Restaurante señorial con ambiente zen. Los sillones gigantes de ratán son preciosos, la decoración Thai muy chula. Presentación buena de los platos y sabores exóticos. El personal muy amable es la segunda vez que los visitamos así que volveremos a repetir seguro.

Seems to be a new menu with friendly serving staff. One of the best Thai restaurants we've been to and we are all very picky. All 5 of us had different starters and mains and all fantastic and fresh. We were glad we didn't pay attention to the negative reviews, we had a very positive experience.

We’ve been going to this restaurant for over ten years now. Recently it changed hands and has received some bad reviews so we almost didn’t go back. I’m so glad we did. The food is as delicious as ever, with a wider expanded menu including some pretty spectacular looking steaks. We have been three times this month and will continue to go for the quality of the food. The staff work incredibly hard especially at busy times - weekends are busy so booking ahead is advisable. One little issue we had - they charged us two extra waters tonight, and the same happened last week. There was no issue when we brought it to their attention. But do check your docket before paying. I did see some incredibly irate customers who were so rude to the floor staff. We said it quietly and it was fixed just as easily for us. Ana has been there for as long as we have been going, but all the staff there are friendly and helpful, if overworked on busy nights. Well be back again for the quality and value - can’t be beaten - €95 for food for five, 6 waters and a cider - and really good food 💕

Great place!!!! After reading google reviews my husband and i were afraid to go to this place expecting all the bad and tasteless things that were in the bad recent reviews BUT my husband insisted on visiting Banana Tree. we came and did not regret it! the food was incredibly tasty! tom yum was wonderful! all our other dishes were incredibly tasty! for two we spent 85 euros including incredible cocktails. it is not cheap BUT the taste of these dishes definitely deserves this price. the only negative is that the cocktails are incredibly tasty, you want a lot of them, but they cost about 9 euros. 😛 the service was top notch, very nice polite and friendly waiters, took into account our wishes and suggested popular dishes of this restaurant. I especially want to say thank you to the Russian-speaking girl who was incredibly friendly and polite! the atmosphere and decor in the restaurant are super 🙂 banana tree is definitely a great place that you need to visit. It is now one of our favourite places in Orihuela Costa.

Nice place et good food. We'll come back. We have been many times there. Always ok. Last night we went there again. Some of the food was too cooked. The lady does not speak spanish, nor english and does not understand what we were asking.

Beautiful atmosphere because of the decor. Service was very good and the food was even better. Plenty of choice on the menu and the possibility to adjust the dish to your taste. Pricewise also very good! Would highly recommend this gem!

Absolutely love this place! Visited twice during our holiday in August. Beautiful restaurant, occasional entertainment too. Our teenage daughter loves thai/asian food and commented that she had never seen so much choice! It was significantly cheaper to eat here as a family of 3, in comparison to where we stayed a few months earlier in Ibiza. We have plans to return! Have just discovered there's a restaurant opened in Birmingham's Bullring so we'll be visiting there soon too.

Super Lovely time. We took the Asian menu for 4. Enough food, good deal. Service was overall very well, although a bit fast on cleaning the table while still eating. The servants were very apologetic reg. long wait for food, something we didn't even notice. ❤️ The only thing we miss was more cold air/ventilators. But we don't complain, we are on holidays. People shouldn't complain 😊 🌞

If you are in Torrevieja or anywhere near la Zania and looking for Thai restaurants, this is your place. Lovely ambiance, good portioned food, attentive service and reasonably priced. I have been one of the regulars here and love it.

The food is always amazing, the staff is very friendly, and the environment is outstanding! A nice change to eat in a restaurant where the trees are inside! I highly recommend the spicy spare ribs for starters, but everything was absolutely delicious!

Had yet another gr8 night & meal here. Was not over busy, but most of the tables were booked or covered by walk ins such as ourselves. Had a lovely table by 1 of the open front windows. Was a nice breeze. So we were not overheated. The staff were very attentive 2wards us throughout the whole meal. There were 3 of us who attended & we had a shared starter. Was lovely & came on a jade dragon dish. Looked amazing. The main course looked & tasted lovely 2. The Sunshine radio man turned up as we were eating & always puts on a good nights entertainment. Had a lovely dessert Baileys with icecream, followed by coffee. Gr8' night & very reasonable price. Will go again & again lol. It's well worth the visit. Enjoy if U go 😁

Don't be put off by the outside of this restaurant. I was so surprised how good the food was the first time we ate here. This is our second visit and once again we were not disappointed. The menu has photos, usually I would find this tacky, but her it works and it really helps you decide what to order (see photos). Good service too!

Fuimos tres personas y pedimos menú para dos, y algunas raciones aparte. Teníamos reserva, aunque al llegar, el restaurante estaba muy tranquilo. La comida está muy sabrosa. El servicio va algo pausado, pero puntual. El diseño del local es muy bonito, pero falta algo de climatización

Destacar la rapidez y el buen servicio. La comida estaba buena, el pad thai estaba un poco seco y el pollo con frutos rojos le faltaba alguna salsita, pero todo lo demas estaba delicioso, en especial las gambas de la abuela!!! Volveremos pronto :)

Always our go to restaurant for a Thai meal but we were disappointed this time. I think the food had been pre-cooked and didn’t seem as tasty as normal. We always order the set meal and were disappointed that our drinks weren’t included and the staff didn’t seem interested in serving us. Will try again as maybe it was just the time of year

It looks very appealing from outside and we decided to try it. The decor inside is nice and it was busy. I must say that the service was not good. Staff are not very friendly, which is unusual. We ordered several dishes, and keeping in mind that there were three of us I thought the bill was high considering the poor standard of food except for ribs which were superb. I have never seen the colour of the Thai Green Prawn Curry except in the Shreik movies, and I dread to think how many additives etc were in this dish. It was awful in taste and appearance. My husband got Thai Red Curry...again the weirdest colour and unfortunately taste as bad. The Singapore noodles were obviously cooked earlier and the Pad Thai was the same. They were stuck together and awful. Very very disappointing.

This was our first time at this restaurant, although we have passed it many times. The ambiance and the decorations are very nice and there is a great feeling of zen inside. The service is efficient but not particularly friendly, gives the impression of indifference. The cuisine is good but not great, impossible to classify. It is asiatic but not Thai, I have eaten Thai food all over the world, including in Thailand, and this is nothing like any of the others. My starter was good, and my wife enjoyed her salmon dish. Worth going back for a second time to try something else.

Sadly I was a bit disappointed with this restaurant. The staff are friendly but the food was awful. I hate to give a negative review but the massaman curry I ordered was not a massaman curry. The chicken was like rubber too. The menu had far too much on it, it would take nearly an hour if you didn't scan through it. The thai spring rolls were decent. It's a shame for such a beautiful interior that the food doesn't match it. I have lived in Thailand so maybe I had too high expectations but this didn't seem like authentic Thai food at all.

We arrived a bit late 22 (closing 23.30) the staff seemed to be bothered by out late appearance, and the service was not good. Our starter menus was not brought to the table at same time. Food was ok, but lots of oil. Not my favorite. The fried rice with eggs was dry and uninspiring Parking is OK right outside on the road. There's put a lot effort in the decorating of the restaurant.

Entrega rápida pero comida pésima. Pad Thai con salsa de tomate? Hola? En la vida he visto eso. Ademas de venir pobres de ingredientes, solo 4 gambas y 2 ajos partidos por la mitad. Ni verdura ni brotes de soja, nada de nada. Las fotos no se corresponden con la realidad... Rollos de pato dice que son 3 UNIDADES, pues es UNA UNIDAD PARTIDA EN TRES TROZOS!!! Lo único que se salva un poco es el pollo tailandés con salsa agridulce. Horrible experiencia y 27.80€ tirados a la basura. No vuelvo ni aunque me inviten!!!!
