Went for lunch and the food was delicious. Inviting atmosphere, clean, and fantastic customer service. Will be returning!
This place is wonderful, authentic peruvian food, with flavor that makes you feel like you are eating at home, very cozy. Andrea, the server was amazing, polite and knowledgeable with the plates. Highly recommended, come and experience peruvian food in Orlando.
Lomo saltado, the best! Chicken soup was very tasty and substancious. Ceviche was quite delicious. This is for long one of the best Peruvian cuisines in Orlando. 100% recommended.
Wow, the food here is delicious! I had the pollo a la brasa, ceviche, huancaina and arroz chaufa. Everything was on point. Please try their food. I am looking forward to going back to try different dishes. I didn't eat in, but the ladies there were super friendly. I'm definitely going back. Oh, btw don't forget the sauces for the chicken; it's a must! 😋
One of the best Peruvian food I've had in Orlando. Great service and all the staff are very friendly. I would definitely go back!
Best octopus I’ve had!!! All the food was excellent!! Carlos and Pedro was super kind!
I would definitely go back! The service and food were super good
Delicious food. Friendly staff. I love getting lunch here!
I came with my husband and we order ceviche mixto, papas a la huancaina and arroz con mariscos and WOW, in summary, what a wonderful place to eat! The ceviche was perfectly marinated in lime. I would come back everyday to repeat again. Andrea was our server, she was amazing, really great service. We loved the food and and the service!
I just wanted to say that this place is absolutely amazing! I love Peruvian food and it’s hard to find good Peruvian food here in Orlando. This place is authentic. The pollo a la brasa is the best Peruvian chicken I’ve ever had in Orlando. The service was amazing too! The inside looks so beautiful with all the decorations! They even have DoorDash and Uber which is nice because I don’t live that close to them. Would recommend this place 100%! If you know about food, then you’ll love this place!
From the moment we stepped into Cayjo Peruvian Cuisine, we knew we were in for a treat! The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of character, setting the perfect tone for our meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Now, let's talk about the food—WOW! The flavors were out of this world. We started with the Ceviche and it was the freshest, most flavorful I've ever had—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of tang. For the main course, I opted for the Lomo Saltado, and it did not disappoint. The stir-fried beef was so tender and savory, paired with perfectly seasoned fries and rice. Every bite felt like a celebration of Peruvian cuisine. Overall the best Peruvian restaurant in the Orlando area.
Amazing! Hands down the best Peruvian food in all of Orlando. The service from Andrea was absolutely outstanding — her recommendations, her warmth, and her contagious energy hit the mark perfectly. The food itself was beyond exceptional. The presentation of the chaufa and the pescado a lo macho was stunning, and the flavors lived up to every bit of that visual promise. Each bite was a true delight for the palate — bold, balanced, and bursting with authentic Peruvian soul. I was just passing through Orlando, but this place turned an ordinary stop into an unforgettable experience. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Truly memorable.
Cozy Peruvian resto in the Metrowest area. Food was good and ambience was nice for the area. Close to the corner of Hiawassee and old winter garden road.
Wow. Food was amazing authentic peruvian, staff great, very clean place. Our server Andrea very sweet and friendly. Recommend 100%.
The service here is so excellent, I couldn’t not write a review. Meals are well priced lots of options. I’m not sure I’ve had friendlier service in Orlando. Fast, accommodative, and pleasant. Personal recommendations de pollo, ceviche mixto, leche de Tigre pescado. I wish my Spanish was better to be able to tell them how much I appreciated their service and quality of food
This is one of the best peruvian places in Orlando, and we have tried many!!! Andrea gave us recommendations on what to order and now i trust her 100% because everything exceeded our expectations. Star of the show was the grilled octopus, wow, great flavor. We also ordered the sampler, with fish ceviche, lomo saltado and chicken Chaufa, soooo good too. Service excellent, thanks Andrea!
Love this place! Great service. Nice atmosphere. Loved the ceviche, grilled octopus in chimichurri, tostones and all their sauces. Some places are stingy with their sauces but not here. We told the waitress we love sauces and she brought out a whole tray for us to try and she also gave us great recommendations. Great experience. We will definitely be back!
Amazing food! Our party each had a different meal and all of them were so good. The staff and owners were very welcoming and the atmosphere of the restaurant is great. I will definitely be returning and would recommend it to all my friends.
Super nice place, great atmosphere and best pollo a la brasa I’ve tried in Florida so far. I will definitely comeback every time we are in town. Try getting the arroz Chaufa along with the pollito and you’ll get a great mostrito experience (Only for Peruvian connoisseurs🧐😹)Thank you Cayjo!

Love this place!! Best Peruvian cuisine around. Staff is so friendly and attentive and best of all the owners are Peruvian and always welcome you with open arms. I highly suggest visiting this place!! 10 stars. ⭐️

Came in for lunch and was shocked at the quality of food and for the price you cannot beat it. Delicious ceviche app and a whole plate of fish and seafood for 15.99 Definitely will return when I'm in the area. Worth the price and superb taste.
My friend and I are so happy to have found this place. Food was delicious, service was great. The prices are the best thing. They have two different lunch special prices each with different dishes to choose from and a soda can is included. I had causa de pollo with lomo saltado, and my friend had papas a la huancaina with arroz chaufa. Big portions+great flavor. We will definitely go back.
Today my wife and I had the absolute surprising pleasure of eating at Cayjo. The shrimp ceviche was the best we’ve tried in all of Orlando. The Lomo Saltado was cooked to perfection. You can taste the quality in the food, portions size were just the right amount. Service was on point and very friendly. This will be a restaurant that will be visited over and over again, happily will be going back.
An absolute gem! This spot delivers authentic Peruvian flavors with heart. I had the Ceviche Clasico, which was incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced, followed by the Chaufa (tried both the steak and chicken) and every bite was amazing. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, and the staff made us feel right at home—truly welcoming and pleasant service. If you're looking for great food and a great vibe, this is the place to be! Highly recommend."
Went with a friend and it was great! The waiter was kind and attentive. The lunch specials are great!! For 15 or 12 dollars you can get an appetizer and an entree with soda. It was filling.
This was our second time visiting this restaurant and once again, we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the ceviche, which is consistently fresh and flavorful, and the chaufa mixto—its flavor was truly out of this world. The service was amazing and very fast. We live an hour and a half away, and we would definitely make the trip again. Highly recommend!
Honestly, this is hands down one of the best Peruvian restaurants we’ve ever been to. From the first bite, you could taste how fresh everything was — vibrant flavors, perfectly cooked dishes, and seasoning that was spot on. Every plate felt thoughtfully made, not rushed. Absolutely delicious from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was excellent. A little warm in there and they didn't have a menu? Seems they remodeled recently. Nice place but the a.c. was a little weak.
We went based on a local’s recommendation, as they mentioned the food here is of very high quality—and that day we were in the mood to try something different. The food definitely deserves 5 stars: the lomo saltado, papa a la huancaína and both the fish and mixed ceviche were excellent. The only thing I’d suggest is better training for the customer service staff. The person who served us asked a lot of questions after we had already ordered and seemed unsure of herself. The person told us to be patient because it was their 1st day—but later, as we were leaving, …said it was actually their 3rd day. So the explanation felt inconsistent and not very reassuring. The attitude was friendly, but the service didn’t quite reach that level of excellence that matches the quality of the food. Everything else was great. I would definitely go back for the food—but if I see the same person serving, I might just head back out through the front door.
I totally recommend it. I recently dined at CAYJO and had an absolutely delightful experience! The ambiance was charming and inviting, setting the perfect tone for the evening. The service was exceptional; our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, each dish was a masterpiece of flavors and presentation. The ingredients were fresh, and the attention to detail was evident in every bite. I particularly loved the filet mignon, which was bursting with bold flavors and perfectly cooked. Overall, it was a truly memorable dining experience, and I can't wait to return!"🔥 5 starts Price $25 average

As a local, I have been interested in trying this place for a while. The first time I went, there was a pungent smell, which I assumed was a septic issue, so I was turned off from ordering. Decided to give it another try. The smell was better, so I decided to order. The service was phenomenal, the restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean, but the food was a complete disappointment.
This review will be in conjunction to Wintry Bongo's. Because after reading your reply to his review, I find it important to clarify several points as there are "clear discrepancies" between your denials/assumptions and our experience. Firstly, no one said we visited that day, but nice try I guess trying to use reverse psychology so you can correctly identify us?? How bold of you to simply not accept your restaurant fell off for a day, but to accuse someone of lying because your pride can't accept your rice WAS bland and steak WAS chewy? And the server WAS in fact on her phone. I don't care what nonsense you spew. You could have easily used his review as a learning experience, take it to the chin and provide overall better services. But no, you doubled down to speaking on a charge that was not communicated upon acceptance of the card, inconsistent quality of food (as our reviews wouldn't be poor if what you're saying is true) and randomly using someone's order to "make your case". Your reply alone would deter me from ever visiting or returning. This is not the mindset of a business I'd want to invest my time and money into.
8/25/25 I was extremely disappointed with my experience trying to order from this restaurant. To start, the female employee hung up on me three separate times before actually answering the phone, which was already unprofessional and frustrating. Their hours online (including Google) clearly state they close at 9:00, this was on a Monday. yet when I finally got through at 7:40, I was told they stop taking online orders at 8:00. That explanation made no sense because I still had 20 minutes before that supposed cutoff, and I even told her I could be there within 10 minutes. Instead of honoring that, she said (in Spanish) that sometimes people order online and don’t pick up the food, which completely confused me and left me thrown off guard. That should not be projected onto paying customers who are clearly making the effort to call ahead. To make matters worse, she then suddenly mentioned there was an “oven issue,” which felt like a last-minute excuse to convince me not to order. It honestly seemed like she just didn’t want to take another order and wanted to close early. The explanations were inconsistent, dismissive, and unprofessional. the entire interaction felt more like calling someone’s house than a legitimate business. In the end, I never even got the chance to try their food because of how poorly the situation was handled. If this is how they treat new customers, I won’t be returning.
They do not honor their lunch special. They have a flyer in the store that says Monday to Thursday 12pm-3pm they have a Lunch Special for $13.99. I tried to place an order at 2:30pm today (Tuesday) for the lunch special and they refused to honor their own special. First they said it ended, then I pointed out the time. Then they said the item I wanted, the Lomo Saltado, was not on the lunch special, but here it is. She literally straight up lied to my face while I had the flyer in my hand. I attached the exact flyer from their store today. Their food is good, but I refuse to support a deceptive business. The best part? It would have been my third day in a row eating there.
Tried to go this past Monday, April 14. Google showed the restaurant open and we were on that side of town which is far from where we live. We arrived at the restaurant and the hours on the door clearly said open Mondays, closed Tuesdays. When I peaked into the door, there was a woman in the far back that signaled “no” to me, meaning they were closed. So disappointing as we really wanted to try this restaurant. I would advise them to keep closer tabs on their hours, both on Google and on their door.
Not even close to a peruvian restaurant. The chaufa was bland. Non seasoned chicken, chewy and over cooked steak. You are better off mixing some rice with soy sauce and it's gonna taste better. The yucas frita was an appetizer for a 3 year old that already had its meal. Couple small pieces with the worse Huancaina sauce I've ever tasted. The rocoto sauce? 0/5. Service 1/5. Lady on phone most of the time and with only 2 tables occupied in the whole restaurant it took almost an hour to get our food. Also, careful with the extra charges if you pay with credit card. One more to the no go list of "Peruvian" places that wanna charge the premium with 0 quality and service.
I ordered take out for ají de gallina and chicken saltado. When I picked it up they gave me 2 chicken saltado and did not give me the ají de gallina. When I went back and told them the lady said “oh we don’t have aji de gallina (even though it’s on the menu) so we just have you two of the chicken saltado”. The lady didn’t even explain that to me when I picked it up. She just stood there looked at me like I was stupid or something. I was speechless like uhh ok. She didn’t even ask me if that was ok, offer me a refund or exchange! Never coming back to this place. Rediculous!
feeling quite disappointed. I ordered two dishes to take home and paid $40 + tips for both that were mostly rice with seasoning and very little meat. I was expecting a flavorful and hearty meal, characteristic of Peruvian cuisine, but what I received was far from satisfactory. The portions were lacking in protein, and the overall presentation and taste did not justify the price.
