Great atmosphere love love the service
I never drink Starbucks. I prefer less corporate cafes. But I received a gift card. Coffee was of middling quality as expected. But the staff here were so friendly and efficient, they get 8 out of 5 stars, which makes up for the 2-star coffee. If I had a business, I would be poaching this staff big time.
I love Starbucks!!!! They continue to add new selections that are great. I look for some of my seasonal favorites as well. I love that I can buy products off the shelf of the grocery store as well. The best thing about SB is the rewards program. Make sure you sign up and download the app.

Got a Cookie's & Cream Cake Pop -it was really good -staff was nice -staff got my cake pop really fast -Coffee smell was to strong in the store (>_<)
I love this Starbucks. I don’t live in Orinda, but I make the commute just for the employees. I went in the other night and had a lovely conversation with two employees, Johnathan and Gabbi—those two are the best. Made the best matcha :)

It's a Starbucks, not the biggest one, not the newest one, not the fastest service but friendly and just does what you need a Starbucks to do.

My experience at Starbucks comes down to two items, the bathroom and how good the latte is, both were fine here. If you want to come socialize, study or just grab your favorite coffee, this is the place. Great staff too!

Employees were pleasant but loud and very noisy. Youths being too young and not considerate of customers trying to hear work related info. They needed to lower their volume. It's a small lobby and lod while they are having fun wasn't fun for me.
This is my first time here, a small Starbucks as compare to others. Their coffee brew is hot, the way I like it, this store coffee brewing isn't like the one in Walnut Creek. Because the store is small, the music seemed loud. There is outside sitting, thank goodness, it was a sunny day. Street can be busy, due to local supermarket just across the street. Wasn't hungry enough to try their treat. I will try the next time I go there. Employees are friendly - "Keep up the good work"

The employees at this Starbucks are super friendly but they always take forever to make a drink. Like no one in line barely any people there. And it’s taking 30 mins to make one drink why is that!? It doesn’t make sense to me why it takes so damn long every single time I go here. Like I said staff is nice but it takes way too long to get a damn drink
I was in today grabbing my drink order that I placed online. When I arrived, the drink wasn’t made so I asked Madison if I was able to add an espresso shot ; she replied NO and began to give me a bs reason as to why she couldn’t charge me and make a TINY shot to add to my drink that wasn’t even started…The service is subpar for such a small location that didn’t have any foot traffic at the time…
Slow slow slow and not because the baristas are slow. It’s the flood of mobile orders with one person addressing all of them If they could cover for the dedicated mobile order person that would help but on a Saturday at noon there were only three people there Looks like not enough to me. The last time I was here it was over thirty minutes for a latte and during that time the mobile orders that had just come in were done and picked up. You can see the tags being pulled so yes I’m sure of that.
Met some people but had a hard time having a conversation since the staff was VERY loudly shouting and laughing. Someone needs to train them better.

I know its not for everyone. I just am disgusted when people bring dogs into a restaurant or coffee shop. Anywhere that prepares food. The staff was fine, not friendly or open, not rude or anything. Just more ehh I'm here I'm doing my job. I have no complaints about that either. I felt that to my soul that day. The dog inside, I just absolutely despise. It ruined my food knowing it was inside and the food was prepared right there. I opted not to eat or drink after that. Plus the lady couldn't even hold a leash for a 5 pound dog and it kept running to me. I am an animal lover but time and place. Place outside and time not on my break to deal with someone else's dog.
this place is such a scam. they make u pay so much money and then fill ur whole drink with ice. they don’t even fill the drink all the way to the top and they charge u at least 6 dollars for a basic drink. not to mention their matchas taste like milk and i could make a better one at home for free.
I would like to like it here but I don’t. I come here often to study in between my breaks for work, and I’ve noticed every time I come in I don’t get greeted. This wouldn’t be a problem tbh if they treated other customers the same but every customer who comes in after me gets welcomed nicely. This happens every single time I come in. My partner unexpectedly visited me today while I was studying and they greeted him as well. We then left to grab something at Safeway and came back right after and there was still no greeting at all. I’m posting this because as employees in customer service, all customers should be treated equally and hopefully the owners read this to bring it to their attention. I would go to a different Starbucks but this location is really convenient for me.
I came in for a decaf coffee white chocolate mocha Frappuccino and a pumpkin loaf. I ended up with a peppermint mocha cream Frappuccino, there's no coffee in it. The first one they actually made a regular mocha. No decaf regular chocolate which I wanted white chocolate Peppermint. The pumpkin loaf was okay. But yes completely unsatisfactory. And this is not the first time.
I ordered a drink early this morning and waited 57 minutes. The manager wasn’t there and the staff kept arguing. HERE IS THE RECEIPT See it clearly states ORINDA HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT TIMES…so inconsistent. SO RUDE AND REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

The cashier had a bad attitude and my chi tea latte was bland watery and unsweetened. The instructions I gave were not followed. Made me feel like I didn’t belong there. Could it have been my darker color ?
