Tip: Be aware that there may be a language barrier. Some reviewers recommend knowing some Spanish or being prepared to point at what you want. Check prices against the menu.
This spot was empty when I walked in, however I got here on time for the special 6-10pm two Mongo for the price of one. 1. Shrimp 2. Steak I highly recommend it if you love Dominican food. I will be returning.
Always a wonderful time each visit, greeted with warm welcomes, smiles, easy to navigate, delicious dishes, can build from available options, surprisingly affordable, music not too low, nor too loud. Just an altogether pleasing experience, definitely a must try that I highly recommend based off of my experiences. Will definitely be going back again my next available opportunity.
They must've changed the chef because lately the food has been much better. Chicken empanadas a little dry but flavorful, beef was kind of dry but didnt wow me. Surprisingly the cheese empanada was the best one, juicy and filled, also flavorful. Their pork chops are AMAZING. The fried swai fish is flavored but a little to heavy on the flavor that ot dodnt go with the rice and beans together but it will still hot the spot.
Staff was amazing. Atmosphere was good. Good food portions. Taste was good as well. Morir soñando was off the chain.
Sazoncito latin food has gone through a great renovation . Enough space to have a good time while enjoying great food, drinks and ambiance! Shout out to the owners who make sure their guest are having a great time. Highly recommended #toasttoyou
What a great find this place was! It’s set up as a buffet style. You walk around and tell them what you want on your plate. The food was amazing, definitely one of the better Latin places I’ve ate in the Orlando area.
Huge portions and super tasty! Definitely helps to know some Spanish but the girls were really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend. $21 for three huge meals (2 sides and 1 meat).
I had a wonderful experience Jammie our server was so nice she accommodated all our request and the food was amazing defiantly will be coming back

Great food!! Huge portions and the prices are reasonable. The staff are very pleasant and patient. This is my new favorite place for comfort food.
I've been here quite a few times and this place never disappoints! Their mofongo is always made fresh and is so authentic. I've tried it with their churrasco and camarones al ajillo.. It's tough to pick a favorite! Price for this quality of food is unbeatable as well.
Latin buffet food is always a toss up but this place exceeds any pollo de La plancha I have ever had! Tostones are flawlessly cooked to perfection and selection is gigantic!
The food is fresh and good variety.the atmosphere is friendly and the lady that serves the food had a great smile .they can also cook anything that you want that is not ready and hot to eat..I recommend the fish..
I am from New York around the area where there is a Dominican Restaurant within a mile. My family and I was visiting Orlando and we was craving Dominican food as we are from there. It was a Saturday night and we were the only one there and only 1 yound lady was serving all 6 of us. We had a large order so it was understandable tht it took a little too long, but the food made up for it. Every bite was well seasoned. I ordered a Mofongo con pechuga alajillo 👌. We heard music and loud music in the back area, we wanted to join but we ddnt feel too inviting since we wasn't from the area we ddnt want to intrude felt likenit was just access to locals. The 1 younglady serving us did the best she can with us and dealing with customers coming in and out.
Was great . Food was delicious and the service was on point . Thanks Sazoncito. I’ll be back when I come back up to Orlando ….Rico . Rico….
The Best Caribbean Food in Orlando. My wife hooked me up with this place and now when we tried from another places always regrets for. Sazoncito Restaurant 300% Recommended. They treat you as family 🥰 Dalma & Jose
I've been coming here for the past two years and living in FL since 2017. So far this restaurant has never disappointed. The best Dominican food in Orlando, FL 🙏☺️
I visited this place for first time and the place is very clean, workers are attentive and very nice to walk ins. Food is very good, we plan to visit again on the near future. Highly recommend
Came down for an event and found this restaurant. Great service with no waiting. Food is on point. Did want to put the fork down. I drove 30 minutes for event and it was worth it.
The food is excellent every time I visit from NY I always stop here great customer service very highly recommended.
Best place to go eat. We were their 4 times in a 2 week vacation and the food was very good. We will stop their again when we go back down to Orlando Florida
Best Spanish restaurant around town. Great service, Family atmosphere, above all great tasting food. Try it you won't retreat it!
I reallllyyyyy enjoy this little hole in the wall spot!! Everytime I go, I try a different dish and it never MISSES!!! It's delicious, well seasoned and amazing portions. The other day they had a "Daily Special" and it happened to be pastelon....... but wait 4 it.... shaped in a PILON!!! it was like a monfongo/pastelon!!! It was sooooooo pretty with mozzarella melted on top! The beef was stuffed in the center!! Greatest pastelon I've had in a while!!!!!
OMG!!! Listen, when I tell you I was trying to figure out how to put the cook in my suitcase!!! The food is the bomb. Our waitress thought her English sucked but she was amazing!! If you want authentic, this is the place to visit!!!
🔥 this is by far one of the most delicious Dominican food you can find in Orlando. This place is close to the airport and the food is fresh❤️ I fell in love with everything that we order. Portions are good and price is affordable 🫶🏼 Highly recommend A+
The food is always delicious and the prices are great. Our server was attentive and accommodating to our needs. We started with two for lunch and left with dinner for three. All under $100.
Awesome food, great service, a must have Spanish cuisine if in Orlando Airport area
Are you on the fence about ordering from here?? Well, let me help: DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!!! I honestly can't speak highly enough of this place! I'm sitting in the comfort of my own home eating what I think is the best Latin food I could find, and it's so close! I never leave reviews, but this place has blown me away! It reminds me of what our family friend used to make when I was a kid.. it's a good kind of comfort food!! I use door dash frequently for this place, and my only suggestion is to maybe include more photos of what is what on the menu available there. I am not blessed to be a fluent Spanish speaker, so I use Google translate to translate what the dishes are. I'm fairly open minded to what I try, but have a simple palette. I feel seeing what each dish is from the restaurant would help me try new things!! I also am not too familiar with many Latin dishes, so that's another reason. After this pandemic, I literally CAN NOT wait to go here in person!! To the chefs, the management, and everything that makes this place?? Literally you're the BEST keep it up!!! -- Raine, Conway area.
Beautiful women, fresh yummy food, cool festive atmosphere. I truly recommend! The food was very well seasoned and the staff were super receptive and ready to serve! Family friendly place as well with light Latin music to go with the delicious food!
Great food here. I was one of the first customers watched this place open. Let's say you better speak Spanish cause they aren't speaking much English but the food speaks for itself and it's amazing. Highly recommend this place and you get more for your money also. Never had a bad experience here.
First time in this restaurant...looking for some good mangu. I have to say is the best I have tasted by far. I drove 25 minutes and I have to say it was worth my ride👌👏 a little pricey HOWEVER like in every other place thanks to the PANDEMIC 💯💯. The mangu was amazing and the fish as well!! Kudos to the chef🙏👏
Excellent my host Jamie so professional that I recommend everyone. No joke! Excellent restaurant and excellent service. Thank you Jamie, with my family was excellent and more than expected. Thanks!
Karoke nite tonight and coronas. Very very cold
I miss my home every day, but each time I'm here it just brings me back. Excellent food, and service. It's a great place and enough food on your plate to eat twice. Love it!
Great place to eat the food is fresh and the waitress was very nice! The portion was excellent I ordered a tray of fried chicken, with all the meats, sausage, fried cheese , fried pork postpones a side salad with lettuce and tomatoes and fries with plantains. Enough for 3 to 4 people. Highly recommend this place! 1st time there.
Great food, chill atmosphere, fair prices!
Very fine and tasty foods, Wonderful Service...

The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the menu is outdated and the first impression was not too positive. But I have to say, the food was delicious and the portions are good. The waitress was pleasant and helpful. It was Saturday, so they had a dj/host (Victor Po) from 8pm to 12m doing karaoke and everyone had lots of fun. It certainly is a favorite spot for adults due to the sport bar/restaurant atmosphere.
Great choice if you are looking to buy Dominican food. Buffet style food with lots of options. Prices are decent and the food is always fresh and yummy.

The food is great. However, the place could use a face-lift. The service is good, albeit, slow.
First time I went there food was awesome. Good customer service....but waitress took way too long to bring our drinks and then the food took too long. Dont know why?? There was not that many people and food is already cooked nothing needs to be prepared except the mofongos. Overall it was very tasty and good portions for the price. I would definitely recommend it and go back. Thx
I really enjoy the food here. The food looks fresh, and they give you a good portion of food for a good price. I was skeptical at first, but after the first try, I'm a returning customer.
If you don't speak Spanish beware There are a couple of new servers there and gave me a really hard time with my order...I ordered the chicken stew and she gave two small pieces and I stated it's three we went back and forth and then she says ok but a secret and I stated there's no secret this the way it always been I've been coming here since 2016 and that's what's it's been so then I ordered yucca with my chicken and she charged me extra I was not getting rice and I asked why she said she did not know so I told her she has confused me 😔 so i then stated ok just put rice on ..then I got the chicken separate and she put three pieces without a problem.....I also ordered a soup and got no rice with it...this was the worse experience I have had and I come here often..I was not excited to eat the food as in the past...also they do not have any pricing posted so you do not know what the amount is until the total at the register ....
Food was good but the place was sooo loud from extremely loud music that we couldn't even talk to each other so ate as fast as possible and left. We were the only ones at the restaurant at one point and asked if they could please turn it down and they said they could not, we were two moms with 2 small children.. only reason why we stayed was because there wasn't any other place open that late and we were really in the mood for Latin food.!
This place is been here for a few years now. They even expanded the selection of food. Good size for your buck and tasty!
Service is not that great. When you ask for a chicken soup. They do not want to give you the chicken in the soup they are very stingy. I don't understand why they would want to give you chicken soup without the chicken. They are not friendly.
The restaurant smells little moldy. Food was excellent. I could feel the mold smell from the structure.
Their rice was on point but their beans were on the salty side for sure. Yuca was very good. Not too bad for a to go plate.
My family had a lot of food. We had several of the specials they had. I wasn't a fan of the spaghetti dish, however, the fish, pork, rice and beans were perfect. Also, we had the fried blue cheese/meat appetizer. Loved them! The waitress was so sweet. Definitely 2nd best latin food of all the places tried. Rice and Beans in Spring Hill, FL is the first. Would certainly go back when in the area.
they have a bar music dinning tables staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu food was a 10/10 I had a picadera, white rice beans and patitas. Price was also great for what we ordered.
Food was delicious and they had a variety of choices (buffet style). We had fried fish, beef stew, white rice and beans and yellow rice mixed with green beans (moro). Comes with a side salad (greens or elbow salad) which was a plus. Also fairly priced.
Beautiful staff, and exceptional service despite any language barrier. Great food great service. My only suggestion would be to heat the baked chicken more because I can still taste the fridge or reheat the taste.
This place is located in a strip mall. Its not fancy. They took a bit of time to serve the food. But when it came we ate it up. It was sooooo good. We had the fried platter for 2. It was so good i took the leftovers home and ate it the next day.
We drove from Texas to Orlando. Searched Dominican Food and Sazonzito came up. I have to say the food was very good with really big portions. The atmosphere was ok and the service was pretty good. The girls were very friendly. Plates were $12 which is really good for the portions. One last thing, I always measure a restaurant’s cleanliness by how clean the bathrooms are. The women’s bathroom was so so!!
Fri &/ or Saturday night is awesome latin Kareoke with DJ Victor Po. Only negative they don't have a liquor license so no bar. Just beers and cheap wine
The food was very good. There was a bit of a language barrier, and for the most part, we just pointed at what we wanted. Staff was friendly, just English was not their first language. I'm not sure how the whole thing works. The food is set up like a buffet, but they serve it, but on the other hand, people came in and sat down and were served by a waiter. Not much of an atmosphere or theme to the place. Chairs and tables are a bit old. But food was good so I have no problem going back.

This place is a good place for fast food if your in a rush! They have a buffet style table which you can find two or three differnt styles of rice four or five different proteins (meats) the offer always at least one vegan plate.. Two or the differnt salads .. The food is average price.. Typically 7-9 dollars per plate. They do offer plates made to order if you would like. Music and dancing is offered at night... They close at 2am every NIGHT.. But at that time they only have made to order.. Must add the steak and onions is amazing!!
Food was not so great, ribs were tuff and dry. Chicken was bland as well as the rice and beans, tried their sancocho but was disappointed. Giving a 3 star because at least staff was nice and place looked clean.
Coming from Perth Amboy NJ full of DR restaurants this place is ok, guandules were good, rice ok, but chicken was cold and under seasoned, will try their mofongo next time I'm down in orl area
Great variety of freshly made ready to be served latin food to choose from or you can special order from their menu. Flavor is authentic and portions are above average; You will definitively leave satisfied.
The food is amazing! I've been here 5x yet every time, the customer service is abysmal. It doesn't matter if I tip or have manners, there's this short chick that rolls her eyes and walks away every time I order. They all have the worst attitude except one lady. It really makes me not want to return but the sanchocho is so damn good!! So is the goat and oxtail when they have it.
Checked out this spot and it honestly felt more like a sports bar than a restaurant. Food was pretty underwhelming, and the place was nearly empty. Not quite what I expected.

The food here is great! However, the service layout is extremely confusing. If they decided to work on their service, improved their signage, they will be in business for a long time.
Well I was craving some Spanish food so I Google :Spanish food near me" this was one of the few that popped up. Maybe I went too late or just at the wrong time, but the music was so loud the the girl who didn't understand English couldn't hear me. I wanted roasted pork but what was left was all dried out so I got ribs instead. The food was ok. I'm sure I probably won't go again.
Came to the restaurant for the first time today 6.2.24 at around 4:30-5pm and order beef empanadas as an appetizer and they gave me the wrong ones(got cheese only) , service was very slow ( there were only 3 other tables besides us) and I also order food to go and my order came with beans, when I got home there were no beans. Music was super loud food was just ok. Never got an apology for the error or willingness to correct the error!! Definitely will not come back!!!
They have changed their menu. No more buffet, and now you pay a higher price for little food. The salad was missing croutons and cheese. This was a simple Caesar salad with grilled chicken.
Order dinner today and was rather disappointed. I have had the small picadera mix for two before and it was great, it seems since is a pic-up order situation and you are not going to see the food till you get home this happened. To order this plate i suggest you just get yourself an order of fried chicken. My husband and I eat here often but this will no longer be the case. Food taste great but I think how this happened was dishonest because it was take out. You are not provided with what the plate is meant to bring, it looks more like an order of fried chicken since this is mostly what you will get. Fried chicken, fried chicken skin, 3 pieces of cheese, about 3 pieces of pork and two of salami.. I’m here still trying to figure out what happened to the longaniza. Aaaah and fried plantains . Lol
Honestly this place is just okay, if you live in the area and want Spanish food then sure. My first experience at this restaurant was poor. The music was so loud for such a small restaurant, you couldn’t hear the server or the rest of your party. The server and bartender is the same person, she was trying her best but honestly no one can do two positions and be attentive to paying customers. Food was mediocre, nothing was amazing. I had churrasco had requested medium rare and the churrasco was made well done. I didn’t send the meal back since I was already waiting an hour for my food and so was the rest of my party. Slowly everyone received their food expect for one person in the party who received their food after everyone already had eaten. My party didn’t understand the slow service the restaurant wasn’t packed and there was only a few people at the bar. Overall this was my first and last time going to this restaurant.

Service was horrible! Asked them for a breakfasts plate with my eggs to be cook hard and had to return the eggs 3 times that the lady was giving me bad looks and only gave me half of my money back!!! Never going back!
We ordered about an hour before closing. Stale, pre-cooked fries that were hard as a rock. A side of beans that was all liquid and just a spoonful of pintos (I presumed they didn’t 86 the item and instead chose to sell what little they had left). You can tell they are buying the cheapest meats and taking horrible shortcuts that were obvious in the poor food quality. There are many awesome Hispanic restaurants in the area: this isn’t one of them.
I believe this restaurant is Racist. I visited here with my husband and kids during a visit to Orlando. I am a dark skinned Puerto Rican woman, my husband and kids are brown as well. My husband is actually Jamaican. We walk in and off rip the employees were all staring at us. Initially I thought it was just me but later realized everyone noticed we were being stared at!!! When I started speaking Spanish to order my food I was stared at even more. No one wanted to attend to us except for one tall lady who was very nice. Another man who worked there was eating with his friends when we walked in and him along with his friends sat there and stared at us. We were so uncomfortable we packed our food and left. I have so much family in Orlando. Boriquas at that who love Spanish food but none us will ever visit here again. Thanks for giving me my teen as well as my family a hard lesson about Racism!!!
Waitresses donr care about the customer. I'd asked for a water and it took her 15 minutes to get it. She was more into talking to her friend
I’m white my sister is brown we are both HISPANIC. But I am blonde. The ladies kept acting like they didn’t understand my Spanish but heard my sister just fine. Skip this place foods not anything out of the ordinary and not worth the embarrassment.
Everytime you go it's a different price for the same thing you ordered last time. Then if your Spanish you automatically get served first no matter if you were there before them. Won't get my money again.
Leaving this review in hopes that you avoid this place instantly gave me food poisoning threw up within two hours.
Waiste of time! i have ordered a mofongo with camarones and took more than 30 minutes! Asked tje gentleman how long it will take and he told me 15 minutes. Total LIE. Very unhappy.
Food use to be good. Something happened. Sad. All you can do is try it. You might have a good day. Service has always been friendly.
The food was salty, not flavorful, the place needed to be inviting, and there wasn't a lot of selection to order. It can do better for the name of the place.
Today is a sad day, it seem they don’t realize that people used to go there because the food was not necessarily good but done fast and cheap. Now they are trying to re shape the place as an upscale restaurant/bar and dude they lost me and all my work place as customers. The place still looks cheap they are just changing the way they take your order and how the food is delivered. Instead of a fast buffet like now you need to seat for them to take your order and you know now you need to pay tip, then prices also went up cuz they are a a coffe place that indemnifies themselves as an upscale bar and restaurant.
I stopped by here a few days ago at lunch time. We were the only ones in the whole place. Food was decent so decided to stop by today and get bistec encebollado to go. The steak was a very thick cut, over cooked and hard. I could barely chew it. The rice and beans were decent but had to throw the meal out because of of how bad the steak was. Won’t be going back to this place when we visit Orlando again. It’s sad because I’m Dominican and wanted a taste of home Before heading back to Texas.
Just fyi the prices on the menu are not the real prices, they’ll charge you something completely different and tell you that they have new prices now which im sure is ilegal. They are rude when you ask clarifications on the significant price increase. The food is honestly not good and theres a big chance they'll mess your order a couple times so i do not recommend
OMG I honestly do not know how the reviews are good, the food was completely ATROCIOUS. I mean actually inedible. The meat was so tough, the tostones were soooo dry, plantains were not cooked. There was no flavor in anything AT ALL, the meat tasted like it was boiled. This is probably the worst food I have ever tasted in my entire life.
It's a shame, excellent food, but their portions just got ridiculous. Ordered a large chicken sancocho, lady insults me by putting 1 small piece of chicken, for a large, if it was a small no problem but a large, what if I was sharing with someone, horrible, went back, told the owner to keep her food and the money, money is now the issue, the customer service is. I love their food but one bad apple took a customer away for good.
the food is GREAT. but the manager who was male, spanish light skin, asked a gentle man a few skin tone darker then him to leave. he ASSUMED the man was not going to buy anything but in reality he was on his phone calling his family to see what they wanted to eat. the manager is a coward if you ask me. I won’t be spending money here if there employees will profile individuals based on there skin color.
Don’t even waste your time here if you are of a different skin tone than they are and don’t speak Spanish. I walked in twice tonight at 8pm and was told they close at 11. They had no food ready to serve except pork, when I asked about chicken I was given a dreaded response and told it would take 20 minutes to prepare chicken. I didn’t see the problem as it was still 2.5 hours before closing. Everyone sitting around staring and talking in Spanish was very rude and I got the impression they didn’t want my business. I have come before and the food was ok but I will not come back because they have no understanding of what customer service is. It’s 2022, let’s try to be inclusive of all who patronize your business.
TERRIBLE SERVICE!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
Food from far away looks delicious but once you get closer you can tell the rice was old, poor customer service, not so welcoming attitude. This use to be reaally good i don't know what happened hope do fix it customer service is horrible
The dark-haired waitress, I think her name is Amber, she is a super rude person and has bad service. I asked for a mofongo and she was very unhelpful and arrogant.
I ordered some chicharrón and it was awful, it was like they took the pork out of the refrigerator and without any seasoning fried them and the fat part that is supposed to be crispy it was soggy. I told the server and she said you were supposed to tell me when I brought it, meanwhile I was eating from another plate and when I try them it was the worse chicharrón that I ever tried. The server took it back, didn’t pack it for me, but charged me for it, at the end I have to settle for fried cheese that is safe. I don’t recommend it because the management, that was there, didn’t even come to the table to talk to me and they were at the bar. That is not how you run a business!
Very disappointed with this place. Didn’t get what I ordered and was just told “I’m sorry.” The meat was more fat than anything and didn’t match the photos online. If you are looking for good Dominican food or good service don’t go here.
The Woman was very rude rolled her eyes because she couldn’t hear me because the music was loud they definitely need to be taught better customer service
Ordered food on Sunday around 10:30 pm . First problem when I called the lady up front doesn’t even speak English and then when I asked her to bring someone on the phone who speaks English she said nobody here speaks English then hangs up. Eventually I told my mom to call and order the food .The Spanish lady called my mom back at 10:55 saying the food was ready I arrived at 11:02 and the whole restaurant was closed when u guys are supposed to be open until 12 .HIRE BETTER EMPLOYEES
We love Dominican food but this place is a disgrace. The 2 waitresses were nice but took a long time to serve us. They gave us plastic tinsels to eat their expensive food..The bathroom needs repairs . I wonder what the kitchen looks like. There were some suspicious guys who were vaping. We went to see Victor Po but will not recommend this place.
Walked in and wasn't even acknowledged. More of a sport bar than a restaurant. Few people in the restaurant, and 2 sitting at the bar area. Waited about 5mins and nothing. No menu to be found to even look at, and had to rely on what was online. Not really what I expected for a restaurant that has 4.1 stars.
It’s incredible that it’s still a 4-star establishment. They have a terrible administration, the food takes too long for only 4 tables. VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!Music doesn’t even allow you to talk to the person next to you. The disastrous bathrooms. I come here occasionally, and they always change staff, which by the way, the manager of the establishment seems to be screaming all the time. This place is really uncomfortable, I’m going because my mother likes Dominican food and it’s close to home but please, improve your service and change your way.
Terrible!!!! If I could leave zero start I would!!the prices they charged you on the receipt if not the same on the menu it’s more. It’s not family friendly, they take forever, waiter only cares about the bar and not the restaurant customers not seeking to buy alcohol. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!

We love Dominican food but this place is a disgrace. The 2 waitresses were nice but took a long time to serve us. They gave us plastic tinsels to eat their expensive food..The bathroom needs repairs . I wonder what the kitchen looks like. There were some suspicious guys who were vaping. Very disappointed with this place. Didn’t get what I ordered and was just told “I’m sorry.” The meat was more fat than anything and didn’t match the photos online. If you are looking for good Dominican food or good service don’t go here.
