Highly recommend this place if you get the plates that are made when you order it like the Chicken Fried Rice, Tofu Fried Rice or anything else that the staff makes specifically makes for you when you order it and not the items on the steam table for the combo plates. If you get the cook/made to order items from the menu you'll probably find the food great, but if you choose the steam table selections you will probably end up having a negative opinion of this restaurant. From reading the other reviews on this place, the main issue with the poor reviews appears to stem from people who buy their food from the steam table for the combo plates and the stale or low quality they perceive it to be. I will say that the food on the steam table you pick and choose does have a certain look that sometimes may not be appealing to the eye or perhaps taste as well, but really it comes down to this restaurant not having as much people traffic as is needed to keep the steam table items moving along and needing to be replenished which I suspect is from the poor reviews. My recommendation for anyone wanting to try the best this restaurant has to offer is to ask for their menu, pick an item or two from it and get ready to taste the high quality diffference this little restaurant can produce.
Total: 25/25 - For this review utilizing a five category system which is what I choose to rate all reviews. Food: 5/5 - Portions, flavor, and price are all in eye opening. Bang for my bucks portion, having to push the food down when using the to go Styrofoam container in order to close. Flavors of the sweet tasting Orange and Popcorn Chicken make my sweet tooth cravings complete. Also, enjoying a side of Spicy Pork to balance my palate for controlled tasting. Service: 5/5 - During all my visits and before writing this review, I carefully watched and mentally adding good or bad patterns. To my surprise and wonder all persons which I have encountered are service oriented. Attentive to what I choose for a meal. Offering not only typical tastes of your choices, but offering a possible combination of something new to your tastes buds. Asking not your mindless open ended question such as, "How is everything?" Instead asking, "how's your day today? or how did you like the freshly made pork egg roll?" Personalising my tailored visit. Atmosphere: 5/5 - Although, this place of delightful flavor might seem normal to most. Possibly due to most internal comparisons of large food chains. Family home is what I feel, hear, and see. Plants in pottery, the sounds of pots being banged around while washing and organized. Cultural decor that reminds how beautiful and diverse we all are as human race. Overall feeling comfortable. Quality: 5/5 - During a visit, personally witness the quality of care for veggies preparations. Fresh broccoli, green beans being carefully chopped for the next batch of wok and heat infusion. Friendly: 5/5 - Not at all difficult to rate this service category. Smiles and laughter allowing my day to just become better. Always welcoming your return visit. DONT BE DECEIVED BY THE APPEARANCE FROM THE OUTSIDE. As a chinese, this is probably one of the most legit chinese fast food - more legit than Panda Express. And the owners here speak good English with great attitude. I came here from a “too good to go” order and it was made fresh. Not even leftover. It’s not like those usual mom and pop Chinese food shops with crumby attitude and fake chinese food faker than Panda Express (already pretty fake). Their rice is actually moist and the sauce they use for the chicken you can really taste the chinese spices. I’m cutting but I finished the whole box. That was a big portion and I couldn’t even help myself.
I'll tell you about my experience, but you need to go enjoy your own experience at the FAST WOK 🍜🥢🥠 I've been trying to get to FAST WOK 🍜 for quite a while, and I finally had the opportunity the last couple of days. I like it because it's a mom-and-pop business family-owned, which I'm always glad to support. And when it comes to the food, it taste great, atmosphere is warm and welcoming as soon as you walk through the door 🚪 service is professional an attentive to your needs, plus the food quantity is large and plentiful. I will be a returning customer every time I'm in the area. I give it a five-🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟all around.
Conveniently located right off the 60 FWY off Vineyard exit, corner of Vineyard Ave. and E. Walnut St. next to Domino's and Starbucks. Plenty of parking. We were driving by and this place came up as we searched 'Fast Chinese' so we stopped to try it. We were immediately greeted and welcomed. The owners are amazing! Helen & Boon took their time to get to know us as first-time customers. Although they had limited options ready for selection, we couldn't make up our minds and were given a sample which helped us choose. They will prepare any other menu items on the spot if what you want is not ready and displayed. We tried their 'Popcorn Chicken, Orange Chicken, and Teriyaki Chicken with pickled vegetables', 'Fried Rice and Chowmein', and an iced 'Thai Tea' to drink. Their 'Spicy Pork' (Chile Verde) tastes amazing over white rice. Everything was yummy, with a 'home-cooked' feeling and not necessarily the common Chinese fast food taste. You can also find 'Kimchi' here. They have a 'special dish' featured on Fridays from other cuisine types such as Cambodian, Thai, etc. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. The restaurant is clean with enough tables to sit and enjoy your meal. Overall, we had a positive experience at this family-owned and operated spot and will definitely return.
Went in for standard Chinese food and left with a haul of some unique and delicious new dishes. The popcorn chicken was probably the winner; great texture and beautiful flavor that combines citrus, sweet, and spices in a new way. The other favorite is the picked veggies. So good! Everything was delicious though. The bbq chicken, spicy pork, teriyaki chicken were all excellent. The staff are friendly and happy to be making great food and it shows. If you're in the area, stop and eat here!
Whenever I’m in the area visiting one of my Jiffy Lube stores, I always make sure to stop by Fast Wok. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The owner is such a sweet woman, and you can tell she works hard to serve every customer with kindness. Portions are generous, service is quick, and the quality never disappoints. It’s easily my go-to spot for Chinese food, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.
Helen is a true delight made me feel like at home! They do not have vegan options on the menu but they literally customized my food. They made a vegetable stir fry, on the spot with the most delicious sauce, and fried tofu, really fast, which was the best I've had in awhile. I was at the Tesla supercharger and got hungry discovered this little gem I will definitely come again when I'm in this area.
If you leave the wife at home with the kids all day so you can go golf with your buddies, then you better bring home some bomb dinner. My family loved it. Get the Wor Wonton. I got two combo Bs and one combo almost did not survive the 3 min ride home. I walked in a first time customer and walked out a lifetime customer. Update: had to post new pictures No filter. Just look at those green beans! Wor wonton is a must on a cold day like today.

This place always has great customer service. I have been a regular now for about 5 months. I like that I could call and place a phone order after long work hours. So glad I could speak to a live person, so kudos. Second, the food is flavorful and always hits the spot. I have tried the beef sticks, pork noodles, fried rice, pickled cabbage, chicken. Always huge portions. I love going to this place, the staff is always so welcoming.
I had Fast Wok cater a work Lunar New Year lunch and they did not disappoint! Everything arrived on time and hot. The food was delicious and everyone went for seconds and thirds. It was a total success! Will definitely be catering with them again!

It was my wife's and my first time here, the staff were super friendly and gave us a small sample of some of the dishes that they made. This was a first as no other place has done that for me. Everything was delicious. We ended up getting the jalapeño chicken and popcorn chicken. The fried rice and chow mein were really good too. Definitely will be a lifetime customer.

This place is great! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. The new owners and Frank are all very kind. They make the food just as good as I remember. The food is great I would recommend Fast Wok to everyone who loves good Chinese that’ll fill you up.

Unfamiliar with the location, popped in & was greeted by a friendly lady, can't remember her name. She was very friendly & we had a full on short conversation about other Chinese food places . I originally started my order with 4 combo A's, then changed my order to 3 combo B's to try more things, then I was persuaded into trying another item. In the end I ended up with 3 combo B's(2item w/ chow mein) & 1 combo A(1item w/ fried rice). -Chow mein / mushroom chicken / orange chicken -chow mein / spicy pork / spicy teriyaki chicken -chow mein / teriyaki chicken / beef broccoli -fried rice / orange chicken Chow mein was tasty different than most places I've been. Teriyaki, orange, & beef was good . I'm usually not a fan of fried rice but this one was also tasty & not like other places I've been. Spicy teriyaki was definitely different & good & was persuaded to try. Now the spicy pork wasn't something I've had before & was thrilled to be persuaded to try it. My only down side was it had a lot of hard pieces that were hard to chew. (Could've been out too long or over cooked) But I'd definitely give it another try cause the spicy options were great flavors. Wish I had gotten some photos of the food sorry 😞 Now I rated the food lower because I haven't finished trying everything on the menu yet lol 😆

Food is dried out. I ordered beef and broccoli and chow mein I took two bites of chow mein one bite of the beef and broccoli spit out the beef and threw the whole plate away a waste of $12 don't waste your time nor money Panda Express is way better for the buck and that's sad, I don't even really like Panda Express
