Food is delicious, bartender is very nice, definitely give them a go! The cheese plate, nachos with steak, and stuffed Anaheim chilis are fantastic! Enjoy!

Where do I start?? This place is AMAZING! The food was great. My wife had the French Dip with clam chowder as a side and I had a meatball sandwich, also with a side of chowder. The Chowder was sooooo good. I would literally go here every day just for the chowder. The service is great. Very friendly and attentive and speedy. The atmosphere could not be better. This place was welcoming and upbeat. The entire restaurant looked very clean. All you need to know is.... GO HERE! You won't regret it.

Great vibe! Went for a lunch/dinner here with my fianceé after a haircut. The service was a little slow as they only had 2 servers but the place was packed so it was understandable. One thing I thought was hard for new people was that they didn't have a drink menu. Other than that the food was really good. Surprisingly good! Will definitely come here again.

My friend had the poke bowl appetizer and I had the small chicken Caesar salad. Both were high quality, super delicious. He had scotch and soda. I had a Corona beer with lime wedge. We sat outside for a quiet conversation. Service was very good.

The other bars nearby are geared towards a younger "hey I just turned 21" crowd where you walk in and it's like hanging out with a bunch of rowdy teenagers and usually someone ends up getting in a fight. If that's for you, then check out those other places. JD Allisons is different, though. This is geared for people who have years of experience in the bar scene. It can sometimes be loud and a bit rowdy, but for the most part, it's respectful bar banter. You meet all walks of life here. Also, their kitchen menu is surprisingly good. It's restaurant quality food. I must say I enjoy the ribeye steak along with their appetizers. Their beer selection is vast, along with drafts, bottles, and cocktails. Also, they have live music quite often. Stop by and let the good times roll

We invited a friend to come and hang out with us for Brunch, We were greeted by Mary and Malina they made us feel very welcomed here ! They had plenty of TV’s to watch your favorite team play !! Our food was very good and the girls were very attentive to us. We had a small mix up with our food and the girls handled it very professionally. I would like to thank both Mary and Malina for making our experience here a great time !! We will definitely be back !!

I met a couple friends for some food, drinks, and enjoy the band. Service was good and always with a smile, we even started sharing jokes and laughter. The food was great. The waffle fries are so good. They have a complete bar so you can order almost anything to drink. Fun evening out.

Good atmosphere. Service is fine on slow days but today it's slow. There's only 1 person taking orders, making drinks, serving food and needless to say she is overwhelmed. Would've rated higher if better service.

First time here and had a lot of fun. Took awhile to get our orders taken and brought out. Parking was easy, was here on a Sunday, fun atmosphere, good food and full bar, would return and recommend.

No biggie, I sat and waited for it to be bussed so I could order. And waited, and waited. After about 15 minutes of waiting and watching 2 separate parties that had just entered get service, I left. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time it's happened. I usually would go in during my laundry. Almost my entire wash load was spent waiting for someone to come say hi. Seriously, though, great food, and decent pricing.

They have Really good food. The Ahi is Great. Service is just plain awful! Short staffed. Had to clear the table myself and go inside to order drinks.Took 30 minutes until order taken. Waiter was friendly but drunk. (Viewed taking shots at adjoining table.🙄) Been here several times and this is the norm. Management just doesn't seem to care. So unfortunate.

I took a while for us to get our food I watch the Kitchen staff look to the waitress several times before ringing the bell again. Our food was good. I was surprised it was still warm. I had the Philly cheesesteak and my daughter had a wet chicken burrito. We could not finish as we had to leave and we had already been there for over an hour. we asked for boxes which came quickly but we waited almost 10 minutes for our check before I finally went to the bar and asked for it. Then while waiting at the bar the waitress walked passed me and tried to return my card and receipt back to to the table. Not sure If I would go back again but i wouldn't minding or from there.

The bre platter was good, service at this place has been terrible since COVID. The bartender was doing triple duty serving a full bar, waiting and bussing tables. This is the third time having this issue over the past year or so. I almost went and got our food as you could see it sitting on the counter waiting and getting cold for waitress/bartender to picked it up and deliver it to the table. Not good. I doubt we will be back.

Visited on a Friday night. Only two servers for a weekend crowd. Disruptive F bomb patron beside us. Both ruined the experience at a place visited over a dozen times in the past. Owners / managers shouldn't have only two scheduled for a busy night. Waiter comped the drinks, he seemed to get it on both accounts.

Ordered brie and fruit platter which had moldy bread, Chicken nachos which were bare and skimpy. Best thing was garlic cheesy bread, so I will most likely not be returning.

How disappointing!!! I tried opening the front door which was locked but people we seated outside. I walked to see no employees or a hostess stand with no one to great me. I moved towards the back were the food was being prepared and was passes by waitresses. And then proceed to watch 2 waitresses take shots! Finally, flagged someone down, asked for an outside seat and proceeded to wait for someone standing next to a dirty table with no server in sight, so we left.

The bar tender couldn't hear me. The food sat for a bit before getting it. Then it was just a disappointment. The chicken was dry, the bacon was burned, but the fries were okay. Just drink here, and only drink eat, don't come hungry. Just saying.

If I can rate the service in a native way I would. The server was rude! Frist she lies about not having Certain beer. But yet there right in front of are faces. Then say takes are orders that take 45 minutes. I look to see what's taking long. My food was sitting on the counter getting cold. And the order was wrong. And where was she behind the bar having a good time! This place need to hire Professional people. Not these rude people. Never going back thanks to the service.

My wife and I came in a few weeks ago. We had awful experience in this place. The food was horrid. We ordered fish tacos and the fish was barely cooked. It was absolutely raw. We told the owner and she was basically in one ear and out the other. She didn't care to know anything we had to say. The owner seems disconnected from running this place. Maybe she should have a different attitude. I would avoid this place. The service and the food was the worst I have ever experienced.

Stopped in for my lunch break. It took ten minutes to get a drink order. Another ten minutes for a food order. Another twenty minutes to get chips and salsa that were cold and left my mouth coated in grease. Sent it back. Another ten minutes for the Anaheim Chili dish that was super greasy and seemed microwaved. Ate a few bites and then asked for the check. The waitress had a bad attitude and was not attentive. She was more concerned about the people sitting at the bar. I’m not sure why there are good reviews. John Taffert needs to visit this place pronto.

Small restaurant near in downtown upland. Great love music, however they add a credit card usage fee on the bill. On this age of contactless transactions, this sends a message that only your money is good and they don't value their guests. I'll find other venues

I’m 22 so the “younger generation” and we tried this place with a party of 6. They seemed annoyed to serve us. Threw our coasters at us check the cameras owner. I’m just saying, it’s important to incorporate the younger generation into a small business as I run a family owned business myself. I’m not an extra person but they were so rude we literally left the table, not a pleasant experience. I wouldn’t recommend!

Ayyyyyye, so the service is no bueno. Arrived on a Sunday night and had to get up and ask for a menu. When ready to order we attempted to flag down the waitress/ bartender with no success. She was just hanging out with her homie. If you want to drink do it to it. There’s probably better service. For food; they should leave the menus in a box up front that reads: “grab a menu, sit where you want and order at the bar.”
