Chili's in Orange receives praise for friendly, attentive staff and fast service. Roberto and Gabe are specifically mentioned for excellent service. The food is generally well-received, especially the mozzarella sticks and 3 for me deal, but some find the ribs inconsistent and water quality poor.

Our server Gabe brought out the best vibes the minute we sat down at our table and honestly made the experience so memorable. Some of my friends had never been to Chili’s before but the service and tasty bites have definitely sold them on it. We ordered the triple dippers and split it amongst us. Love it here 10/10 would come again whenever I’m in the area.
Very nice chili’s experience today. My margarita was incredible and you can’t beat the prices. Our server Eddy was very attentive and funny. Would definitely come back!
We love Chili's. Best menu ever. It has burgers, wings, fajitas, salads, quesadilla, southwest options, mozzarella bites, and the list keeps going. Has awesome cocktails and great Happy Hour items to go with your drinks. We try to go 1-2x a month. Service is always good and really fast, and servers are very attentive. The food is ready very quickly. A++
We were seated quickly. Food was typical for Chili's. I accidentally left my phone. Our server found it and kept it safe for me.
Roberto was such a sweet and patient worker; he is very attentive and complimented the atmosphere of the establishment!
Had an amazing night tonight. Was surprisingly slow for a friday night but that was good for us! Got seats right away! Our server, Brian, was patient and kind. He also had a great sense of humour. They did over cook my steak but fixed it right away. I guess not a lot of people get rare steak! Haha but it was great. Brian was wonderful, super attentive and sweet.
3 for me deal was great. Good salad with lots of stuff. Big burger and good fries.
Christina is a Phenomenal woman, super friendly and funny. The service was great and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is great as well enjoyed watching my game while I was having a cold one.
I recently dined at Chili's and had an absolutely fantastic experience! The food was delicious, but what truly made our visit stand out was our server, Ronnie. He was amazing! From the moment we sat down, Ronnie was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. His enthusiasm and energy were contagious, and he genuinely seemed to care about ensuring we had a great time. The food was cooked to perfection, and Ronnie made sure our glasses were always full. He even surprised us with a few extra treats, which was a lovely touch. I've been to Chili's many times before, but Ronnie's exceptional service took our experience to a whole new level. If you're looking for a great meal and outstanding service, ask for Ronnie! He's a true asset to the Chili's team. Thanks, Ronnie, for an unforgettable dining experience! We can't wait to come back!
Amazing service! Our bottomless chips and salsa and drinks were refilled before we even asked. Our burgers were quite delicious and reasonably priced. There’s even an option to just pay specifically for your meals. Chili’s definitely has the formula down!
Great service, great food. Restaurant is being remodeled, but not an inconvenience. Had the boneless buffalo wings, which are always good. The veggie burger was kind of messy. I would suggest Chilis using whole leaf lettuce versus shredded. The honey chipotle crispers were just ok, borderline dry. I just may be getting burnt out on the chipotle flavor. I ordered roasted street corn on the cob with it, but it was disappointing. It wasn't roasted at all, was more like boiled & slathered in mayo. I was tired and hungry, so didn't say anything. Finally, the boss burger. Wow!! Loaded in calories, but so delish! Well worth it if you're a meat lover. It's a burger with brisket, rib & sausage and bbq ranch sauce on a brioche bun. Also, don't forget to try the $5 pumpkin margarita. Yum!
Unbelievable fast service, food was awesome! I’ve been to several chili’s throughout my time and this one is by far the best! And one thing I’ve always notes was the broccoli, this establishments was cooked to perfection! Every where else either needed to some extra help or needed to actually be cooked!
I've been coming to chillis🌶 for over 13years now and it was loosing its touch a couple years ago but let me tell you they switched that up .... they stepped their game..👆 Their menu has a variety of delicious food... and they have great deals like two for 25$...full on bar🍻🍺so you don't stay thirsty ..i got some chicken fajitas and they were fire🔥🔥🔥 the mango chili chicken was delicious as well..definitely coming back soon.
I love chilis, but only this on in particular. The staff here is awesome and always helpful. The cook/s must be the flash because the food is always fast, delicious and fresh.
Service was really good everyone was nice. Food was very good for what we paid. Definitely coming back.
Hi Went to this location twice last month, with a friend. He talked myself to have the lunch special. Cheeseburger combo. It was great. Very filling meal. Just what I needed f Before going to baseball game. Will remember this, when im in the area again. Would like to thank Nick Also Natalia . She smells very nice and is a very good waitress. Was consistently checking our drinks and how or if we needed anything else. ***** stars Natalia Thank you
Gabriel our server was excellent, the best service I have received in A while as well as the food was very delicious. He checked on us frequently and made sure we had enough of everything.
Third visit to a Chili's in this single week (Thursday, Sunday, and today, Monday). All three were different locations. Once again, I enjoyed the "3 for me" meal...side salad, large cheeseburger a mound of fries and an Arnold Palmer. This time, my server in the bar was Melissa and she was as efficient and personable as the servers in the other two locations. Thank you one and all.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Service and Delicious Food! – Chili’s (1411 W Katella Ave, Orange) Every time we eat at Chili’s at 1411 W Katella Ave in Orange, the service is absolutely top‑notch. Even better — the food is just as amazing, if not better! We ordered the 3 for $10.99 deal, which includes a large drink, soup or salad, and a main dish. We went with the loaded potato soup to start — creamy, flavorful, and satisfying. For the main course, we had the smash burger with cheese and a side of French fries. The burger was cooked to perfection, and the fries were hot and crispy. What really stood out was the service. Our drinks were refilled before we even had to ask, and they even brought us to-go cups of tea as we were leaving. Consistently great service and delicious food — Chili’s never disappoints!
Place is very good, I usually go here at least once a month. But it's a great area to pass the time with some buds. Even though I think the time I just went this Saturday I got food poisoning, I think it was the Texas cheese fries that got me sick that time. . . . . . But nonetheless, it is a great area.
This place is was really amazing, I got my food so fast and the guy who served me and my mom was so sweet and nice, but it was kind sad that he had to work two jobs to support himself 😭 but he is so sweet 🥲 his name is Roberto
We literally left the lazy dig on the other side of the lot because it sucked and went to chili's where Amy the bartender and Jason who waited on us made up for the lousy night we were having and went beyond, thank you to chili's for saving the night with positive attitude and great drinks and food.
I had a strawberry margarita and it was so good, not strong. Had the 3 m3at fajitas really good.
We had incredible, kind, and efficient service from our server and the supporting team. The food was a bit salty for me, but everything was cooked well and very tasty. Queso, Sliders boneless chicken, mozzarella sticks, Mac and cheese guacamole fresh-made thin chips. We would order them all again. We will be back
I don't normally go out of my way to review franchise/chain restaurants. But this Chili's location was PHENOMENAL! We were seated quickly. Staff was attentive and very visible. Everyone was doing something. There was no one just standing around talking, making you wonder why no one had taken our order, or brought us our drinks, etc. They even humored my son who doesn't really know when it's not appropriate to tell stories in public. The service was AMAZING! We had our food 10-15 minutes after ordering and the food was delicious. We were visiting from out of state with a lot to do. So the quick service with the ability to just pay with the device at the table made it so we could enjoy a very good quality meal quickly and be on our way. Thank you!
Margarita chicken is delicious, moist and tender. Waitress was helpful and the service was great! What more can you ask for!
We used an app to order from the Katella location. The fajita combo gave us choices so we went with the steak and shrimp. It came with beans, rice and tortillas. There was also sour cream, cheese and salsa packaged separately which was nice. The chicken Alfreda pasta kids meal was a plenty with a lot of sauce. This meal included mandarin slices but you can choose something else along with the drink. The food arrived hot and the meat fajitas were also tender. The only thing that needs work is packaging the items so that they don’t spill because we had to clean items before placing them on the table and the holes in the bottom of the bag allowed the liquid to drip out.
Welcoming environment and friendly staff. Walked in and was immediately greeted by an usher who was delighted to direct my group to a booth. We ordered baby back ribs, Cajun Pasta, onion rings, and bacon steak quesadillas. All were a 9/10. Too bad I didn’t have room to try them all. Definitely will come back to this location as our food was prepared in less than 15 minutes. Btw I came around 7:30pm on a Tuesday night. Go during off-hours to avoid the wait !
My families and I’s food was cold when it arrived, but our server quickly put in a new order and told the manager about our situation. The manager Nick was super kind and made sure to make our food a priority. Our order came quickly and Nick even offered us a dessert on the house and gave us a discount as we had waited a while for our first food to arrive. Excellent customer service from Nick!
Melissa, the Bartender/Server extraordinare, helped us and it was the BEST time at Chili's that I have ever experienced!!! It was my 60th day continuation and started with the Straw-Eddy Margaritas, I got the Tahin Rimmed flavor, Shrimp and steak fajitas, free chips and salsa to start and a moulten lava cake for my birthday dessert
I came here for lunch with my family our wait time was 25-30 but we got sat within 15 minutes our server was very fast and attentive! He was really nice and checked up on us multiple times we got our appetizers out pretty fast everything was hot and fresh ! The portion sizes were huge ! I asked for a sirloin medium well which was cooked to perfection! Compliments to the chef ! Wish I got my servers name he had red curry hair we willl be asking for him next time
Ordered the bacon rancher double cheese burger. Gabe our waiter was happy to substitute American for cheddar and steamed broccoli for fries. I have not had a hamburger that good in years! Gabe was super attentive and knew the menu well. I look forward to coming back soon. Great place for dinner before the movie at Cinemark.
Had the special cocktail of the month the StrawEddy Margarita, Chips and salsa and the Tripple Trio to eat. It was fantastic! Our waitress was so friendly and kind and went out of her way for us. I will for sure be back to this location.
We stopped by for a birthday and server Roberto was very kind and had amazing service. He constantly checked up on our table and always made sure we had what we needed, well delivered service. Will definitely be back!
The time we went it was pretty busy, but the staff was so apologetic and seated us in a timely manner! By far one of the best experiences I had, the food was phenomenal and hot, and the mozzarella sticks were beyond perfect. The customer service from our server was exceptional, he was so quick to bring our food and refills without being asked! I almost felt like a kid again with how kind he was haha. I will definitely come back again, this location is always going above and beyond for it’s customers.
Second time visiting and hopefully my third is just as pleasent. Crystal wasnt a server but she did an amazing job with customer service and that is always very important when it comes to guests and people who come in to dine. I came for this wicked Martini stayed for the triple dipper and enjoy the atmosphere which was relaxing at least for me. I cant wait to come back.
Fast service! Great food! Friendly server! We were out of our area and were hungry. Found Chili’s wait time was 45 minutes but was called up at 20 minutes. My kids were happy! Food was correct, warm and delicious. And to top it off our server liked her job. Friendly, smiling and polite. Would definitely be back if in town.
Outstanding Dining Experience at Chili’s – A True Example of Excellence From the moment we walked through the doors of Chili’s, we were greeted with a warm atmosphere that balanced comfort and energy — a perfect setting for a memorable meal. Our experience from beginning to end was a shining example of what dining out should feel like: welcoming, seamless, and deeply satisfying. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every bite told a story of attention to detail and commitment to quality. Our appetizers were crisp, flavorful, and served at the perfect temperature. The entrees were nothing less than divine — cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and generously portioned. The bold, lively flavors that Chili’s is known for did not disappoint. Every plate that came to our table was a celebration of flavor and craftsmanship, honoring the traditional American casual dining experience that Chili’s has cultivated so well over the decades. The drinks were just as impressive, if not even more so. The cocktails were vibrant, refreshing, and expertly mixed. Each sip was balanced — neither too strong nor too sweet — capturing that elusive perfect middle ground that true bartending artistry demands. From the salted rims to the carefully selected garnishes, the drink presentation and quality were clearly the result of a team that takes real pride in their work. Customer service was where Chili’s truly distinguished itself. Our waitress was phenomenal — attentive without being intrusive, cheerful without being rehearsed, and clearly passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience. She anticipated our needs with precision and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our meal. A special highlight of our visit was Manager Don Beto, who personally came to our table to ensure everything was exceeding expectations. His leadership was evident not just in his personal attentiveness, but also reflected in the energy of the entire staff. It’s clear that Don Beto runs a tight, but compassionate ship — one where the employees are empowered to go above and beyond. In today’s fast-paced world, leadership like his is rare and absolutely invaluable. In sum, Chili’s delivered not just a meal, but an experience. They honored the proud tradition of American hospitality while staying fresh, fun, and focused on their guests. It’s no wonder Chili’s remains a household name. Our visit under the stewardship of Don Beto and his incredible team reaffirmed exactly why this brand continues to thrive. We look forward to many return visits — this Chili’s location has earned our loyalty. Highly recommend!
Outstanding service in a busy restaurant with solid food! We stopped in after DL to grab a quick dinner and try these mozzarella sticks we keep seeing on IG. Our waitress, she had red curly hair but didn't get her name, was the absolute highlight! My kid didn't like the drink, no problem, new drink. They served us the wrong appetizer, no problem, fixed it quickly. Seriously, this waitress made his loud, wild restaurant seem like we were the only ones there. Take care of her 🌶️'s, as she made our meal great. After a hot, busy day dodging the crowds, we were ready to sit down and enjoy some heavy food and maybe a beer or two in absolute peace (minus the packed restaurant of course). Our waitress took care of that for us and with the pretty good food and great service, it was exactly what we hoped for. I'm not a big fan of the big chain restaurants, don't get me started on the 🍎🐝🤦, but Chilis as of late has been extremely reliable. It did not disappoint and I feel the staff needed a call out, especially our waitress. Great service, good food and a nice, relaxing way to unwind after a day at the mouse house. Chili's knows what's up lately.
Normal Chili's restraunt. Came on a Friday night around 6pm and were able to get a table for 2 with in 15 minutes. Bar and dining area was full. Good location with plenty of parking.
It is crazy the.product is so good andnthe.prices are very reasonable but everything I dona to go order, when I go into the pick up area it almost always takes them 10 to 15 minutes to acknowledge me. The last time I went, I stood, waiting to be helped, and watch the manager talk about the current game that was on the TV for almost ten minutes. Did either of them aknoledge me? No. A waitress popped out of the kitchen about five minutes later to help me. Aaarrrggghhh!!!
The food is usually good and I like the family friendly atmosphere. The service can be hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it feels like we're forgotten about. Overall, good place to eat and enjoy
Chili's has been busy lately which is a good sign, wait was about 30 minutes and the estimated time on the app was pretty much perfect. Let's start by saying this wasn't the cleanest chili's I've been to, had a weird smell when we first walked in and the seat was pretty sticky but that could be from the sanitizer they use. But let's get to the POSITIVES, as I'm getting older, service is HUGE for a positive experience and our waiter was very attentive. Food was out quickly, I mean like we ordered, went to wash my hands and the appetizers were at our table. My wife said the house salad as good, skillet queso was pretty bomb, tenders was good and brisket quesadilla had a nice bbq flavor. Never had a problem with chili's quality in food. Would go back for a nice meal.
My friends and I all got the triple dippers. One of my friends was about to throw up at the end because he REALLY liked the big mouth bites. And he ate them all. I tried to give my friend a chicken tender and it bounced!! OFF HIS PLATE! And stained his favorite jacket. I even saw a friend today at Chili's (gabe)!! There also was not enough ranch for us, see photo. We are very excited for dessert, we tried to get the Jimmy Fallon brownie but crumbl was closed and it brought us here instead. What a great day I have had with my friends thanks to chili's.
Everyone was very kind and courteous. Seating was given almost immediately. Table service was excellent. Servers were attentive regarding drinks and our food was delivered within a reasonable amount of time. I had the Boneless Wings and Cajun Chicken Pasta and washed that all down with some Strawberry Lemonade. Wings were good. The buffalo sauce was a tad weak, but the flavor was present and they had a nice crunch to them. The Cajun Alfredo Pasta however, was not all it was hyped up to be. It wasn't terrible, but for a "Favorite" menu item, it was only adequate. By cajun, what they really mean is that they're sprinkling paprika or cayenne pepper over the chicken. It did not mesh well at all with the Alfredo sauce. They also put way too much parmesan cheese over it. I would've preferred the bread less soft and more toasted, but that's just nitpicking. It's a chain restaurant, you know what to expect. This one in particular was a good experience and I'd happily go again.
Service is usually very good. This visit was poor. Our waitress just disappeared. Maybe they were short-handed?
Food was delicious. Service was great and fast atmosphere was also nice but that night was a bit crowded. I recommend this place if you’re around the area for a nice meal or a cold drink.
The reason for the 4 star on food, it’s fair. To receive a 5 star, you say, WOW now thats really dang good! Not Chili’s. Rarely have I ever said those words when eating at a Chili’s. That’s just standard for a chain restaurant to have when reviewing. So not a bad thing, just not going to earn that 5th unless they start wowing folks. The ribs were not bad. A bit on the fatty side and the sauce a bit too tangy for my liking. Didn’t have a smokey, slow smoked all day kinda flavor you expect from a rack, or in this case, half rack of ribs. The chicken strips always have the “pre-breaded in a factory” taste and feel. You know fresh hand breaded chicken when you taste it. The street corn was overdone and too much going on the exterior to get the real flavors of street corn, or corn in general. The jalapeño sausage was ok, had a tough casing and was not hittin the jalapeño notes I was looking for. You desire that snap, followed by juicy sausage with bits of jalapeño and cheddar just dancing in your mouth…. Didn’t happen. The fries here are always a disappointment. Not cooked well, even when asked to be crispy. If they need an instruction pamphlet on how to cook crispy fries, I’m sure we can see they get one or even google it. The meal took a bit to come out, so maybe being offered chips and salsa to ease the wait pain, would have been smart move. There winner for the saving stars and keeping the rating in the 3’s was the chicken enchilada soup. One, if not their best dish on their menu. The cheesecake was standard and lacking real flavor and wasn’t complimented by the sauce well, because there wasn’t much there. The lava cake was a good 2nd place contender as it had rich and delicious chocolate flavor with some decent vanilla ice cream in the center. The atmosphere was standard franchise location look and feel… Could use a new vibe or freshen things up a bit. Was the meal worth $70… No. Could it have been better, for sure! Was it bad… NO… So I think the conscientious critique on this is 4 stars… That’s a fair rating.
It's New Years Eve, and there was a hockey game close by. We went after the game, and the restaurant was about sixty-five percent full. There just wasn't enough staff for the rush. The food was good and the staff was great. They were just slammed. We didn't mind as we were having a good time. We will go back. I am sure it will be a good experience
Good quick dinner. We saw online they offer a gluten free menu and when we asked to see one, we were told they didn't have one. I found it on my phone so we were able to order that way. We were to…

Chili’s WB appears same victim to management strategies across the chain where a lone bartender works both service bar and main bar. On a busy Friday night. The result is that the main bar service suffers, service bar suffers, and pours end up rushed and less than what is paid for. It’s an ok experience, but why eat out and pay buku bucks for average? Think it will be a while before we return.
Never seen the bartender, she spent more time in the back flirting and goofing off then at the bar. Food was mediocre. Asked the manager, he seemed to make more excuses than anything. Probably won't come back My server Julia was amazing, though. Time: 750pm Date: 7/22/25
It's Chili's. You know why you're here. Service was good, my drink was always filled. The food was like you expected. The burger tasted like what your mind imagines when you hear about that famous place that steams their burgers. I'm sure there's is amazing, but you imagine wet spongy burger with the taste of a burger flavored hotdog water. That's how this tasted. 3/5 would eat again.
4 years ago my review was so different. Now, it's just ok. An ok meal, with ok service, and ok prices. Not the choices it used to offer and not the samw quality. We had the 3 for Me deals which is a decent price, but only a couple choices for the low price. So burgers and mine was a chicken sandwich. Comes with an app and drink which makes it an ok deal. But not what it used to be. Used to be able to get the same deal with more options. My chicken sandwich was ok, not great. Just eont be going there much anymore since eating out is just more expensive now, and this experience was only "ok". Bummed. My favorite margarita chicken is not an option anymore on the deal menu.
So we decided to go to Chili's after the movies on Sunday. This would have been 5 ☆'s but unfortunately the service wasn't all that great. Our server Lori took our drink order and we waited a bit before they came. She even walked by and noticed we hadn't received our drinks yet. Sadly the Strawberry Lemonade was pretty weak. I ordered 3 Chicken Tacos that came w/ Mexican rice & Black Beans. Our food finally came out after we waited awhile. No joke...the rice was cold but the beans were warm and saved the plate. I ordered the Jalapeno sauce on the side which was done right but found chunks of Jalapenos in the beans...((sad face))!!!! I was hungry so I picked them out and ate everything on my plate. Maybe next time it'll be better.
First time coming back to Chili’s in 10 years, I wanted to see how the chips and salsa and burger compares. Overall food tasted good and mostly lives up to how I remember - also the kiosk on the table let us sign up and get a free chips and salsa on the spot (around $7.29). Service was fair to poor compared to similar diners or restaurants for our midweek dinner visit, from the staff checking us in having a rude tone while only looking at the iPad and not once making eye contact with us, to waiting 10-15 min for our check once we asked to pay cash (they are now pushing paying on the kiosk)
As a former Chili’s employee, I understand the flow of operations and customer service expectations. Unfortunately, my recent visit to this location left much to be desired. I arrived to place a takeout order and waited over 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Multiple staff members passed by without offering assistance or directing someone to help. After nearly 20 minutes, the manager finally came out, but by then, several of us had been waiting without support. To improve the guest experience, I strongly recommend implementing a clear system—perhaps a call button or notification screen—to alert staff when customers are waiting in the takeout area. On this visit, there were at least three of us outside, and not one person offered help until much later. I hope this feedback encourages better communication and responsiveness moving forward.
The restaurant was full and the atmosphere was great! I wanted to snack on some appetizers. However, the hickory honey cheese bars were too sweet, I dipped it into salty ranch, the egg rolls are delicious, and the sliders tasted like they slid in yesterday. I felt horrible after munching on those items. The service was great! Amy was awesome.
Overall it's a good place to eat and hangout with many options for food. The deals are a good value while many entrees are pricier. **Water quality used in their drinks has a terrible, moldy taste** Otherwise their drinks would taste fantastic but that it not the case. This water desperately needs help! I would take my own drinks going forward. Food was fresh and tasty. Fries are sometimes soggy but this time they came out fresh! The plain mozzarella sticks were ok, over rated in my opinion. They were overly fried. Southwestern egg rolls are very tasty. Their smash burger is always a hit. Salsa has almost zero spice, more tomato based than anything. The chips were fresh. Service: Depending on the day and who's working, some hosts/servers are social, pleasant, helpful and professional while others are anti all the above. The lack of consistency is unfortunate and appears to be acceptable and normal here. Perhaps it's a management issue. Restrooms were clean!
Last time I was here, the ribs came off the bone… today they were too crunchy and hard to bite on. I’ve came to this chilis a couple of times and sadly I think my last. The Mac and cheese very dry too ): the only good thing I had was the cheese jalapeños sausage… regret coming here for dinner.
I got the Cajun pasta and my dad got a burger. My dad thought the burger was pretty good and I thought the pasta was okay but not amazing. We also got chip trio which was way too big but the chips were actually good. As for the Alfredo it was okay and I also thought that it was unnecessary to put tomatoes and green onions on it because it wasn't good on the pasta. As for the service it was amazing. I just wish the quality of food was a bit better. No offense to the chefs lol. 😅
Wanted spare ribs as I'd been told Chili's were good. But this location apparently doesn't serve them. Not sure why not!
Wanted spare ribs as I'd been told Chili's were good. But this location apparently doesn't serve them. Not sure why not!
Menus were dirty. One was covered in crayon, the other had some gross sauce all over it. Also, the chicken salad only had 4 small bites of chicken.
The only good thing was our server. Our server was great and attentive. Ambiance seemed nice till I grabbed the chair at my table and it was super sticky. Went and washed my hands and came back. Our food came out and mine disagreed with me. I asked the server to take it and that was all. Then my friend told me her steak wasn’t agreeing with her either. The manager came over to ask what was wrong and we told him. His response was “it takes 2-3 hours for something for your stomach to have a reaction”. Then said “it probably was something you ate earlier”. I was fine leaving it alone but that annoyed me. I didn’t realize managers were doctors now.
The food was great. However, my 2 stars are because it took over 40 min to get our food. The place needs to keep up with some cleaning, not just on the tables, but the floors too. Then, to top it off, the lights went out on the entire side of my sitting area, and I was eating in the dark basically. I'm surprised you guys are short staffed on the weekend, definitely I suggest get more people at peak hours to help reduce the long wait time to order and serve.
top five worst service of all time. They double charged us for 3 items totaling $70. When we flagged our waitress down to let her know, her response was something like "oh yeah I know i double charged you for this one but i don't know about that one." so she knew she was charging items we didn't order but had us pay? interesting. in the end, she was told us we were good to leave so we left the restaurant and ended up talking outside as a group for a bit. A different server comes to us while we were outside and told us we didn't pay for items on our tab. We told them it was double charged and our waitress said we were good to go, but they insisted we come back in. the manager also told us the same thing. luckily we had our receipts ready and we had to walk her through our entire order so she can realize the mistake for herself. Our waitress was standing there dumbfounded and we just had no other words for that horrible experience. If we were trying to dine and dash, why would we stay and talk outside of the restaurant? also, you couldn't take two minutes to check and confirm with your staff before you pull us back into the restaurant and cause a scene which made your team look incompetent?! wild.
I am a big loyal fan of Chili's. Every where i travel, my first dining choice would be Chili's. Whereever i go across the region or within the US, Chili's gets me. The menu variety is my own preference and portions are generous. However, this isn't the case in socal. I have tried more than one branch, the moment i enter i smell something bad...floor is always dirty. I think it needs renovation or to be cleaned with water and soap every day. Menu pages are stinky and tables too. In my own opinion, the moment you enter any restaurant, you should feel fresh air and smell yummy food and notice the hygiene.
I asked the server to make sure our food was fresh and when it got to the table it was cold. My steak also looked weird
Came on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival they quoted me a 45 minute wait which is okay because it was pretty busy. We waited and after 40 minutes decided to ask how much longer it would be because there were some empty tables. The hostesses made it a point to tell me that we had only been waiting for 40 minutes when they had supposedly quoted me 45 minutes to an hour (which they didn’t!). They decided to give me a lame excuse that there were some tables closed because there were enough servers and could only tell me that they had a table picked for me but that there were still people there and we needed to wait another 15 minutes. I’ve been to this Chilis before and have never experienced this. They need to have more servers and need their employees trained on customer service! I’ll make sure to visit another Chili’s but it won’t be the one in Orange, CA!!!!
I was waiting for my Uber at the bar. A bartender walks up to me and asks, "are you almost done" when my beer had about 25% left. Obviously he was pressuring me to leave. So I stepped outside and now I'm waiting for my Uber outside in the cold. Its only 11p
We went for dinner last night and really was going for the new mozzarella sticks which were amazing. We were seated and when we sat down noticed our table still had the last customers salsa bowl on our table. We ordered appetizers and dinner at the same time and within minutes maybe 7 minutes tops all 3 dinners and appetizers were on our tables which is really fast service and appreciated. My daughter ordered chicken strips and fries which is her norm at every restaurant. Fast forward to 1am she wakes up in excruciating stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhea. I took her to the doctors and she was diagnosed with FOOD POISONING. I thought I would call and speak to a manager and spoke with Kat who seemed very unconcerned about the fact that she had food poisoning she basically just said she hasn’t had a call from anyone else about last night but would talk to her cooks about how fast the food came out. Never once did she ask what my daughter ordered I had to provide that information to her and still she was not concerned. Not one how can we make this better or anything. Terrible customer service if you ask me. We just won’t be returning there ever. Thanks for caring Kat. Appreciate it
The food at this Chili’s was exactly what you’d expect. However, the service at this location is what truly set it apart, and not in a good way. Our experience started off well, with a friendly hostess who seated us immediately. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. We waited about 20 minutes before a server even acknowledged us, despite two other parties who arrived after us being helped first. When our server finally came to the table, she was short with us and borderline rude. To make matters worse, she forgot both our drinks and appetizer. The most frustrating part was that a manager was present in the section the entire time, yet nothing was done to address the poor service. This seems less like a server issue and more of a management problem. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit this location again.
I think burnt was an understatement for what I received. I ordered a medium rare ribeye. I received a burnt piece of meat that was so tough and dry and bitter from all the charred bits, it was basically inedible. This is kind of ridiculous considering the ribeye cost $20+. I basically wasted money on a dinner I couldn’t even eat.
It’s my very first visit to a chilis. I’m currently sitting at the bar. This very minute. Took like 10 mins to get my drink in. And I also Included some food. Since I waited for 10 minutes. I had nothing else to do. Right. So I’ve been here for like 25 mins. I have yet been offered another beer. I have moved my glass like 5 times towards the bar tender. Yet he just wanted ignores me. Paying attention to other customers. I am not jokin here. I’m being serious. I asked for blue cheese. I got ranch. I’ve been here for almost 30 mins and I still have yet to been offered another beer. I ordered some sampler with mozzarella, boneless wings and two sliders. And the food is great. But this bar tender is trash. Never coming here ever again. First and last. And I even downloaded the app for the rewards. Pointless I’m never coming here ever again. I just wanted to try it out
Drove to go eat there just to see a sign temporary closed.... online status should be updated so people dont waste their time
Was closed after monster jam for some unknown reason. Very disappointing to see as us and lots of other people came to the store to find it closed
I ordered the asparagus and Nashville mozzarella sticks for $39 deliverd food was cold when arrived mozzarella sticks had too much cayenne pepper it was so salty and hard to eat. I ate 1 tossed the rest. Overly priced for bad quality.
The food at Chilli's wasn't bad but it wasn't the best either. I ordered chips & salsa, chicken tenders, fries and a lemonade. The chips and salsa were the best tasting item out of my whole entire meal. The waitress didn't even check on us. My overall experience was okay. I'm definitely not coming back anytime soon.
The worst reception I have ever seen in a restaurant and the food was cold. The receptionist at the door was very bad. Unfortunately, I am used to the Irvine branch, but it was closed, so I had to come to this branch. It was the worst experience. The receptionist was very bad and the food was cold, unlike usual. It was really a bad experience and I will not repeat it again.
ordered through the mobile app. said they was gonna text me when it’s ready never did so i walked in. no one was at the front saw my food sitting there so i just grabbed it got home ate the burger which was ok buns a little soggy and fries cold because it was just sitting there for who knows how long then as i finish my meal and drink i open the lid to chew ice and i fine this in the bottom. someone lost a key ring ?
It took all of 5 minutes to walk in and out of this experience. The hostess, god bless her, seemed tired and over it. And to be exact it was the 5 ft diva with a ponytail and the bad attitude❤️
Overall quality and portions seem very lackluster. First time here and disappointed to say the least. Ordered take out the portions were decent. Asked for 2 separate fries for a reason and was given a container with both orders, upon asking staff that I ordered 2 separate ones, I was just told that’s how the kitchen served them up and nothing could be done. On top of that they ran out of mozzarella sticks for one of my orders, they offered me something else in place of the mozzarella sticks. The pictures show how rushed the food looks and the sliders were falling apart, pics were taken upon opening to eat. I get that they’re busy, but at least try offer something for the inconvenience.
