One of the best restaurants in Orlando! It is a favorite. Amazing and welcoming ambiance, delicious food, and authentic Japanese experience. The staff are so friendly and they greet you as you enter. We recommend trying different dishes and discover something new each visit! Must-order dishes: mentaiko udon, susuru gohan (with uni), yakitori (kawa & hatsu), kushiyaki (pork jowl & beef tongue), shoyu smoked duck, kong kaisen don, fish fish fish, and dry aged o-toro.

Sat at the bar a few times and enjoyed my experience every time. Josh and Cam are great bartenders. I had the hatsu, beef tongue and hamachi crudo ( my favorite). Food and atmosphere is amazing. It feels like an authentic Japanese restaurant with elevated Japanese comfort food.

I'm incredibly overdue for this review (I blame procrastination). After countless visits and bringing every out-of-town friend here, it's finally time! Chef Lewis and his amazing team are truly outstanding! Their passion and skill make every meal unforgettable. From the omakases, to the snacks, I'm pretty sure I've tried almost everything on this menu. The flavors are so unique and delicious, with creative twists on Japanese classics that always impress. My top favorites: the smoked duck (tender, smoky perfection), the mentaiko udon (rich, creamy, and totally addictive), the pressed salmon sushi (fresh, balanced, and expertly crafted), and OF COURSE the beef tongue (melt in your mouth, eat it right when you get it!) & beef tenderloin (need I say more?) kushiyaki. Honestly a huge fan of most of their items but these are ALWAYS ALWAYS a must order, especially the mentaiko udon. If you're in Orlando, JUJU is a MUST and I can't wait for my next visit!

We stumbled upon this place and I'm so happy we did. We sat at the bar and got amazing service. Our bar tender was great and made tasty drinks. The food came out in waves which made the pace of dinner really nice. You leave satiated but not too full which is great. Everything we ate tasted better that the item before. I cannot wait to go back to try more of their delicious dishes!

Really enjoyed this little piece of Japan in Orlando. Great service and super cute vibe. Had to get extra ribeye skewers. They are so good. We had chicken karagee, chasu bowl, duck, potatoes, wagyu gyoza. Everything was great! Definitely go check them out! My picky bro-un-law gave it 5 stars and he never does that! ☺️

Juju was honestly such a beautiful and touching experience. From the moment we walked in, we were met with the sweetest, most genuine group of people, the kind of hospitality that instantly makes you feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for. It didn’t feel like just good service, it felt like kindness. The space itself is so calm and thoughtfully designed, and being there truly felt like a little taste of Japan in Orlando. Everything about the atmosphere felt peaceful, intentional, and grounding, like a place you’re meant to slow down and really be present in. We did the omakase, and it was incredible. Every course felt so detailed, delicate, and full of care. You could feel the love and respect behind the food, and that made the experience feel even more special. Nothing felt rushed, it felt like each moment was meant to be savored. It wasn’t just a dinner, it felt like a memory we’ll always carry with us. We left feeling happy, full, and genuinely grateful for the experience and for the people who made it so meaningful. Juju is really something special. Thank you to the Juju team for making us feel so welcome!

I usually go to Susuru, the sister restaurant of Juju, and I come here just to see how it would be! Definitely amazing. One thing they serve that Susuru doesn’t have is pressed sushi. They do not have ramen here. However, the skewer and the chashu bowl are great! Susuru and Juju are first come first serve basis, no reservation. I waited 20 mins for table of 2 on a weekend

Our first time at Juju was for the omakase in January of 2025 and we came back for dinner last night. Both experiences were wonderful. The food is amazing. Highly recommend the bluefin toro. Our waitress was awesome. She gave us great suggestions of what to try and she was spot on!

Juju just hits different. Really enjoyed the soft opening of the sister restaurant to Susuru. The Toro tartar and Wagyu Maki both melted in your mouth with explosions of flavors. It’s very balanced and the ingredients well utilized. The Hokkaido soup curry (I really liked mixing it with the Susuru gohan to get that rice and curry feel) and Teba Gyoza were also delicious. 10/10 would recommend! The yakitori, kushiyaki, and were solid and there’s nothing quite like pork belly wrapped enoki mushrooms. Super excited to see how the menu will expand… and I hear there may be soft serve ice cream available for desserts!

Absolutely love this place! The design of the restaurant inside and out was incredible. We ordered several appetizers, two meals, sake and wine. Everything single thing was delicious! Our favorite was the duck. We even met the owner who was super nice. We can’t wait to go back!

I managed to get a reservation for Juju’s soft opening recently. Upon entering, you’re greeted by the showa era decor, which gives off a very eclectic and retro vibe. We ordered teba gyoza, wagyu maki, toro tartar, madai crudo, scallop carpaccio, pork jowl, and the mentaiko fries. All of it was yummy, but my favorites were the madai crudo, wagyu maki and the pork jowl. Food came out fast and looked just as appetizing as it tasted. Our server was Ana and she was very attentive and nice. Looking forward to eventually trying the other menu items we weren't able to get to and also the kappo bar!!

My girlfriend and I are regulars here. I am not kidding when I say we come at least once a week to JUJU! The food is always of the highest quality and the service is exceptional. We are known as the “Million Momo Girls” due to the amount of skewers we order when we dine here haha. The staff makes us feel like family which always warms our hearts. Anytime anyone asks us where they should eat in Orlando we always point them in the direction of JUJU. We’d like to thank the entire JUJU staff for all they do and for always making every visit so memorable, we love you guys! ❤️‍🔥

Once we stepped inside Juju, we were taken away by the retro Japanese decor that was displayed around the restaurant. It was a short wait before we got seated, with the restaurant almost being full. Loved the open kitchen. We tried the heart and pork jowl yakitori. Also ordered the grilled bass, chirashi box and okinomiyaki! Everything was delicious and matched well with the drinks we got! Perfect chill night out at an izakaya. Service was impeccable, had an awesome convo with Wally while waiting to get seated, and our server Mai was attentive and friendly!

JuJu is one of my absolute go‑to spots. The food hits just right — inventive Japanese small plates, fresh sashimi, and yakitori that keep me coming back. The vibe is retro‑cool, the cocktails are sharp (sake in juice boxes? Yes, please), and the atmosphere is always buzzing. Sitting at the bar feels like you’re part of something special. Highly recommend for a night out that doesn’t miss.

The experience you get at JUJU is like no other. Upon being greeted by the whole staff with a cheerful "irasshaimase!", we were seated at the bar and served immediately. Every member of the staff was friendly, warm, and attentive, which was a nice surprise considering how busy the restaurant was. The food is UNREAL: the sashimi was unbelievably fresh and tender, paired with the most delicious sauces. The susuru gohan (rice bowl) is a must try side dish, and the yakitori is beautifully charred with intense flavor you won't wanna miss. Japanese foods tend to be my favorite, and I've been to so many sushi bars and noodle restaurants, but JUJU is, without a doubt, the best Japanese restaurant in Orlando. 100/10. ごちそさまでした!

Izakaya FTW! We were fortunate enough to get a reservation during the soft opening of Juju and it did not disappoint! I have been to Susuru and while this place has a similar vibe, the menu options certainly reflect a new direction. The Wagyu Maki was so fatty and melty; it really hit the spot. The yakitori choices were all incredible. I'd recommend the beef tenderloin and the chicken hearts! My absolute favorite was the Salmon Chimichurri. Such a unique blend of flavors! Overall, we ordered about 75% of the menu and the dishes were all killer. We would have never known they were in soft open mode. Can't wait to go back!

Went to their soft opening. Service was excellent, did not experience any hiccups. Food was great, comparable to susuru, drinks also were great. Our favorite is the Wagyu maki and scallop carpaccio. Vibes resemble susuru, which is a positive thing. Keep up the good work, looking forward to y'all's grand opening!!

Juju is truly a travel experience. The moment you step in, it feels like you are in Japan as a kid in the 80’s. The interior design is nostalgic and well put together. The food is delicious and carefully curated. I love this place and the sister location, Susuru! We always get the skewers and udon with uni. I only hope Izakaya restaurants will become more prevalent.

We always explain to our friends that Japanese food is not only limited sushi, it is an astonishingly unique cuisine with a never-ending variety of fabulous dishes. Juju truly encompasses this statement. Boasting an awe-striking menu riddled with some of our favorite dishes, Juju has become one of our most loved restaurants in this entire country. From their complex and traditional okonomiyaki, to their simple and nostalgic susuru gohan bowl, you will be blown away by every single bite. Our waiter, Kenji, was an absolute pleasure. He was extremely attentive, and helped guide us through the menu. Kenji is also fluent in Japanese, which made for amazing conversation! The atmosphere was absolutely adorable and extremely traditional. Warm lighting, and fun signs and trinkets riddled throughout the eatery. The owner of this restaurant has amassed an extremely fun collection! We kept ordering until we were so full, that we, quite literally, could not take another bite. Every dish that was presented to us was elegantly plated, and every ingredient was very clearly well thought out. Our first dish was the dry aged fish tasting, which showcased a beautifully aged otoro. Topped with freshly shaved truffles, and sturgeon caviar, this dish was an absolute delight to our palates. We then received our assortment of kushiyaki. We ordered the beef tenderloin, ribeye, and pork jowl kushiyaki. The pork jowl was by far the best. The ribeye tasted a tad old, sadly. That was our least favorite bite of our entire meal. The pork jowl was phenomenal and extremely tender. It was perfectly prepared. We quite honestly do not even know where to begin with their flawless tempura plating. The sweet potato was ineffable, and the green pepper was a pleasant surprise. Perfectly done tempura is difficult for many restaurants to achieve, and Juju’s highly skilled tempura dish absolutely blew us away. To be able to cook lotus root to absolute perfection definitely deserves an honorable mention. The okonomiyaki… wow. Just, wow. Truly traditional, all while achieving a beautiful balance of bold Japanese flavors. This was the best okonomiyaki we have ever had. “Wow” is the best way to describe every bite. The susuru gohan bowl was a great classic. Nothing beats a fresh egg yolk over properly seasoned rice. The A5 wagyu was very nice. Clearly a true Japanese wagyu. The Japanese cucumbers were a great pairing. The dish had a lot going on, and it definitely could have been a much simpler plate. This A5 wagyu plating would have obtained absolute flawlessness if it was simplified and served with a side of fresh wasabi. When we requested fresh wasabi, the food runner was confused, but it is a very traditional plating in Japanese cuisine. After finishing this amazing assortment, we wanted more. We ordered the hamachi crudo and it was lovely. Light and fresh, a great way to finish our meal. Drinks wise, Juju had a very solid drink selection. We would definitely recommend adding plum wine to the menu. The Matcha Mule was a huge surprise. A very interesting and enjoyable pairing. The strawberry pocky was a cute touch. Our experience at Juju was one of the best we have ever had. We look forward to visiting again when we are in Orlando. We can’t wait to try their black sesame ice cream, it’s one of our favorites. We are so thankful for this experience!

A nice welcome addition to the Orlando food scene. The atmosphere and decorations help transport you to a different era and place. This place serves small tapas style Japanese dishes that are meant to be shared with people. They are tasty and reasonably priced.

This place was fun, it had great menu, awesome servers and a unique and delicious drink menu. It is fun because you can split small plates with a group or get something for yourself. The "Teba Gyoza" was out of this world. (Fall off the bone stuffed chicken on a stick) The scallop tasted so good. Whatever sauce that was is fantastic. Ordered an old fashioned which was tasty. Will be going back again to explore this menu some more.

Really awesome and unique experience that I highly recommend. The food was very great, kind of like a tapas style of Japanese favorites other than sushi. Everything was delicious and the staff was so nice!

By far the most unique and complex omakase in Orlando to date. For starters, they incorporate the "kappo style" that's widely utilized in Japan, which means to "cut and cook" the connection from the food the chef is preparing to when it hits your table. The fish they use for the omakase is the first in Orlando to be Dry-Aged. Often a method used for steaks, this removes the moisture and relatively "fishy" taste of most fish and gives it a more clean and crisp flavor that makes it almost like fish steak. A very unique and different approach, but wonderfully delicious. After a few of the raw dishes and classic Japanese staple dishes, they had a slight intermission which was followed by hot food. The quality of all the ingredients are top-notch, an example is how they use a rainbow-color sesame seed garnish! It's wonderful where you can enjoy both raw and cooked dry-aged fish and cannot forget what Japan is truly known for; A5 Wagyu. I enjoyed the Wagyu from the Miyazaki prefecture, which is one that's known for the tender cut. By the end of the meal, they serve you a Japanese "paella", where they utilize everything that the meal consisted of served with caviar. It was so filling and delicious! Basically a huge serving of everything you just had! They finished the meal with probably the best strawberry shortcake I've had..very cliche but very very good. All in all, atmosphere is informal which is normal for their own "kappo style" and the food is unparalleled so far. They will have a seasonal omakase menu for next time, and I can't wait to enjoy it next time!

Fun and terribly tasty new dining experience in the outskirts of downtown Orlando. The small plates could easily add up quickly, but for $17 worth I was satisfied. Ate at the bar and the bartender was amazing but slightly overwhelmed.

Omg wish me and my bf lived closer to Juju. Waited probably 30 minutes to sit but it was all worth it. Came from St Pete and drove to Orlando. We were sitting in the corner, had the best view of the restaurant. It was busy but wasn’t noisy to where you couldn’t hear each other talk. Loved how unique this place is, definitely will be back when we are in town!

A long overdue review: I've been to JUJU both for regular dine-in and omakase (and nigirikase) several times. I drive over an hour to come here and it's 100% worth it. Every time I am blown away by the flavors, the plating and the service is always top-notch. I highly recommend the chirashi box (the sea urchin and salmon roe is quality, and I'm usually not a fan) and mentaiko fries are usually on every table (for good reason). For drinks, our favorites are the murasaki no ame (lavender and perfumey) and the real nori-ega (limey with a spicy salt rim) cocktails. Their karaage is crispy and the lemony dipping sauce complements it well. The Susuru chashu gohan is sweet, salty, savory and will leave you wanting another bowl. If you spot matcha creme brulee on the dessert menu, get it. 😉 It's fantastic. The dining room is decorated in a somewhat kitschy Showa-era design that's very nostalgic and helps keep the restaurant feeling casual because I always feel like I have to dress up for the food. 😂 If you have the opportunity to reserve Kappo Bar omakase or nigirikase and you're adventurous with food, you will not be disappointed. The flavors are complex and surprising. Many of the ingredients are imported fresh from Japan. The dry-aged fish has a flavor wow factor I didn't know was possible and Chef Lewis' chawanmushi is better than what I've had in Japan. Beware there are non-typical things on the seasonal omakase menu. Once we had a fish milt ball in a (very nice) soup. I wouldn't have picked it off the menu if I knew what it was, but it was pretty tasty even so. FYI if you want a more casual menu or just less fish, check out JUJU's sister restaurant in Lake Buena Vista, Susuru.

Now this is a fun place to visit!! Aside from really cool Japanese themed decor, the great selection of Japanese drafts, and Japanese themed cocktail....the food is really good!!!! That chicken wing Gyoza had my mind in a stir!! Tried both mini bowls which when added to a few delicious appetizers, was the perfect size. And oh so delicious!! I will definitely be returning here and soon!! Godzilla is everywhere! Fun and absolutely well thought out menu! Put this on your list if you want to try something different and yet very tasty!

Run, don't walk to Juju because they don't take reservations. We were lucky enough to get there at 6pm on a Wed and were seated very quickly. I hear it gets super packed. Also I believe part of a Michelin review but its below star prices. Staff was great. I cook 5 to 7 days a week so when I go out to eat I want something I can't easily make at home. And this is that experience. There isn't a bad thing on the menu. You can go as basic as raw fish or go as complex as roasted duck on a cauliflower puree rested in miso. Pork belly wrapped enoki mushrooms, are you kidding me? The chicken yakitori was some of the best seasoned chicken that I've ever had. The ramen my girlfriend ordered was unlike anything I've ever tasted. Imagine a traditional ramen bowl garnished in nori and roe but married with the taste of an Alfredo mac and cheese. Its that kind of next level. I usually avoid tapas style places because I leave not really feeling full. This is not that kind of tapas. We ordered 9 menu items, saki, and two beers. And with a 25% tip I believe the bill was $108 for two people. That may seem expensive to some people but I'm telling you for the taste it's worth way more. We will be back for the rest of the menu.

Don't listen to the spam of fake reviews. Juju is one of the BEST spots in Orlando, hands down. The vibes are immaculate and I come here with my friends religiously! There are so many tasty variety plates. The skewers are always cooked to perfection, the drinks are spectacular, and bowls are an all time favorite. (I do wish the hambagu and fries would come back, but won't hold it against y'all). The staff is always so sweet and attentive too, some of the best people I know. If you haven't already, try it! if you already have, go again!

I recently had the opportunity to do the omakase experience at the kappo bar and it did not disappoint! First, unlike most omakase experiences I can promise you will leave this one with a full stomach and possibly some leftovers. All the dishes tasted amazing and had exquisite presentations. The chefs were very informative explaining the preparation and flavor profiles of each course before serving it. Lastly I wanted to give special thanks to Mai who was extremely kind and warm from the moment she greeted us. She went above and beyond to make the experience special and make sure we were comfortable. I definitely definitely will be returning in the future!

To properly celebrate our 2-year anniversary, I treated my girlfriend and myself to a wonderful night out at JUJU. We did the eight course and 15 plate omakase. I was very excited and my expectations were beyond exceeded. For the 3 hours we were there, everything from the food to the service was incredible. Dry aged fish, to uni, to firefly squid, to what can best be described as a Japanese paella, and everthing in between was such a departure from the norm. Having Chefs Lewis and Shane make the food right in front of you and being able to ask them questions was a level of involvement that enhanced the experience. This was not eating, it was truly dining.

Wonderful experience as always. This is one of our favorite spots in ORL, the food is very (not exaggerating) very good. From the Wagyu Gyoza to the Chicken karaage everything is a good bet with JUJU. This is our little piece of Japan in US.

We finally got to try Juju, and it was delicious. It's been several years since we tried their sister restaurant, Susuru, and I remember not being too impressed. However, Juju had several dishes that were unique, and their yakitori is the best we've had in Orlando. Our favorite bites of the night were the Hamachi Crudo, yakitori, and the Wagyu gyoza. Food came out fast, service was friendly, and prices are reasonable for the quality. The initial long waits right after their opening have decreased, so we were seated at the bar right away around 9pm on a Saturday night. I'll definitely come back.

Love this spot! We are always pleasantly surprised by this location that moved into what was once a stand alone Pizza Hut. The parking lot is a bit finicky as you'll need to park nearby to Target with the shared lot that is pretty busy at times, but that is really the only negative thing I can say. Once you walk into the restaurant you are taken in by the theming and decor right away. The servers are always quick to greet you and within a short time have you seated and provided with a menu of the offerings. Haven't yet had something we didn't like, but I especially enjoy the chicken skewer and the dumplings. Yakitori is a MUST. They have some fun specialty cocktails that are unique to their location, so I'd suggest giving those a look if you are interested in an adult beverage. Overall: A+ It's easy to understand why this spot has great reviews and a local following! Give them a go and fall in love with the space.

Wait time: No wait time if you arrive on time. I recommend arriving at least 10-15 minutes before they open to make the line. It fills up quick. No reservations available Hostess: 10/10Wonderful greeting staff and an area to sit comfortably if you have to wait. Server: 10/10 Very knowledgeable of the food items and explaining the history of the types of Japanese cuisine. Very attentive to our drinks and if we were missing anything. Food: CAUTION.. the kitchen prepaid the food once its ordered. Meaning you may get certain dishes at different times and patients is key. Overall food was high quality and each dish just as savory as the last. Foods ordered were: Momo 9/10, Skirt steak 10/10, Pork belly 9/10, Brussels sprouts 10/10, Susuru chashu gozan 10/10, Street corn 10/10 (High recommend) Ambiance: 10/10 Decor is beautiful and perfectly represents a traditional Japanese Izakaya! Music and mood are wonderful to eat and have a good time. Restrooms: 10/10 Clean and fully stocked. Cleanliness: 10/10 Tables are promptly cleaned and prepped for the following guests. Dining room form is free from debris and very clean Timing: 10/10 Food was perfect and everything was warmed accordingly. Likeliness to return: 100% Great place to have a fun time with good people and enjoy amazing food Consider Alternatives: NONE Additional Comments: Try to arrive 10-15 min before they open (5:30), plenty of parking. Not very suitable for large groups (attempt calling to see accommodations/availability’s)

JUJU is an absolutely wonderful restaurant! If you have been wanting to visit this restaurant, we were in the same boat - we drove past this place almost every day and always wondered…I’m so happy we finally went! We walked in at 6:15 on a Friday night and were immediately seated (though do expect at times this place can have a wait; it is a very popular spot), and the atmosphere inside is just awesome! It’s like you transported back in time to retro 1980s Japan. Amazing decorations everywhere! The food is exceptional - high-end inventive Japanese bar food that will leave you craving more! We got a lot of different dishes on our first visit: wagyu gyoza, chicken karaage, yuzu street corn, okonomiyaki, char-grilled tako salad, grilled striped bass, tsukune (Japanese meatballs) and kawa (chicken skin) yakitori, and ribeye kushiyaki! It was a LOT of food, and you definitely don’t need to order this much for two people, but the nice thing about JUJU is you can get a wide variety of different things off their menu because it’s all small and tapas-style! Our absolute favorites were the char-grilled tako salad (a MUST TRY; literally one of the best octopus dishes we have ever had), wagyu gyoza (also some of the best dumplings we’ve ever had), grilled striped bass (the charcoal grill flavor with yuzu sauce was on a whole new level of good) and okonomiyaki (just perfect…exactly like what we had when visiting Japan a few years ago) - however, we would literally order everything again. There wasn’t a single thing that was just “okay”…it was all amazing. I can’t wait to visit JUJU again - this will certainly not be our last! Check this place out!!

We had high expectations and they definitely lived up to them. We arrived 10 mins before they opened and there was no line so we waited in the car and not even 5 mins later there was a line of 20+ deep forming so we got out to wait in line. Everyone that we interacted with was very friendly and welcoming. Our server, Natasha, was very attentive and and checked on us regularly without being overbearing. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed everything we ate but some outstanding dishes were the Wagyu gyoza (so much so I was contemplating getting another order), the Wagyu sampler, the Wagyu hambagu, the Teba gyoza, and the Chirashi box. The Wagyu sampler had a lot of sauce with it that was good but we would’ve liked to taste more of the original Wagyu flavor, but still very good. We will definitely come back if we are near the area!

Love this spot. Bartender Cam has been there since the beginning and always takes great care of guests. It’s approachable with delicious food and drinks. They offer different dining experiences if you want to go for a tasting or just have their regular menu, both are great.

Wow! Everything from the decoration to the flavor of the food was amazing! It is a little small so expect a little bit of a wait but I'm telling you, it's gonna be worth it. I tried the fat-washed Whiskey cocktail which was interesting because the after taste was savory, and a little creamy on the tongue which I really enjoyed. That old pizza hut was my favorite. It was like a boozy Dr. Pepper or root beer. I think it could've also been amazing served warm especially with the weather cooling down. The best thing I had hands down for the evening was the smoked duck with the Miso cauliflower puree. I would come back just for that dish. A close second was the wagyu maki, then the Tuna negi. We also tried the mentaiko fries, okonomiyaki, Hamachi kama, teba gyoza, chicken karage, susuru gohan, and the matcha ice cream. This was more than enough food for 4 people and we left absolutely stuffed. I would definitely come here again to try more of the food and drinks!

Great food, great atmosphere. Okonomiyaki and hamachi crudo were favorites. Chirashi in mashu box was also very good, great tasting fish. Our server Cam was awesome and gave great sake recommendations. Awesome vibe and super friendly atmosphere.

Long over due review from 2 months ago. I have been to Juju for their regular sitting down preview menu. But when I came back the second for their Omakase. It blew my taste buds away. The the custom omakase that they offered, is not your typical Japanese omakase. However it was still amazing. My friend invited me to try it during the soft opening. Let me tell you, the 10 courses did not disappoint out at all. Food: 5/5 I am not going to describe each amazing tasting experience for every course that I had for all 10 courses lol I can say they worked up my taste buds really well. They also built up the momentum for every dish really well. There was some very sophisticated tasting in certain dishes due to how they prep the food, especially the toro and otsukuri dish. It has been one of the top 3 best food experience that I have had in Orlando. Obviously, this was a bit pricey but i would do it again. 🤣 Atmosphere: 4.5/5 the place is very well designed and spacious. I feel like they could have optimized it better to allow more seating at the bar since it is very limited. However it works for what they need to do. The place is decorated well and themed with Japanese culture arts and decorations. Service: 5/5 the service was just beyond amazing. They were so attentive in changing your plates, refilling water or sake. They checked on you constantly. The explanation that each chef did , it was very detailed and passionate.

Update. Sitting at the bar is the best experience! All the drink options are amazing and flavorful. They even will make drinks not on the menu if you don't see one you want. Always an amazing experience ✨️ The whole menu is amazing you can't go wrong. Anyone I recommend this place to loves it and says its better than similar locations near by due to the atmosphere, service, and menu options. 1st time: So I was waiting for the dining to open and they definitely did not disappoint! The good was incredible. I went alone and spent some $$$ but I wanted to try many things. I would recommend going with at least one other person to share things but personally I don't mind. The Tsukune with the garlic mayo is by far my favorite of the yakitori options! So delicious and definitely a must have. The momo was good as well but a tough act to follow after the Tsukune. The beef tenderloin was good and cooked to the perfect texture. The pork belly wrapped lettuce and enoki were delicious and great options from the Yakitori menu. I did like the Teba Gyoza but I had it after the Wagyu Maki so it just didn't speak to me as much. I do wish the sauce on that was a little thicker but again had it after the Wagyu Maki so it really didn't get a good chance. The Wagyu Maki is a MUST HAVE. Yes its 32$ for four pieces but so worth the flavorful journey it takes you on. I had to order a second one because wow it was just that good. The Susuru Chasu gohan was another one of my personal favorites! The sweet aged soy sauce in top was the perfect pairing to the pork belly in top. And for my drink I got the plum wine sangria and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. If I could have anything added to their menu it would be the shiitake mushrooms for the Yakitori menu because from their other location its such a delite. Can't wait to try more dishes

I cannot believe I slept on JUJU like I have, Susuru is one of my favorite restaurants and its sister restaurant does not disappoint. Stepping into the restaurant I felt transported back to Japan immediately. The food, drinks, and service also do not disappoint.

A hidden gem!! I visited with my friend for dinner. Went in with no wait and ordered a few skewers, mentaiko udon, susuru gohan, charred octopus salad, yuzu street corn. We enjoyed almost all of them. Would 100% recommend KAWA (chicken skin), beef tongue, pork jowl for yakitori. The salad and corn were a pleasant surprise as well! Interior was so nice as well. Very nostalgic Japanese:)

Obsesssd! My bf and I came here for date night and we had so much fun! And the food and drinks are amazing! This is legit Japanese too. I used to live in Tokyo and JUJU felt so nostalgic and brought me back to Japan. We already cannot wait to go back! Service was amazing too. Good vibes here

I’ve been to the sister location and was excited to have our own place nearby. The pork belly wrapper shishito peppers are a must they were a highlight among all of the amazing dishes. I also highly recommend the chicken skin, hearts, and the beef tenderloin. Great place to bring friends and just have fun tasting all the different dishes. I am going to be a regular here.

Smaller dishes than usual. My favorite was the pork bowl which is like $8 but amazing. Again small plates. So order that with the salmon. Drinks are also really really good here. Awesome place to just eat real Japanese food and awesome drinks. Staff is super friendly and kind. This place is usually PACKED. We went there on a Saturday around like 8:30-9 pm and we didn’t have to wait at all. So maybe go around that time. Highly recommend this restaurant. Also recommend Susuru which is another one of their restaurants they have the best ramen in town.

Our first time at Juju was for the omakase in January of 2025 and we came back for dinner last night. Both experiences were wonderful. The food is amazing. Highly recommend the bluefin toro. Our waitress was awesome. She gave us great suggestions of what to try and she was spot on!

Our experience at JuJu was an amazing experience full of flavor, flowers, and fun! This guided tour of the seas of Japan and the delectable taste held within will leave you satisfied and happy! Topped it off with Japanese Sake Culture with a tasting experience that made you feel like you were in the heart of Japan! The delicious dessert finished the evening perfectly! Good people, good fish, good times! Enjoy!

The food was delicious. I have never eaten raw sushi and was nervous but I ordered the Pressed Salmon. Not only was it fun to watch them make it which was a work of art but it was absolutely delicious and when we were done with our meal we ordered another one because it was so good. The decor was filled with things from my childhood. I absolutely love this restaurant and will definitely be back!

You know I love my tastings!! Has to be one of the most unique and flavorful tastings I’ve ever had! I love JUJU’s selections and how creative all of their dishes are. This place had amazing food, and drinks. They have a the world’s best mixologist. The service was amazing too. They were very quick to bring out the food and attentive to detail. The ambiance is low key, a mom and pop restaurant, with a loud dining room so may not be able to have deep conversations, but great with a loud bunch of friends! We have literally ordered everything on the menu, and everything is tasty and so creatively made!

This is a magical place. The service, ambience, food, and drink are all simply incredible. On top of everything else, the person attending our table — Skye — made us feel like we were cousins of hers visiting her home. She truly took us on a journey through the beautiful evening. I’m fairly certain we are returning tomorrow (seriously). It. Is. That. Good.

Food: food was overall delicious and unique. Slightly over priced but that was expected. Fish dishes were fresh and the meat quality was excellent. Creative and visually appealing matched with taste that exceeded expectation. Server: very kind and helpful. Made some great drink and food choice for us and was polite and attentive to what we said. Overall service was slow in the start but sped uo towards the end. Satisfied. Atmosphere: the atmosphere is a little underwhelming but by the same time that's probably a good thing to reduce dust build up and clutter. Definitely appropriate choices were made to fit the needs of the establishment. Price: we spent roughly $110/person including tip. This was what we expected going in. A lot of this will depend on if you have drinks or not. Highly suggest trying one or two of their cocktails since they were surprisingly very good.

Came to try with a good group of friends that also like to eat and are open to new things. We’ve heard this place was good so we gave it a shot and it was totally worth it. We just decided to order a few dishes and try them all and they were all good. The stickers were cooked to the point juicy and red in the middle with a nice sear on the outside. The chicken meatballs were crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside with a lot of flavor. I personally like more the spicy one than the garlic one. De seared salmon was also good a lot of flavor. The octopus’s was amazing, cooked on point. The leche de tigre sauce that was mixed w/ the vegetables was very good, the spinach was crunchy and gave the bite and amazing texture. Nothing that we tried was bad! If you haven’t had yuzu soda, it’s a must. So tasty and refreshing

Another beautiful way to end our evening with a dinner at 1 of our consistently, great quality, and attentive service dining experience. Thanks, JUJU!! 👍👌👏 👏 👏 As you can see in the attached pic & vid clips of the items we've ordered. I ALWAYS recommend the Chicken Kara Age (Japanese version of chicken nuggets with the zesty lemon Mayo dipping sauce), along with practically any combo of the grilled kushiyakis, then sushi dishes to top it off! Um um um.......

There aren’t even words that can describe how unique of a dining experience this place is. Juju is the sister store to Susuru and because of how small the store is you’d easily miss this place if you weren’t looking for it. They have a lounge to chill at near the bar and unique Japanese lantern decorations and posters on the walls that really make the atmosphere different from just about any place you’ll go dine at. Now with that said, everything was delicious! You definitely have to get the Tebu Gyoza Wings, A5 Wagyu Gyoza, Hamachi Kama and Chicken Karaage if you’re going to get starters. If you love sushi then get the dry aged sashimi set and otoro set. Those had such a nice depth of dry aged flavor in each piece of fish. The Yakitori and Kushiyaki shine with the texture of the meats, the flavors of each meat and that nice char grilled taste that just lingers after you’ve finished it leaving you craving more. Definitely get the beef tongue, ribeye, pork jowl and king mushroom skewers. They unfortunately ran out of ice cream for the night because they sold that many but beware that it is one flavor a day and it rotates each day so you cannot order each flavor that they have to try them all. I would love to come back again and try some of the menu items I didn’t get to try the first time. It is a bit pricey but honestly you need to give Juju a try, like as in right now.

This is my favorite restaurant is Orlando. I prob go once every week or two. They are consistently putting out mouth watering food. You can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu. I like being able to order a nice piece of fish like king salmon and not have to go to an upscale restaurant. The atmosphere is so chill and staff are very friendly.

Fantastic night out with family. Decided to stop by after driving on colonial and realizing the Pizza Hut got replaced by this amazing cuisine. Service was great, server was very knowledgeable on the menu and gave great recommendations. It is a tapas/small plate style but it was perfect for us since we love to pick at food and share things. We honestly tried majority of the menu (minus the dessert) and it was a great 10/10. If you’re in the area I would definitely recommend.

Visited JUJU for their walk-in izakaya service. This has been one of the BEST yakitori we have had in the States. A true gem in Orlando. We had the chicken skin, knee, heart, thigh w/negi and the tsukne. From the kushiyaki section we had the pork jowl, couple of times. All of them were delicious, but our least favorite was the tsukune, it tasted like gyoza filling. Skewers were cooked to perfection and the lemon salt that comes with them, compliments the meat really well. We saw a table next to us eat the seafood platter, we asked for their opinion and decided to get own for ourselves. The oysters had such a delicate texture, it almost felt creamy. I had tried uni couple times before and decided I wasnt a fan. But this uni changed my opinion. It didnt have that super salty fishy flavor at all. It was like eating a piece of butter seafood. The aged fish and the caviar/fish eggs bowl was also outstanding. The Pizza hut drink was such a treat too. I definitely want to visit their sister location next time we’re in Orlando. ごちそうさまでした、とってもおいしかったです!

It feels like you are dinning at Mr. Miyagi’s home and the staff are Miyagi’s black belts. It truly is a great vibe! If you want the Kappa Bar, you’ll need to make reservations days in advance. And that’s what I wanted to do. They don’t take reservations for dinning in. So, I came in early for the dinning experience and it was great! 15 minutes before opening time, you’ll be able to be seated just fine. It is a popular location amongst the locals so, I don’t recommend coming in later, unless you are ok with waiting a while outside. My favorite meal was that assortment of fish and Uni in a small wooden box. It was absolutely delicious. My wife loved the wagyu beef dumplings with truffle butter and their pork belly skewers. The price of the dinning meals are comparable to the taste, experience and service. The price of the Kappa Bar is a minimum of $180 per person. And yes, I’m looking forward to give that a shot.

Ok. So far the single best Japanese cuisine place in Orlando. There’s no ramen here, and they don’t need it. We got the Okonomiyaki, Chicken Karaage, Mentaiko Udon, and the Susuru Chashu Gohan and were blown away by the last two. We also got the Elixir cocktail, which has a Hurricane vibe. We’ll definitely come again to try other items in the menu, but this far I can say this is among the best places in and near the Milk / Mills 50 district areas. Also, the vibe is amazing.

Unbelievable experience. The food & cocktails are creative, exotic, unique, and top-notch in quality. From a Wagyu fat-infused Manhattan, to dry-aged seasonal sashimi, flavors were meticulously designed & presented to please. Beyond artistic combinations, even the most straightforward dishes were executed perfectly. Something as simple as chicken hearts on a skewer with salt and a lemon wedge was fantastic. Cannot recommend this place enough for anyone willing to venture out and explore flavors of a different niche. You won't be disappointed. Prices were nothing to break the bank, either.

Had the best time celebrating my birthday here! Food is smaller portions so you can try lots of menu items! You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! Everything we tried was awesome! Our server was so sweet too! The atmosphere was so eclectic and vintage fun. And the drinks are unique and beautiful and delicious! This place is a must try!

This is an interesting place feels a little like Tokyo with a small array of tiny plates that we had at the bar like the Age tofu and wagu steak skewers, then we had tye amazing duck entree and a really interesting rice pot w Chasu dish and then the amazing Sushi plate. All the dishes were well cooked, the restaurant a little disorganized, with tables being free and no Resy online, young staff, but happy to please. Worth another try as food delivers. Space looks authentic and frees like a Japanese memorabilia toy store for 80s Japanese items.

This restaurant gives the authentic feel that you are indeed in Japan. It’s like a high-end restaurant stall. The waitress was a bit absent minded, but the food made up for it. the duck was absolutely delicious and melted in my mouth. The Gyozas were crispy and the fried chicken was delicious me and my friend shared all of our plates and were full by the end of the night.

This place is forever packed and they don’t take reservation for regular dinner. A few weeks ago, I went there at 9pm and was told I need to wait for an hour so I left. A couple of nights ago, I went at 10pm so that I could try their skewers despite already very full from earlier dinner. To my surprise, there were many empty tables. Ordered yuzu sweet corn, pork belly, chicken skins and chicken meatballs. The skewers were good but the corn was bit dry and just as juicy as I expected. Can’t say they can rival what I had in Tokyo, but still good by Florida standard. Ambience is cool with quite a few Japanese figurines. This place has similar ambience to Susuru, its sister restaurant in Orlando as well. Susuru offers more skewers and grilled items, and ramen. This place offers raw fish in addition to skewers.

First of all, ask for Dawson ONLY if you want HONEST recommendations and personalized suggestions. DO NOT get the ribeye skewer. Have had 10x better ones for the same price. DO, however, get the MENTAIKO UDON (a must, might as well double up if you have a large party) and the okonomiyaki, if you’ve been to Japan and is craving for the CLOSEST thing to the real deal. The tenderloin skewer is a lot better than the ribeye. COCKTAIL - get the MURASAKI NO AME when you’re feeling pretty and want to feel prettier lol. AMBIANCE - they’re TRYING, ok. AND THATS WHAT MATTERS. Give them some time & SOME GRACE. Food and personality will eventually get there. It’s ALREADY showing potential. You can still take your friends and family out to enjoy dinner here, but don’t be judgmental.

First time at this new Japanese restaurant, which is the sister restaurant of Susuru. Since we loved Susuru, we had no other option them try this new location. Service was pretty fast, as we were seated right away on a Friday night at 6pm. Server was attentive, with great recommendations. Atmosphere was what you would expect of a traditional Japanese restaurant. The food was really good with different options then Susuru. They sadly didn't have Ramen, but had other interesting options. We tried the aged fish, which was delicious, and the chicken wings stuffed with chicken... Overall, we absolutely loved dinner here tonight, though we will give Susuru the nudge as far as overall food choices, in our personal subjective opinion. Also, a bit disappointed that they have the audacity to recommend a 50% tip on the check. A bit excessive if you ask me..

Been wanting to try this place out. When we arrived, they told us it would around an hour wait. I was scared of the wait time but I decided that we'll wait since I have been wanting to eat here. Surprisingly, we didn't wait too long. 20-25 mins. Phew!~ Waiter was amazing. The wait for the food took awhile but once we got our food, it was worth the wait. My box of sushi that I ordered was delicious. My husband got the duck, which was actually tasty (even though I am not a fan of duck). Overall, it was a nice experience. The vibes inside was lovely. I def want to come back and try their other food.

Was really excited to try this new izakaya restaurant while visiting orlando. We waited for the doors to open at 5:30pm and we were one of the first few people that got a table, The decor really reminded me of japan, the food menu didn’t have too much selections compared to the ones we have in toronto. The food was decent but I expected better, the service was great though. I ordered the A5 Wagyu hambagu and didnt realize it comes with rice and I also ordered a Susuru Gohan which is also rice and asked the server if I replace the susuru gohan with mentaiko udon and they were able to exchange it. Liked their homemade black sesame soft serve ice cream but I prefer the authentic black sesame ice cream more. Their sake pricing is reasonable. Washrooms were super clean. Wanted to try their sister restaurant Susuru the following day but had to wait 1.5 hours. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to others.

Juju is like Susuru's little brother who wants to tried to imitate his older brother but gets pity claps from other family members whenever he tries. It's a lot closer to me and it has less people, but it's definitely for a reason. Looking at the menu, the nice specialty drinks with toys and ramen from Susuru are both gone. Instead, it's replaced with "juju specials". One being the mentaiko udon, and the other is the duck. The duck was cold, which may be intentional, but my friend did not enjoy, and for being a more expensive menu on the item, it definitely isn't filling. The udon was the best part of the restaurant. Also, the pork belly in the yakitori and chashu gohan was mostly fat. I really hope they have weekly specials like Susuru, because you won't be filled up by any of the food here. Not at all. And being near the mills which is full of asian restaurants, the competition was steep already. It definitely isn't a replacement to Susuru, far from it. Instead the whole time you will be thinking "damn, we should have driven there instead."

Good not great. I appreciate what the owner has done from Jade to Suzuru and now Juju. Having lived in Japan, I appreciate the izakaya feel that he's going for here. The theming and the selection of dishes are a great tribute and very much the most authentic look and feel Japanese place in Central Florida, so thank you for that! However, post pandemic, the prices and portions are so ridiculous that it's hard to enjoy. We spent about $120 for two adults and a child, and left hungry lol. Suzuru is plagued by long tourist lines and often over salty yakitori, and I was hoping Juju would be much better for the locals, but the food is just not that impressive, and the portions seem even insultingly smaller than before. The yakitori chicken thigh skewers are probably still the best thing the restaurant has to offer. The wagyu beef gyoza are very good, but expensive of course. The chicken skin I think is fried first and very salty. The hamachi dish is literally five thin pieces of sashimi with a mustard sauce and a few pomegranates for $14. The enoki wrapped pork belly is a little tough and not even that flavorful. The place was booming of course, but mostly with yuppies and hipsters, young people who don't think twice about dropping money on overpriced dishes that are just so much better in Omoide Yokocho in Shinjuku. The decor is still awesome so worth the look for that at least once, but they should definitely consider some cloth paneling on the ceilings and other places to absorb the noise. The decibel level is extremely high because of the small space and hard concrete floors. It's pretty difficult to hear someone right across the table from you. It's like an elementary school lunchroom at full capacity... in more ways than one lol

This place was busy when I went there, there was 30 minutes wait. There was like a high school reunion there. Upon walking in there are a lot of Japanese decor mostly Japanese toys and signage. The waitress is very friendly and explained the menu, she came by multiple time to ask if we need anything and refill the water. The drinks is good but the food is very average and very pricey for what you are getting. The pricing of the food are very steep, one of our friend got the persimmon scallop dish for $16. It’s raw scallop and the portion I think like it’s like only 1 and a half sea scallop sliced into multiple pieces. Definitely not worth the price. She asked me to try it and when I put it in my mouth I realized I picked up a piece up a piece of yuzu flavored ice. So the portion was even smaller. As a matter of fact, the portion was so small that I wouldn’t even dare to pick up a piece! Other food are just average, chashu in the rice is nothing special. The chicken meatball were not amazing and little dry in the center it definitely need help from the sauce they put on top of it, however the wagyu gyoza was very flavorful and juicy. My favorite was the rice bowl with raw egg yolk and the wagyu gyoza. Their drinks are strong too and very well decorated. One of the drink have a ultra man toys that came with and allow you to keep which is a plus!

I would rate this place a 3.4. Could almost be 4 but not quite and here are the reasons. Madai Crudo: The Madai didn't taste fresh to me with a slight "muddy" flavor. The unique korikori texture a good piece if madai has was non existent. (Reminded me of cheaper madai you would get at a super market in Japan) This was unfortunate as the plating was pretty. Sauce had a pretty good flavoring also. I guess that at a restaurant like this, with a very casual atmosphere, this quality of fish is expected but I think it should be priced lower if they cannot source a good quality piece of fish. I would have definitely been dissapointed if had this dish as part of the $160 Kappo meal. Toro Tartar: It seemed like maybe 10% of the tuna was maybe Chutoro and 90% was regular akami. I can tell that they "tried" with the plating. I posted the photo of this dish in Instagram and received a lot of laughs. " Haha look at those things standing. So silly". I agree with them and now I can't unsee. The Tuna itself didn't have a whole lot of flavor, but the different flavors of the topping /garnish was fun and enjoyable. $17 I still feel is a little overpriced for this item, and at this price point, I would expect a good presentation also. (I'm a type of person that would be happy to pay hundreds of dollars for good fine dining / Quality food) Karaage: This was pretty good. Very similar if not same as the Karaage at Susuru. I would marinade the chicken a little longer, and try to fry in the way it keeps the juice inside a little better. If I was cooking, I would consider quick tossing in light sauce immediately after it comes out of the fryer. (This is soft opening so I'm sure they are still adjusting). Yuzu Mayo is fun and I think it goes well. Kushiyaki and Yakotori are fairly good. Smaller than your typical Japanese Yakotori so keep that in mind! Over all, I think it was a good experience. The restaurant does smell fishy and smokey (I don't mind as this is common in some izakayas in Japan. Part of the experience) but some folks I came with were bothered. Keep this in mind before coming here. The number of items in the menu really needs to be increased to be able to be called izakaya style. Perhaps more carbs. (Again this is soft opening so I believe they have limited menu). Also, noone in the kitchen or the servers were wearing masks, so if you are worried about the covid/monkey pox, keep this in mind! I'm excited for another Japanese inspired restaurant opening in Orlando, and hope this becomes a 5 one day!

I am a seafood fan and have had the best Japanese food in Japan. The tuna tasted too fishy and had that pungent aroma. Other dishes were more of a Japanese fusion not authentic. Presentation and service were good. The noise level is high. I think Juju is more of a hangout drinking place with Japanese fusion food, not really for a casual hole in the wall authentic Japanese food. Probably it’s good for some but I had wrong expectations of this place.

This restaurant is located in the Target parking lot where the old pizza hut was. Theme is a Japanese bar def achieved the look that was intended. There is a small seating lounge area next to the bar. Some of the furniture was loose and felt as though was about to fall apart. The bar is probably the most comfortable seating in the restaurant. Tables are equipped with hard wood stools or low thinly padded seats made out of milk/beer crates. Sitting longer than 20minutes had us already dreaming of more cushion. Service was speedy and attentive. 5 stars to our waitress! Food: Pretty average. The skewers were just ok, fried chicken was overdone and dry with some very high prices. Two of us ate lightly and didn't order alcohol but still racked up a $60+ bill. Desert was the highlight of the experience (changes daily). Cannot see myself coming back and with options like Tori Tori and Moderne just down the street, it's overpriced for what you receive. Cannot recommend it either.

The atmosphere isn’t great. It’s a former Pizza Hut. Some of the food was amazing and others were just average. It seems like an Asian fusion restaurant that leans heavily Japanese. All of the Wagyu steak was very good. We tried almost everything on the menu because we had a large group and shared everything

Derek Deal

The atmosphere is charming and the staff is friendly enough but the food is very hit or miss. Our last visit we had the wagyu short rib, which is a pricey dish meant for two people, but it was all fat and completely inedible. When I say inedible, I mean you’d have to be a K9 or packing a chainsaw to enjoy it. The staff was apologetic, but after a couple of other underwhelming experiences this was the last straw. There’s much better options in the area worth your time and money. Take head.

**UPDATED** They just closed whenever they want without any notices on their website/instagram/store, you can’t put notice on your story when it only last for 24hours. This is ridiculous. Will not return. ************ I got a chance to try the food here during there soft opening. The experience is great. Food is delicious and staff is friendly. They are more like a small version of Susuru, menu is smaller and I understand that it’s soft opening. Highly recommend their A5 Wagyu it is delicious. However, for the fried whole prawn the shell is kinda hard it is very easy to scratch your throat so you gotta be careful. And it is not a tiny prawn either. Not sure why when Susuru has bigger portion than Juju such as their fries and yakitori when they have a same price. Overall it is nice experience just make sure you order a lot since everything it’s small portion.
