Wow, where has this place been all my life. By far the best Fajitas I’ve had. Far out does any local spot including Agave Azul. Mariana was welcoming and attentive. She has future manager potential. The steak was sooo good.

I am not sure how long this place has been here. But it is such a happy finding. My husband and I were just want to get something to eat and don’t want to drive far. So we come to the hunters creek plaza. We were walking around and found this place. I am so glad we step in. It is modern and clean and well decorated. I had the virgin passion fruit mojito, was so pretty and delicious. I wasn’t that hungry so I had loaded avocados. It is the best! I normally don’t like shrimp that much, but I LOVED every bite I had here. My husband had the fried snapper, and he enjoyed it very much as well. We ll definitely recommend this to all our neighbors and friends

The food is very good, I ordered enchiladas de mole, and were very good, a little bit of more mole sauce would be nice, flavors very good and authentic. Guacamole 🥑 awesome. The services was on point, very kind and nice staff. The only thing was the atmosphere, to many white lights, and the booths tables are thin, so if you ordered a lot of food you will feel cramped. Otherwise very good.

Viviana was our server and not only was the service amazing, but the food also matched up! Also the drinks are so yummy, I got the coco margarita and couldn’t stop sipping! 10/10

Amazing restaurant! Authentic Mexican food. Everything was delicious. Even the chips and dip, were some of the best that we have ever had. The atmosphere is also awesome. It's modern, mexican, and classy elegant. From the custom light fixtures, to the LED back-lit bar wall and bar-top, it is all so inviting and just exudes class. As for the food, we had the Anejo Sampler, Anejo Nachos, and the Anejo Trio Fajita. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Anejo Sampler. We weren't expecting there to be so much food for an appetizer. There is nothing wrong with that, but I think we would have just ordered the appetizer by itself had we known the portion size because between my wife and daugher and I, we got full just off the Anejo Sampler. Advice to anyone thinking of getting the Sampler, it is a large enough portion for 2 people for sure! The issue we had was that my wife asked for a Chile Relleno, but apparently the server heard "Nachos"? I don't know how that happened, but regardless the nachos were delicious. Overall, value for price, this place is top tier. Highly recommend, and will absolutely be coming back!

A true hidden gem! I don’t usually eat Mexican food, but Anejo really impressed me. The food is very good, fresh, and full of flavor. Even my Mexican and Puerto Rican friends who joined me said it’s not exactly “authentic” (like how orange chicken isn’t truly Chinese), but I really enjoyed it. The environment is welcoming, and this was already my second visit. I also noticed a big difference between lunch and dinner—the dinner portions and flavors were much better, while lunch felt lighter and less consistent. You definitely get what you pay for, but it would be nice to see the quality more balanced throughout the day. I definitely plan to return again to try more dishes.

I'm a very big fan of high-end Mexican restaurants and this may be one of the best I've ever had! We ordered the capital ceviche and it was hands down best ceviche we've had out. We also ordered two different versions of chile rellenos, the mahi-mahi tacos, and carne asada which were all phenomenal. Can't wait to go back!

Gorgeous restaurant with delicious food. Excellent chips and salsa to start . I ordered the Anejo Mule with fresh citrus and mint. The fajitas had fresh vegetables with all the sides including guac!

Had an amazing experience at Añejo Cocina! The food was full of flavor, and everything came out fast and fresh. The chicharrón guacamole was definitely a highlight—so delicious and unique! Service was friendly and efficient, making the whole visit super enjoyable. Drinks were tasty and well-made, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Can’t wait to go back!

My server Viviana is a joy! The food is impeccable. I had the chicken and steak fajitas with shredded cheese added. The flavors were exquisite, citrusy, and multi dimensional. The chicken and steak are melt-in-your-mouth tender. The bean dip and the passion fruit margarita are also fantastic. No notes! I’ve found my new go-to spot!

We are so excited that Añejo has officially opened its doors right here in our Hunters Creek neighborhood--finally! Let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. From the moment you walk in, you're hit with major wow factor. This place is gorgeous. Think modern Mexican vibes with artistic flair--tile mosaics underfoot, a stunning bar centerpiece, and even a tucked-away saloon-style corner to the right. It's the kind of place you immediately start planning to bring your friends to, just to show it off. And the food? It completely lives up to the ambiance. My husband is a chimichanga enthusiast, and this one stopped him in his tracks--it came shaped like a perfectly puffed pouch, bursting at the seams with juicy, flavorful shredded chicken. He took one bite, declared it one of the best he's ever had, and then promptly ordered another one to-go. No joke. I was in the mood for something crunchy and light, and our amazing server, Thamara (shoutout to her kindness and great suggestions!) recommended the taquitos. She nailed it! Crispy, golden perfection topped with just the right sprinkle of Cotija cheese and a dollop of fresh guacamole--chef's kiss. Let's talk chips and salsa: crunchy, fresh, and not overly salted (a rare combo!). We couldn't stop munching. And the horchata? So good. Smooth, not overly sweet, and spiced with just the right touch of cinnamon--exactly how horchata should be done. Even on a Tuesday afternoon, the place was buzzing with happy diners, which says a lot. It already feels like a community favorite in the making. The only tiny note I'd mention was the guac had a slightly vinegary tang--but honestly, that's just splitting hairs. It didn't stop me from polishing it off. All in all, Añejo gets a full FIVE STARS from us. Amazing service, unforgettable food, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Can't wait to return for a full night out with friends--and dive even deeper into the menu. Welcome to the neighborhood, Añejo. We're obsessed already.

I ordered takeout on a whim because of the location and good reviews. Food was made quickly and tasted fantastic! They included chips and salsa in the takeout order and it was fresh and delicious. When I walked inside the atmosphere was inviting and really cute! Everyone I dealt with was very nice! I will absolutely be coming back with my husband to sit down and enjoy another great meal!! Glad to have found this place!

This place was great. From the decor to the food it was a time well spent with family. I had the cucumber margarita and my husband had the coconut. Delicious! I shared the sampler with my son and we barely could finish. My husband enjoyed the Mocajete and enjoyed every bite. Thanks to the waiter, she was awesome. Great experience!

We Ordered a Burrito and it was literally a wrap and the flavor lets say it was not all there.. we also had Birria Tacos mehh i’ve tasted way better borrias with much more flavor… we went on a Saturday around 2 pm it was not full at all and the also beers where hot. I would give a second try maybe … so keep u posted if they redeem their flavor.

If you want to eat a club with really loud music, then this is a place for you. It wasn't very busy when we arrived, but the bartender had to come seat us, and that was just the start of our really slow service. When our food finally came out, they forgot to bring silverware, and we just sat there until finally, we ended up going to go grab some. Getting our check took just as long, and by that time a line had formed out the door and there was still no hostess. The waitresses were nowhere to be seen. I will say the food was very good, but it wasn't so great that it is worth waiting for service like this. They were playing really loud music the entire time, it made you feel like you were in a club and you had to yell to speak. Looks like this could be a really great resteraunt if the focus on better service.

I’ve ordered takeout here twice. The first time, the service at pickup was pretty bad and made me feel like I was bothering them. The second time, I called more than 10 times and no one answered, and a few calls were even hung up. How you’re supposed to order during a lunch break?The food is good, but the service is really disappointing. Waiting for someone to take my order more than 5 minutes.
