First Time at a Latin Buffet Amazing!!! Thanks much
The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the service was definitely the highlight of the experience. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations — some dishes were a bit underseasoned and not as fresh as I had hoped. Still, the staff’s professionalism and positive attitude made the visit enjoyable overall. With a few improvements to the food quality, this place could easily become a great spot!
This place is amazing if you leave hungry it’s your fault. You just can’t find food like this anywhere it’s older, but it’s super clean. I saw the guy moving the booth to clean behind it. Not even your nicest restaurants do that! my New Favorite Place. Latin flair with Asian on the side now that’s the best of both worlds !🔥you gotta try this place. You won’t be disappointed!
One of those subtle venues which look like a basic canteen, yet the food is excellent. An extensive range of fresh foods from fruit, fish, vegetables, salads, Chinese and of course Spanish. The ladies are helpful and friendly. The environment is calm and relaxed. I entered soon after the opening time. In a short time a slow but steady and constant stream of diners arrived. This is one of those places which is for people in the know. The diners were local residents and labour workers from the area. I am allergic to wheat, but this did not narrow my choices in any way. There is such a broad range of simple cooked fresh ingredients without the wheat, breadcrumbs, or wheat flour. Simple good quality clean food. All of the food I ate was fresh, tasty, and cooked just right. The price is extremely fair and good value ($17.03). This has been one of the best places I have eaten on my trip.
Stopped by this place for dinner and it was pretty good. The dumplings and stir-fry were tasty, and the portions were nice and generous. The staff was friendly and everything felt casual and comfortable. Not fancy, but a solid spot if you just want good Chinese food. I’d come back.
This place was clean floors tables and counter tops. The light was nice and bright . The service was ok the food was ok lots of Spanish dishes and a good amount of Chinese cuisine. The parking lot was open and clear with lots spaces. My experience here was good no hassle no issue no worries . All smooth operations
This buffet restaurant is a very good restaurant with a great food selection. Everything looked fresh. It would have been nice to have signs in English at each one of the different food types so you could tell what they were and decide what to select. Also, the Latin music was louder than it needed to be over the speaker and the radio Where it was being streamed from. Otherwise good quality will give it another try.
Really diverse buffet, they offer classic Latin dishes, as well as surprising ones like Mondongo, Goat, empanadas, a couple of different rice/ noodle options. They also offer the standard Chinese buffet in some of their dishes like beef and broccoli, and lo mein options to name a couple. The service honestly wasn’t the greatest, but everyone was really nice, and the place was extremely busy. Maybe have more hands on staff to refill drinks, and collect dishes 🤷♂️. You pay when you walk in, and they ask for tip as well, so bring cash if that’s not something you want to do up front. I still think the food was amazing, everything I had was really fresh, and I definitely over ate lol. Would return for sure.
I've been here multiple times over the years this ust to be our very 1st stop once we made it to Florida however I think this will be our last time. The food wasn't the same it was very salty an just tasted like they cooked with just salt no love an flavors to it. Before 5yts ago amazing food not one complaint but as of today na 2025 I won't be returning.
Palacio Buffet used to be one of my go-to spots for Latin food. I would often bring family members here to enjoy a good meal. Since moving to Florida, this place quickly became one of my favorites, but I think my love for this place ends here. I'm not sure what happened, but it’s just not the same anymore. The food no longer has the same flavor it used to. The buffet seems to offer less variety than before. I used to love eating the goat stew, which was one of my favorites, but while the taste was still decent, the meat was incredibly tough. The white rice was not fully cooked. On top of that, the dessert area had "mimes" (that's how I called them in Spanish) on top of the desserts and fruits. Seriously, what happened to this buffet? The service remains excellent, with the staff being just as friendly and attentive, but the quality of the buffet itself has definitely declined.
Buffet-style, all you can eat. Spanish food with an Asian add-on. The Asian food was good. As far as Spanish food, I only had crack rice with lentils to soften it up but that didn’t work. We got there at about 2:15 pm and maybe that’s why it was really hard. The waitress took us to the booth and got our drinks and her tip corresponded to her service. Nothing special.
The place is clean and the service is good they restock food quickly too. But honestly, the food itself is pretty subpar and lacks flavor. As a Latino, I found most dishes to be tasteless and missing the seasoning you'd expect. The only thing worth eating was the rice pudding it was full of flavor and really good. If everything tasted like that, it would be a whole different story. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.
Food was cold, has no flavor. Definitely lacking Latin flavor. Was so excited to try this place and ended up so disappointed. The inside of the restaurant looks dirty, the window shades looked like it had mold growing on it. Truly doesn’t feel clean. My husband and I had a plate of food and didn’t finish our meals. The staff were friendly and inviting, but the food was horrible. They said they have chivo (goat stew) but definitely was not. Will not be returning :(
This place is disgusting. So many roaches everywhere from the tables to the buffet.I feel like I was ripped off. I decided I wanted to take my 10-year-old to with me. It was $19.99 for me and $19.99 for her. all the food was subpar, and not a good quality you could tell food was left out or saved, and stored for a few days. Some of the food was burnt that you could taste the burnt flavor and a lot of the dishes, though they were supposed to be hot dishes were cold to top it off I found a cockroaches crawling on the table and buffet. After I ate my fist plate which was burnt I saw the roaches I complained and the lady at the counter denied that she had roaches untilll I showed her the pics Then she had the nerve to say that that wasn’t her restaurant so she looked a little closer at the bar with the roach climbing on it. She then said she wouldn’t give me a refund and I could leave if I don’t like it. I would never go back. They’re not worth one red cent. They have bad customer service Nasty. This place is filthy. It needs to be shut down.
My friend wanted to come to this buffet and I love Latin food so I wanted to go too however my medication is making me not hungry at the moment I was hoping to sit down with him and smell the food and then decide to pay for the buffet and eat but that is "not allowed" and since my friend already paid I am sitting in the parking lot just waiting for him to finish eating. I was really hoping to eat here today.
Literally the worst experience of my life. My husband got sick after eating here. The food was awful. The service was not great. The atmosphere was Reminiscent of an 80s style buffet, but without the glamour. Somehow they even managed to mess up ceviche, and there was even a dessert that had not only the taste, but also the consistency of a candle. A very old candle. We were amazed at the value as far as the price goes when we got there, but now we feel like we overpaid
Food wasn't attractive or fresh. I was excited about reading about it but found the meat discolored and almost everything I sampled was cooked incorrectly. Very sorry for the bad review. The place was very busy otherwise and no one else seemed bothered.
*****What on earth happened to "El Palacio Buffet?" ***** Definitely under new management/ownership. It's not the original "El Palacio Buffet" that received great reviews in the past for authentic latin food. This place is far from authentic latin food. Lacks authentic seasoning. Heck, it lacks seasoning period. Food was bland, cold and not appealing. These recent great reviews are falsely advertised, one even states that the portion they served him was a nice size. What?? It's a buffet, you serve yourself! This is a solid "do not recommend for me". $42.00 for 2 on a Thursday evening and the receipt even states that you are limited to 1 hour. Sadly unprofessional.
Food taste so old…looks like it’s been reheated all the time…the food doesn’t taste fresh at all…I’ve had stomach upset for 3 consecutive times so I’m no longer going back there. Won’t recommend
I'm not certain how it got 4 Stars. Food looked like it had been out since noon. It was hard to pick out anything fresh other than the fruit. The meat was tough, some of it unidentifiable. Iabeling would have helped. Some of it left an aftertaste that took breath mints to cut.
Do not eat here!!! First off, there were bugs crawling around the walls next to the table we were sat at which is absolutely disgusting. The restaurant overall was not clean, the plates were dirty, and the trays the food was being served out of were also dirty. The food itself was not good and tasted old. Nothing was hot either, everything I got was cold or barely warm. There also were not clear labels on anything which made it confusing when trying to understand what everything was. Eating here is a waste of your money and I strongly advise you avoid this place.
If I could give them no stars I would. There was a roach in their beans I showed the staff and they took the beans out but that was enough for me to not eat. They refused to refund me my money which by the way I had 2 kids and was charged regular price for them. We didn't eat and just left. It was 4 of us and they didn't even offer to give us at least half the money back. And the roach was in the main buffett line.
This place is disgusting!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The food is greasy, nasty and not very tasty and HEAVEN FORBID you should have to use the bathroom THEY DO NOT HAVE WORKING TOILETS!! We arrived around 8:15 pm 11/29/25 for dinner We got some food at the buffet which I found to be very disappointing. My autistic son often decides he has to go to the bathroom in the middle of a meal so I usually accompany to see everything is OK. He prefers the handicap toilet and I always make sure it’s in good working order and clean. When I inspected El Palacio’s handicap toilet it was full of toilet paper and feces. I tried to flush it but it would not flush so I told my son use the other toilet, to my horror it was also full of paper and feces and WOULD NOT FLUSH!!! I complained to the manager and they took no action, we immediately left the restaurant mid meal and we’ll NEVER RETURN. $18.97 per person is not cheap. If this kind of unsanitary conditions are happening in the restrooms you can imagine what is happening in the kitchen. Ruined my appetite ruined my night. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISGUSTING ESTABLISHMENT it is not for decent people. On Monday I will report them to the health department.
Been here years ago, before pandemic. The food was great but soda tasted like fabuloso back then . Today my review wasn't good at all food was bland great choices but the flavors weren't there and the soda was worst, i ordered a diet coke. Service was nice wish the food was. Started sneezing alot didnt know why till i looked up A/C vent was dusty . Online it said 17.99 including drink when I got there drinks weren't included. Wasn't worth 44$ for 2. That explains why it was empty on a Saturday night at 730pm go to McDonald's get a 40 nuggets and 2 large fries family meal for 18.99 instead. I'm disappointed i really was expecting same great taste years ago.
