What Customers Say About Chili's
Chili's in Orange receives praise for friendly, attentive staff and fast service. Roberto and Gabe are specifically mentioned for excellent service. The food is generally well-received, especially the mozzarella sticks and 3 for me deal, but some find the ribs inconsistent and water quality poor.

Chili's Orange Reviews
Melissa, the Bartender/Server extraordinare, helped us and it was the BEST time at Chili's that I have ever experienced!!! It was my 60th day continuation and started with the Straw-Eddy Margaritas, I got the Tahin Rimmed flavor, Shrimp and steak fajitas, free chips and salsa to start and a moulten lava cake for my birthday dessert
I came here for lunch with my family our wait time was 25-30 but we got sat within 15 minutes our server was very fast and attentive! He was really nice and checked up on us multiple times we got our appetizers out pretty fast everything was hot and fresh ! The portion sizes were huge ! I asked for a sirloin medium well which was cooked to perfection! Compliments to the chef ! Wish I got my servers name he had red curry hair we willl be asking for him next time
Ordered the bacon rancher double cheese burger. Gabe our waiter was happy to substitute American for cheddar and steamed broccoli for fries. I have not had a hamburger that good in years! Gabe was super attentive and knew the menu well. I look forward to coming back soon. Great place for dinner before the movie at Cinemark.
Had the special cocktail of the month the StrawEddy Margarita, Chips and salsa and the Tripple Trio to eat. It was fantastic! Our waitress was so friendly and kind and went out of her way for us. I will for sure be back to this location.
We stopped by for a birthday and server Roberto was very kind and had amazing service. He constantly checked up on our table and always made sure we had what we needed, well delivered service. Will definitely be back!
The time we went it was pretty busy, but the staff was so apologetic and seated us in a timely manner! By far one of the best experiences I had, the food was phenomenal and hot, and the mozzarella sticks were beyond perfect. The customer service from our server was exceptional, he was so quick to bring our food and refills without being asked! I almost felt like a kid again with how kind he was haha. I will definitely come back again, this location is always going above and beyond for it’s customers.
Second time visiting and hopefully my third is just as pleasent. Crystal wasnt a server but she did an amazing job with customer service and that is always very important when it comes to guests and people who come in to dine. I came for this wicked Martini stayed for the triple dipper and enjoy the atmosphere which was relaxing at least for me. I cant wait to come back.
Fast service! Great food! Friendly server! We were out of our area and were hungry. Found Chili’s wait time was 45 minutes but was called up at 20 minutes. My kids were happy! Food was correct, warm and delicious. And to top it off our server liked her job. Friendly, smiling and polite. Would definitely be back if in town.
Outstanding Dining Experience at Chili’s – A True Example of Excellence From the moment we walked through the doors of Chili’s, we were greeted with a warm atmosphere that balanced comfort and energy — a perfect setting for a memorable meal. Our experience from beginning to end was a shining example of what dining out should feel like: welcoming, seamless, and deeply satisfying. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every bite told a story of attention to detail and commitment to quality. Our appetizers were crisp, flavorful, and served at the perfect temperature. The entrees were nothing less than divine — cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and generously portioned. The bold, lively flavors that Chili’s is known for did not disappoint. Every plate that came to our table was a celebration of flavor and craftsmanship, honoring the traditional American casual dining experience that Chili’s has cultivated so well over the decades. The drinks were just as impressive, if not even more so. The cocktails were vibrant, refreshing, and expertly mixed. Each sip was balanced — neither too strong nor too sweet — capturing that elusive perfect middle ground that true bartending artistry demands. From the salted rims to the carefully selected garnishes, the drink presentation and quality were clearly the result of a team that takes real pride in their work. Customer service was where Chili’s truly distinguished itself. Our waitress was phenomenal — attentive without being intrusive, cheerful without being rehearsed, and clearly passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience. She anticipated our needs with precision and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our meal. A special highlight of our visit was Manager Don Beto, who personally came to our table to ensure everything was exceeding expectations. His leadership was evident not just in his personal attentiveness, but also reflected in the energy of the entire staff. It’s clear that Don Beto runs a tight, but compassionate ship — one where the employees are empowered to go above and beyond. In today’s fast-paced world, leadership like his is rare and absolutely invaluable. In sum, Chili’s delivered not just a meal, but an experience. They honored the proud tradition of American hospitality while staying fresh, fun, and focused on their guests. It’s no wonder Chili’s remains a household name. Our visit under the stewardship of Don Beto and his incredible team reaffirmed exactly why this brand continues to thrive. We look forward to many return visits — this Chili’s location has earned our loyalty. Highly recommend!
Outstanding service in a busy restaurant with solid food! We stopped in after DL to grab a quick dinner and try these mozzarella sticks we keep seeing on IG. Our waitress, she had red curly hair but didn't get her name, was the absolute highlight! My kid didn't like the drink, no problem, new drink. They served us the wrong appetizer, no problem, fixed it quickly. Seriously, this waitress made his loud, wild restaurant seem like we were the only ones there. Take care of her 🌶️'s, as she made our meal great. After a hot, busy day dodging the crowds, we were ready to sit down and enjoy some heavy food and maybe a beer or two in absolute peace (minus the packed restaurant of course). Our waitress took care of that for us and with the pretty good food and great service, it was exactly what we hoped for. I'm not a big fan of the big chain restaurants, don't get me started on the 🍎🐝🤦, but Chilis as of late has been extremely reliable. It did not disappoint and I feel the staff needed a call out, especially our waitress. Great service, good food and a nice, relaxing way to unwind after a day at the mouse house. Chili's knows what's up lately.
Food was delicious. Service was great and fast atmosphere was also nice but that night was a bit crowded. I recommend this place if you’re around the area for a nice meal or a cold drink.
The reason for the 4 star on food, it’s fair. To receive a 5 star, you say, WOW now thats really dang good! Not Chili’s. Rarely have I ever said those words when eating at a Chili’s. That’s just standard for a chain restaurant to have when reviewing. So not a bad thing, just not going to earn that 5th unless they start wowing folks. The ribs were not bad. A bit on the fatty side and the sauce a bit too tangy for my liking. Didn’t have a smokey, slow smoked all day kinda flavor you expect from a rack, or in this case, half rack of ribs. The chicken strips always have the “pre-breaded in a factory” taste and feel. You know fresh hand breaded chicken when you taste it. The street corn was overdone and too much going on the exterior to get the real flavors of street corn, or corn in general. The jalapeño sausage was ok, had a tough casing and was not hittin the jalapeño notes I was looking for. You desire that snap, followed by juicy sausage with bits of jalapeño and cheddar just dancing in your mouth…. Didn’t happen. The fries here are always a disappointment. Not cooked well, even when asked to be crispy. If they need an instruction pamphlet on how to cook crispy fries, I’m sure we can see they get one or even google it. The meal took a bit to come out, so maybe being offered chips and salsa to ease the wait pain, would have been smart move. There winner for the saving stars and keeping the rating in the 3’s was the chicken enchilada soup. One, if not their best dish on their menu. The cheesecake was standard and lacking real flavor and wasn’t complimented by the sauce well, because there wasn’t much there. The lava cake was a good 2nd place contender as it had rich and delicious chocolate flavor with some decent vanilla ice cream in the center. The atmosphere was standard franchise location look and feel… Could use a new vibe or freshen things up a bit. Was the meal worth $70… No. Could it have been better, for sure! Was it bad… NO… So I think the conscientious critique on this is 4 stars… That’s a fair rating.
It's New Years Eve, and there was a hockey game close by. We went after the game, and the restaurant was about sixty-five percent full. There just wasn't enough staff for the rush. The food was good and the staff was great. They were just slammed. We didn't mind as we were having a good time. We will go back. I am sure it will be a good experience
Good quick dinner. We saw online they offer a gluten free menu and when we asked to see one, we were told they didn't have one. I found it on my phone so we were able to order that way. We were to…

As a former Chili’s employee, I understand the flow of operations and customer service expectations. Unfortunately, my recent visit to this location left much to be desired. I arrived to place a takeout order and waited over 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Multiple staff members passed by without offering assistance or directing someone to help. After nearly 20 minutes, the manager finally came out, but by then, several of us had been waiting without support. To improve the guest experience, I strongly recommend implementing a clear system—perhaps a call button or notification screen—to alert staff when customers are waiting in the takeout area. On this visit, there were at least three of us outside, and not one person offered help until much later. I hope this feedback encourages better communication and responsiveness moving forward.
The restaurant was full and the atmosphere was great! I wanted to snack on some appetizers. However, the hickory honey cheese bars were too sweet, I dipped it into salty ranch, the egg rolls are delicious, and the sliders tasted like they slid in yesterday. I felt horrible after munching on those items. The service was great! Amy was awesome.
Overall it's a good place to eat and hangout with many options for food. The deals are a good value while many entrees are pricier. **Water quality used in their drinks has a terrible, moldy taste** Otherwise their drinks would taste fantastic but that it not the case. This water desperately needs help! I would take my own drinks going forward. Food was fresh and tasty. Fries are sometimes soggy but this time they came out fresh! The plain mozzarella sticks were ok, over rated in my opinion. They were overly fried. Southwestern egg rolls are very tasty. Their smash burger is always a hit. Salsa has almost zero spice, more tomato based than anything. The chips were fresh. Service: Depending on the day and who's working, some hosts/servers are social, pleasant, helpful and professional while others are anti all the above. The lack of consistency is unfortunate and appears to be acceptable and normal here. Perhaps it's a management issue. Restrooms were clean!
Last time I was here, the ribs came off the bone… today they were too crunchy and hard to bite on. I’ve came to this chilis a couple of times and sadly I think my last. The Mac and cheese very dry too ): the only good thing I had was the cheese jalapeños sausage… regret coming here for dinner.
I got the Cajun pasta and my dad got a burger. My dad thought the burger was pretty good and I thought the pasta was okay but not amazing. We also got chip trio which was way too big but the chips were actually good. As for the Alfredo it was okay and I also thought that it was unnecessary to put tomatoes and green onions on it because it wasn't good on the pasta. As for the service it was amazing. I just wish the quality of food was a bit better. No offense to the chefs lol. 😅
Wanted spare ribs as I'd been told Chili's were good. But this location apparently doesn't serve them. Not sure why not!

Overall quality and portions seem very lackluster. First time here and disappointed to say the least. Ordered take out the portions were decent. Asked for 2 separate fries for a reason and was given a container with both orders, upon asking staff that I ordered 2 separate ones, I was just told that’s how the kitchen served them up and nothing could be done. On top of that they ran out of mozzarella sticks for one of my orders, they offered me something else in place of the mozzarella sticks. The pictures show how rushed the food looks and the sliders were falling apart, pics were taken upon opening to eat. I get that they’re busy, but at least try offer something for the inconvenience.
