Enjoy breakfast huge portion. Love the vibes and the service
We visited this place on an impulse and we definitely made the right choice! We enjoyed everything about this place, from the retro vibe to the huge drinks that our waitress did an amazing job keeping full at all times. We came in close to closing time but we never felt rushed at all. My husband had a buffalo chicken salad with a blueberry muffin and I had an omelet with their homemade toast. My husband loved the salad, noting the large amount of chicken on it, the homemade Bleu cheese dressing, and noted that the blueberry muffin was nothing short of amazing. My omelet was cooked to perfection, with perfect ratio of eggs to filling. The hash browns are made with super thinly cut potatoes, almost julienned. They are fabulous. I wish we didn't live so far away, we would go there all the time.
Place is always busy, and they have an army of workers who get the job done!! Service was fast and courteous. The food is excellent. All thumbs up here. 5vstars all the way!!
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. My family loves to travel and getting Saturday breakfasts out and as a result... we have been to a lot of breakfast diners so its meaningful when I say: Iron Skillet is the best breakfast diner in the country. Their menu has everything and at reasonable prices. The staff is 10/10. The best part of Iron Skillet is quantity that doesn't sacrifice quality. One can order any variety imaginable of breakfast platters. It will come with more than a person should eat and all of it will be hot and delicious. On a recent visit our party had around 15 people. We were seated within 5 minutes. Had waters served 2 minutes after that. When we ordered- we all ordered unique items and most of us with some customizations. Our food came within 15 minutes. There was not a single error made and that's with a menu that has 100's of options with dozens of customizations off each of those. Our waitress had the menu memorized. Our waitress who's been there for years was polite, prompt, and a magician with order taking. Iron skillet is not a Michelin rated restaurant, no one item on their menu would be considered complex but if you want the basic breakfast items served at top quality, fast, with great service, for a good price- I haven't found a diner that tops Iron Skillet!
Absolutely delicious and you can tell all the ingredients are FRESH. An old fashioned diner that takes you back in the time instantly with great, humble cooking. Will be back. Also of note I left my purse and the staff flagged me down in the parking lot. Great service, good people.
Food was super good! Big portions! So be ready you might wanna share a plate. We were able to sit down immediately. It appeared that the odors were there, and they were super friendly, very hospitable and very engaged in their business . Our waitress was super friendly fast and Got our order 100% . We will definitely come here again before we attend Voz church on Sunday.
First time we had come here. We loved it! As soon as we walked in we were approached and greeted "good morning " with a smile and sat us. Our server came right over and asked what we wanted to drink. The cokes were ginormous. She took our order, food was served quickly. Large portions and flavor was great! We are planning on going back.

Drinks were refilled promptly, and the overall dining area was spotless. The atmosphere was cheerful and inviting, making the experience even more enjoyable. Every detail contributed to a visit worth repeating often.
This restaurant was very pleasant and welcoming. When my daughter and I arrived, we were greeted kindly by three different staff members. It was very nice. We were served quickly, and had delicious food. My daughter had a grilled chicken sandwich which came with bacon and tomato, and I had a senior menu item which was two boneless pork chops with two scrambled eggs, toast, and fruit. Her sandwich came with a side order and she got a nice salad. It was large! I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. Please visit it!
I tried The Iron Skillet for the first time today. Yummy Everything, Great service and fun atmosphere. I'm so glad we skipped Flos to come her instead. Wonderful homemade bread, pancakes that reminds me of childhood, steak cooked to perfection, large size drinks, great picante salsa and totally our new favorite spot.
Got a great breakfast, staff was very friendly. Food came out quick and was delicious. Portions were huge and very affordable. The breakfast skillet could easily be split by 2 people, coming from someone who likes to eat a lot.
Man what is there not to like about this place? Plenty of parking and a ton of seating. The service was amazing, so friendly and prompt. The portions were huge and neither my wife or I could finish our breakfast. Prices for really good too. Came here for breakfast before I drop my wife off at the Ontario airport and it will definitely be a go to for us in the future, really happy we discovered this wonderful spot.
Got to love the iron skillet. Portions are enough to share, prices are very reasonable and the staff is always friendly and on top of everything. I enjoy the breakfast and the lunch . Country fries steak I got to say is my favorite meal. The meatloaf omelette is really good and different. Steak and eggs as well was very delicious! I recommend this if you are on Euclid I. Ontario or Upland area .
Visiting the area I found this place. Great service, great people working here. The food it’s good & the deserts are huge & delicious. Reasonable prices too. If you love breakfast like I do, this is a great option.
Quality Quantity and Service! This is what this place brings to the table! The food is delicious and quantity that they bring you is highly worth the price! Pancakes are fluffy and the Country Fried Steak was crispy and tasty! You cant go wrong dropping by at this place if you ever find yourself by old town Ontario. Located a street (H Street) above Rite Aid Plaza. The restaurant only has a few parking spots in the back but plenty of street parking.

This place was really good and they serve some nice size plates! I'd definitely share a plate if you're not that hungry. Customer service was excellent. The restroom had a prayer box which I though was so sweet, however, it didn't have any sticky notes or pen to write to put one in.
We came here for brunch and enjoyed it. The food was very good. The prices are moderate and considering the large portions well worth it. No complaints about the service either. I got the salmon Caesar salad and the fish was perfectly cooked, moist and not overdone. I also got a root beer freeze which was in a giant glass and thick enough to eat with a spoon. The Iron Skillet is a solid choice if you're looking for traditional diner style food and want to go home satisfied.

Nice enough people but the food, actual service, and atmosphere were disappointing during my last visit. I’ve gone here a handful of times thru the years and I actually recommended this place today for a breakfast meeting. I was surprised to have the experience I did to be honest. Service - feels rushed but you’re also waiting around for staff to come check on you, offer refills, etc Food - found 2 eggshell pieces in my over-hard eggs. They forgot my “home fries” and by the time they were brought, I was mostly done with my food. I brought them and they had ZERO flavor. Literally had to doctor them up to enjoy. Price - 2 meals, 1 side, 3 drinks came to around $50. I know everything is pricey but if I’m going to pay $50 for breakfast, I’d rather go somewhere I know I will enjoy my food. Atmosphere- as mentioned, staff move fast here and that makes sense because they can get crowded. But to feel rushed and then received subpar service sucks. Lastly, there’s a machine they were using— I honestly don’t know what it is for — maybe construction? Maybe shake machine? But it was so loud, i couldn’t even hear myself think.
This dinner hasn't change since 1991 but the prices surely have been updated. This is American food with a breakfast all day. Full menu with breakfast, lunch and dinner and closes at 2:30pm. I live near by for 20 years and wanted to try it for a while. Prices are t g e same with new restaurants around the neighborhood. You expect to spend $40 to $45 for 2 people. I had a really disappointing experience at this brunch place. The food tasted terrible — everything felt frozen, the potatoes were extremely oily like they were cooked in reused oil, and the chicken had an unpleasant smell. Nothing tasted fresh. On top of that, the floor was wet from mopping and there were no signs to warn customers. My child slipped, fell, and started crying. It was really upsetting and could have been avoided with proper safety precautions. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Based on what we went through, I honestly don’t understand how the place has so many positive reviews. Please save your money — this place is definitely not worth it.
