAT attitude. I've lived in this area for 25 years and have come here many times but with this attitude and energy I'll never return. So my wife and simply drove 2 miles down to Dickeys and satisfied our barbecue cravings. As my hard earned cash is good everywhere.

We waited over 45 minutes for our food even though the restaurant was almost empty. Takeout orders were clearly prioritized over ours. We arrived at 4:50 pm because we had to be at church by 6:15 pm, and we ended up wasting a lot of time just waiting. The most frustrating part was being told over and over again that our order would be ready “soon.” We were told this at least four times, including by the manager, but the food kept taking longer. That said, the food was amazing once it finally arrived. Unfortunately, the service and the long wait really hurt the overall experience. It was a bittersweet visit.

Ok I don't know what happened with this restaurant , to begin with it was almost empty.not potatoes chips to munch on . But this is not the worst, the restaurant itself was dirty and the booth where we went to sit was so dirty that they moved us to another one . We ordered an appetizer of brisket it was cold and with no flavor. the feast our main course was served without utensils to grab the food when we ask for utensils they bring us a pair or disposable thongs to serve our food the were dirty with crusted dried food discusting!!!. we left and been sick of our stomach we won't get back to this location on foothill across from Ontario Mills Mall I don't recommend at all.
