We went for our Valentine's dinner, got in within 10 mins (they said 30 minutes but it was way less). They were quite busy, especially with large parties, but our service was very good, and the food was amazing as always. We had Honey Walnut Shrimp, Orange Chicken, and braised green beans. I also had the chicken corn egg drop soup. The bar drinks are also very good, I recommend the White Gummy Panda and the Panda-n.
Their Chinese food is excellent topnotch. You won't be disappointed. Everything I've ever had was delicious. Note that in the evening on Friday thru Sunday, it's packed. Be prepared for a wait. But they text you when your table is ready. I usually wait in my car and relax.
We went to Panda Inn last night to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday and had a party of 17. From the moment we sat down, everything was smooth and well organized, which is not easy with a group that size. Marcel was incredibly attentive. Our cups were never empty, and he consistently checked in to make sure everything tasted right and that we had what we needed. He made the whole experience feel effortless and welcoming. The food was great across the board, and the chocolate covered fortune cookie at the end was chef’s kiss. Such a fun and delicious touch to wrap up the night. Overall, a fantastic experience for a big family celebration. We will definitely be back.
My first experience eating here! Beautiful inside. The food started arriving to our table (5 of us) oh my goodness! So much food! Delicious, we were in happy mode the whole time. The waiter who took our order was so attentive but never too much, seemed to read minds as when to refill or come back to the table with what we needed before we even said it. Amazing food . Will definitely recommend and return with friends & my Mom. I can't believe I have lived in this area all my life and not known about this restaurant (1973)
We’re frequent diners at Panda Inn, and while we truly missed our longtime server, we can honestly say we’ve finally found his replacement in Alejandra. The food has always kept us coming back, but her service elevated the entire experience. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful, making us feel welcomed and cared for throughout the meal. Alejandra added something special to an already great place, and we look forward to being served by her again.
Great restaurant! Been here a few times and does not disappoint. Walnut shrimp is my family's favorite entree, with the Orange chicken coming in at a close second. The last time we went, Marcell was our waiter and did an amazing job. Very friendly, refilled our drinks at least twice, impeccable service Marcell! We mentioned to him that we loved the fortune cookies so much (dipped in white chocolate!), that we wanted to purchase a bag full. He brought our table another round of cookies on the house. Great place for a family dinner. On the pricey end, but the food is worth it!
The wife, the kids and myself went here for a nice family dinner. We had reservations and were seated right on time ever for being as packed as it was. The service was really good even though all the servers had so much going on. The one who served our table was actually helping the server who was supposed to be helping us, so that was really helpful of her. The food was really, really good. Yes the honey walnut shrimp was very good, it came out nice and hot and the taste was great. One of my boys ordered the short rib and the taste and cut of the meat was really good. The noodles and greens mixed with the juices from the meat was very flavorful. We also had the Mongolian beef and the orange chicken and those too were really nice and tasty dishes. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends and family anytime.
We love this place and its become our new favorite Chinese food restaurant. The quality of the ingredients is high, the food is served family style so expect leftovers. The servers are always friendly and are good at being present when needed without being intrusive. The environment is mostly nice, though the larger of the sitting areas feels a bit crammed if you have little ones with you. Our favorite dishes are the Panda Beef, the garlic noodles and the egg drop soup. Pro tip: ask for Chile oil on the side! We tried the lemon chicken this round and that was an entirely new experience! Think of a high quality chicken katsu but rather than katsu sauce, on the side y out have a piping hot bowl of the wonderfully potent lemon sauce that you can drizzle over the food at your leasure, very unique dish, would get it again. They also have a really refreshing drink if you are a fan of ginger, its a ginger ginger ale and it may sell out. All in all, this place is fantastic and well worth a visit, its classy without being too formal and you may get lucky and have a chance to try an experimental dish! I would say it's currently the best Chinese food in the inland empire at least. Note on cost: a family disj will cost around $40 but it will be enough for 2 adults and 1 toddler though we always go overboard and have lots of leftovers.
The most amazing food. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful, pleasant, and helpful. Our table constantly had everything we wanted and we never had an empty glass. They were happy to box up our leftovers for us. We're always extremely happy when we eat here 😊
I tried this place again, and it keeps getting more impressive. My wife can’t get enough of their pan-fried noodles, they reach the table perfectly crisp and full of flavor. I went for the sweet ‘n’ tangy shrimp, covered in an ultra-light coat that keeps the meal airy instead of heavy like many other spots. Every plate feels thoughtfully made, and we left fully satisfied. Highly recommended!
Have been coming here off and on for years. Jack our server was the highlight of our late lunch with the family! Food was amazing as always but this review is for the customers service we received it's not often you leave a restaurant and have a 10mins conversation with your family about how great the customer service was after leaving! Jack took care of my family like we were his own. Fast, good listener and ahead on refills! Simply put if I could give 10 stars I would and will certainly come back as long as the service remains the same! Thank you Panda Inn and THANK YOU JACK!
We almost always try to eat one meal at the Panda Inn when we stay in town to visit family. Everyone we take here seems to enjoy the food they ordered. You can also order the larger family style portions and share with the table. We normally start off with and order of dumplings and lettuce cups. My wife loves the pan fried noodles. They arrive at the table nice and crisp. I love the sweet and pungent shrimp 🍤 that is very lightly breaded. The light breading make this great dish even better, because you don't feel weighted down with all the breading other places use.
Definitely a great Chinese restaurant. Sweet and Sour chicken, with Panda Beef, hand fried noodles, and pot stickers, all were great! I recommend getting the panda beef for its crispy chewy texture and amazing taste! Don’t forget the fortune cookie!! Service was good. Nothing special there, but I have nothing negative about it. Atmosphere. It’s well done Chinese theme and the staff, AMAZING! Definitely has hype when there’s a birthday, which luckily, is quite common. Notice: GET RESERVATIONS! This place gets PACKED!!! Overall, amazing Chinese restaurant! Highly recommend if you’re in or near Ontario California! 🇹🇼🐉🥠🥟🥡
This was my first time here, and it was amazing. I love how it gives you the option for regular or family style dining. Everyone was so nice and friendly. The staff added to the great experience I had. At the end, they give you fortune cookies half dipped in chocolate. I am definitely coming back here. A must try is the garlic wok fried edame, AMAZING.
Delicious food and Marcel our server did a fabulous job. He is very attentive and professional. We will definitely return.
Our waiter Marcel was great. Very polite and asked if we needed anything else. A great waiter ask for him if you can.

Our family of five came here for dinner and I was the only Chinese raised member who grew up eating home cooked food. First off the service was excellent. The staff was constantly asking if we needed drink refills or anything else. We started with the homemade mini dumplings which took a little while but did taste very good. For main dishes we had the Panda beef, orange chicken (to compare with Panda Express) and the interesting upside down crispy noodles. We ordered the regular portions which I would say feed at least 2 people. I'm guessing the family size would feed about 4. They were slow to bring another dish or forgot it so we cancelled it, but the waiter was very apologetic and gave us a free dessert to compensate. We enjoyed everything. I would say that the food is catered for non Chinese (no chopsticks provided, not too spicy) and the food is what you would find at a very good traditional Chinese American restaurant. It is definitely more refined than what you get at Panda Express but not that much more expensive. I would compare Panda Inn to PF Changs but more traditional in food and atmosphere. We would come here again for sure.
I’ve been to Panda Inn before but it had been quite some time. Since I was visiting family in SoCal this was one of the stops we had on our list to go to. Our whole family went for dinner, a party of 7 and they were able to seat us right away. I will say that the ambiance of the restaurant is very upscale. I love the interior decor! They do offer private rooms, I’m not if theres an extra cost associated with being sat there but it’s a nice option to have if you want a more private, intimate gathering because the regular dining room is very loud. It’s a little hard to have a conversation with your party with how the room echoes so keep that in mind if you plan to dine here. Service was pretty good. We had 2 waiters apparently but really only one of them came around to get our orders or check in with us. The dishes are served family style so everyone can share. We ordered regular size for all of our choices and it was more than enough for our party of 7 people. I can’t remember all of the items we ordered but I know that their Phoenix chicken, Panda beef and fried rice were my top favorites from what we did get. The crab rangoon unfortunately was a bit too crabby for my liking, if you like seafood then definitely go for it. But me personally I tend to like more cream cheese than crab. My dad really liked their upside down noodles and my sister loves the panda beef. Overall Panda Inn is a really nice upscale Chinese restaurant, it definitely comes with the upscale prices though. For our dinner the total bill was around $260. We did order quite a bit though but their dishes are expensive. I think my favorite part is the chocolate covered fortune cookies they give you at the end. It’s partially coated in white chocolate and sooo delicious. Perfect way to end the pricey meal!
Great interior and fantastic service! The food is fine but on the pricier side. We arrived around 11:45 am on Saturday and there was plenty of seating available. I did make a reservation in advance just in case. Service from the hostess to the wait staff was one of the best I've had at this price point. Generous portions even for regular size. For larger groups, you can get family size. The panda beef is fine but I wouldn't get it again. The spicy eggplant and tofu was delicious and had a good heat to it. We also got the upside down crispy noodle with chicken. The chicken was really tender and juicy. The sauce for the noodles was light and heartwarming. They bring the crispy noodle separate from the sauce and they combine it table side upside down. I love the attention to detail there. Great experience!
Yummy food and good service! The place is nice too, well lighted. It's just expensive.

My group visited Pand Inn the day before Valentine’s Day. For a Friday night, it was incredibly packed. Even with a reservation, we still had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. The service was decent; nothing extraordinary, but I appreciated that they were quick to clear away used dishes and keep the table tidy. However, the timing was a bit frustrating, a table that sat down after us received their food in 15 minutes, while we waited closer to 30. As for the food, it was good, but for Chinese cuisine, I’ve had better for a lower price point. It was an interesting experience to try once, but I likely wouldn't return unless it was for a specific special occasion.

The only thing flatter than the experience was the Diet Coke. Zero carbonation—just lifeless, syrupy sadness in a glass. Calling it a soda is generous; it was essentially sweetened tap water pretending it belonged at a restaurant. The food didn’t fare any better. The grape tomatoes were soft, moldy, and clearly past the point where they should have been anywhere near a plate, let alone served to a paying customer. It’s hard to take a kitchen seriously when it can’t manage something as basic as produce quality. The lone bright spot was the server, who was genuinely attentive and professional and did their best to salvage an otherwise embarrassing situation. Unfortunately, good service can’t compensate for flat drinks and spoiled food. This was a quality-control failure from top to bottom, and it shows. On top of everything else, the price point is indefensible. You’re paying a premium as if this place offers something elevated or distinctive, yet what you actually get is fast-casual food with none of the reliability or value. There’s an apparent disconnect between what they charge and what they deliver. What makes it worse is that it doesn’t stand out from Panda Express in any meaningful way. Same assembly-line feel, same basic flavor profiles—except Panda is cheaper, more consistent, and at least meets baseline expectations. If you’re going to charge more, there should be a noticeable jump in quality, freshness, or execution. Instead, you’re left wondering why you didn’t just go to Panda and save money, time, and disappointment.
