This was my first time ordering. I was a little skeptical. But wow! The food portions were incredible. The service was fast and efficient, and even when I didnt receive a tint add on, she went above and beyond to deliver it again. As for the taste, being a full Nigerian, I can tell you that the taste is incredible. Just like the local vendors in nigeria. Plus, they do platters. I know I wont be cooking as much now that I can order meals for the week.
The Nigerian food was absolutely delicious. Everything was well seasoned, flavorful, and tasted authentic. The spices were rich without being overwhelming, and the portions were very satisfying. You can tell a lot of care went into preparing the meal..I’d definitely order it again
This place is wonderful! From the incubator to this beautiful restaurant! Clean very nice, designed beautifully and exceptional service with a smile. The flavors are wonderful and nice size portions. Worth every dollar! The vibe is unmatched!! Love it here!!
First time ordering and trying this type of food. Omg, the food was awesome, flavorful, different, the peppered chicken drumstick is everything, the portion of food is perfect. I will definitely come back for more.
My husband and I were driving from Orlando to Jacksonville and decided to have lunch on the way. I'm so glad we chose this restaurant. Service was 100%, enjoyed the food and ordered some to-go.
What an absolutely incredible dining experience! I’ve never had anything quite like this before, and the food far exceeded my expectations. My family and I, being adventurous eaters, decided to get one of everything on the menu to try it all, and we were not disappointed! The egusi soup was my favorite, perfectly paired with the goat—a close second. But honestly, every dish was delicious, and we all loved it. I’ve been looking up her food ever since I lived in Alabama and finally had the opportunity to try it—worth the wait! We’re deeply grateful for the amazing flavors and warm hospitality. I even told my Nigerian friend about it, and he’s planning to bring his family soon. This is a must-visit—thank you again for such a wonderful experience!
I recently placed my first delivery order with Delightful Nigerian Cuisine and was thoroughly impressed with the service and packaging. The food arrived warm and intact, and every meal was delicious and met my expectations. This is authentic, spicy, and flavorful Nigerian food! I'm thrilled to have such great options available. Highly recommend!
In Orlando for the summer holidays and felt like eating authentic Nigerian food. Placed my order early on the same day for delivery and when it finally arrived, was not disappointed. The only issue I have hence 3 stars for service is my order was delivered 1 hrs after the time I chose. African time even in the US....

Been wanting to try fufu and egusi so I decided to stop here (Google search near me). My first time having it was NOT a disappointment.. it was sooo delicious! I had the chicken egusi and the chicken fell off the bone. Absolutely loved it! The Jollof rice and dried out buy still flavorful. It seemed it was heated in the microwave. Overall I would visit again when in Orlando.

My family of 4 visited on a Saturday afternoon around 2. We ordered the Joloff rice with goat, Joloff spaghetti with turkey, Fried rice with turkey and plantains, puff puffs, Goat pepperpot soup, and Egusi with Swallow. EVERYTHING was delicious. We found ourselves ordering seconds to take home. My brother in law is Nigerian and deemed this as the most authentic Nigerian cuisine he has experienced in the states. We also enjoyed the kind and thoughtful service of this family owned restaurant. We will definitely be back.
Hands done the Best African Spot in Orlando. And Nigerian Food. I had bought from this place a couple of months ago. Honestly they took very long. But they still get a 5 in my opinion. Why because when I missed my bus , due to the order being late. The owner wanted to buy me an Uber. I declined only because I had already ordered an uber. But that sincere gesture was enough. After having their food. I understand why it takes long, I’ve been to Nigerian spots and tried different things. And I can tell you, their food taste very fresh. It was hot, and delicious. They put care into their food. And I can taste it.
I can spend my money anywhere but customer service is huge for me. I met the owner Nika, she is much like the name of her business Delightful. The food is exceptional and the place is extremely clean. There are not many Nigerian options in Florida and I can say this is the best option. Price, presentation, and customer service, and I drove 2 hours because I only eat at the best. 10/10
This place is truly amazing. The staff is professional, welcoming, and friendly. I came here for the first time and I’m already certain I will be a regular costumer. I haven’t eaten quality Nigeria food in Orlando like this before. Don’t even get me started on the food. Everything was simply lovely. Thank you, it was a memorable experience!
From the warm welcome when you enter the restaurant, the atmosphere, service provided and fresh tasty “big portions” quality of food, they are excellent. The lady/owner is always so nice and humble. This has become my weekly visit when I am craving good Nigerian food. The insulated Togo bags they provide are a plus if you are doing Takeout food. I love this place! 😊
Amazing dining experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for dine-in. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic Nigerian cuisine. Every dish was well-seasoned and served hot, with generous portions. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our visit. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the cooking and the service. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy real Nigerian food in a relaxed, clean, and inviting setting. I’ll definitely be back!
I recently dined at your restaurant and wanted to share what a wonderful experience it was. The food was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Every dish we ordered was prepared beautifully and bursting with flavor. You could taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into each plate. The seasoning was spot-on, and the presentation showed real attention to detail. It’s clear your kitchen team takes pride in their craft. The balance of flavors in each dish was impressive, and everything arrived at our table at the perfect temperature. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Thank you for such a memorable meal. It’s restaurants like yours that make dining out special.
I am absolutely blown away. We had an early dinner at this lovely restaurant on Dec 16. Here are the ratings: Atmosphere 10/10 Service: 100000000/10 Food:1000000000/10 Price: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 It's family owned. The food feels like home cooked. We enjoyed every bite. I had the Amala with ewedu, my husband had the younded yam with efo riro. We sat in but also took some beef suya, puffpuff and chicken suya home. Having eaten in many Nigerian restaurants across the world including in Nigeria, I must say that the foods we ate at Delightful Nigerian restaurant in Orlando Florida take the first prize for flavor, taste. Yum. Please stay on track and continue to create delicious meals. All the best. Highly recommended 👌. We will be back.
I wanted to rate this place five stars. But I took a star away because the food is too spicy. Although Nigerians love spicy food, I think they should give the option of spicy and non spicy because Americans are not used to the spiciness. Besides the spicy, the food was very good. I don't like spicy food but I cleaned my dish , finger licking good! The fish was fresh and the okra was fresh the packaging was aesthetically beautiful. And the carry bags was actually thermal bags to keep the food warm until you get home. The lady that worked there had a beautiful Pleasant attitude very kind-hearted and soft-spoken. I bought three meals and extra okra and extra Fufu, I paid a little over $100. Would I recommend, 100%. Would I come back I don't know because my butt is going to pay for it in the long run when I have to use the restroom it's going to be on fire. If you can take the spice and your looking for fresh African food and not leftovers definitely pay this place a visit because my food was fresh and delicious, spicy but delicious. UPDATE: I went back and ordered more food I just couldn't resist it was so delicious . But what I noticed during my second purchase is that they had tamed the spiciness a bit so it's a little more tolerable.
I just came out of this restaurant, this branch is in Orlando Florida, oh my God, the food is aaammmaazzinngggg! I would not be able to give it anything less than -a 10/10. My kids left nothing on their plate even my picky eater! Please if you find yourself around this area, patronize them. The owner was kind and generous. @delightfulnigeriancuisine you are blessed.

I was super excited to see great West African food in the Orlando area - there are not many! I had Jollof Rice and Stew Fish (~$20) which was very good. I basically had no notes, the rice was on the softer side. So, if you like a crispier/ smoked jollof it won't exactly be that, but is still VERY flavorful. The presentation - even as takeout - was great. I was thoroughly surprised to see my food handed to me in a temperature controlled bag - great decision on the restaurant behalf. My food was still hot despite me being me about 20 minutes late to pick up... You will have to stand outside and ring a doorbell for you food, so if its your concern go during the day, but I did not feel on edge about waiting outside for about 2 minutes. Overall, great food. I am going back to try the other items - if you can get the jollof right, I feel more confident in the rest of the menu!

I’m sorry but respectfully…… I tried to support African so I tried ordering a delivery order at this restaurant I ordered basic fufu and egusi I kid you not my order total was like $49 then I adjusted it for pick up lmao it went down to $45. I can imagine only Nigerians are eating at this restaurant bc who else would bother LMAOO Indians will give you a full plate and 2 naans for $35 with delivery included. Caribbean plates are $20 and they feed you real food to fill up your belly. I need y’all to clam down way beside yourself respectfully.
I was really disappointed with my experience at this Nigerian restaurant. The wait time for the food was extremely long, and the prices were quite high considering the quality of the meals served. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations at all. The fried plantain was very hard and dry, more like chips than properly fried plantain. The fufu was poorly prepared and unpleasant to eat. The egusi soup tasted stale, as though it had been sitting for a long time and then reheated. Overall, the food did not taste fresh. Jollof rice was horrible. It’s shameful to call that a Nigerian Jollof rice🙄 In addition to the food issues, the service felt awkward and unorganized. This experience was especially disappointing because I have had great Nigerian food at another restaurant near downtown Orlando. Based on this visit, I would not recommend this location and do not plan to return. Thank you for the terrible food and disappointing service 😡
